Bridget was an absolute pleasure to work with. We initially hired her to bring her ice cream cart to our wedding in Portsmouth, but then also ended up hiring her to help with the ceremony and reception set-up. She was always very responsive, which I really appreciated. The ice cream cart was a big hit at the reception. I highly recommend Bridget, and her services!

I never dreamed of having a wedding, but I knew that if I ever had one, there needed to be an ice cream cart. I am so glad that we found Sweet B’s! Bridget provided 2 flavors from Lago’s Ice Cream, along with a topping bar (including hot fudge). Everything was great, and our guests thoroughly enjoyed having ice cream at a wedding. I would recommend Sweet B’s to anyone that is interested in doing something a little bit different, but super tasty for their wedding!
We used Bridget's Ice Cream Cart, Sweet B's for our wedding dessert this past weekend at our wedding and it was a HUGE hit. The ice cream was out of this world, the cart was so cute and working with Bridget could not have been easier. She was so kind and when she couldn't make it to our wedding because of a conflict, her husband stepped in and scooped the ice cream for us. We absolutely loved having Sweet B's at our wedding and would love to use them for future events as well!
We hired Bridget as our day-of coordinator for our October 2021 wedding in Portland, ME. She was recommended to us by our chef-caterer and our venue.
I work in event production and designed and executed many elements of my own wedding (negotiating vendor contracts, securing rentals, etc.) but I am still happy with our choice to have Bridget with us on our wedding day. She really served as a hub contact for our vendors - confirming their schedules, being their point person at the venue while we were getting ready elsewhere, and handling night-of payments and tips. Bridget also picked up final décor details from where I left them - ensuring candles were lit, making final touches to table décor, removing place settings for a couple guests who couldn't make it at the last minute, breaking down the ceremony space during the reception, getting gifts to our car, etc. She was a cool, calm, presence in the day and she removed many tiny stresses from our radar. I feel like I made a lot of decisions about the day (processional order, who was giving speeches, when desserts should be served), and Bridget stitched them together and made them happen (timed out the processional to our song choice, made sure speech givers were ready when and where they were needed, etc.).
Bridget worked a lot in the background - she didn't draw attention to herself or what she was doing - but the results were excellent and really pulled our day together. We highly recommend her to others looking for a day-of coordinator in Portland.
My husband and I had a backyard wedding this past July. The beauty of a backyard wedding is the freedom it allows you, however, this can also be the downside. Every piece needed to be orchestrated by us. Therefore, as soon as we made the decision to have the wedding in the backyard, we knew we needed/wanted a wedding planner. We found Bridget and knew she would be a perfect fit for us. We hired her for the “Event Management” package, meaning she helped guide us during the planning process, gave wonderful recommendations for vendors, created timelines, and fully coordinated on the wedding day. We had several meetings throughout the planning process with her. She was supportive, non-pushy, knowledgeable, organized, calm, and just all around lovely to work with. We dealt with postponing our wedding a year with her and she reassured us every step of the way that it would all be manageable to do. Bridget has a special ability to sense a couple’s needs, vibe, approach (whatever word you choose to use) and she fully adapts to that.
Bridget and her assistant Liv were invaluable on the wedding day. They wore every hat at our wedding – they kept the flow of the wedding moving in a timely manner, ushered guests, moved furniture, worked with vendors, spruced trains, scooped ice cream, cleaned up, and poured champagne. During the hustle and bustle of the hours leading up to the wedding, our puppy decided to eat a sock and then proceed to throw it up right before I walked down the aisle. Liv quietly cleaned it up and checked on her countless times, all without me knowing so I wouldn’t worry. I am certain there are about a million other things that they did that I am not even aware of. They both made us feel so special and so well taken care of so we could just enjoy the day. I recommend Heirloom Events to any couple planning their wedding, they are simply amazing!
Also, book Sweet B’s Ice Cream Cart. The ice cream is DELICIOUS, and the cart is incredibly cute – it added so much to the reception. It provided such a fun activity that our guests adored.
Bridget backed out of our contracted services (day-of coordination for our wedding) 3 months prior the event with seemingly no explanation. We were contracted with her since 2019 (postponed a year without any issues). I reached out to all my vendors once our new date was set and again 6 months out of the wedding to check-in. Bridget missed our check-in call and could have acknowledged that she was overwhelmed and backed out then, but instead waited another month to leave me hanging before quitting. Terribly unprofessional and has left me scrambling to find a replacement. Would not recommend.
Choosing Bridget to help us out with our wedding day was the best decision we made! If you are undecided about hiring a planner/coordinator, believe me- An Heirloom Event will give you the wedding of your dreams! Me and my husband still cannot stop talking about how amazing our wedding was, and how much fun we had. The amount of stress she took off of us during the planning process and by making sure our wedding went smoothly was a godsend. We cannot thank Bridget enough for all of her hard work (she literally took care of moving 180 ceremony chairs after a vendor mishap!) and it was so nice as a bride to not have to deal with answering dozens of phone calls and combing through contacts leading up to the wedding. Could not have had the wonderful day we did without her- thank you!
Bridget was amazing to have On my wedding day! She coordinated everything smoothly and only asked me two questions throughout the day. She handled everything with such a cool and calm attitude. Not only was she a huge help day of but she answered all of my annoying bride questions the 9 months leading up to the day. She helped me save money when things went wrong and let me know the ins and outs of choosing certain vendors. She knows her stuff but what I liked most is her demeanor. She doesn’t add unnecessary stress to the day. She is prepared and can handle the unexpected (that always happens no matter how much you plan). She is amazing and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else in the area!
Bridget is truly an exceptional professional! She is amazingly-well organized, unflappable, and has the skills of a veteran diplomat. Her ability to negotiate with my daughter's wedding venue was a challenging assignment and, thankfully, took the pressure off all of us. She did an exceptional job with onsite coordination for the day of the wedding as well as for the welcome events the day before. If you want a real pro who delivers on all your expectations, Bridget should be your choice. We couldn't be happier with everything she did for us.
Thanks to Bridget and her extremely wonderful team of professionals, we were able to enjoy our special day worry free! She was there from the very beginning and took care of so many things, I'm not even sure I know everthing that she did! Shes that good! When we began looking to hire someone, it was mainly for day of preparations and tending to things that we couldn't (while we were getting ready). Later we realized that she had the knowledge and insight that we needed in order to pull of the wedding of our dreams. She was nothing short of amazing, and we would recommend over and over again! Bridget was great! We planned on having a large outdoor wedding at my fiancé's parents home. We met with Bridget about 4 weeks before the wedding at a coffee shop for a few hours to discuss our ideas/vision/questions and went over her questions. Bridget was very organized. Very professional. My vendors had great things to say about her. Our biggest concern was day of set up and coordination. Bridget did a wonderful job setting up my vision on every detail of every table. The morning and entire day off was more stress free than I could have imagained! Extremely happy and highly recommend!
We hired Bridget as our Day of Coordinator and we could not be happier with her and her team. She was a crucial part of why our wedding went so smoothly. Bridget was always calm and professional and made us feel at ease during our planning process, even when we felt overwhelmed about options and had no idea how we wanted certain things to flow. She handled all of our vendors and some difficult family members with aplomb, and if there were any issues at our reception we never heard about them. I highly recommend Bridget if you are getting married in the New England area!

We hired Bridget for "month/day of coordination" for our self-planned, diy setup/decorated, outdoor barn wedding. She was always calm, professional and responsive. I was very nervous that I was forgetting something and she was always there to reassure and calm us. She met with us at our venue about a month before our wedding, and went over everything again for our rehearsal. On the day of, she was perfect - if there was a mini crisis, I (the bride) was completely unaware of it. All ran on time, and smoothly. While I did not expect a 'perfect' day, that was exactly what I received and I have no doubt that much of that was from Bridget handling things behind the scenes.
Bridget was really helpful to us on our wedding day and helping us get organized for the day. She was willing to answer all kinds of questions and was very organized and knowledgable. We hired Bridget for day-of coordination for our June 14th wedding at the old Town Hall in Exeter, NH, and reception at Iron Gate Farm in Epping, NH, and it was definitely money well-spent. Despite envisioning a “simple” wedding, it became clear to my husband and I that, for our own peace of mind, it would be great to have someone take care of items such as tent and chair setup and tear down, coordination of vendors, and the execution of the ceremony. We met with Bridget twice via Skype to discuss wedding logistics and scope, were in frequent email contact in the weeks before the wedding, and hammered out final logistical issues with her on-site the day before the ceremony. She was calm, professional, helpful, and the day could not have gone more beautifully. Thank you, Bridget!
Bridget was such a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond her duties to make sure our day went as smooth as possible. We held a backyard wedding at my fathers house and handled the bulk of planning but we knew we needed a someone to help with coordination on the day of the wedding and I have to say thank goodness we did! Bridget Brunet is amazing. She is everything that you want in a planner: extremely organized, highly professional, exceptionally calm and completely reliable. Her pre-wedding communication with us was excellent. She anticipated most of our questions and left us trusting that she had it all under control; and she did have it under control. She was in contact with all of the vendors and had drafted a detailed plan for the day of the wedding.
On the day of the event, she had this extraordinary knack of appearing minutes before you even knew you needed something.
Our wedding reception was held at a lovely country B&B. Upon arrival, Bridget met with the owners to go over the details of the day. Following the event, the owners were effusive with their praise about what a pleasure it was to work with Bridget.
When the flowers for the wedding cake did not arrive Bridget went about clipping petals and sprigs from the other arrangements until she had enough to cover the cake. Thanks to her handiwork, the cake was beautiful and no one was the wiser. This is just one small example of the many ways in which she contributed to the success of the event.
As the mother-of-the-bride I was able to thoroughly enjoy every aspect of the wedding knowing we were in the competent hands of an outstanding planner. I heartily recommend Bridget, without reservation, to anyone looking for a planner. Come the day of the event, you will be so pleased that you had Bridget on your team.
We know for sure that we would not have been able to pull off such a amazing wedding reception without the continuous, caring support and hard work of Bridget Brunet. She was always willing to help and made us feel very comfortable. Her communication skills and time management are impeccable. I didn't really think a wedding planner was necessary but after this experience I would 100% suggest Bridget Brunet Weddings + Events. She kept us on track and helped out with everything from shopping to budget to invitations and so so so so much more. On the day of the wedding her expertise was especially helpful. Bridget did a great job for me the day of the wedding and helped get so many things done. Though it is "day-of" we met and talked several times in advance, she talked to all the vendors in advance and also attended the rehearsal.
