Hawks Point Acres is an intimate boutique barn wedding venue in Anderson, IN, nestled in 7 acres of gorgeous tree-covered meadows. Located just 40 minutes north of downtown Indianapolis in Anderson, Indiana, it’s the perfect setting for your special day. Host up to 175 of your closest friends and family, or co-workers in our traditional gable-style barn. Your guests will appreciate both its rustic charm and modern amenities, including heat, air conditioning, and three stylish indoor restrooms. Besides the beautiful barn and tree-covered 7 acres, some of the other amenities include: three crystal chandeliers, twinkle lights, organza draping, numerous pieces of rustic décor such as wine barrels, crates, old doors, multiple wooden signs and chalkboard signs.
The bride, bridal party, and family will have use of a beautifully renovated farmhouse to get ready in and utilize during the hours leading up to the ceremony and reception. This welcoming farmhouse includes two dressing rooms for hair and makeup and getting ready. It also includes a cozy living room, kitchenette and bathroom as well. The groomsmen will have their own renovated two car garage with décor and furniture made for relaxing and having fun during those hours leading up to the ceremony and reception.
We also have a newly available overnight add-on package that can accommodate up to 6 people in our beautiful onsite farmhouse. What a fun way to be together and save money on hotel rooms before your wedding and so convenient! This overnight package also includes a 2-hour rehearsal the day before your wedding so that you can set-up and do a logistical walk-through to help calm the nerves.
Want to provide food or drink at your event? Hawks Point Acres is an open vendor and can accommodate any licensed and insured caterer or bar vendor you wish. Our base rental price is 10 hours from 1pm to 11pm and you have the option to add hours to the front of your day in order to build your ideal time table. Your rental include a venue coordinator who is there to help you navigate your day within our space. They can help with the logistics of the ceremony, decorating before your event and offer a great wealth of knowledge on what works well in our space. They love their job and are there to help you feel calm and confident in the execution of your event.
As the owner, I am invested in each and every wedding that happens at our venue. The venue was beautiful, their list of vendors they recommended were phenomenal and the wedding coordinators that were there day of ensured everything went smoothly. Truly, my expectations were exceeded and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
The venue staff was on top of anything and everything that could have went wrong and made sure it went perfect! The morning of our outside ceremony it was snowing and Missy and her team made sure sidewalks were salted and shoveled off to ensure safely of our guests. Her team stepped up and helped with opening the barn doors when we had a change of people happen. The morning of the wedding they dropped off a gift to the house for my husband and I to enjoy.
Missy and her staff was truly amazing to work with. Our day was absolutely perfect.
When we got to the venue there was a custom gift made for us, morning of there were donuts delivered to the bridal staff.
We stayed at the house the night before. For the price of what you get, you won’t find anything in comparison.
I would get married all over again (but I won’t) at Hawks Point Acres. Nothing but literal perfection.
I had many guests state they literally gasped when the doors open as they saw my father standing there, waiting to walk down the aisle.

Working with Missy and her team at Hawks Point Acres was amazing! The venue is absolutely beautiful and I love that she provides the opportunity to stay in the farmhouse overnight. When we saw that option, we jumped right on it! It allowed us to get items there the day before and not have to worry about scrambling to get things there the day of. The farmhouse provided as space to get ready and our hairstylist and makeup artist both loved the fact that there were salon chairs in the room! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a wedding or host any event, it’s affordable and well worth it! Thank you so much Missy for opening your venue to Josh and I, we thoroughly enjoyed our day!
This place is so beyond beautiful! Even though on my wedding day it was rainy and stormy, the ceremony inside was perfect. They went above and beyond to make sure all of my decorations were where they needed to be, the vendors where they needed to be and I was as comfy and not stressed. It was amazing!!
Hawks Point was PERFECT for our wedding! Missy and the venue coordinators were incredibly helpful and kind and the property was absolutely beautiful. The newly added bar on the patio was an amazing touch that allowed us to have more indoor space in the barn for tables and dancing. We loved having decor available to us at the venue that we could incorporate into our vision for how everything should look. The farmhouse was the perfect place to get ready and made life easy for our hairstylist and makeup artist. We’re so glad we chose Hawks Point!
Hawks Point Acres made our wedding day that much more magical! From the beautiful venue to the helpful staff our experience with Hawks Point was wonderful. Having the options for an outdoor ceremony and a semi-indoor reception was the perfect for what we were wanting. With the rain storm that came in halfway through our reception it was nice to be able to have our guests be inside the barn while still enjoying the barn. The staff also was kind to help guests with umbrellas to their cars and help clean up in the downpour.
We WILL recommend Hawks Point Acres to all our friends and family for future events.
Hawks Point Acres is a hidden gem! If you are looking for a rustic-eloquent themed wedding, look no further. It is a breathtaking indoor-outdoor wedding venue with a great farmhouse to get ready in. Beautiful scenery with plenty of photo opportunities on the property. The owner, Missy, was incredible to work with and helped my dream wedding come true! My husband and I highly recommend.
We loved having our wedding at Hawks Point Acres! It is a hidden gem in Anderson, IN. The property is so beautiful and well-maintained. We were so glad we found a place where we were able to have our ceremony and reception at one location. They also have a farmhouse on the property where you can get ready the day of your wedding. We loved everything about our big day and can’t thank Missy enough for all of her help!
The venue is so perfect on it's own that I was able to keep the décor at a minimum. The grounds are beautiful for an outdoor wedding - the farmhouse was awesome for myself and my party to get ready. Missy and her staff were very attentive and wonderful to work with. There were perfect areas to set up the social hour, buffet and the bar along with the DJ. The Best!
This was an amazing and beautiful venue for our wedding day. Missy was super helpful throughout the past year in making sure we had our liquor license, answering any questions I had, and making sure everything ran smoothly on wedding day. She went above and beyond what we expected and even had very helpful information on how to obtain our liquor license and when to do so. The venue coordinators were very helpful on wedding day and during set up the day before and overall the experience was amazing. I can’t wait to see the photos from my photographer! The venue was also very clean, well maintained, and so many cute spots for photos.
I LOVED everything about this place. The cottage, the scenic photoshoot opportunities, the man caves, the chandeliers. The staff was super helpful and on top of it. Missy was the best! Highly recommend this place!

I was a 2020 engaged bride who planned our wedding for May 2021! While covid was the obvious stressor, about 6 months prior to our big day I got notification that there were new owners... Out of the blue. However, Missy, one of the new owners, was very helpful and ensured me that things would be fabulous! And they were! I booked the Barn & bridal house/grooms garage from 11-11 Saturday and the barn Friday from 5-7.
The Barn at Hawks Point was absolutely amazing! The owner and staff were very polite, professional, punctual, and went out of their way to accommodate everything we needed! Our guests also told us how nice the venue was and how perfect the wedding turned out to be! Our original wedding date had to be postponed due to COVID and the owner accommodated the change in plans with no problem. I highly recommend The Barn at Hawks Point!
I had always envisioned getting married outside and by a barn. This was a dream come true for me. My family and friends couldn’t stop raving about the venue and the owners were easy and accommodating! This venue was perfect for us and I’m sure it can be for you too! I’m so happy we chose the Barn at Hawks point! We felt safe and in good hands!
The Barn at Hawks Point was everything my husband and I hoped for on our wedding day! It had the perfect rustic and romantic vibes that were coupled with the beautiful barn and amazing outdoor space. Not only did The Barn provide us with the best wedding venue, the customer service was top notch, too. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is not easy, but the staff was so helpful during the whole process that made this bride feel relieved. This barn is everything you're looking for: you can have more time or less, whatever you need and so if saving money is important to you this is great. Beautiful property!
Everything was perfect!
Can I say this venue is perfect? Cause it is. Staff were so communicative and friendly. Anytime I had a question or wanted to visit the venue before my wedding they were available. The venue itself is stunning and you don’t have to spend a ton of money on decor. They don’t force you to use a list of their preferred vendors which is nice but they do have recommendations if wanted. Tables and chairs are set up for the event which is nice to not have to hassle with. They also allow rental the night before your wedding which allowed us to have everything set up for the next day as well as go through our rehearsal. Thank you Barn at Hawks Point for making our day so memorable !
What a great place to get married! It’s so beautiful and quiet around the area. Perfect rustic barn wedding. The price was perfect for what we were looking for. Once a bonus note, a lot of barns don’t have HVAC for heat and AC and they do. As well as actual bathrooms, including a special bathroom for a bride to have plenty of room.
Hawks Point was perfect! We really wanted an outdoor space that was naturally beautiful, and from the first visit we knew that this was the place for our special day. Their assistance on the day of the wedding was very helpful because there was someone right there to answer any questions we had. Overall, I am very pleased with my choice!

Our daughter's wedding reception was flawless at the Barn at Hawks Point. The entire property and facilities were clean and well maintained. There was ample parking, and someone from the organization was always on site if we had questions. Karen and her staff are very organized and pay attention to all the details. She had a list of reputable vendors that we could use if we didn't already have someone scheduled, or if one of our vendors backed out. I have been to a few weddings and receptions at other barn types of facilities, and this was by far the best. It didn't smell musty and dirty as others did. The big doors open up, and we had a nice breeze the whole evening.
There are so many details to worry about when planning a wedding. Don't hesitate to work with Karen and her staff at the Barn at Hawks Point. They take care of the details so you can, check one of the biggest items off your list and not even worry about whether or not the venue will be nice and clean. Their calendar fills up quickly, so plan ahead. You won't regret having your celebration here!
This venue is AMAZING. Your guests will be comfortable with the indoor restrooms and plumbing, climate control, gorgeous pergola, convenient parking. The grounds gorgeous. Your guests will remember your event for years to come.
This is a really unusual wedding venue, but also very comfortable and classy.
The property was very pretty.
First off let me start by saying the grounds are beautiful and definitely a great setting for a smaller wedding like ours. We had 80 people are felt like it was the perfect size for our event.
I do have a few "cons" I would like to share....
1). You can only visit the property one date per month (always on a Sunday) for 1 hour. At the beginning this was fine, but as it got closer to the wedding date, there are so many small details to take into account that 1 hour, once a month is not ideal for this. The Sunday TWO WEEKS BEFORE MY WEDDING, my mother and I were practically pushed out because we had reached our hour limit. The mother and daughter team running this take their time very seriously (not really caring about the people who are spending quite a bit of money to rent this) and are only concerned with closing up shop at their exact specified time, not a moment after.
2). They don't open the gates early, EVER. If you have an appointment at 1:00 on a Sunday, don't show up until 1:05. They won't open the gates a few minutes before. Almost every time I or my family went there, we were sitting outside the gate until the exact time. I find this extremely unprofessional and not a great way to do business.
3). On the day of my wedding, the coordinator who was supposed to be on site was no where to be found. As we were setting up, we had several questions, but couldn't find anyone to answer them. Again, very unprofessional. The person on site should be visible in case a question needs answered. I should not have to go searching the property to find the staff.
4). If you want to schedule your rehearsal the night before, you will pay extra. They have all rehearsals scheduled for the Thursday before. Again, not ideal if you have out of town people as part of your wedding party.
Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the level of service we received and if I had to do it over again, I would not choose to have my wedding here. The grounds are beautiful, but there aren't enough positives to outweigh these negatives.
The Barn was the perfect venue for our wedding! The outside ceremony site options are gorgeous and such an easy walk to the reception barn. The Barn is absolutely beautiful inside and out and offers so many decorations, a fire pit, and outdoor area to play games/dance/etc. The owners answered my countless emails quickly and with so much patience and were so kind every time we went to visit! The price is also so much better than anywhere else we looked at! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to have our perfect day.

They helped provide us our dream wedding. The barn is absolutely beautiful. The staff is so outgoing and positive. They really show concern for what you are wanting. They give so many options and have decorations you can use. so many positive things I can say about this venue.
Absolutely beautiful venue!!! Great crew to work with. They were super helpful the day of the wedding with set up. A/C made a HUGE difference for our day. Would suggest it in a heartbeat to any bride to be!
Hope they put up more hanging room for brides/bridesmaids dresses (only one hook in bridal suite) And I wish they had a refrigerator for catering leftovers, we weren’t able to keep our leftovers unless we had a fridge to keep cool.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Barn on July 14th and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting! Staff is super at communication and answering any questions quickly. It was in the mid 90s and super hot the day of but the barn stayed relatively cool with the doors shut. We had so many compliments on how pretty the barn and property are and we were happy to find this place!
This is a gorgeous barn and property, with several different packages to choose from. Compared to most of the barns we've seen, Hawks Point is quite reasonably priced and includes A/C, indoor bathrooms and lots of other things. This is a gem!
The event was beautiful! They have a lot of restrictions (e.g. events must end early, no hard alcohol, they don’t recycle, must use their caterer options only one of which was wedding appropriate, etc.) and they offer event add-on services for a fee AFTER you sign the contract (e.g. event coordinator, chair moving, 1/2 day rental fee to rehearse the night before, etc.), which is really frustrating, but I’d recommend the location. Gentlemen’s quarters were very nice, as was the bridal suite (albeit SMALL for all the women, dresses & coming & going event staff that needed to fit). The on-duty staff and security were very nice and helpful.
All in all, we got wonderful feedback from our family and friends on the beautiful location. It’s a lovely newer barn and was the perfect setting for our small autumn wedding (fits 125, I think). Our pictures will be stunning thanks to the surroundings.
