These ladies were punctual, professional, and did great wedding hair and makeup!

I received hair and makeup services by HHS as the Matron of Honor at my best friend’s wedding and cannot sing their praises enough! Both hair and makeup were impeccable. Chelsea is a true professional and really takes her time providing a quality service. Highly recommend and wish I would have booked them for my wedding!

The staff were great! They listened to us and let us all pick what works best for us. I was a little uneasy about my hair at first but they were able to make some tweaks and now I love it!

I absolutely loved both my hair and makeup! Would definitely recommend this team for all your wedding beauty needs.

Chelsea is WONDERFUL. Amazingly talented in makeup and such a fun personality! She gets 5 stars. The 3 stars is for pricing (very expensive, primarily for bridesmaids) and the hairstylist. April although talented, doesn’t listen to what is being asked. Upon meeting her for the trial, really set the tone before even saying hello, what the expectations would be if it rained. This should have been a sign she was going to make elective decisions on her own, and I regret not standing my ground a bit more in what I wanted. I told her that at no point if it did rain, would we be outside. Humidity will do its thing so I would rather my hair be how I want it since I am the one who knows my own hair best. I requested a half up half down style with braids but with most of the hair still being down. After a second trial April achieves exactly what I envisioned and more! It was truly beautiful. However, the day of, I could tell she put significantly more hair up (which is not what I wanted or asked) and although it was beautiful at first, the humidity of the day made the down parts of my hair look thin and straggley within in just 2 hours and I was so disappointed. Had she listened to what I had asked, with more hair being down, my hair would have been more natural and full looking and I then wouldn’t have been as bothered by the humidity affects. Overall, they are a good team and lots of us were very pleased especially with the makeup.

Our wedding was this past April 2022 in New Buffalo and the Harvey House Team traveled to our venue and we had an amazing morning getting ready! Leading up to the event, we the hair and make-up trial and I traveled from out of state to have it done and they were so accommodating. Both Chelsea and April listened to EXACTLY how I wanted to look on my wedding day, and we even tweaked a few things on the wedding day to make the look PERFECT. My daughter set up hair and makeup for her wedding day with the ladies from Harvey House! April did my makeup, she was amazing, talented, and gave me a absolutely beautiful makeup application! Chelsea did my hair, she recommended soft curls and pinned off my face! She nailed it, so pretty and lots of compliments! I was beyond pleased with my glamorous wedding day look! Chelsea is absolutely amazing! She did a high quality job - I looked exactly how I wanted to both in person and in photos. I don't get too fancy often, so did really blended the glam of a wedding with my desire to still look natural super well. I would highly recommend her (as I've already done for a few friends)!

Chelsea, April, and Rebecca all drove to Allegan, Mi to be at my Venue The Gathering LLC. They arrived early with plenty of time to get set up and get me and my girls started right on time. They are professional, caring, personable and just overall amazing at what they do. Chelsea even doubled as my wedding planner at one point when I noticed my husband and his groomsmen were not setting up my flowers where I wanted them at the venue (Bridezilla here) she ran out while doing my makeup and made sure the guys knew where I wanted my flowers! Lol she got them right in line! My mom and mother in law could not get over how beautiful they felt after getting their hair and makeup done, the were raving about the girls at Harvey House all night long and could not stop looking at themselves in the mirror. They had me and all my bridesmaids feeling like the most gorgeous versions of ourselves and we were getting compliments the whole night. We hired them for my daughter’s wedding in Traverse City based on reviews from the Knot. This team did not disappoint!! The two ladies did hair and make up for 7 people and all of us, especially the bride were gorgeous! If i had another daughter I would hire them again and again!!! I had the world’s best experience with Chelsea and April and the entire team at Harvey House! I did a trial for my hair and make up - which I highly recommend. They worked with me on what I wanted and come the day of the wedding I knew exactly what I wanted and they were super flexible and made me look perfect! I honestly can’t say enough good things about Harvey House Salon! I don’t wear very much make up in my day to day life and usually don’t like having it done by others... until I found Chelsea! Chelsea uses the best, natural products, is extremely knowledgeable about skin care, and was able to capture exactly what I was hoping for my wedding make up trial! She also was one of the only vendors that was understanding and worked with us after having to cancel our wedding due to COVID. She is amazing at what she does, is exceptionally kind, and you can tell she really cares about her customers. I will continue to use Chelsea for any future make up/ skin care needs and even started having my hair done here!

I don’t even know if there are enough great things I can say about Harvey house. I was an unfortunate bride of covid and had to cancel my wedding and I can say the without a doubt Harvey House is the most understanding and amazing vendor I had. Not only was she genuinely supportive of our hard decision, but even through everything that is going on she gave us back our full deposit. This is something not a single other vendor we have was willing to do. From a business stand point and entering into a no refund contract we were blown away by their upstanding morals and their all around positive attitude. They have been our silver lining through this entire experience, I highly recommend using their outstanding company ❤️

My fiancé and I have been planning for our wedding for a year and a half. We put in a lot of thought and so much energy into finding the right venue and vendors to help us create the vision we had for our wedding. After a lot of asking around, reading countless reviews, and contacting numerous salons, I finally found Harvey House! I was so excited they were available for my wedding, were willing to come on-site to do hair and make-up for me, as well as for my bridal party and mother-of the-bride. Communication was great with the owner, Chelsea. My emails and messages were returned in a timely manner. Her professionalism and personal investment in my wedding was apparent. Unfortunately, COVID-19 forced salons to close and large groups were not allowed to gather. Chelsea was the first of our vendors to personally call me and express her support for us. She was very willing to try to reschedule hair and makeup trial appointments, and she was willing to work with us as our wedding plans were changing. I am ever so grateful that she reached out personally to let me know that she and the Harvey House team were invested and willing to be there to help me on my big day. The two of us rescheduled appointments in hopes of things getting better. Unfortunately, things did not return to normal and shelter-in-place rules were extended, causing my fiancé and I, to cancel our wedding. Chelsea and I spoke on the phone and she personally offered to refund all of my deposits that I had paid for my wedding. I realize that as a small business, this was a big deal. Her willingness to help, to personally reach out to me and discuss issues, and her willingness to refund all deposits goes above and beyond! Her personalized approach and genuine care for me and the situation goes unmatched! Despite my inability to personally work with Harvey House on my wedding day, I could not recommend them more!

They are so accommodating and listen to what you want, and I couldn’t of chosen any better for my hair and makeup. I highly recommend Chelsea Ausland and April Webster at Harvey House Salon in Paw Paw. They did the makeup and hair for my daughter-in-law, her bridesmaids and the mothers of the bride and groom. They were professional and fun. They made everyone feel relaxed and we all felt extremely beautiful. They made a beautiful day even better! I can’t thank them enough! We all received compliments on our make up and hair.

The Harvey House team was organized, efficient, detailed oriented, kind and fun when they handled all the hair and make up for my bridesmaids, my mother and daighter and for myself. Chelsea and April did an awesome job communicating with me and tending to every minor detail to ensure things were perfect the day of the event. We all felt like princesses! Definitely the prettiest version of our best selves. Highly recommend and will continue to use them in the future.

I reached out to this salon, and they said they had availability for me wedding. We went back and forth in several emails (checking with availability, filling out/sending the intake form). In my last email before the final contract was to be sent, they asked what location the wedding was at. I responded that we are having it near Traverse City, and they then responded they could no longer do the hair/makeup for the wedding day because they have a wedding already the next day. They were very nice through the process, but wasted a good amount of my time by telling me they first COULD do my wedding, but then they COULD NOT. They should have asked me the wedding location from the beginning. Unprofessional and wasted my time.

Chelsea and Jen are PHENOMENAL. You must use these ladies. Not only are they wizards at modern hair and make up, but they are sweet as can be and made our entire wedding party feel like queens. Even my mother and grandmother felt their absolute best, and plan to use them again. Chelsea and Jen really listened to what I asked for in my look and made the right edits from our trial to the wedding day. These ladies are pros and know the current trends as well as how to do subtle dewy classic looks. My hair and makeup stayed all day long in the MI humidity. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. You won't go wrong here.

Chelsea and April are amazing!! I knew from the moment I met them at my bridal trial that I was in excellent hands. They understood my bridal vision and executed it perfectly! They did hair and makeup for 10 ladies as well as 2 flower girls and got everyone done on schedule. Everyone loved their makeup and hair and they even pleaded the pickiest of the group 😁. Guests asked all night long who did our beautiful makeup and hair. Chelsea and April were so much fun to work with, I only wished I lived closer so I could go see them more!! After I had a make up trial failure from a different vendor, Chelsea was kind enough to squeeze me in, only two weeks before my wedding. She did an amazing job, both for the trial and the wedding. She is really nice and professional. I got lots of compliments on my make up. I can't say enough good things.

Chelsea Ausland and Jen W. (Hair) were absolutely amazing! From my trial all the way through our big day they were angels! My hair and makeup were perfect, and stayed that way through the whole night - including dancing, wind, and many tears! They were on time and stuck to schedule despite being short an assistant we had planned on having! They're so fun, sweet, and genuinely love what they do :) I wish I lived in Michigan so I could go to them all the time!

Chelsea and her team were outstanding. From coordination before my event to the final product, everything was extremely organized, prompt, beautiful and fun. The team was able to breeze through hair and makeup for me and 12 others (bridesmaids and MOB/MOG) very quickly. Everyone looked STUNNING. My makeup was such a dream but still felt very natural and stayed on perfectly all day/night (10 hours). April was wonderful with my last minute hair style changes. She listened to all my concerns and came up with the most beautiful updo that still felt loose and bohemian. Everyone's hair looked gorgeous and also stayed perfectly in place during all our outside photos and throughout the night. It was a dream to work with this studio and all these wonderful stylists. I would recommend studio 204 to everyone.

Chelsea was PHENOMENAL! Not only are her makeup skills on point, she made us all feel comfortable and relaxed. She was able to achieve everything I wanted and more and I looked amazing all day - even in 100 degree weather! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

I'm so glad I had Studio 204 do my bridal hair and makeup! Chelsea and Jen were great—I couldn't have been happier with how my makeup and hair looked on my wedding day. I felt like I still looked like me, but elegant and classic, too. And, both my hair and makeup lasted all day long! Chelsea perfectly executed my vision for how I wanted to look, and she was very accommodating to our unusual wedding schedule (Sunday morning brunch!). She always stayed in touch and was easy to communicate with, even though I booked and had my trial done many months before our wedding.

Absolutely incredible! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day thanks to Chelsea Ausland! She did a phenomenal job with my makeup. She was so helpful with my trial makeup as we tried to figure out the right wedding look for me! She really knows her stuff! Skin care is very important in her routine as she used products that were not only going to make me look better, but I felt good using them. Chelsea is always in such a great spirit and so willing to help you find what you’re looking for. Even wearing more makeup than usual, I still felt like I looked like me. She worked with my features and just enhanced what I already have! The makeup she used felt really good on my face too. I felt very comfortable in it and even hours later when we got home from our reception, it still looked amazing! If you’re looking for beautiful, professional makeup, incredible products, and a great experience, this is where you need to go!

Chelsea is AMAZING! I met with her in February for my make up trail and she spent the time with me to determine what I really liked. Then for my wedding in April she was even more amazing if that is even possible! My make up was flawless. She is by far the best make up artist around!
