They also had a great selection of bridesmaid dresses and she was honest with us and guided us when we were unsure of decisions. Overall, hearts for you is wonderful!

I had the most amazing experience with this bridal salon and am so glad I didn't look anywhere else! They have an amazing variety of wedding dresses, mom's dresses and bridesmaid dresses.

ress. At my first & second fitting I was concerned about the top being too big - my bust. I'm barely a B cup. I expressed my concern & on the second fitting she had added cups. Third fitting, I didn't feel 100% about the alterations but went against my gut & believed the seamstress when she said it needed to be steamed & the dress would fit me more properly.. Wish I knew better. Fast forward my wedding day, my dress on top was so big & there was nothing I could do about it. I look back at the photos now & one area where it was sewn to "form my bust" better is totally noticeable in almost every photo from the left angle. I hate looking back at those beautiful photos because the imperfection on the dress is undeniably presentable. This makes me so sad considering my dress was $1500 & alterations $675. To make matters worse, my dress had a pin left over from alterations that drew blood the first time I sat. I was head over heels in love with my dress up until the moment I put it on & it wasn't a perfect fit, even after it was steamed. Such bull! Go with your gut ladies! Learn from my mistake. If I had to do it again, I would go back for the same dress, but definitely not go there for alterations.

BAD REVIEWS. I am a easy going person and it takes a lot to get me upset and mad. I walked in and found the perfect dress. It fit me perfectly. The girl who helped me was amazing but she no longer is there. I got all my bridesmaids dresses there too. I want to advise the brides to ALWAYS ORDER A SIZE UP in this place. They measure WRONG. To be honest it almost seems like they measure wrong on purpose to make money. My dress didn't fit when I came in for fitting and they had the nerve to tell me I gained weight and to come back when I lose it. I loved my dress so much I decided to talk to manager and I took floor model that fit me perfectly. My bridesmaid dresses were way to big and one of them is too small! NEGATIVE THINGS: They told me they can ship the dresses to my bridesmaids but then when they came in I was told "we don't ship" why was I told they could be shipped? my appointment for a fitting was not in schedule when I walked in. They are rude and not organized at all. I just stuck it out cause i loved my dress. They is plenty more but if you go please order a size up to be safe and don't get alterations there. Take it and RUN! I am happy that I took the floor model it looks new and amazing. I told the manager my story and she said "oh yes you can have the floor model it happens all the time" REALLY! customer service sucks! and even the alteration ladies are all over the place.

e I was looking for. She was patient, kind, and so helpful throughout the whole process. She wanted to make sure that I was completely confident and thrilled with the dress I choose. I liked attributes of 2 different dresses, and Maryanne had someone from alterations walk me through some options to customize one of the dresses to be exactly what I was looking for. I can't say enough about how wonderful Maryanne was. I highly recommend shopping for your bridal gown here. The dressing rooms in the store are beautiful, their prices are excellent, and the staff is fabulous! Thanks Maryanne!

tyle I was originally looking for, but she encouraged me to try it and it was absolutely THE DRESS! I was thrilled. My bridesmaids also got their beautiful dresses at Hearts for You. Unfortunately, we had a few issues from there. When the bridesmaid dresses came in, I made an appointment for a few girls to come together to pick up their dresses. When I called on the day of our appointment to confirm, they did not have our appointment in the book and I was informed that they switched to winter hours. We could still come at the time I scheduled (an hour before "winter hours" closing) but it "has to be quick." When we got there, they seemed irritated that we were there and told me they were closing a half hour earlier than they had said on the phone! The lights were turned off while we were still gathering our things and we were rushed out the door which quite literally locked right behind us. This was in November and there was nothing on their website about winter hours. When my dress came in, it was tight, and the person who put it on me (unfortunately I can't recall her name) acted like it was a huge problem and all my fault. She made a big show of reminding me that I signed off on the size that I chose. I told her that I knew exactly what I ordered and was confident that alterations would be no problem (I discussed all of these details with Cyd when I bought the dress). She kept telling me that SHE would have insisted that I order a bigger size and that alterations would be extremely difficult and that I needed to call RIGHT AWAY to schedule an appointment with the seamstress because it would require many many fittings. She also made snarky comments about it being so heavy and cumbersome and complained that it would take forever to steam (it's a ball gown). My experience was so stressful that I took my dress out of there the next day and brought it to a different seamstress where I had a lovely experience with my alterations. I didn't even need extra fabric. Everyone we encountered had a "tell it like it is" attitude which I found endearing at first, but bothered me as time went on. My bridesmaids told me later that they received some snide comments from employees as well (about their weight, bust size, etc.). Nothing too horrible, but not very professional. If you're looking for a little TLC, this is not the place for you.

reat since I had no idea what I wanted and it was my very first appt. Juanwisa (I hope I spelled her name right) was my seamstress and also did an incredible job. I had lost a lot of weight between the time I ordered the dress and before the wedding. She completely tailored it to my new body and it fit like a glove. Every person working there is so sweet and friendly and willing to help, and there is always someone who answers the phone!! So happy I went with hearts for you for my bridal experience!

pointment and it went all down hill from there. Mariana was the seamstress assigned to perform my dress alterations. On our first appointment she was very sweet, complimentary and initially gave us no reason to concern. There were a few modifications that had to be made but she seemed to think it wouldn’t be a problem. They charged us one flat rate of $600.00 which we felt was a little steep but agreed to. We had over 4 appointments, all of which Mariana was always almost an hour late to, and the work she promised was never completed. Due to her cancelling an appointment the week before my wedding, I was left to pick up my "finished" dress the Tuesday (just 4 days) before my wedding. By the time we tried the dress on, we were already frustrated. There were little drops of blood all over the skirt of the dress, and it was completely wrinkled. I kept making comments about how the length didn’t seem right, but she ensured us that it would be “fine once its properly steamed”—it was ALREADY supposed to be steamed. Mariana was becoming very curt and defensive with my mom, making comments about how it was “our fault” she got blood on the dress, and that “we look too closely”. She had us wait another HOUR to steam the dress, it was still completely wrinkled and she promised us “they will fall out”. We hung the dress up just as they said, overnight- Wednesday morning it was still completely wrinkled. We had to take it back again, the sales associate was also unhappy with the condition of the dress, agreed to keep it overnight and steam it again. Thursday, we picked up the dress and took it home- I tried it on at home, they did not have me try it again at the store. Only to realize that now the dress (which is a scalloped lace on the bottom) was 2 inches on the floor. We called the store back, beyond frustrated and defeated. They were accommodating enough to have us back in that day, and assign another seamstress to take inches off my dress OVERNIGHT. The seamstress said the entire previous hem job was uneven and a lot more work than anyone typically does in that short amount of time. Long story short- I was left picking up my dress the day before the wedding, afraid it would be too long. It did end up coming out right but the stress leading up to that moment was unfair. I would not recommend going through that store- TO ANYONE. They assured us that Mariana would no longer be working there, but we saw her with another customer the day we picked up my dress. Maybe, just using the store to pick out and buy the dress, but I would never recommend using them for alterations. Even though everyone else in the store was sweet, and tried to accommodate us- this situation should have been completely avoided. Better accountability should be had by the store owner when choosing people to contract through her store for bridal dress alterations.

Everyone there is warm and accommodating, and the owner, Lisa, and her staff, especially Maryann and Syd, were always a pleasure to work with. All the staff at Hearts for You, including seamstress Marianna, go above and beyond to help brides and their loved ones to look and feel their very best for the big day. I recommend them to all brides to be and their mothers, you will not be disappointed.

I tried on about five dresses before I found one that I fell in love with, a Maggie Sottero Melanie. Over the subsequent months I looked forward to returning for each of my three alterations. not even anything so little as " I'll be with you shortly". When we were finally greeted they could not grasp what our appointment was for and kept getting us mixed up with other appointments. Her excuse was that it was super busy because it was a Saturday. While I do understand, what is he point of making an appointment if you are going to help everyone else and take walk ins when we should have had priority. Everyone's attitude completely turned us off towards purchasing anything from them, but my mother saw a dress she wanted to try on. After trying it on my mother asked the price FIVE times before the woman gave us a straight answer. She had the audacity to tell my mother "does it really matter what the price is, you get what you pay for unlike at places like David's bridal". Well, my bridesmaids ended up purchasing their dresses from DB and everything has been amazing. I had also purchased my gown at a different place a few weeks before hand and they were actually trying to talk me into returning it and purchasing one from them because everyone would get a discount. Hearts for You had the worst customer service I have experienced on my wedding journey. I would not refer anyone to shop here.

I love how she let me go through the racks with her and let me play an active part in deciding what dresses to try on. In the end, she saved the best for last (like a pro) and I fell completely in love and left with the perfect dress and the greatest memories that will last a lifetime.

Marie, Lisa and the rest of the staff were great! They made me feel like family!. Gina did a wonderful job on the alterations.. the dress fit perfectly! I would recommend Hearts For You to everyone I know. My mom also got her dress from Hearts For You... and it was perfect from the very beginning!

to the feedback I gave when stating what I liked and disliked about the dresses I was trying on; we did discuss the budget for the dress a bit late, but I still came in under budget and never felt that they were forcing me to the top of the budget. Compared to other stores, I know the bridesmaid dresses were more affordable. My original bridesmaid dress experience was not the greatest; I handed the consultant a list of the dresses I wanted to see and she told me to go look on the rack. She didn't pull any of the dresses I asked for and I felt frustrated. I called and told the manager, Lisa, about it and she had me send an email with the dresses I still wanted to try and scheduled a second appointment. I immediately chose a bridesmaid dress when I had the structure I needed. My fittings were exceptional! Especially since I had to order a size 16 (I'm an 8) inorder to replace a corset back with a zipper. The seamstress, Lydia, is a miracle worker; my dress was practically custom made. I couldn't have asked for a better dress shopping experience with a team that really took great care of me.

Mary Ann with a desperate plea to help me find an off the rack dress. Not only did she deliver but the dress she found for me was even more gorgeous than the original I got from the other boutique. It was so amazing that Mary Ann was able to work with me in the crazy turn around time and Syd was so incredible as well. These two women turned a stressed and gown-less bride into the luckiest girl with the most stunning dress. As my proportions are very unusual with a very large bust and a tiny waist, it made the dress hunt seem impossible. Mary Ann found my dream dress that would work with my body type and recommended their star seamstress, Gina, who made miracles and got the dress to fit perfectly to me. They even found an old dress that they donated just so that the seamstress could use the fabric to create more coverage for my bust on the new dress since it had similar lace. The results.. Gorgeous. Hearts for You truly helped me in every way possible and without them I would not have felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. I'm just sorry I only have a limit of 5 stars to rate this place. Unbelievable! They are truly the most wonderful people and such a warm and inviting bridal boutique!

on the dress that I was pretty sure that I was going to pick twice before committing on the third visit. They completely understood that I wanted my grandmother to be there when I said "yes to my dress" and that I was in the process of losing weight and I wanted to order a smaller size. I worked the most with Bonnie but all of the employees are lovely. I also ordered my bridesmaids dresses here which was an easy process. Lydia was the seamstress that I used and I was thrilled with the results. Overall, my dress and my bridesmaids dresses were perfect and I felt like a princess!!

ong with every one of my EIGHT bridesmaid dresses. How can you screw up that many dresses? And the best part is they blame it on everyone and anyone else they can, they take no responsibility for anything. I don't know how they made it this far. Their customer service is horrendous, you'll be waiting a long time just to get anyone's attention. My best advice is to take your money elsewhere before wasting your time and money here on alterations due to their ignorance.

f. I love this store and felt well taken care of - just something to keep in mind they are a little disorganized when it comes to scheduling fittings for your dress. Just make sure that you are very clear about when you’re scheduled and what you’re having done at each appointment. They’re all very nice but I got the sense that things can be chaotic at times and if you’re not on top of it small details could slip through the cracks. You can always go straight to Lydia's (the seamstress) shop directly if you can’t work it out there.

The seamstress Lydia however, totally messed up my sister's bridesmaid dress, to the point that my sister had to purchase a floor sample ONE WEEK before my wedding! Go to Hearts for You....but use another seamstress.

riends of mine through the whole process, and went above and beyond my expectations. I ordered a belt in may for an august wedding. I was sad to find out that it would take to long to get the belt in stock. I received a phone call telling me that the store owner opted to pay to expedite the shipment of the belt.

n only wear it once. The seamstress they have on site is good but a little pricey. Pleases make sure if there are any other alterations being made you inspect it because I did not. Everything fit awesome in the bust and bodice. The front did get hemmed to where I needed and she did take all the extra tulling out so I felt more comfortable. My only problem was with the train. When it was bustled in it still trained out a little bit because when the length was taken up she didn't take it up there after she told me she would. I had to use safety pins to pin it up under my dress at the reception so people would stop stepping on my dress. Try to find a different seamstress but definitely go to buy your dress there.

ce I purchased my gown and began my fittings, I rarely saw Cyd again and the other consultants were clueless. The in-house seamstress, Lidia (or possibly Lydia), was horrendous. I had my "final" fitting scheduled at 10am and she made me wait for over an hour while she tended to someone's bridesmaid. When she finally did meet with me, she blamed me for the wait saying I missed my appointment. This was not only untrue and offensive, but unlikely since I never received a phone call about this "missed" appointment. Any way, the dress was waaaay too short and she insisted I had changed my shoes or added a slip when, in fact, I had been bringing the same shoes since before my first fitting and had the same slip for the duration of my length fittings. There were also blood spots on the back of my dress. My mother brought all of this to the attention of the shop owner and not much was done, other than a few apologies from her, but never from the seamstress. I was however assured by the seamstress that the length would be adjusted and the blood stains removed. Upon my second "final" fitting, there were even more blood stains. Again, I was assured they would be removed when the dress was steamed. When I picked up my dress, the blood stains were still there along with ever more!!! Cyd even began to argue with my mother over the condition of the dress, stating that "in the real world, nothing is perfect." Which is true, but you NEVER tell a customer that. I should note that the seamstress does not work for Hearts for You, she is her own entity, however, Hearts for You lets her work out of their store and recommends her services for dresses purchased in their store. They should be more concerned with their client's experiences with her, however, they appeared to care less. My entire wedding planning process was relaxed and calm until I entered Heart for You for my fittings. I am saddened that they ruined my one and only wedding dress shopping experience and hope others had a better experience.

my fittings there that was done by two outside alterations ladies. They were wonderful and did an excellent job, but the three times that I went for my fittings, it was supposed to be during hours where the store was closed so it would be quieter. This was far from the case, as there were several other girls getting fittings and some people there looking for dresses. The lady doing my alterations had to run back and forth between me and a few other girls just so that she could manage the people that Hearts for You had scheduled at that time. It didn't make any sense to have scheduled that many people at the same time. It was hectic and took away from the experience as it happened all three times I scheduled fittings which were all different times and days of the week. In the end, I was very happy with my dress and the alterations were done to perfection, I just wish the experience could have been a little bit better.

cide which way I wanted to go. I went back a second time & saved my favorite dress from the first trip for last. I put the next to last dress on - it was a ballgown with a dropped waist & was in love... Denise reminded me that when we first met I told her how I did NOT want a big dress, that I wanted to be comfortable & dance the night away. So I put my origional favorite on & everyone that I brought with me agreed that this was the dress for me. I stuck with my favorite from the first visit - a fit & flare that really showed off my shape perfectly with enough poof on the bottom to satisfy my love for a little touch of ballgown. The dress was a Mori Lee & it came in much faster than they figured it would. They did NOT try to order me a dress that was too big for me (a lot of places seem to do this so that the seamstress makes $). The seamstress there was average in $, but she made sure my dress was perfect & would not settle for less. The week before my wedding - at my final fitting - I asked her to tighten the corset more, but she could not w/o it buckling. She took the sides in for me for NO additional charge. The owner Syd is lovely & makes you feel at home. We also bought my mother's & the bridesmaid dresses there. BM dresses were Impression Bridal - two styles & I forget my mother's dress brand. All were came in with plenty of time - were gorgeous & fit well. Most only needed cups put in. I highly recommend this store for your bridal dress needs.

both of those experiences were discouraging. As a new bride in my 40s, I felt as though the other shops were designed for younger women and the people working in those shops were perhaps more interested in working with younger women? I had a completely different and positive experience within moments of entering Hearts For You. There were so many dresses, especially given the smaller size of the shop. I became excited to find a wedding dress for the first time as I poured through the racks. The shop was crowded on this Saturday and they didn’t have anyone to help me try on dresses. They suggested that I come back the next day when the shop opened at noon but I lived about four hours away and would be leaving much earlier. One of the saleswomen, Sid, offered to open the shop early on Sunday to spend two hours with me to try on dresses. The next day my Mom and girlfriend and I showed up for Sid to open the store and I found “the dress”. Sid was such a delight to work with. She was tireless and effusive, offering advice and honest review of the dresses. Such a warm and lovely woman, we all felt like we were with one of our friends in about five minutes with her. I bought my dream dress from Hearts For You and each experience with the shop was positive and wonderful. They made me feel very special and I never felt as though my dress wouldn’t be exactly as expected. I worked with their seamstress, Rusmaria and she was also very kind an accommodating. I ended up going for three fittings as I had asked to have the train removed from my dress for my ceremony on the beach. The cost for her services was a little high but in the end I was glad that I worked with her given the ease of meeting her at the shop and the high quality of her work. When I picked up my dress, everyone at the shop was excited for me. I look forward to getting my pictures back so that I can return to Hearts For You and share them with my new friends. I highly recommend Hearts For You to any woman who wants a huge selection, kind and wonderful women to work with and an overall positive experience in your search for the dress.

, you must tell the seamstress what each bridesmaid needs done, and be very specific. My girls had a train on their gown, and the seamstress hemmed my Maid of Honor's dress without asking if we wanted the train...so she chopped it off!!! I was very upset about this. They would not take blame for anything. If it were up to me I would have a record of the bridal party and what needs to be done, but they don't work like that. Luckily it was not very noticeable because the train was not that long. Also, they are not staffed well and every time I went in for my appointment I had to wait about an hour to be seen. I felt like a nag because I kept reminding them that I was there. Overall, the dress selection is fantastic but the service is so-so.

views, and very few did. Hearts for You did have good reviews and it was close to my house. I was excited that I had a good experience when I went there. Because I was happy with my own experience, I decided to purchase the Bridesmaid’s dresses from the store as well. Unfortunately, I did not have the same results. Some of the girls went there to be fitted, and they worked with other staff members and they did not feel they were treated well. In addition, the price of the dresses kept going up for every reason possible. In the end, we decided to get the dresses elsewhere. Ultimately, we paid considerably less for them than we would have paid at Hearts for You, so it worked out anyway. I would definitely recommend Hearts for You for the wedding gown as they have a good selection of dresses without it being overwhelming. I can not personally speak for the other staff, but I had a great experience with Denise. Hearts for you was the first place I went for a dress and, after several other bad experiences, I went back. Denise was the main reason I went back to get my dress from this store.

They were extremely friendly and always willing to find an answer to our questions. The only "problem" we had was that my girls were unaware of having to pay the balance after the first fitting.

salon in tears! I had to go to another seamstress to get the dress bustled correctly. She also wouldn't even attempt to change the order for my maid of honor's dress after she lost 50 pounds, and told her the dress would be fine. It was several months before the wedding and there was ample time to change the order, but Lisa couldn't be bothered. When dress arrived, it was way too big to be altered properly and my maid of honor actually had to purchase a second dress a week before the wedding! It took a screaming match for Lisa to even offer a discount off the price of the second dress. This was after we purchased my bridal gown, two bridesmaid dresses, and three flower girl dresses at the salon. By the way, there is no discount on dresses for the rest of your bridal party if your purchase your dress at the salon and she overcharges you for all of the extras (slip, cups, etc.) Finally, the sales people were extremely rude to one of my bridesmaids who is pregnant. They didn't know how to fit her properly and suggested that she drop out of the wedding! She went to a different store that was knowledgeable about maternity and was able to get fitted just fine! PLEASE do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your wedding dress and your bridal party!!

My dress fit like a glove. The only negative on the alterations was that they were a bit expensive. Overall though, the price of my dress was fantastic. Overall a great experience. They have a great selection of dresses (as well as invitations).
