Hem & Her

Joyce and Marv were absolutely amazing. They helped our daughter create her dream wedding dress, as well as outfitting all the groomsmen. My daughter tried on one of Joyce's creations but she had ideas that she hoped Joyce could add to it...and Joyce did exactly that! She made a gorgeous beaded train, and created a sleeved jacket from photos my daughter showed her. And she did all of this even with the added difficulty of my daughter living out of state. The dress was absolutely stunning and just what my daughter wanted. And it stayed within our budget, which was a factor for us. Marv helped get all the groomsmen and my husband outfitted. The high quality suits they purchased were almost the same price as if they had rented suits. One of the guys bought a second one because he liked it so much. Marv and Joyce treated us so well and made every step of the journey so fun, even though weddings can be stressful. They were a dream to work with and I'd highly recommend them.

This place is the best! Marv and Joyce helped us find my wedding dress and suits for the groom, groomsmen, and father of the groom. We visited multiple times to make selections and have alterations done. They were patient, friendly, and made the experience so much fun! They have a great selection, were happy to order what we needed, and made sure everything fit perfectly. We can't recommend shopping at Hem and Her enough!

I came here with my sister to look for a dress for my wedding. We did end up missing the turn into the parking lot the first go, as the shop is set back away from the road. The front yard was beautifully landscaped, and they had an adorable little coffee truck out front with tables to sit at. Inside was packed with dresses. All sorts of pretty dresses! Prom a d evening ware, cocktail dresses and even men’s suits. We were helped by a young lady very promptly, and I showed her what kind of dresses I was looking for. The first one she brought out was almost identical to the picture I showed her, but it was way to big to be altered, and they had no smaller sizes. The next one was perfect. I had asked her to bring something in a ball gown style to try on, just something pretty, and she found the one that I took home with me! She helped me try on both dresses, and get them off (which we all know it almost impossible alone). She Helped pick out a veil and a pretty belt. My sister was allowed back in the large changing room with us, and they accepted her input and questions as well as mine. I had gone to David’s bridal prior to coming here, and felt like they were just trying to push a sale on me. Hem&Her was like a cozy mom and pop shop, and I didn’t feel pressured at all. The owners were extremely friendly, and even offered us a glass of scotch after picking out the dress! When I joked about needing something blue next they gave me a darling blue garter for free. The dress I picked doesn’t need any alterations as it fit perfect, so I can’t review that, but the services were offered as well as dry cleaning. The dress I bought was not new, but had not been worn to a wedding, I was told. But that was fine with me. I am definitely going to recommend this shop for future dress/suit shopping.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Hem and Her. Great people to work with, very kind and very helpful. I bought my suit for prom here, and now I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. My pants were altered in a very timely manner. I was overall very pleased and would strongly recommend them.
