Harris Academy is outstanding!! I first learned of them when my sister got married in 2016. A string quartet from Harris performed during her ceremony and also played at the reception during dinner. Not only was the ceremony music gorgeous. But the quartet played popular songs all throughout dinner. To me, that was so cool and such a lovely touch. So when I got engaged, that was something I remembered from her wedding and wanted to also have at mine. My husband and I had a few songs that we for sure wanted them to play and they were very accommodating. The quartet played the James Bond theme for my husband and Here Comes the Sun along with other great tunes. The best part about our experience with Harris, and one of the greatest memories from our wedding day, was when we got to walk into our reception to the main theme from Game of Thrones!! Harris is not only extremely professional but they are some of the nicest people you'll come in contact with. Marla is so sweet and so is Vicki, the owner, who are quick to answer an email or question you might have.

Harris Academy provided a cello/piano duet for our reception and it couldn’t have been better in any way. The music was moving and set the perfect tone for our relaxing, low-key, classy wedding reception. Guests commented throughout the evening that they loved the song selection and arrangements. They were so easy to work with, I had to do barely anything and they provided the perfect outcome. I would highly recommend!!

We used a violinist from Harris Academy and she was phenomenal! They did a great job of contacting us to be sure everything was exactly what we wanted prior to the wedding date. They were very accommodating and were able to give us song ideas and perform the other songs we wanted that weren’t on their list. I would recommend them to anyone!!

I was married in July in an outdoor setting and having a string quartet was the cherry on top for this beautiful setting. Harris Academy was so wonderful to work with! They gave us many options in case of inclimate weather and we lucked out with the most beautiful sunny, cool breeze evening (but I was so grateful to have so many back up plans, it truly put my mind at ease). Their music is second to none and Sydney was always quick to respond to my many emails! I very very highly recommend them!!

Harris Academy did an amazing job. They played the violin and the piano (a really lovely combination)! I was able to listen in around the corner as they played some of my choices during the prelude. It was beautiful! They played "How Beautiful" by Twila Paris as I walked down the aisle. Wow! It set the mood and created this incredible moment that I will never forget. The people at Harris Academy are really wonderful people and took really great care of me! I would whole heartedly recommend them!

Such a great business to work with, very professional and organized! They were able to get a string quartet together in about a month for my wedding. We used many songs from their song list but added a few others including a cello solo during our communion in our ceremony that is my absolute favorite!! The strings sounded amazing during the ceremony and dinner and I got so many compliments!! Thank you so much for making my day so special!

Harris Academy of the Arts was spectacular! My husband and I had a vision for the sounds of our wedding and all of the songs we requested became a reality! We had one song in particular that was not a current song in their arsenal and Olivia was able to find sheet music for the song therefore being able to bring our musical dreams to life (and save us the cost of having to have one of the talented musicians create sheet music)! The pianist also accompanied a soloist and was able to provide practice music ahead of time so that the pair performed flawlessly at the event! We had the violin/piano combo. I highly recommend adding professional musicians to your event, you will not regret it!

Olivia & Vicki from Harris Academy of the Arts were absolutely fabulous to work with! Olivia was only on day 6 of the job, but based on her organization & level of preparedness for the meeting, you would’ve sworn she’d been at it for years! Both ladies made the entire process seamless and extremely enjoyable! They broke down each part of the ceremony and we discussed our vision for each segment as they made suggestions if we weren’t quite sure. They never once laughed at my extreme love for any and all Disney songs, and were actually very excited about incorporating them into our ceremony. The ladies met with us at 7:30pm on a school night as to accommodate our busy schedules and did not rush the appointment even though it was such a late one. The Harris Academy of the Arts has a whimsical and fun atmosphere; pianos were playing the background of our appointment which just helped to set the scene for our meeting. Then the ladies themselves being extremely helpful, knowledgeable & sweet, made it all picture perfect!! We are beyond grateful to Olivia & Vicki for putting everything together for us on our big day! Everything sounded absolutely beautiful and set the elegant tone (pun intended) for our ceremony.

Harris Academy was the perfect addition to our day. We held an outside ceremony and had a violin duo. The duo also played for our cocktail hour. HAA was easy to work with and provided upfront communication. I would highly recommend.

They were great to work with! We had a bit of miscommunication with what instruments could play which songs on their play list but after that it was smooth sailing. Our guests loved the live music at the ceremony.

Harris Academy was a pleasure to work with. I found them at a bridal fair, e-mailed shortly after, and was in constant communication with Sydney throughout my planning. She answered all of my questions and provided the opportunity to meet to hear samples. We hired a pianist for our ceremony music. She came to our rehearsal to practice with a friend of mine that was singing a solo for our unity ceremony. I was more than pleased with how our ceremony music turned out and was so excited to hear all of the songs we picked while I was waiting to walk down the aisle. I had a piano/violin duet for my ceremony, and a string quartet for the dinner hour of my reception. The music was phenomenal and beautiful and everything I imagined it would be! The musicians were accommodating to specific pieces - my fiance (now husband) composed our processional and recessional, and they gladly learned the new pieces for the ceremony. Sydney is a breeze to work with and helps out every step of the way all the way up to the big day! I'm still getting compliments on the music. I found Harris Academy less than six months before my wedding in a small town in Nebraska. Their music samples on their website sounded too good to be true, but I pulled the trigger and hired them. Sydney, our point of contact, was very nice and it was easy to communicate with her utilizing my preferred method of wedding planning (email!). I hired two violinists who played during my wedding ceremony. I could not even believe my ears when I was standing in my bridal suite. It was just as I had heard on the music samples. It was not too good to be true! I would recommend Harris Academy to any of my closest friends or family. Thank you Harris Academy for making my wedding ceremony so memorable.

Harris Academy is wonderful! I was planning my wedding from more than 1,000 miles away, and finding musicians was one thing that was stressing me out. Of course I realized all the stressing was unnecessary once I got in touch with Harris Academy. Vicki and Sydney were so gracious and professional, and put me at ease instantly. We had a pianist and a violinist at our ceremony, and the music was perfect. The music was the touch that made the ceremony more lovely than I ever imagined. For the rest of the night, so many of our guests commented on how beautiful the music was.

Harris Academy is fantastic to work with. We had a piano and violin duet for cocktail hour at our reception. We asked for contemporary music and they delivered very well. I only wish I would have placed them in an area more visible such as close to our cake table. Then you not only hear them, but can see them as well, which makes is an elegant and magical experience. The sound system is definitely a good investment when booking. Very happy with our experience.

Harris Academy of the Arts were amazing to work with. Very quick on communication and follow up. We hired a string quartet to play before, during and after the wedding ceremony. The music was absolutely beautiful.

The music was so much better than what I could have imagined. We got the trio of voice, violin and piano and it was amazing. There set up was great. There playing of the music we chose was splendid. Our first dance was amazing with live music. We got many compliments on the music we chose and the musicians. If I had to do it over again I would choose Harris every time. I would recommend them to anybody who wants live music at their wedding. Some of the songs we chose they didn't have, but they easily got them and played them beautifully. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, amazing. Thank you once again Harris for making our special day even more special.

I was scrambling last minute to book musicians for my wedding ceremony and HAA took good care of us. Sydney got us quotes for a different number of musicians and we ended up hiring a pianist & cellist. She was so informative, detailed, patient, and professional. I'm not the easiest person to work with and she made our process so smooth & kept right on top of things. The musicians were the best! They were flexible when it came to rehearsing with my singers, dressed up in suits, & played beautifully! It was like having our own personal concert at our wedding. If you want live music for an event, I highly recommend HAA.

The Harris Academy was such a great addition to our wedding. They were extremely professional, and their music was beautiful! It really did make our ceremony so special. They are talented and we would use them again in a heartbeat, there pricing was extremely affordable. They played our special request songs flawlessly. We cannot recommend anyone higher!!!

Dan our acoustic guitarist was impeccable! We had such a precise image in our head of the vibe we wanted for our ceremony and he hit it out of the park. Not only did they travel to omaha for us but was on time and continued playing even after the guests had left while we did pictures after. He truly went above and beyond the call. After hearing about Harris at a wedding show I attended and later finding out they were located right down the street from our apartment, we decided to give them a shot and we sure are glad we did! Sydney made us feel at ease and was very knowledgeable as we went over music selections. We had a cellist and pianist who performed beautifully on our big day. Very professional. We saved money by not having them at rehearsal and while I was admittedly nervous about that, I now know I didn't need to be. Our guests raved about the ceremony music and we were just as pleased!

We had our ceremony music and cocktail our music through Harris Academy. The musicians were amazing and they helped make our day so special. I was concerned about not meeting/rehearsing or hearing the music prior to the wedding but they were very professional and everything went perfectly! I highly recommend them!

From day 1, they were so easy to work with! My mother is REALLY into music and wanted something special for our wedding. She found Harris Academy and suggested them to me. I loved that I could listen to some of the music online before making a decision. Sydney worked with me to pick out the songs that best fit my groom and me. We loved having them at our wedding! The guests loved them too. We chose "newer" songs that fit our personality but the fact that it was a piano and strings playing our songs made them sound so elegant! Thanks for everything!

Absolutely beautiful people all around. I worked with Sydney and booked them early on in our planning and couldn't have been luckier to pick the best of the best. Everyone at Harris was unbelievably kind and easy to work with. I called her the week before the wedding a bit nervous as I had put the wrong song for one of my requests, and she had already figured out what I meant and reassured me. I cannot give a better review for such lovely people. If you're thinking about live musicians, this is the best place.

Harris Academy is FANTASTIC! From the moment we met them, we knew we wanted them to provide music at our wedding ceremony. Vicki and Sydney were friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I absolutely loved having the Harris Academy of the Arts playing at my outdoor wedding! It was one of my favorite parts of my wedding having live music and I was so excited to have them. The ladies were wonderful to work with and very helpful! They were able to provide me with all the music I wanted and gave me great music options when I needed ideas. I would recommend them to anyone who wanted live music!

We had them play at our reception venue during the cocktail hour as the guests arrive while the bridal party went out in the limo and took pictures and such before arriving at the reception venue. I heard of only positive feedback from the guests as we weren't able to enjoy the experience ourselves.

My husband and I are both huge classical music fans, and while piano is usually our preferred instrument we decided to go with a string quartet for our outdoor ceremony (piano really wasn't an option when it came to having an outdoor ceremony). Harris Academy of Arts' musicians did not disappoint, and added that extra memorable element to our wedding! Being able to walk down the aisle with the quartet playing in the background made the moment even more special. I would highly encourage anyone interested in having live music at their wedding look into Harris Academy!

Harris Academy of the Arts provided beautiful and unique music at my ceremony. I received tons of compliments from guests on the music ! The staff at Harris are professional, very quick to respond to any questions that I had and they went above and beyond to meet with myself and my husband to plan the perfect music for our day! Was very easy to set-up beforehand. One hiccup we experienced; we had in the contract violin/guitar duo... 2 weeks before the wedding, we were notified that they had "ran out" of guitarists (even though it was in our contract) for our upcoming wedding day. Initially, I was upset (I really loved the string duo), but I got over it and we opted for a violin/piano duo. They showed up, we're friendly, and played beautifully. Overall, we were very happy with their service.

I used Harris Academy of the Arts for live music during my ceremony and my cocktail hour. Of all the events the day of my wedding, I received the most compliments on the live music, especially the vocal preformance. Besides the amazing music, Harris Academy was a pleasure to work with. I personally worked with Kelsey and she made the process so easy. If I did not have an exact answer for her concerning music selection, she provided me with options which made my life much easier. Towards the end of the process she was amazing enough to make some decisions for me based on the information I provided her. I had so much going on the last 4 weeks of planning (as does everyone) that it was so nice to be able to trust they were making the best decisions for my wedding day. I would highly recommend Harris Academy to anyone looking for live music on their wedding day or any other event!

The Harris Academy was great to work with. Their event coordinators were very friendly and professional, even though all of our interactions took place over email (which was most convenient for me, since I was planning from out of town). They did everything they could to meet our requests, and were prompt in getting back to me. We could have saved a lot of money by simply playing a recording, but my husband really wanted a string quartet - and it ended up being worth it. The musicians customized the songs we had chosen so that the excerpts they played were exactly the right length for each part of the ceremony, and they were also glad to play with a couple of my musician friends for one of the pieces of music we selected. Corey, who was the Harris cello player, came to the rehearsal to practice with them, and even took over the responsibility of making sure the sound equipment was set up how it should be, assuring me that I didn't need to worry about any of it. Admittedly, I was quite nervous in the week leading up to our outdoor ceremony that the weather could prevent the musicians from playing (it rightfully states in their contract that they reserve the right to not play outdoors in certain conditions). But even though our wedding ended up taking place on the hottest day of the summer, the musicians braved the heat and still sounded great. Words cannot express my appreciation for their willingness to play despite the weather conditions, and for their professional and extremely helpful service throughout the planning process and up through our big day. Thank you, Harris Academy!

I contacted Harris Academy of the Arts about six months before my wedding (which was held on April 26, 2014), and I was ready to book one of their talented violinists on my first phone call. The owner is incredible to work with, and (from the review of my personal pianist and friend) so are the musicians (we hired only a violinist from Harris, but I'm certain the others are equally wonderful). The violinist played all of the songs I dreamed about (even the quirky ones), and she helped to make everything so beautiful! She even had practice dates with my pianist, and their duets were fabulous. I couldn't have a more positive review.

On November 9th our daughter was married. We hired Brian from Harris to provide the ceremony music as well as dinner music. We had originally planned to have two guitar players but at the last minute, one was unable to perform. Vicki contacted us right away to provide options including a different artist, a refund, or something else. She was at all times professional and supportive. In the end, she performed on keyboards with Brian on guitar and vocals. The ceremony music was amazing and the dinner music was exceptional. Several of our guests commented on the music and we could not have been more pleased. Brian and Vicki are amazing artists and conducted themselves in a highly professional manner. I would highly recommend Harris Academy of the Arts for any function. We were extremely pleased.

We had a live trio for ceremony and reception, they were wonderful! We chose a combination of cello, piano and guitar with modern music selections. Vicki, the owner, and Amy Fairchild, their even planner, are wonderful to work with. They were very professional and were willing to play any request we gave them. The ensemble also played through the cocktail hour and we received many compliments on their performance.

The music at my wedding was absolutely beautiful thanks to Harris Academy of the Arts. Everything went exactly as planned! The whole process was very simple and well organized. Very happy overall!

When we decided to do an outdoor ceremony, I wasn’t sure what to do about music. We considered just plugging in a CD player or iPod. I had dreamed about walking down the aisle to a mix of piano and violin playing. I happened to stumble upon Harris and am so glad I did. We had a soloist and they worked with her, even setting up a time for her to rehearse with them. They sounded beautiful and so many of our guests commented on how great they sounded. We did want to have a song played off an iPod for our recessional song and the lady I worked with said that it wouldn’t be an issue. When the two musicians got there, they didn’t know anything about it, and in the end, couldn’t make it work. They covered fine though and I don’t think many people noticed the difference. In the end for what they were responsible for playing, they did a great job.

I had a string quartet from Harris Music Studio play at our wedding in Omaha. They did a fantastic job! Amy was very easy to work with and got back to me quickly with any questions I had. I also picked some untraditional music and they learned the songs and it was awesome! I am sooo glad I choose them and would highly recommend them to any one else. Guests at our wedding kept commenting about how beautiful the music was. The string quartet played for 30 mins before the ceremony, during the ceremony and them 30 mins after the ceremony. They also played for 1 hr during a cocktail hour at our reception. Again, fantastic job. they were very professional and polite!

They did a great job for our wedding. They listened to me and let me be as involved as I wanted in music selections. Certain parts of the ceremony I really cared about what I picked and some parts I wanted them to come up with certain styles but not be too involved. I think they did a great job and were friendly and easy to work with.

I would highly recommend using them!! They are reasonable priced and their musicians play BEAUTIFULLY! I was more than pleased with them. They were professional- and everyone gave me odd looks at the fact my musicians weren't at rehearsal... but you would NEVER KNOW!!! They did a fantastic joB!

We had a duet of violins from Harris Music Studio for our ceremony and cocktail hour. They were beautiful and everything went off without a hitch. Amy, who works with weddings was very attentive and e-mailed several times to confirm. I would definitely recommend them for their quality as well as the price.
