We had an exceptional time at Hardings, start to finish. Jill and Ken made ever step, from signing to contract to the actual party itself as stress free as it could possibly be --going so far as to help us envision what the ceremony could be like and making six different cocktails at the tasting until we found the right one. The food was delicious (the amount of compliments we got on the apps alone could fill a book), the cocktails were unique and flowing and the staff made the whole day a dream. The restaurant was an elegant and gorgeous place to have the ceremony and it seamlessly turned into a perfect party spot after. We cannot recommend Hardings highly enough!

We cannot recommend Hardings highly enough! Ken & Jill were fantastic - detail oriented, communicative, attentive, calm, and flexible. The food/drinks are fantastic, staff is great, and the decor ambience stands all on its own with a rustic charm. Also in a great location - close to everything you want, but off the path enough that it’s not overrun with tourists.

The whole Harding's team, especially Jill and Ken, was extremely attentive to our every need and request and a delight to plan a wedding celebration party with. They communicated promptly and clearly all the way through the planning process and on party day and helped us plan an incredibly fun, yet still intimate, wedding celebration on a relatively short timeline. Their help suggesting and coordinating with trusted vendors, accommodating our requests wherever possible, setting up the space to our liking, and preparing customized drink and food menus for our celebration was above and beyond. The space itself is very unique and highly customizable to suit a party's needs; we opted for a cocktail hour followed by food stations around the dance floor, and were very impressed with how that all came together, but felt we could have chosen a more traditional sit-down dinner without difficulty if that had been our preference. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and it starts at the top with Jill and Ken's obvious positive energy and desire to partner with a couple to make their event special. We could not have asked for a better place to have our wedding celebration, a team to work with, or a better outcome of our celebration vision.

Our glasses were never empty, and our guests felt truly taken care of. The venue itself is a classic beauty. It exudes elegance and charm, making it the ideal backdrop for a wedding celebration. We were pleasantly surprised by how little additional decor we needed – the venue's inherent charm spoke for itself. One of the many things we appreciated about Ken and Jill was their network of recommended vendors. From the music to the photographer, every recommendation was spot-on. It made the entire process seamless, and we were able to assemble a dream team of professionals to make our day even more special. We can't recommend Harding's enough for anyone looking for a perfectly located NYC venue to host a wedding for 120 people. Ken, Jill, and their team go above and beyond to ensure your day is unforgettable. Our wedding at Harding's will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we are so grateful for the incredible experience they provided.

My husband and I are native New Yorkers who were looking to have a wedding reception of about 70-80 people. Harding’s was perfect for us in so many ways from start to end. 1) Their service and professionalism was above and beyond: Jill, the Events Director, and her husband Ken operate the restaurant and they are the best. Every interaction I had with them and the staff made me feel at ease since they’ve done a lot of events and really know what they’re doing. They and the staff were also so professional when it came to some last minute accommodations (including a family member who was recovering from a sudden medical emergency and could not eat most solid food - the kitchen put together a soup just for him). 2) The space is absolutely lovely: We opted not to do any additional decor since honestly we didn’t need anything more to set the vibe. The space has a very classy, timeless aesthetic which our photographer had a lot of fun with. They also have a balcony area that overlooks the main dining space - my husband and I requested to have our sweetheart table up there which made the evening extra romantic having some space to ourselves. Again, this also made for beautiful photos. 3) The food and drinks are excellent: At least one of our guests ate 5 sliders during cocktail hour alone since it was that good. Moreover, we had a number of guests with dietary restrictions (dairy, nut, shellfish, pork, beef, etc.), but the restaurant was able to accommodate them and even allowed people to take their leftovers home to-go. 4) The location couldn’t be better: located in midtown Manhattan, the space is accessible by many train lines and hotels. Since it’s so central, there’s so many options for bars and nightlife for our guests who wanted to keep the party going (and party they did). Since Harding’s is a restaurant on days when they don’t have weddings, we love the idea of being able to return for date nights on our anniversaries to come. In summary, for a Manhattan wedding I truly think we got a fantastic deal. It was a night to remember for us and all of our guests, and the restaurant now holds a special place in our hearts.

Everything about Harding's was the absolute best for our wedding venue. Kenny and Jill were amazing with communication, the bar staff was lights out with keeping guests thirsty, and the rest of the staff was absolutely phenomenal. All of our friends and family had such an amazing time and could not stop raving about the amazing food as well. 10/10 would recommend this spot for a wonderful NYC wedding!

We got married at Harding's a year ago and my friends/family still talk about what a nice venue it was. Jill and Ken went out of their way to make sure we had a perfect day. The best part of this venue is that it's not a typical catering hall and has such an intimate, rustic feel to it. They truly cater to your every need. The food and service was amazing, not a beat missed. I can't think of a nicer venue if you're looking for a more smaller wedding.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. This venue is a hidden gem! A NYC wedding is a lofty goal, and often feels out of reach or will break the bank. We are so so thankful for finding this place. Ken and Jill, the owners, are just incredible. Whether you’re using a wedding planner or not, they are excellent partners and worked with me on every detail. And on the night of the reception, Ken kept everything in order, on time, and over accommodated our guests needs. The venue is the perfect size for small-to-medium event, you get a lot for the price and the food was excellent. Our guests are still raving about it! I can’t wait to be back and recommend it to anyone in need of a private event space.

We had our wedding at Harding’s in December 2022. Everything was INCREDIBLE. From the gorgeous, elegant space (also the perfect size!) to the delicious food and drinks (stellar from cocktail hour through dinner and dessert), we are so happy we chose them. What truly shines about Harding’s are the people; Jill and Ken were a joy to plan with, and the day-of went flawlessly. The staff made us and our guests feel so taken care of – everyone went above and beyond. We continue to hear raves from our family and friends! We can’t recommend Harding’s enough – they made the most important day of our lives unforgettable, and we hope to celebrate special events with them for years to come.

A 5-star system feels far too small for me to rate just how wonderful a time my loved ones and I had at Harding's. My husband and I were planning our post-Covid wedding and we wanted to provide a fun place in NYC for our guests to enjoy after travelling from far away, but we were also looking for something intimate in the big city. Harding's was the first place we visited, and the last. As we were leaving after our conversation with Jill (who was a treasure throughout this whole process) and some amazing sweet potato fries, my husband and I looked at each other and thought: "This is it." With every stage of wedding planning, from start to finish, our joy and relief that we had chosen to work with Harding's, Ken & Jill only deepened. They did not only make the process less stressful, it was fun! The staff were also so helpful and nice to work with. Our guests still talk about how beautiful the venue was, not to mention the food and drinks... So tasty! Merely 2 weeks after our wedding, we were back for dinner 😄 Which is really great, that you can have dates and anniversary dinners in the place you got married at, and think back on the lovely memories. I'm very grateful for a business like Harding's. People there seem proud of what they do and are happy to share their work :) Can't wait to be back!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Harding's and everything was absolutely amazing! From the first time we met the owners, through every step of the way to our big day- the staff was extremely helpful and made sure we had the perfect wedding day. The location is stunning, delicious food and drinks and the friendliest, most likable owners and staff. We give Harding's an A+++ and will recommend it to everyone we know.

My Husband and I just had our wedding at Harding's on October 1st. We had the most wonderful experience! Ken and Jill were incredibly patient and responsive throughout the whole planning process. They really made us feel at ease about everything, and took the time to meet and talk to us whenever we requested. We got numerous compliments on how beautiful the wedding was, and how fantastic the food was. The staff on our wedding night were awesome. Harding's was the perfect venue for our classic NYC wedding. Jill and Ken are pros - easy to work with, know their stuff, come with great recommendations, and just all around great people. The venue itself is gorgeous, loved the chandeliers, exposed brick, and historical decor. Service was impeccable; staff was super nice and friendly, and never a line for food or drink. And speaking of, the food was DELISH, drinks were amazing. We had 88 people for a ceremony and cocktail style reception and it felt full but nowhere near crammed in. Plenty of room on the dance floor for everyone to sign and dance their hearts out all night long. Highly recommend!!!!

The whole process was great. Working with Jill and Ken was lovely. They made it feel special, easy and custom to us. Our guests continue to rave about the food and service. If we were to do it all again... I'd go back to Hardings!

After many hours of searching for the perfect NYC wedding venue we luckily found Harding’s and couldn’t be happier with the choice. The owners Jill and Ken are both amazing and on top of everything. We didn’t hire a wedding planner, and thanks to Jill we didn’t need one! She helped with all of the planning - menu, timeline, coordinating with other vendors, etc. - and was extremely easy to work with and very organized. The staff all go above and beyond and are very professional and great at their respective jobs. Every bartender there is a mixologist in their own right and they all make amazing cocktails whether they are pre-planned or on the fly. We had passed hors devours to start and multiple food stations. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious all the food was. The venue itself is perfect for a wedding reception. We had 120 guests and it seemed like the perfect number, not crowded, but not empty feeling either. The giant bar in the front and the efficiency of the bartenders ensured there was never a wait for a drink. Words can not describe how amazing our wedding was. My husband and I celebrated our wedding at Harding’s in December. We had a wonderful day with delicious food, great service. I would recommend Harding’s for any special event as you will have an extraordinary experience.

My husband and I were looking for a place to have our ideal wedding - an energetic dance party with good food and lots of drinks. We couldn't believe we could make it work in Manhattan on our budget. But we had the most perfect wedding at Harding's on a Saturday night in November 2021. Jill, Ken, and their team were absolute pleasures to work with, both during the seamless planning process and the night itself. The space is so charming and intimate; we kept flowers and other décor to a minimum. We had around 100 people and skipped the sit-down dinner (we always wanted cocktail-style); our guests had the best time - they loved the passed apps, stations and the cocktails (plenty of food and drink!). We didn't use a wedding planner, but Jill and Ken worked closely with us on menus, vendors, and day-of timelines. I would highly recommend Harding's!

From the moment we walked into Harding’s we knew we wanted our wedding to be there. We loved everything about it, the leather loveseat in front, the beautiful chandeliers, the enormous vintage American flag draped on the wall, even the collage of JFK newspaper clippings in the bathrooms. The fact that the food is delicious and that the owners Jill and Ken are friendly and laid back, yet incredibly professional and knowledgeable were added bonuses. Jill guided us through everything we needed to know and do, and Ken and his staff executed the day of beautifully. We had an amazing wedding and our guests couldn’t stop praising the food and ambience. It was truly unique and we wouldn’t change a thing. Only wish we could do it again!

As a twice postponed covid couple who had already had another venue booked that we were unhappy with, Harding’s stepped up to the plate from day one. From the first communication that I had with Jill I knew it wasn’t going to be a question that we were moving our 10/16/2021 wedding Harding’s. The customer service that they provide is next level, any question we ever had was answered and any problem we could have thought of was solved. Communication was amazing and transparent, the tasting even better. The day of neither of us had anything to worry about, Ken was on top of it all and worked in lock step with our day of coordinator. The space itself is beautiful and needs little in terms of decorations. The food is outstanding and the service is what really makes the night amazing. It’s been several weeks and we still have people reaching out to let us know how great the wedding was and how much fun they had. Both Jill and Ken provide an excellent service and let you run wild with the type of party that you want. The staff working that night made sure that the drinks were flowing and that everyone was having a blast. If you are looking for an elegant space with minimal worries then do yourself a favor and contact Harding’s. Thank you guys so much and we cannot wait to return for dinner!

Jill and Ken are amazing! I can't describe in words how they were so helpful, responsive, easy to work with, and professional. All our guests talked about our wedding and the venue for having a great ambiance and especially amazing food and drinks!

Excellent spot for a “non-traditional” wedding and great event planning service. Long story but up front will say I did not actually have my wedding here. Our wedding was scheduled for March 2020; postponed and eventually canceled due to covid. We did go through planning a wedding with Jill and Ken for over a year and I can say their attention to detail and communication is fabulous. They understand what a bride & groom need to know and are so easy to work with. Totally made us feel like the space would really be ours for the night and everything could be personalized. They were so gracious and communicative when covid eventually had to take our wedding outside NYC in 2021. After going through the planning process a second time at another restaurant venue I can say Hardings really stands out. Will always be sad we never got married here but would highly recommend them to anyone!

We had an amazing wedding at Harding's. After our original venue canceled on us with 3 months to go until our wedding, we stumbled across Harding's and they totally saved our day. Jill, Ken, and the whole Harding's team were a pleasure to work with and so organized. They helped us figure out the right plan for our party size, walked us through everything (anticipating questions we didn't even think to ask), and helped coordinate with vendors to make sure everything was seamless before and on the day of the wedding. The space is so unique and charming - it didn't need much to look magical on our wedding day, and there was enough space for a big dance floor and photobooth. Not only that, but the food and drinks were OUTSTANDING - our guests were raving about how good everything was that night, and we still get compliments. As an added plus, they worked with us to customize a menu without meat. We are so happy to have discovered Harding's, and we had the best wedding we could have imagined.

I had a lovely, Sunday Brunch wedding here back in September. They did an amazing job of transforming the space alongside my florist. They put a lot of time and effort into coordinating everything and I am very grateful. Thank you!

The perfect touch There is no way I can describe how incredible Jill and Ken are. What an important part they played, and how well they played it. From the moment I had my first phone call with Jill, to the moment she said good night that Saturday evening, I wouldn't have worked with anyone else! The venue is sensational! The set up is perfect. The location is just right. The quality of the food superb. My guests are still talking about it and many have gone back for dinner already. :) I was a bride planing a wedding in NYC from LA and I really dont think that I could have done it without Jill. From all of her suggestions, on set up, timing and vendors to use for flowers, cake, music, etc... Its was so seamless. I had 80 guests, with a huge dance floor, room for a photo booth and a two piece acoustic band, and plenty of seats (had a buffet style set up) - this place was Simply The Best!

Harding's made our dream wedding come true! From our first tour of the venue to the day of, Jill and Ken were incredible to work with. They were so flexible and easy to work with, and made our wedding stress free. The day of, I was able to enjoy myself and didn't have to worry about any of the details. One of my favorite parts of my wedding day was after our ceremony, getting to sit with my husband in the "green room" and enjoy a drink and some snacks while Hardings took care of the rest of our guests! I still have guests telling me how much they enjoyed the food, months after our wedding! The entire staff was so friendly and helpful in serving us and our guests. We had about 120 people, and did passed h'doeuvres and stations (and my favorite, ice cream sandwiches for dessert!) I would highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a stress-free city wedding!

I recently hosted my niece's bridal shower at Harding's. From start to finish, Jill and the staff could not have been more helpful. They offered the most for the least, and were extraordinarily responsive to both our questions and special requests. Jill even graciously provided an extensive list of outside vendors so making arrangements for center pieces and decorations was a breeze. On the day of the event, all went seamlessly and I was able to totally enjoy myself and be a "guest" at my own party. The venue has a great vibe and the food was plentiful and absolutely delicious! I would not hesitate to have another party at Harding's. Jill and all the wonderful staff at Harding's made the planning of my event totally stress free and worked hard to ensure that my niece had the most perfect day. I can not thank them enough!

Our wedding at Harding’s was perfect! We loved the look and feel of the restaurant with exposed brick and chandeliers. We had an afternoon brunch wedding, and all our guests loved the food and drinks. Just the right size for our 60 guests, and you can’t beat the location, just around the corner from the Flatiron building. So easy to get to for locals and close to hotels. Jill was a great help suggesting a DJ and other vendors. We loved our wedding day, thank you so much to Harding’s for making our day perfect.

Having our wedding at Harding’s was a dream from start to finish. My partner and I were looking for a classic venue to have a small party after our city hall ceremony and were referred to Harding’s by a friend. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. All of our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the space was. We cannot speak highly enough about Jill and Ken. They were extremely supportive of the vision we had and when we needed help they provided specific suggestions that matched our aesthetic and style. They are both super organized and will be with you every step of the way. On the day of the actual event the food was excellent and the service was out of this world. Would one hundred percent recommend Harding’s to anyone planning a wedding in New York!

I literally have no words to describe how much we love Harding's and appreciate all Jill and Ken did to make our wedding literally the best day ever. The process was so easy and actually fun with them and the Harding's staff. Pricing and logistics were super transparent and we never once had to worry about our venue or how we would float from one bit to the next during the event. Literally walked in and everything EVERYTHING went off without us having to prompt anyone or do ANYTHING day of. Our wedding was super beautiful, the food was delicious, the staff was BEYOND BEYOND top notch, and Ken was there to really guide the whole day. We basically wanted a wedding ceremony and then a big dance party with good food and good booze and Jill and Ken knew exactly how to do that and more. Our big day truly felt special and even 2 years later people still talk about our wedding and how it was the best wedding they've ever attended (and we had many many wedding vets in attendance!), everyone talks about the venue, the staff, and the amazing night they created for us.

What a great place Hardings is. We travelled to New York from Ireland to get married and I couldnt rate Hardings highly enough. We were looked after straight away and the food was amazing. So good in fact myself and my wife are going back for our 1st anniversary and have booked a table at Hardings for dinner. Cant wait.

Can't say enough good things about Harding's. From day one of our wedding planning Jill and Ken were not only professional but personable as well. During the planning Jill was organized and responsive and made us feel assured every step of the way. The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect. The food and drinks were incredible! We received so many compliments on how good the food was. The staff was also top notch. It was also great to see them smile and dance along through service. They even asked the kitchen to prepare a plate of fries for a few hungry kids who were not interested in the raw bar. Seriously top notch crew. I really do not have a single negative thing to say about Harding's. My husband and I had the best night.

We couldn't have been more thrilled with our wedding at Harding's!  We were looking for an NYC venue that was pretty, intimate, laid-back, and wouldn't break the bank.  Harding's checked off every box from the moment we walked in the door.  It was a perfect fit for a cocktail-style reception + dance floor for ~80 people.   Both Jill and Ken are an absolute pleasure to work with.  Jill was my main point of contact and made the planning process super smooth.  Ken was our day-of coordinator and he was 100% on top of our timeline and vendors.  The staff was also phenomenal - including checking in to make sure we had enough to eat/drink, and helping our elderly grandparents.  We (and our guests!) were so impressed. Harding's made our wedding day incredibly special - the venue is beautiful, the food/drinks are outstanding, and the whole team executed the night seamlessly.  We are still over the moon about it and could not recommend them more.

My husband and I hosted our wedding reception at Hardings in June 2019. Jill, Ken and the entire Harding’s staff were amazing to work with. They made sure that we had everything we wanted and helped us with seating plans, signature drink ideas, and they even provided us a list of vendors they have worked with for other wedding essentials, which was incredible! Jill answered our every question leading up until the wedding day and was fantastic to work with. Harding’s allowed us to store our décor before the event, made sure everything was set up perfectly for our reception and allowed us to pick up our remaining items and leftover wedding cake at our convenience. The entire process could not have been smoother. The entire staff at Harding’s was amazing and our guests are still raving to us about the quality of service and the delicious food! My husband and I were blown away by how seamlessly they handled the entire event. We loved the setup of the reception and had our cocktail hour held in the main restaurant, while my husband and I got our own private backroom service so we could taste all the delicious hors d'oeuvres and signature cocktails, while enjoying a quite moment before making our entrance. Ken organized the entire timeline for us and made sure everything ran on schedule and that our guests had everything they needed. We all danced the entire night. We are a laid back couple who wanted to ensure our friends and family mostly from outside NYC had a great time and Harding’s made that happen. We could not have been happier working with Ken and Jill and the entire Harding’s staff!

I got married here at the end of April and it was absolutely perfect. The staff was professional and organized. The food was INCREDIBLE -- so many people came up to me to comment on how much they loved it, and they only use premium liquor for the cocktails, which does not cost extra. We also extended it an extra hour. You get SO much for your money here. There are no BS cake cutting fees or anything like that-- everything is super reasonable in terms of cost. Jill and Ken, the owners, are amazing people who really care about making sure you're happy and that everything is as you want it. Seriously, cannot reccomend this place enough. Also they have a great dinner and brunch, we were regulars before we booked. The food on the wedding day tastes exactly as it does at the restaurant!

We have just returned to the UK from our magical wedding in NY. Our day was absolutely perfect which was hugely because of Harding's!! There was a wonderful welcome and a lovely atmosphere from the moment we walked through the door!!! The service and food were fantastic and the mezzanine table was very special!!! It is the perfect place for that special occasion and we couldn't recommend it more!!!

Jill, Ken & the whole team at Harding's were perfect from the start of our dealings with them. Coordinating before the wedding was as simple as an email. The day before the wedding one of our vendors had a technical issue that would have made them unable to make it to the wedding. Harding's jumped in and solved the problem - we were so thankful. My husband and I had known we wanted a wedding at at restaurant to ensure the quality of the food and we surely were not disappointed. At the same time, Harding's orchestrated the wedding without a hitch. All of our friends and family raved about the food, atmosphere and drinks! If we had to do it all over again, we would pick Harding's without any hesitation.

From the first time I reached out to Jill through the day of our wedding on September 2, our experience working with Harding's exceeded all of our expectations. My husband and I looked at many venues in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Westchester and Harding's was the clear stand out. It's a beautiful space with lots of character that can stand on its own or be enhanced, located in a wonderful neighborhood, and is reasonably priced for the excellent level of service and high quality of food they offer. However, what impressed us most was how Ken, Jill and their staff always approached us with humanity, never pressured us, and were always transparent. Their communication was top notch and Jill was always prompt to respond to any questions or requests we had over the 10 months of planning. They accommodated how frequently we stopped by to look at the space (sometimes with other vendors) and made a dessert for me that was not on their standard menu. They felt like partners through the whole process and we were so grateful to host our 75 person cocktail-style wedding/reception with them! In addition to the planning process going seamlessly, I have to shout out Ken for his professionalism and quick thinking when there was an electrical issue on the day of our wedding. A power outage on their block a few days before had effected their freight elevator, which is how wedding parties usually enter Harding's prior to the ceremony and/or reception so they aren't seen by their guests. That day the elevator felt like an oven in the summer heat. It was not an option to wait there for 30 minutes, sweat dripping off of us, until the procession started. Ken jumped into action when he saw how uncomfortable the situation was for me (I was already nervous!) and arranged for the wedding party to relax in a private, air conditioned space nearby until it was time for the ceremony to begin. Total relief and crisis averted! Ken was also a wonderful Day of Coordinator and made sure that the deliveries came off perfectly. The service our guests enjoyed on the day was top notch and the food and drinks were excellent. Seriously, the food is spectacular and we got many compliments from our guests on how good it was! Tommy was wonderful from start to finish, and the server that was taking care of my husband and me that night was so sweet. She checked up on us (and never in an intrusive way) to make sure we had food, water, drinks, etc and could enjoy the evening to the fullest. It was a beautiful day with so much joy in large part to Harding's and their exceptional staff!

If we were to do it all over again, we would choose Hardings 10000x again and again. From the first email contact, Jill was super attentive, amazing to answer any and all questions and always maintained professionalism with a warm heart. The space is absolutely transformative into anything you'd dream up. They were able to accommodate our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, making seamless transitions from one to the other, all while leaving us and our guests amazed at the consideration and detail by all staff members. Our guests, still, bring up how delicious the food and custom drinks were the entire day. Hardings will forever have a special place in our hearts and we look forward to future date nights that allow us to reminisce in the space that we became husband and wife!

My husband and I got married at Harding's in May and it was the most perfect place for us. Jill was extremely helpful throughout the entire process, so responsive and organized. She was understanding when our date had to change last minute and helped us get everything in order. We had 150 people and a cocktail reception. We were worried about space and dancing but it could not have worked out more perfectly. Steve did our tasting with us and ran the show that day. He was professional and made up feel comfortable and sure of our choice in venue. Tommy was with me the entire night and I have pictures to prove that anything I needed, he was there. The food was phenomenal, which was extremely important to us. We did not have a sit-down dinner, however there was plenty of room for all guests to eat comfortably. We did passed appetizers and stations. Guests were raving about the food for weeks and couldn't decide what they liked best (it was the short-rib spoons for my husband and me). The drinks were strong and delicious and they had a great selection. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, photos and reception. We can't thank Jill, Ken, Steve and Tommy enough for the perfect night and the greatest wedding ever. We highly recommend Harding's for anyone looking for a beautiful, small wedding venue in Manhattan with exceptional food and incredible staff.

We just had our wedding at Harding's and it was fantastic. We were looking for a restaurant space in NYC to host a wedding for about 120 people, and Harding's was able to do that. The space itself is very cool, with high ceilings and a wrap around bar, and the location cannot be beat. Ken and Jill are amazing to work with -- I can't say enough about how great they were and how helpful. Jill helps plan all of the details leading up to the wedding, and then Ken was there day of, helping coordinate everything. The food was amazing, staff excellent, and all of our guests raved about the evening overall! Definitely recommend looking into having your wedding at Harding's!

We had a great experience hosting our wedding at Harding’s. From early on, Jill was upfront, direct and accommodating. She was incredibly organized and responsive and worked with us through all the options and choices. Ken was a great event organizer - we didn’t have to worry about running anything because Ken and the rest of the staff had it covered. Additionally, my husband and I chose Harding’s because we wanted good food and great cocktails and the night of the wedding, it felt like we were eating at a restaurant, not a catering/banquet hall. The food was delicious and the cocktails were perfect. Jill and Ken worked with our vendors to create a beautiful and memorable event for us. From flowers to the DJ, they were professional, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. I am so so happy we chose Harding’s. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I recently got married at Harding's and we couldn't have asked for a better venue or a better staff. Planning our day with owners Jill and Ken was a breeze. The space was perfect for our wedding as it has so much character and charm already built in. The layout of the resturant is perfect to hold both the ceremony and the reception. It flowed so beautifully and provides the perfect spot for guests looking to dance, sit and hang out, bar flies, etc. The food and beverages was and always is amazing at Harding's. Our guests raved about every dish and specialty cocktail. A truly incredible evening at an incredible space! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get married in NYC!!!

Honestly, such an amazing experience from the start. Jill and Ken (owners) are so helpful and and attentive. Jill was always prompt to answer my emails and questions and concerns. The staff on my wedding day was amazing, such a great crew of people they have there! The food and drinks are OUTSTANDING, all of my guests were raving about the food ! All in all, if you are looking for a non-traditional wedding in NYC I would reccommend Hardings 1000000%

My husband and I wanted a fun venue for a cocktail party/wedding reception. Harding's was perfect. The space was absolutely perfect for passed canapés and food stations, with plenty of room for an open dance floor. The staff could not have been any better and all of our guests raved about the food and the drinks. Organizing the event was an absolute pleasure too...Jill and Steven were so patient and knew exactly how much food to recommend for a party our size (about 100 guests). We loved the laid back vibe. We had a large number of out of town guests so the location was perfect too. Everyone stayed in different parts of the city, but Harding's is really easy to get to from uptown and downtown locations. And for what it's worth, the space photographs beautifully. We couldn't have been happier with how the entire event turned out!

Our rating of this venue is solely based on the way we were treated by the owner, Jill, of this venue right before and after our wedding. Everything was great the day of our wedding - the manager Steve, the other owner Ken, the food and the atmosphere were exactly what we wanted. However, all of that has been overshadowed after what we have been through. On two occassions before our wedding we were snapped at by Jill (she was not present the day of our wedding). But the most disturbing experience - the day after our wedding - was when we returned to pick up our decorations. Most of our decorations were damaged, broken or missing. When I was told no one could find our forks and cake server and the top of our cake we asked to speak to the owner, I also began crying. I was presented with a tangled pile of broken flowers, table numbers, candles, one champagne glass and other decorations - all damaged and broken. I was also handed a box by a customer who wanted to help me so nothing else broke (yes this is true). When she arrived she screamed at us, attacked us, called us names, the list goes on - please understand I am not exaggerating. She yelled at us that this was not their responsibility, it is a small venue and they have limited space. We can understand the limited space and understand glass items can easily break. We had planned on taking our items with us the night of our wedding. However, we were told it was ok to leave them and pick them up the next day. Of course in hindsight I wish we had taken our stuff with us and never had to go back to the venue the next day. It is just very hard to understand how your wedding venue could break, damage or loss most of your decorations or memorable items from your wedding and then scream at you that it is not their fault and they were being nice to let us leave our things there over night (again not an exaggeration I was screamed at by Jill how nice she is). As someone who puts a lot of thought and heart into moments like this our experience was nothing short of heartbreaking. We requested an apology from the owners and they have refused to apologize to us. It is very hard for us to understand how a wedding venue owner could treat their clients this way. Our experience with the owners of this venue has been nothing short of disturbing and disappointing.

The FOOD, the DRINKS, the VENUE...all of it, amazing! The staff were ON POINT. Our entire wedding experience was overall amazing. We highly recommend the place for any occasion, really. Perfect location too!

We had such an incredible experience with Harding's! Leading up to the wedding, Jill and Ken made everything so easy. We explained what we wanted and they delivered. It was such a relief to find a cool location that could also supply great food and drinks. The staff was amazing and everyone told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I highly recommend Harding's to anyone looking for an awesome wedding venue.

We had an amazing experience with Harding's. My husband and I wanted to have a non-traditional wedding and had a terrible time finding a venue to help us keep the wedding traditions we wanted without the ones we didn't. Jill made things so easy for me, was so responsive, and worked hard to give us what we wanted. Rather than a wedding factory with cafeteria food and cheap wine, we got amazing food and high end cocktails. The bartenders were a delight and multiple guests commented on the amazing service. We visited on our 1 year anniversary and can't wait to visit every year!

We were able to customize the menu for our 120 guests- the food, cocktails and service were great, definitely went above and beyond for us. The team at Harding’s made everything EASY, we knew exactly what to expect and what it would cost. Everything turned out beautiful, and we couldn’t be happier with the day.

I cannot express in a short written review how amazing our experience was at Harding's. We are regulars and had been coming for drinks/dinner for the past 2 years. When we got engaged, we thought why not have a non-traditional wedding at our favorite spot in Flatiron? We were able to have the wedding of our dreams for a very affordable price. Jill, the events coordinator, held our hands throughout the whole process and made a potentially very stressful event, seamless and easy. Ken and Steve ensured that the night of went off without a hitch and our family and guests are still raving about the experience! Thank you again Harding's!

I really can't put into words how amazing our experience was at Harding's. Jill held our hands throughout the entire process and we were able to have our dream NYC wedding at a very affordable price. Our friends are still raving about the reception and party that we had last Spring. Ken and Steve ensured that everything was timed out perfectly and that all the guests and our family were taken care of and attended to. I love going back for dinner or drinks and having the memory of our wedding there every time!

My now-husband and I didn't know exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue, but it turns out Harding's was it. First (and possibly most importantly), the service was incredible. From our first initial contact with Jill we felt at ease. It was the first time a venue had responded to us with a complete breakdown of price with no wishy-washy language leaving room for hidden fees. She told us EXACTLY what a wedding there would cost, tax and gratuity included. Every time I'd reach out to see if something was included in the price she gave us, the answer was always "yes." This initial communication was indicative of what the entire process was like. Jill and Ken responded to every question and request promptly, and helped us make decisions when we asked. My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised at how stress-free it was to plan our wedding, thanks in huge part to Ken and Jill. We had our ceremony and reception at Harding's (with 92 guests), and everything was perfect. The space was beautiful, the food was unbelievable (the sliders were a HUGE hit), and the servers so attentive (which our guests noticed and loved). Once the dancing part of the evening commenced, it was so nice to have a large dance floor, and to also have the front area by the door for guests that would prefer to sit and chat. I could go on and on, but needless to say, if you want a true Manhattan wedding, but don't want to sacrifice excellent food and beautiful decor, contact Jill and Ken at Harding's immediately. We are so happy we did.

We can not say enough great things about Harding's. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and has such a great old New York, and rustic Americana feel. Jill and Ken (owners) are such professionals, and worked with us each and every step of the way. Their communication was outstanding, and they were so willing to help answer each and every question. Their staff was so professional and attentive. We did not have a single guest that did not RAVE about how amazing the food was, from cocktail hour to entrees, saying it was the best wedding food that they have ever had. If you are getting married in New York City, you would be silly to not check out Harding's. We promise you could not ask for more in a venue.

What can I say!? Ken & Jill (the owners) are experts. And you can tell they find enjoyment in pulling off a fantastically seamless wedding reception! The Harding's space was perfect for our casual but elevated reception we had in mind. The food was hands down fantastic, the guests raved about the custom cocktails - and the staff was one of the most attentive and funnest group of people my husband and I have had the pleasure to meet. Ken really took care of the wedding couple by setting us up with food and drink in the back upon arrival - you're going to need it! All in all they really made our night completely unforgettable and magical and we are eternally grateful and forever fans of Harding's!

Everything about Harding's was great for our wedding: the decor, the location, the food. But the most important part of all was the service. From the very beginning, Jill and Ken worked with us to create a day that was exactly what we wanted, and even handled our last minute decoration requests with decorum and grace. They brought in a special beer for my (now) husband, they arranged all of our decorations, the communicated every step of the way. And the staff that actually worked our event was beyond words! Not only were we, as the bride and groom, looked after as VIPs, but so was every single guest, several of which can't stop mentioning how great the food was. We can't recommend it highly enough.
