Harris Ranch Inn & Restaurant

I had a great experience at Harris Ranch for our wedding. After our first meeting I was sold on the location and the wonderful staff who we would work closely with for the next 9 months. Stephanie helped us keep focused and had great suggestions for do’s and don’ts. Without her keeping us on time for all events that day, we would not have made it through the “housekeeping” items as smoothly or had as much fun in the process. We did not have to decorate the courtyard for our ceremony because it is kept up so beautifully with trees, flowers and lights. It was a perfect November day. The staff was all on hand to help decorate the reception hall from setting up tables and placing chairs, to making sure every detail on the table was perfect. The wait staff was quick in bringing out the food for dinner and all of our guest keep saying it was the best food they ever had… especially at a wedding! The prime rib and chicken cordon bleu was delicious! We could not get enough of the carrot, lemon and chocolate cupcakes either. Our guests washed it all down with a great Harris Ranch wine. The location, next to a beautiful hotel, could not have been any better. It allowed our guests to stay the night without having to drive back home. The rooms were rustic and cozy. The room we used for the bridesmaids to get all dolled up in was large to accommodate the 7 of us plus the 2 hairdressers easily. Overlooking the pool, I was able to get a glimpse of my fiancé before we had our first meeting for pictures before the ceremony. Overall, I would highly recommend Harris Ranch Inn and Restaurant as a perfect location to get married or have an event. Everything went so smoothly and we have their establishment to thank! I coul'd not have been happy with our choice to go with Harris Ranch! The Courtyard was absolutely gorgeous for our ceremony and the food stole the show at the reception. The best part was having the hotel on site. It allowed our party to last until the last second!!!

Our original coordinator was awesome, but she went on medical leave (and I don't believe came back), so we got stuck with Stefanie. She was passive aggressive and then completely unhelpful because I wouldn't do what she wanted. I got steak though I ordered chicken and our wedding cake didn't taste right. Plus they didn't get the cake out in time for the florist to decorate so my cake was just white. Our room was dusty because apparently they don't rent out the big suite much and we found things previous guests had left behind. They also gave the groom's parents the free upgrade instead of my parents who paid for the wedding and were supposed to get it, and refused to fix their mistake. Like I was going to tell my new mother in law the room wasn't supposed to be hers. OTHERWISE, the venue itself is lovely and my guests loved it. The price was also perfect. The only person on the service end who I loved was the bell hop (i don't think that was his title, he seemed to do odds and ends) who went out of his way to help me and even ran back to my hotel room in the rain because I forgot the rings ^^;

My husband and I were married at Harris Ranch in September 2010. I can't say enough good things about this place. They took all my stress and worries away. The girls in the sales office who do the weddings were absolutely, hands down the sweetest, friendliest, most helpful girls any bride could have planning her wedding!!! The food was superb, the service was great, my cake was GORGEOUS!!! They did everything for me so I could fully enjoy my wedding day. My husband and I still cannot get over what a pleasant experience we had. I wholeheartedly recommend Harris Ranch to any bride and groom.

Harris Ranch was the perfect place for a central California wedding!! Amazing food drew my husband and I here and we were thrilled when we received great service, accommodations, and much more! We held the ceremony and reception all in the garden ballroom which was great for everyone and so intimate and special. No traveling from location to location. It was perfect! If you have guest traveling from out of town Harris Ranch Inn is a great place for them to stay. I recommend Harris Ranch to any bride and groom!
