We are so incredibly grateful for Heather Farr and her team! From the very beginning, she was responsive, professional, and so easy to work with. Heather went above and beyond every step of the way—not just on the wedding day, but during the weeks leading up to it. Her attention to detail, calm presence, and organization made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. She truly made our day easy and enjoyable, and we couldn’t have done it without her. If you're looking for a coordinator who genuinely cares and delivers 110%, Heather is the one. Highly recommend!
I have previously worked with Heather, and knew when my daughter got engaged, that I needed Heather and HFE to guide us and be our month of/day of planner. My daughter was very hands on with her wedding, all while attending medical school, so Heather's assistance and insight was invaluable. With the help of Heather, Jenna and Haley, the day was perfect! Everything ran according to the timeline Heather and Meghan set, and I was able to relax and enjoy the amazing day of the wedding. Heather and her team (Heather and Shannon were our coordinators day of) are absolutely lovely to work with. Not only is Heather organized, caring, friendly, she will be your biggest hype woman! She made sure every single detail of our wedding day went perfectly. It wasn’t easy for my “type A bride” self to let others handle my day, but having Heather as my month/day of coordinator left me with absolutely no worry on wedding day! I would highly reccomend Heather Farr Events to any future brides.
Heather was the planner of our dreams! We were lucky enough to book heather and her team for month of/day of coordination at Ivy House in Milwaukee. Heather is knowledgeable, reliable, organized to a t, and truly loves her job and those she gets to do it with! It shines through in her attention to detail and her cool, calm and collected manner that was present from our initial phone call through the day of our big celebration. Being from out of state, Heather gave us pointers in securing our wedding license, tips on the weather and so much more that made planning with her a breeze. We wish we could relive the day over and over and so much of that is due to Heathers presence and how much FUN she brings to the day! What was even better was our friends and family coming up to us to mention how amazing she is in their interactions with her, and helpfulness when they were in need (advil to the rescue!). I'm the type of person who has to have everything executed perfectly and pretty much a Type A person. Having said that, my partner and I met with several of vendors, and ultimately we decided to go with Heather Farr and her team, and I am so glad we did! From the beginning to the end of our wedding, it was all executed flawlessly. Everything we wanted and how we wanted the room to be set up, they were able to execute it perfectly! Communication, Execution, Personality, Industry Knowledge - ALL 12/10. They went above and beyond of what we were expecting.
To Shannon and Jenna, thank you both for making our wedding day even more special! Without you both, I honestly don't know where we would be.
To those that are researching wedding coordinator vendors, stop, this is your sign and review to book with them!
I was willing to splurge on this service to ensure family and friends wouldn’t be tasked with doing a lot of busy work the day of. Unfortunately, the ball was dropped on so many things that had it not been for the venue, my photographers, the DJ, my family and friends, the day could have easily been a disaster. To make matters worse, they laid all of the blame on me and my guests, and then later, tried to place all the blame on my matron of honor. In fact, this was the only service I actually regretted spending money on! While it is true that many guests arrived late, it was known well in advance that the majority of our guests were traveling from at least one state away and as a seasoned wedding planner, this kind of issue should have been anticipated with contingencies in place. Additionally, some of my decorations never made it out despite cataloging each one and sending each item via email for her to easily reference. The floral arrangement for the flower girl was not placed as discussed so the flowers interfered with her dress. My mom had to track someone down in order to get the bundtini’s placed on the stand and it was so last minute that I’m not even sure photography was able to get pictures. The stand was custom made with our names and the date so this is super disappointing! Not to mention, at least 50-100 were wasted and the only reason I found this out is because I found a big cardboard box filled with disheveled bundtini’s at the end of the night. It was only then that she disclosed they had fallen on the floor. Perhaps most disappointing was the fact that neither the groomsmen nor the groom had their boutonnieres for bridal photos, and I had gotten a special pin for the groom to honor his late mother. This was something extremely sentimental and important to our day and because of her oversight, it is not in many of the pictures. This gift was a surprise to the groom during first look so he had no way of knowing. Per my bridesmaids, they wouldn’t have had their flowers either had they not thought of them themselves. My bridesmaids even remembered the boutonnieres for the guys, figuring they were safe to be given to the wedding coordinator to place on the groom and groomsmen prior to getting on the bus for pictures. Unfortunately, it is my understanding she put them on a table and none of the guys were made aware. So much money was spent on these beautiful flowers and they only last such a short time that it really was a huge oversight on her part. While I could elaborate more, the overall take away is that I do not feel as though the services I paid for were adequately provided to me. And yes, things out of their control happened, but it’s their job to properly respond to and recover from the unexpected things that inevitably arise on a wedding day. This is literally what you are paying them to do. To more fully put it into perspective, I literally had no idea she even had an assistant with her until the very end when that assistant came up to me and said she was leaving. I had seen her around, but assumed she was with the venue because she was never introduced to me. I most definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND! However, I can see how having a proficient day of coordinator can be a world of help so I’d recommend finding another company to spend your hard earned money on and avoid this one at all costs. After all, you can’t get this day or any of the moments in it back.
Heather and her team were absolutely AMAZING! Heather is extremely organized, knowledgeable, and an excellent resource for finding the perfect vendors for your big day. She made the stress of planning a wedding almost disappear!

I could not recommend Heather and her team more for your special day. We hired Heather as a wedding day coordinator and I’m so happy we did. The day of our wedding was so stress free because we did not have to worry about a thing, Heather and her team took care of it all. It was so great having someone be able to coordinate everything with our vendors the month of so we didn’t have to worry about it. And to top it off, my husband and I love Heather and think she is just a great person!!
Book Heather!!!! Heather and our team made it possible to just enjoy my day. My mom wasn't running around trying to coordinate anything and I wasn't fielding questions. I can't imagine what the wedding would have been like without her! She knows what she is doing and she is so much fun!
I had Heather working alongside of me during the whole planning process. Heather is a very professional and dedicated person who strive to give her client the best service! She recommended us the best local vendors, helped me to answer questions when I felt overwhelmed, gave me good advice when I needed. She is very into detail too which is a good trait to have as a wedding planner. Her team members are great as well. I had Shannon in my team as well. They did a fantastic job on the wedding day to coordinate everything too. The day went so fast. I could not have survived without Heather and her team. I would recommend HFE to everyone!
Heather and her team are the best in the biz! After shopping around for a wedding planner in southeast Wisconsin, this team was clearly exactly what we were looking for. They brought organization, rigor, knowledge and (most importantly) fun to every step of the process. Hiring Heather and her team for day-of coordination was the best decision we made for our wedding! They were always realistic about expectations, helpful beyond belief, extremely personable, and made us feel at ease. We had a couple of hiccups with vendors and Heather has been so helpful in helping us navigate how to reach out to those vendors afterwards to get the quality of services we paid for. I would recommend them to another Wisconsin bride in a heartbeat.
I happened to meet Heather while looking at venues, and she gave me some great tips on finding a venue. Once we nailed down our venue a few months later, it was a happy coincidence that she was the venue's recommended Month of Coordinator. She was such a great asset to have in the hectic last few weeks of wedding planning, and she made us confident that it would all come together in the end! On our actual wedding day, it can't be understated the role Heather and her team played in keeping everything on track and moving. Most importantly to my husband and I, she really took a huge burden off our plates because we weren't making sure these tables got this decoration, or the jazz band knew where to go... we just got to sit back and enjoy the best day of our lives. I really don't recall any logistics of the event because Heather and our vendor team just took the reins. The value of this is just huge - you do all the planning up front, and it takes away from the joy of the event if you are managing a schedule and vendors all night. If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator, here is your sign to DO IT and hire Heather Farr Events!
We were excited because Heather came highly recommended. When we first signed everything, we were under the impression that she would run our wedding. Then closer to the wedding other people were reaching out to us who were now the lead on our wedding and that Heather would still be at our event. For the brief window of time she was at our wedding, we felt the most hyped for our wedding day and we felt as if the people running our wedding felt the same way. Everyone was really nice but I just felt like there was just no passion in what they were doing— we were just a bit disappointed.
Pros: all vendors were contacted and followed up with, desserts were set up and they went to the hotel to get our desserts since our venue had no space for refrigeration, they went and got umbrellas when it started to rain, packed everything up.
Cons: our family approached one of them to turn the heat in the barn because it was 50 degrees in there and they were told “this is what the bride and groom wanted” yet we were never addressed and would have definitely had the heat turned on, dinner was supposed to be at 530 and I had confirmed that with both vendors, yet, the caterer came to us during our pictures to call for dinner because they were told 5 by the timeline they were given, our photographer ended up doing stuff that they were supposed to do because we couldn’t find them.
Heather Farr Events and specifically Trista, our day of coordinator, was an absolute dream come true for our wedding day. Throughout the entire process, her communication was exceptional. Her expertise and guidance were invaluable, and she kept us informed and reassured every step of the way. On the wedding day itself, she was a true superstar. She ensured that everything ran like clockwork, and her attention to detail was remarkable. From coordinating with vendors, to managing the timeline, she made sure that every aspect of our day was seamless and stress-free. Trista truly knocked it out of the park by setting up our wedding precisely the way I envisioned – everything was picture perfect. Thanks to her, we were able to relax and fully enjoy our wedding, knowing that everything was in capable hands. We can't express how grateful we are for her incredible work!

Heather Farr Events was so professional, punctual, flexible, and truly was the reason I was able to enjoy my wedding! We hired Heather and her team as our day/month of coordinator and had a meeting with her at the venue 4 weeks out along with regular email communication. Heather is a true expert and created a sense of calm in the midst of all the chaos. I feel so lucky that we had Heather and Shannon and can’t stop talking about how amazing they were!
Heather was resourceful in connecting us with quality vendors that met our high standards but also fit within our budget. She delivered the day prior - getting everything set up perfectly. Having her choreograph and direct our wedding day was invaluable.
I never would have thought I would hire a day of coordinator when I first started wedding planning, but I’m so glad that we had Heather and her assistant, Haley, as part of our day. I love organizing, so I enjoyed wedding planning, but neither my husband nor I wanted to have to worry about anything day of, and we didn’t want our family to either. I found Heather on a Brides Facebook group, and it was an amazing experience for many reasons. 1) She listened to what we were looking for on our initial phone call. She offered advice but wasn’t pushy. 2) Based on that call, she shared the packages she offered, but she also worked with us to customize a package that fit what we truly needed. 3) Heather was part of my final meeting with our venue so she could be clued in, and she and Haley completely took over contacting my vendors around a month out, even offering to contact one that wasn’t technically part of the timeline for which they were hired. It took away a lot of our stress those final weeks! 4) Day off, they truly took care of everything and made sure things flowed smoothly. They worked with my florist to decorate, and they took down and packed things up at the end of the night. My mom was prepared to take on a lot of the last minute details so that my husband and I could relax day of, and even she commented that Heather/Haley were amazing and made her feel like she could relax. This says a lot, because my mother is not a low stress lady 🤣 I found out the next day there was a bit of a snafu with my wedding cake delivery, and my mom said they just handled! They were even willing to go pick up a new cake somewhere if needed. The best part was, I didn’t know about this or have to worry about it until my mom shared it with me the next day. My husband and I truly felt taken care of, and we had a blast at our wedding. Thank you for allowing us to sit back and enjoy our day.
Heather and her assistant were AMAZING! We hired Heather for the whole event (planning before and during) and it was worth every penny. As a newer mom and someone who travels for work hiring Heather, I knew someone would catch all of the things I wasn't thinking of. The amount of stress that was lifted just knowing she was there, was fantastic. She also brought a bunch of great ideas as well. We LOVED working with her! I would highly recommend.
Heather is an absolute treasure. Her experience combined with her genuine desire to help you create the experience you want makes her such a valuable resource. She helped us flush out our vision for the day to create the wedding of our dreams and was there with us every step of the way. When it came to hotels, there was a lot of back and forth, and I can’t imagine keeping it all organized without Heather. The vendors we worked with who knew her told us she’s one of the best in the business, and she delivered 100%.

Heather is very meticulous and organized which is exactly what we needed to keep track of all the little details that made our day unique to us. From running the rehearsal to helping customize our cocktail hour design, she covered it all. It was no small task given the large wedding party to wrangle and the multiple contingency plans put together in case of inclement weather. She kept what could have been a chaotic day very peaceful. Every single detail of our day was executed seamlessly thanks to Heather. Not to mention, she is an absolute pleasure to work with and brings years of experience to an overwhelming wedding planning process.

I would highly recommend working with Heather! After I got engaged, I knew that I wanted to work with a wedding planner and so I spent a lot of time reviewing and considering the services available in Milwaukee. From my first call with Heather I knew I could trust her with our wedding. We began working with Heather in September 2022 and through the lead up to our June 2022 wedding, she was extremely communicative, supportive, and helpful throughout the process. She provided advice and guidance as issues arose and was a huge factor in alleviating any worries I had. When it came to the immediate lead up and the day of wedding, Heather was the greatest asset to making things go smoothly with minimal issues. She kept everything on schedule and was able to fix issues that arose, to the point that I wasn’t even really aware of them and wasn’t worried because I knew she would handle it. Beyond her amazing planning and execution skills, she is such a wonderful and fun person to work with! I enjoyed every meeting we had and was so grateful to have her through the process. She and her assistant, Hailey, had great, positive energy on our wedding day, and we really could feel how much the cared about the success of our wedding! I could not recommend Heather enough!

During the planning process, Heather kept us on track and organized and provided excellent insight on vendors and ideas to bring our vision to life. The day-of coordination was incredible and I felt so confident knowing that Heather and her team had everything covered. Heather is everything I wanted and more in a wedding planner - a strong network and reputation in the area, expertise on budgeting and timelines, and so much heart. We hired her for full-service coordination and for 18 months, she was committed to making our dream day come true. She’d give me a small and manageable list of tasks to tackle each month and would work with me each step of the way sourcing vendors, reviewing contracts and making decisions. I found her vendor sourcing especially helpful - I’d share what I was looking for and how much that service “mattered” to me, and she’d circle back with a proposed % of my overall budget + a few vendor recommendations. Then as the big day approached, I noticed her help and appreciated her excitement even more. She set up meetings I didn’t even know I should be having in order to ensure all our vendors were in sync. She helped me with local pick-ups since I didn’t live in the area. She took on extra tasks during our wedding weekend like ensuring all guests were abiding by our COVID safety policies. And then the day of the wedding - it was truly the best feeling in the world to know that she would take care of everything. Even when rain emerged out of nowhere 30 minutes before the ceremony, I was able to enjoy that time with my bridal party and fiance while Heather helped coordinate moving everything indoors. She handled all my day-of decor and tip distribution during the event, and she kept everyone on track and was my eyes and ears making sure the day was perfect. She and her assistant Rachel were prompt, professional and a joy to work with. I am so proud to support an independent, woman-owned business, and Heather’s work was tireless and exceptional. Heather provided significant organization, advice, and support all throughout our extended planning due to postponement. Heather provided invaluable assistance in making our wedding what it was. She is very organized and is passionate about creating the wedding her customers want. With the exception of a speaker misplacing his speech and struggling to improvise, the entire day went exactly how we wanted it. She is the person to go to!
My husband and I would 100% recommend Heather. We used Heather as our day of wedding coordinator and are SO happy we did! She was amazing to work with and was super responsive to all of our questions and needs (and many emails). She helped with vendor recommendations, setting up our timeline, contacting vendors to make sure all was right in our contracts, and most importantly was there on our big day to make sure everything went perfectly. Heather picked up our donuts (for our dessert), set them up, set up all our decor, helped swap tables for our reception, cleaned up all the decor at the end of the night, put gifts in our car, etc. Heather even ran to McDonalds for my nephews for dinner when we forgot to order kids-meals for them (they are super picky!). We never had to look at our watch or worry about our schedule on our big day -- honestly don't know what we would have done without her!
Hiring Heather Farr as our wedding planner was the best thing we did for us and our wedding! We made several hard attempts at planning it ourselves over the years and kept putting it on hold due to how overwhelming it was and impossible to get information. Hitting our heads against the wall and SO timing consuming. The moment we hired Heather it all changed for us. It went from stressful to fun! As it should be!
Heather’s experience and knowledge of the industry and area along with her fun yet stern (when needed with vendors) personality makes her a great wedding planner. She was easily able to take our vision and recommend appropriate vendors to look into. This plus her handling most of the communication left us time to spend more time on things we really wanted to do... like making stuff!
Heather has a very detailed broken down to-do list leading up to the big day which helps focus on things month to month and not get too overwhelmed. She also does such a great job checking in and helping with whatever she can to help keep on track and relieve any stresses. She’s also a great person to bounce ideas off of. We loved all of her suggestions!
Heather is also very personable! She became a friend through the process and we truly miss having reasons to communicate with her so often. Planning with someone like this made the whole process so much for comfortable and enjoyable.
Come the big day, her and her assistant were super professional and were on top of everything. They went above and beyond in so many ways! There were a few hiccups, but she was able to think on her feet and take care of anything that came up. We were able to focus on our guests and each other without having to worry. What a gift!

My husband and I originally weren't going to use a planner. A few weeks before the wedding we decided to go ahead and get a planner to take some pressure off of us the day of. Hiring Heather was one of the best decisions we made!
We didn't really need much help, but also didn't want to have friends or family have to worry about setting up our venue or making sure our wedding party was all in order for the ceremony. She also ran our ceremony, which was a huge help! Heather was super helpful and everyone commented on how good she was. Our day was perfect and Heather had a big part of that!
Heather was wonderful to work with! We used her for month of coordination for our August 2018 wedding at the Riviera in Lake Geneva. Heather went above and beyond making sure our day ran smoothly - I couldn't have done it without her! I would recommend her to anyone - she's very organized, responsive and just a great person!

Heather was an amazing day-of coordinator for our wedding at the Farm at Dover in May. She was always responsive and on top of things, and was so essential on the day of. From helping with the decor details and coordinating with our vendors (photo, video, band, caterer, bartender, venue, and more), she always had a smile on her face. She and her assistant Emma went above and beyond in ensuring that our wedding went smoothly. Some of the little details I so appreciated included making sure our chocolate favors didn't melt in the unexpected heat and buying anti-itch cream for mosquito bites! I would recommend Heather to any couple planning their wedding without any hesitation.
Heather was our day-of/month-of coordinator for our wedding. She came in and picked our planning right where we left off to make sure our wedding day was totally stress-free. She communicated with all of our vendors in the week leading up to the wedding and kept track of all of the details. Our wedding had to be moved inside because of a massive downpour outside and she helped move everything along seamlessly. We had such a blast and can't thank Heather enough for all of her and her assistant's help along the way. It is well worth it to get a day-of coordinator to eliminate all worries and make sure you have the most perfect day. Heather was amazing!!
We hired Heather and her staff to be the day of event coordinators for my daughter's wedding on 11/25/17. The ceremony was held onsite at the Boerner Botanical gardens and we needed someone to help coordinate that day especially the logistics of the ceremony. Heather met with us several times prior to the day to go over and arrange details. She orchestrated the ceremony rehearsal and she took care of all the many details on the day of the wedding up until the time dinner started when the venue staff took over. We can't say enough praise about Heather. She was absolutely the best vendor that we worked with for the whole wedding. She is thorough, organized, and has many ideas.
