Raquel and team were so extremely helpful, friendly, patient & oh so on top of everything on our weeding day. I couldn’t have asked for better support. Everything went off without a hitch & that was 99% because of Raquel. She was super helpful through the planning process as well, keeping us on time & on top of everything. She helped guide us to make sure we had exactly what we wanted & what was important to us, which was not super traditional. I’ve been to a couple weddings since ours, it’s been obvious how invaluable a coordinator like Raquel is. She is the absolute best, I highly recommend working with her to plan & implements your next event!
Raquel and team were all stars in coordinating our wedding. From our first meeting, we felt supported and seen by Raquel. Raquel made our vision come to life, and helped us anticipate things we didn't know to expect. And, she was kind and fun the whole time! We asked her to do our decor/flowers on a tight budget, and she created a beautiful space. On the day of the wedding, she navigated surprises with patience and humor. We are so grateful.
Absolutely the best coordinator!! I hired Raquel about 6 weeks before my wedding as I wanted to ensure that everything was covered leading up to and on my wedding day. My first meeting with Raquel was great. She is very personable, knowledgeable about the business, and I knew I could trust her in ensuring me and my husband's special day went without any problems.
Raquel made sure she was prepared by reading through all contracts to make sure nothing was missed and preparing the day of timeline. She made sure that our vision came true the night of our wedding. There were so many moving parts, Raquel did an amazing job to ensure that everyone was sticking to schedule.
Raquel also coordinated with all of my vendors. That was the main reason why I hired Raquel, to make sure that the day of the wedding, the vendors were all knew their part, were to go, vendors showing up on time, how each of them effected one another's services and how everyone would come together as a team to make it one unforgettable night. Raquel was able to do just that so that me and my husband did not have to worry about anything but enjoying our day.
Raquel went above and beyond, and even helped me find the bustle on my dress which was such a struggle for the both of us! She was always right there if my husband or I needed anything, even making sure that we ate.
Raquel also attending our rehearsal the night before the wedding and did such a great job with leading and directing my bridal party with where to walk, and the pace, while playing the songs we had chosen for the ceremony.
Raquel's fees are very reasonable and fair with the outstanding level of service she provides. If I were to host another large event, I will definitely consider hiring her again! Do not hesitate to reach out to her, you will not be disappointed!!

Hiring Raquel as our day-of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made leading up to our wedding. She helped us immensely with planning, scheduling, advice etc. leading up to our wedding and she handled all of the details week-of, which was AMAZING because there are so many things, people and vendors to coordinate. Because of Raquel, we were able to actually enjoy much of our wedding and not worry too much.
A pandemic should have made my wedding a beautiful ball of stress. From family to friends and everything in between, our research led us to thousands of fears related to everything that could possibly go wrong with our wedding. Then, Raquel joined in to provide decor and Day of Coordination services. She had a way of foreseeing the types of stressors and responded in a calm way that showed us that our worries were universal. Raquel was honestly my right hand during the planning process, she provided beautiful options to decorate our guest, memorial and sweetheart table and created our seating chart. The reception hall looked stunning thanks to Raquel and her team! On the big day, Raquel ensured I had no worries- she handled every problem before I even knew it existed. Florist forgot to add in additional flowers I requested ?Here comes Raquel with a new and improved bouquet in time for the ceremony. Room service forgot to deliver breakfast to the groom and groomsmen? Here comes Raquel with a prompt follow up and personally ensuring my future husband has a bite to eat. Raquel navigated problematic family members with grace, followed up with all my vendors and kept us on time. My family could not stop remarking on how wonderful everything looked and the way the day ran- we really have Raquel and her team to thank. Raquel was such a huge support during this process. She ensured I was able to enjoy my wedding day instead of stressing over it. Hire her; she is more than worth it.

I hired Raquel and her team for month of coordination for my Nigerian American wedding upon recommendation from one of my cousins who also worked with her. To be quite honest, my wedding would have been a mess without her. If you’ve ever been to a Nigerian wedding, you know there are TONS of people and she wrangled everyone like a champ. My husband and I did a lot of diy projects for the wedding and Raquel and her team were able to execute our vision perfectly plus add a little special sauce of their own. She also managed all my vendors so I didn’t have to pick up not one call during my wedding week. I would 1000000% recommend Here and Now Events to anyone, especially those planning anything even remotely close to the size of a Nigerian Wedding.

Raquel Federowicz is the Founder and Head Event Planner. She has worked within the hospitality industry for about 15 years with an intense focus on restaurants and events. She has worked as a hostess, Maître D’, Floor Manager, and Event Coordinator. Raquel worked at Aquagrill Restaurant; New York’s Premier Seafood Restaurant in Soho (closed 2020 after 24 years in business). This is also the place she would meet her husband and furthered her love for the industry! She is focused, detail oriented with an emphasis on customer service and optimal client experience.
