e, and continue to be, unprecedented times we are living in and in most cases we have seen the best in our vendors; unfortunately HD Liquid Catering was not one of them. Not only was this situation hugely devastating after a year of planning while completely out of our control, it put a financial burden on us. When I reached out to HDLC, they refused to refund us and said we could use our investment as a “credit” for another event in the future (we had followed procedure and already paid in full) The refusal for refund, or even partial refund, was due to the fact that we did not cancel in the timeframe written in the contract. I find it very hard to believe it would be a hardship for this company to ensure a refund, whether full or partial, be given considering the circumstances were completely out of our control. We do not have a need for any event of that size any time in the future. I would have loved to have given this company a great review as they came highly recommended, unfortunately our experience does not warrant that. To make money for no service in the middle of a pandemic is unconscionable.

very smooth on our big day! Our signature drinks were great! Highly recommend this team! We brought our own alcohol for them to use and it went very smoothly. Hindsight, we would have just purchased it through them so we didn't have another to-do on our weddding day. Can't recommend them enough!

They even moved the bar setup from our cocktail hour location to our reception space without any issues. With all of our date changes, and worrying about being able to keep out vendors, we never had to worry about HD Liquid Catering showing up. The bartenders were friendly and helpful to all of our guests, and always made sure we had a drink in our hand.

I special requested to not have a traditional bar front but rather have drinks served to person. They nailed it! Each bartender took such great care of every guest. The drinks were DELICIOUS. No one had to wait for anything. Each detail was handled with care. HD did everything with excellence. They went above and beyond and made our night so special. We are so grateful to have had them celebrate our wedding with us! I can only give the highest compliments! We know our wedding wouldn't have been the same without them. Thank you HD Team! They even helped load our cars up with any leftovers after the evening ended. Bonnie and Brooke were a pleasure to work with on the front end. They were helpful and responsive.

orking with Bonnie for about 2wk when we asked if HD would accept a margarita recipe from our favorite Tex-Mex place (they were catering our event). She told us yes, so we put her into contact with our caterer. A week goes by, we hear nothing. The 2nd week, we contact both HD and the caterer, separately, to ask what's going on. They both say the other is not responding. We address it with both (we're not sure who's lying), and wait another week. Finally, on the third week our caterer calls, very upset and apologetic because she truly had been trying to get into contact with this woman, but she can't. So, she calls Bonnie's supervisor who doesn't seem all that surprised that Bonnie isn't answering. Her supervisor tells us that they cannot accept outside recipes. This would have been fine if we hadn't wasted almost 4 weeks! Bonnie never addressed or apologized for her behavior even when confronted. During COVID-19, my husband and I had to cancel our wedding 2wk before which was traumatic enough. We had paid HD in full and months early (full payment is required 1wk before the event). I am told by Cylie that I'm only eligible for 25% because I didn't cancel 30 days prior to my event, and we had already paid in full. I'm sorry, I didn't cancel my wedding during a global pandemic at a convenient time for you. I pointed out that we had paid in full early, so I wanted that money back. Cylie refused, so I called and said "So, your clients are being punished for paying in advance?" After what you can imagine was a very brief discussion, I received a very long email how HD was doing us a favor by refunding us 65% because we had paid in full and hadn't cancelled in time. Don't work with these people, and, if you have to, do NOT pay in full early.

rriage. It was heartbreaking. We shared our story and pressed pause on our plans, unsure if we were up to the challenge of planning a wedding in Texas as a gay couple. We were not prepared to come out to every one of our vendors and hope that they would accept us. One of the many vendors that heard our story and jumped to our defense was Don at HD Liquid Catering. He was upset at what had happened to us and wanted to do something to help make it right and offered to donate free wine and beer for 200 guests for our wedding reception. We were blown away! They didn't have to do that, we were complete strangers and they are one of the best bar catering companies in Dallas, but they wanted to do it to show that they are committed to equality and they understand that everyone deserves love. They are more than just talented bartenders and beverage caterers, they are amazing people. We know that there are plenty of bar catering companies out there that you can hire for your wedding but if it is important for you to support a company that not only welcomes but celebrates all couples (and their guests) then please give HD Liquid Catering a look. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

a couple groans that a couple people got cutoff, but I understand they need to be careful about drinking and driving, not to mention we had an off duty officer and the venue owners there so they just have to keep safety in mind, they didn’t cut me off, or my groom. I would recommend this company! We did the mixer package and we supplied our own alcohol, the package included a lot!

our own alcohol and beverages, then HD showed up early and setup both of our bars (we had one outside for cocktail hour and one inside for the reception). They setup and manned both bars, kept our guests happy, and cleaned everything up afterwards. I really didn't have to worry or lift a finger when it came to the bars because HD had it covered. We've recommended HD to our fellow engaged friends and we'll continue recommending them to others!

coffee and hot chocolate bar that was so cute. Guests loved having the hot beverages on that cold January morning. Our bar staff were fun, personable, and professional. I really want to commend them for doing the right thing 100% of the time. One of my underage guests tried to pull a fast one on them and order a drink, but they refused to serve her. While she was put out by that, I really loved their commitment to their professional expectations. I would 100% recommend HD to anyone wanting awesome bar and beverage services. If you want someone who is not awesome, look elsewhere.

price that didn’t completely shock me and seemed reasonable. They did an amazing job preparing the bar area then making our two signature cocktails for our cocktail hour, then adding in beer and wine for the rest of the night. The bar area was kept clean, drinks were provided quickly, and the bartenders were friendly and professional. It was also so helpful that they could provide wine glass and rocks glass rentals for the evening. They are a one stop shop for your bartending needs. Everything was wonderful - the service was fantastic and flawless.
