Amber was amazing. Her level of knowledge, organization and overall ability to make our vision come to life was way beyond 5 stars. She brought ways of working that we didn’t even know we needed and in doing so made the day of smooth and flawless. During the set-up we didn’t have to participate in any decisions or last minute changes. It was all taken care of by Amber. We had a small wedding and therefore thought it would be easy to handle, but we were a little naive and increasingly grateful for the work that Amber did.

We're truly so grateful for having Amber as our day-of coordinator. Living out of town made wedding planning a little more challenging, but Amber went above and beyond by making trips to our venue and sending lots of photos/videos beforehand - something not included in her contract. This extra effort meant everything to us and helped ease our concerns about planning from a distance.
The venue looked beautiful on our wedding day thanks to Amber's careful setup and attention to detail. She coordinated with all our vendors efficiently and kept the day flowing smoothly, which allowed us to be present and enjoy our celebration without worrying about logistics.
What we particularly appreciated was Amber's kindness and how she handled everything with such care. Several family members commented on how helpful and attentive she was throughout the event. Everything went off without a hitch, which is exactly what you hope for on your wedding day.

Amber was absolutely essential to the success of our wedding weekend. My wife had a clear, creative vision for the whole celebration—Western Cocktail meets Hill Country party—and Amber immediately understood it. She didn’t just get it—she brought it to life. Every space felt intentional, stylish, and uniquely “us,” and we fully credit Amber for translating the vision into reality.
She was also incredibly responsive and proactive throughout the final weeks, especially as the weather forecast turned against us. When we had to pivot and rent a tent last-minute, it meant completely reworking our layout and schedule—including coordinating with the tent rental team and the venue owner to manage setup and teardown logistics. Amber handled all of it calmly and confidently, keeping us in the loop just enough to reassure us, but shielding us from the chaos so we could stay present.
On the night of our wedding, when a major transportation vendor failed to deliver on what was promised (a charter bus to the after-party that was incredibly late and rude), Amber was right there with us. She helped come up with a backup plan in real-time and stayed at the venue late into the night to make sure every guest and every item got to where it needed to be. Even after the wedding, she supported us in getting a refund from that vendor—something totally outside of her contract, but something she insisted on helping with.
We had a multi-day, multi-location wedding weekend, and thanks to Amber, it all felt effortless. Guests kept commenting on how smooth and joyful everything was—and the reason is Amber. She’s professional, organized, warm, and completely unflappable. Hiring her was hands-down one of the best decisions we made.
If you’re even thinking about hiring her: do it. She’s the kind of person you want in your corner on your wedding day.

Amber was invaluable to my husband and I on our wedding day. We hired her for month of/day of coordination and she went so far above and beyond. She took on confirming all of our vendors and getting their insurance info leading up to the day, she created a time line that she shared so everyone knew what was happening when. She assembled a team of rockstars who set up everything and then loaded everything back in the uhaul we rented post party. We didn't want our friends and families to have to do anything so this was awesome. Her coordination skills and coolness under pressure actually saved our wedding. We had a vendor not show up and she and her team pulled together to handle it and most guests were none the wiser. We had an incredible night, in very large part to Amber. We are forever indebted to her and highly recommend her for your event!

When our daughter said she wanted to get married on our home property we were excited and a little panicked at the same time. Our daughter is very budget conscious but we knew this was going to be bigger than her budget would allow. DIY isn't always cheaper and although we planned early (1 year out) and set up most of the details, like party/tent rentals, floral, food vendors and photographer ourselves, we really had no idea as to what the actual day of would look like and I didn't want to be a mess on the most important day of my daughters life and wanted to be able to be present and fully enjoy the day without having to deal with problems the day of. I made a command decision to look for a day of coordinator. I left messages for several and Amber at Hazel Lyn was the first and only person to call me back and I am so happy she did. Words alone cannot express how grateful we are to have found her. Her attention to detail, professionalism and a truly caring attitude speak volumes. Amber set the tone on expectations and really went above and beyond during the entire process. From answering questions, taking over contact with our vendors, providing a venue (our property) diagram, meeting several times with the bride and groom, going over shot lists for the photographer so nothing was left out, providing invaluable advice, to being hidden in the background the day of handling a multitude of tasks and the occasional mishaps. Amber provided guidance and a walk-thru of the rehearsal and made sure we stuck to the itinerary she had prepared for the day of. Amber truly loves what she does and it shows. This is one item I would highly recommend NOT skipping if you are planning a DIY wedding. There is NO WAY we could have done this let alone been able to enjoy our daughters wedding without Amber and Hazel Lyn Events. If you are a Bride or a parent, trust me this is worth every penny!!! Our sincerest thanks to Amber.

We cannot thank Amber enough for all of the incredible work she did to help make our wedding day so perfect! She made the whole entire day so seamless, we didn’t have to worry about out a single thing. There were so many things that came up on the day-of that she was able to easily adjust to — I wanted to record the ceremony on my phone since we didn’t have a videographer, and she made it happen. And we wanted to add my father-in-law to the speech list at the last minute, and she made it happen without a problem! Amber was hands down the best vendor that we had at our wedding. We would highly recommend her to be anyone’s coordinator!!!

Amber, of hazellynevents.com was our Wedding Coordinator for our daughter's wedding on 9/28/24. Amber was absolutely amazing in her poise and grace in handling the derails leading up to the wedding. She dealt with the overwhelming logistics involved in an event such as ours. She took over vendor contracts and interfaced with them with professionalism, ensuring all went smooth on our big day. But it was the actual wedding day where Amber shone! She was always 2 steps ahead of whatever issues arose (and there Is always an issue!) and, again, took care of everything including soothing the frazzled nerves of the bride. Amber exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend her services to your wedding day!

I cannot emphasize enough how invaluable Amber was after we hired her as the day-of coordinator for my wedding. She immediately jumped into action and was so helpful, so warm and approachable, and so knowledgeable. She was so supportive on my wedding day, and even helped calm some nerves and solve some minor problems before the ceremony. During the ceremony and reception, she was attentive and on top of every small and large detail, somehow while simultaneously being attentive to me and my husband. The day ran smoother than I thought was possible. She periodically checked in with us throughout the reception, subtlety instructed us, and advocated for our needs. At the end of the reception she was able to creatively problem solve a vendor/transportation issue with such confidence and ease and quite literally saved the night. My wedding went so smoothly and my husband and I had such a good time because Amber took care of the rest. My sister will most likely be hiring her for her wedding next because she did such an amazing job with mine! This woman is so incredibly talented at what she does.

Amber made our wedding day dreams come true! We picked a venue for our micro wedding but did not know where to begin with vendors. We had a smaller budget, but still wanted a chic evening ceremony and dinner for our guests.
Amber understood our inspiration and helped us focus on the right things to stay in budget. With the partial planning service, we met monthly and she brought vendors for our selection. We were very impressed with the quality of vendors she found, especially for food, flowers, and photography - we got many compliments from our guests too! We really appreciated her expertise, knowledge, and eye for details and taste - that made planning a breeze for us!
Amber was very responsive and available during planning and was a great fit for us as a couple. She sent us reminders as needed and worked directly with the venue manager and vendors for us. On the day of, she pulled everything together and made it a beautiful day that we could actually enjoy. She went above and beyond, even letting us borrow some of her decor she'd collected from other weddings and returned our linens for us. Highly recommend!

Amber was our Day Coordinator for our daughter's wedding (Christine Esparza). From the minute she got there, things got rolling much faster to get everything ready for the day. Since our first conversation via phone, Amber presented herself very professional and super friendly, great ideas, the dos and don'ts we received from her when trying to organize the venue. Always on top of things from the beginning to the end. Amber was on top of things during the rehearsal, ceremony and reception. If an issue occur she would come directly to me to discuss and resolve. I received a lot of compliments from our guests regarding Amber and how everything just went so smoothly and on time. She even stayed up to the last minute when everything was stored and put away from the venue. We had a fantastic wedding and would highly refer her to anyone.

We hired Amber to coordinate our wedding at The Wildflower Barn in June. We're so glad we did! She was so detailed from the start and worked with us months before she took over all of the vendor communication. She knows other vendors as well and received high praise from them.
Amber handled everything when we had a loss in our family and did such a wonderful job the day of.

Absolutely amazing. This is our first time using an event coordinator before--but Amber really set the highest standard and exceeded expectations.
She organizes in a very thoughtful way, we were able to understand and follow everything at a quick glance. Which is important for us because we are very busy with work.
Amber was awesome with our vendors. Once we provided our vendors she took lead to get all the paperwork that was required between them and our venue.
Amber kept delivering great service on our wedding day too. Our alcohol delivery was lost and she physically got into her car and went to go find and retrieved them for us. Throughout the day she came to us with solutions and suggestions that made our wedding day go smoothly.
I highly recommend her and her services.
