Courtney and Rachel were amazing from start to finish! Their staff was also extremely professional, courteous, and kind. The bartenders were a huge help, as well, since we only had...
to arrange the event license.
Logistically, the team was flexible in their set up following a sudden change in weather and was considerate in including dietary options (garlic, onion, pork, and dairy selections noted and gluten free options available).
We are still getting waves of compliments on how flavorful every single dish was - which I will credit to their wonderful chef and the host of local ingredients they selected.
Could not recommend HazelBea Catering enough!
Hazelbea did a wonderful job catering our wedding. Our guests said wonderful things about the majority of the food. They punctual and professional at the event. Food was clearly la...
beled for guests with dietary restrictions. We planned our wedding from the other side of the country, and so were limited in the times we could visit them for a tasting. They made a tasting work during an inconvenient time for them by hosting us in the home of one of their staff.
Overall, I recommend. I only gave four stars, however, because email communication prior to the wedding was very difficult. I found I had to reach out multiple times to get a response. This caused unnecessary planning stress. Also, the salmon (one of our entrees) at the tasting was melt-in-your-mouth amazing, but when served at the wedding it was quite dry, and stayed largely untouched by guests. Tasting quality should definitely reflect wedding quality. No complaints about any of the other food.
WOW our food was amazing!!! Hazelbea worked with us to make the food at our wedding everything we ever wanted!! We had all sorts of stations with different types of food, and every...
one told us that they absolutely loved all of it!! The mac n cheese bar was a huge hit, and they even worked with us to make a logistically difficult caramel apple bar become a reality!!! All their staff were courteous and efficient, and the bartenders were great. People are STILL talking about the chicken and waffles apps we had two months later! Seriously, can’t recommend Hazelbea enough!!!
We were very happy to have HazelBea cater our wedding. We were able to customize our menu based on our tastes and every guest we had loved the food. The staff was extremely friendl...
y and helpful; we wanted to have cupcakes for dessert that we bought separately, and the staff was happy to take them and arrange them beautifully for us. We had a casual outdoor wedding in a very rural area, but the remote location didn't phase the staff one bit. Very accommodating!
I was worried with having an out of state wedding finding good quality vendors. We were lucky enough to have HazelBea recommended to use by a family friend.

out how happy we were with HazelBea! They catered both my bridal brunch and wedding reception. Rachel was so patient with my family and I and all of our opinions on the food at our first meeting, and the few changes we had after. She was able to come up with creative options within our budget to help us get the quality of food we were going for. We made a custom menu working with Rachel it was really important to me to have unique food unlike your typical wedding food with a southern flare and boy did they deliver! The food was great, and the service was phenomenal! We were able to purchase our own alcohol and have them provide the bartenders which was a huge plus for our budget. All of our guest talked about how much they enjoyed the food and I just can’t say enough good things about how it turned out.
Rachel and her team at Hazelbea were absolutely amazing. We went with a low-country theme for our food and loved every single thing about it (pork ribs, chicken bog, brussels sprou...
ts, and mashed potatoes for the rehearsal; shrimp and grits, pork loin, mac n cheese, and green beans for the wedding). We honeymooned in Charleston and HazelBea's food was seriously better than our meals in the actual low country.
In addition to the amazing food, HazelBea's service was impeccable. We planned an outdoor ceremony and thunderstorms came through right as we were supposed to start. The Hazelbea team rolled with the punches and started cocktail hour early so that our guests could wait under the tent with food and alcohol while we waited out the storm. They made sure to bring in drinks and food for the wedding party while we waited to get started, so we didn't miss out on the amazing cocktail hour snacks. The team helped my family move tables and chairs in from the rain, helped clean up spills on the dance floor, plus numerous other things that we didn't expect them to help with but truly appreciated. We even got a to-go bag from them as we got into our car at the end of the night.
I could not be happier with our experience with HazelBea Catering and will be recommending them to anyone and everyone in the future. The food was perfect and the team was so amazing and accommodating. They helped our wedding go smoothly and made sure everyone had what they needed, despite the rain trying to cause chaos.
We had HazelBea cater our daughter's graduation party. We do not live in the area and were nervous about picking a caterer without a personal recommendation. We were delighted with...
the quality of the food and the service of those who delivered it to our rental house. I can not say enough about how delicious the food was. All of our guests commented on how good all of the food was, especially the pulled pork barbecue. The hummus and guacamole were some of the best I have ever had. HazelBea will be happy to know some of our local guests took contact information for their future reference. All in all, food and service was outstanding. I highly recommend HazelBea!
We were very disappointed with HazelBea. Below are just a few of the problems we had with this company. The food served at our reception was embarrassing and was not remotely repre...
sentative of the food served at our tasting. We also expressed that we had some guests with dietary restrictions and were assured that food would be provided for them. That never happened, meaning we had guests that didn't get to eat. On top of everything, the caterer herself, didn't show up to the event and tried to bill us for extra people and services beyond the scope of our contract then blamed us when we discussed these issues with her. Do not hire this company.

They really cared and put extra effort into making our wedding special. The whole team gets 5 stars. Extra special shout out to our bartenders who were the hit of the wedding! They all far exceeded our expectations.
