We booked Adriana for our engagement shoot at the NJ Botanical Gardens, and not only are the photos incredible but the experience was a joy start to finish. She is transparent about pricing, and ensured that we felt comfortable the whole way through. She gave great direction leading up to and during the shoot, and we have such a variety of photos to choose from as a result. She also turned the album around SUPER quickly, which was an unexpected surprise during peak season. I can't say enough great things about Adriana, and I look forward to recommending her to everyone I know in need of a photographer.

Words cannot describe how much we appreciate and loved our time with Adriana. We reached out to her at the last minute when we were unable to schedule an engagement shoot with our wedding photographer due to travel constraints. We found her through friends who also couldn't recommend her highly enough. She was kind enough to accommodate us at the last minute and I'll never forget our first meeting. It was a freezing day in the Catskills and yet she made the day so incredibly fun and memorable with her warmth and kindness. My husband and I are not comfortable in front of the camera but she brought out the best in us with her infectious enthusiasm. Her pictures are absolutely beautiful and she captures real genuine moments. Even amidst freezing temperatures, wind, and snowy mountains she was able to capture the most phenomenal, awe-inspiring, timeless pictures. She's professional but also makes you feel so incredibly comfortable as if you've known her your entire life. The first time I saw our engagement pictures, I was truly blown away by her artistry and I knew that I would treasure them for a lifetime.  After our engagement session, my husband and I were so impressed by her talent and her energy that we decided that we wanted to hire her for our pre-wedding events. We were having three multicultural pre-wedding events and she mentioned that she was available during our wedding week. She was so thorough and really took the time to understand the cultural significance of the events to make sure she didn't miss any important family pictures or moments. She is incredibly organized and sends out a questionnaire ahead of time to make sure that nothing is forgotten. On the day of the events, she was efficient but managed to capture the most stunning photos of us and our families. Looking back on these photos, we are so grateful to her for capturing these special moments and making our wedding week such a joyful experience. We often talk about how these intimate events and photos are some of our favorite memories from our wedding week and we are so grateful that we decided to hire her to capture these priceless memories.  If you are thinking about hiring Adriana, don't hesitate because you won't regret it. I'll start by saying that I generally do not love having my picture taken; my wife is more tolerant (she's beautiful, so I get it), but is also a bit camera-shy. For people like us, it was incredibly valuable to have photographers who helped us feel comfortable and confident on our special day, and we couldn't have asked for a better pair than Adriana and Scott. For starters, their attention to detail and willingness to adapt were on full display the entire time. Adriana was always aware of when Nathalie's hair or dress needed a slight tweak to look picture-perfect, and made sure that the light hit her just right. Scott deftly navigated a disorganized house of groomsmen and was able to capture each and every special moment, while keeping the mess out of frame. In hindsight, he basically was acting as a groomsman himself, helping to locate belts and ties, giving recommendations on pocket squares, and reassuring me (the groom) that I looked the part. Inevitably, certain things did not go exactly according to plan, but this didn't phase them—whether it was waiting for certain family members to be present, timing the sunset just right, or ensuring that we didn't step in mud while finding the best location for a shot, they improvised and overcame all obstacles. In the end, the only regret we have was that we couldn't keep Adriana and Scott around for even longer, but most of the guests are probably happy to not have pictures of them after 3-4 hours of partying :). Where to start! Adriana and Scott were amazing the day of our wedding. I can’t even put into words how lucky we were to work with them! During the wedding planning process I spoke to many photographers. We clicked immediately with Adriana. I knew after our conversation that my search was over after we spoke. Her photography style was exactly what we were looking for our Christmas wedding. Adriana and Scott captured so many priceless memories for us. We received an amazing mix of us as well as our guests. I am blown away at how beautiful the pictures came out. It’s hard to pick a favorite out of the set. Not only did we receive the most beautiful pictures, Adriana was a calming presence on our day. We had so much fun during our portraits. I don’t love taking photos and Adriana made me feel like a model <3 We shared lots of laughs and genuinely had a great time working with them both. Adriana can also save the day! Our hair and makeup wrapped a tad earlier than we expected the day of. They left before she arrived to our wedding suite. When it was time to put my veil on, I realized I never asked my hair stylist how to put it in. I nearly panicked. Luckily, Adriana knew what to do! I would rate our overall experience working with HereNorth a 1000 out of 10. Don’t hesitate and book!

To say I am embarrassed at how long it has taken me to write this review is an understatement, but better late than never!! Maybe it took so long because I was trying to find the words to showcase how amazing Adriana not only is as a photographer but as a person. However, I'm realizing there are definitely not enough words in the world to properly explain that. When we started the wedding planning process for our destination, winter wedding for 200 guests, and decided not to hire a wedding planner - we knew that we needed to hire our dream team of vendors to make this work. To my husband and I, photography was the point guard - from the research we had done, we knew that the photographer would really be in charge of ensuring our day went smoothly and ran on time. I did a ton of research online, had virtual meetings with probably 10 different photographers - and Adriana stood out right off the bat. To start, not only was her portfolio out of this world and exactly the aesthetic we were looking for, but we could tell from the different galleries she shared with us that she could shoot in any environment, season, venue and capture the day beautifully. Aside from her work, she was extremely personable on the phone, offered advice when needed but also allowed us to express how we envisioned our day. She also did not even flinch when we asked her to take on our winter wedding in -20 degree Lake Placid, New York - despite not having much winter experience we knew she was completely up to the challenge and trusted that she would deliver! Our engagement shoot was the first true sign of how amazing she would be on our big day - not familiar with Lake Placid, she did extensive research to suggest locations for the shoot, she went up the day before to scout out exact spots to shoot and she delivered stunning photos within a few weeks. Throughout the wedding planning process, her communication was top notch - always very clear, always willing to answer the endless questions that I had with a positive attitude, gave really great suggestions and advice to help guide us in the right direction, and she even helped me decide which color lipstick would look best on me and pop! And last but not least - the big day. Adriana and her assistant, Sloane, CAME TO PLAY. They arrived early, were extremely calm and supportive throughout the entire day, did not make us feel stressed or overwhelmed with the timing of things but still managed to get us where we needed to be when we needed to be, and might I add they did not mind the cold/snow we had them standing in for 2 hours. Adriana and Sloane felt more like family than vendors at our wedding, and while you almost didn't see them most of the time they managed to get every.single.moment. We discussed with Adriana from the beginning that what was more important for us was the "in between moments" or the candid shots. We didn't want to spend our entire day taking portraits but really wanted to get those important/traditional shots done in an efficient manner and then enjoy the day - and they did just that. This leads me to our wedding album - we cried looking at the pictures that were delivered again so efficiently and beautifully. Adriana and Sloane captured everything and more and we could not be more grateful for them. I could go on to write a novel, but truly I would not recommend Adriana and her team at HereNorth more. They are A+ photographers and just beautiful people. Donn't walk, run to book this team!!! <3

This is the most overdue review - however, I had to come back to write because hiring Adrianna was hands down the best decision we made in planning our wedding. When I first started wedding planning on 2019, I saw some of Adrianna’s photos on venue’s website and I knew I had to hire her! Her style is moody and evocative - and we wanted wedding photos that could hang on our walls like art. Adrianna completely delivered - everyone who sees our photos are blown away and want to know how we possibly got such beautiful wedding photos. Adrianna is also incredibly fun to work with! She gives great pose coaching and makes taking photos enjoyable. My husband really doesn’t enjoy having his photo taken, but Adrianna made him feel comfortable, and later he even said that taking photos was one of his favorite parts of our wedding day. We had several challenges leading up to our wedding day, and Adrianna was helpful and supportive through all of them. Our wedding was originally planned for Nov 2020, but in May of 2020 we decided to postpone a year due to COVID. Adrianna was incredibly supportive of this decision, and flexible with us through the postponement process. My husband has a really big family, and it was important to him to get individual family shots with each family unit. Although this is atypical, Adrianna was extremely accommodating as we planned this and was able to offer suggestions to help the logistics run smoothly. Unfortunately, my mother in law passed away two days before the wedding. This was incredibly difficult, but my husband and I decided that we wanted to move forward with the wedding as planned. Adrianna was compassionate and really helped us navigate some of the emotional moments that came up around family photos. When timing got crunched, she helped me calm down and said exactly the right thing to get me back on track. When I first got engaged someone told me to consider the fact that the vendors you are are the people you’ll spend your wedding day with. Who do you want to be with you on the the most important day of your life? I can say with confidence that Adrianna was absolutely the right choice. So, in short - Adrianna was an absolute joy to work with, AND (with super speed!!) delivered photos we are totally in love with. What more could you want?

Adriana is an absolute, hands-down, 1000 percent rockstar. I was admittedly nervous about photography on my wedding day, since I’m not usually the most comfortable in front of the camera — but Adriana made me and my husband feel completely at home from the second we started. Engagement pics weren’t in the cards for us (we live out of town and pandemic travel made things tough), so the first time we met Adriana was at our first look. She managed to jump right in, click with us and our families and our vendors, and put everyone at ease. And you can absolutely see her kindness and warmth show through in the photos she creates. She captured the emotions and essence of each moment of our wedding day, and I could not be more grateful for her work. Plus, she’s incredibly well prepared and she goes above and beyond to make sure your day goes smoothly. And as an added bonus, she delivered preview photos within days, and the full album only a few short weeks after our wedding. Could not be more pleased with HereNorth!

This is a long overdue review but the good vibes are still running HIGH. I cannot thank Adriana and her assistant, Scott, enough. Our wedding day was the first time we met both of them in person and they both made me and my husband instantly feel comfortable in front of the camera. Adriana is an EXPERT at what she does, her vision and passion are so clear in the photos that she delivered. The photos that were captured before and during our wedding are stunning and we will cherish them forever. Adriana and Scott blended right in during our reception, so many of our guests commented on how fun they are - dancing on the dance floor and singing along with the songs! Because they were on the dance floor, the pictures they got of all our guests dancing are AMAZING. Adriana delivered teasers (and no, not 5-10 pictures… 100 freaking pictures!!) a few days after our wedding and a few short weeks later, we had the rest of the hundreds of photos from our day. Thank you Adriana!! We already miss you!!

Choosing HereNorth to be our wedding photographer was truly one of the best decisions we made about our wedding. From the first time we spoke, I was so impressed by Adriana's knowledge about lighting, angles, family dynamics, and everything "wedding", not just photography! She was extremely friendly, warm, and professional from the jump- and never made me feel silly for asking ALL of the questions. On the day of our wedding, Adriana and her second shooter, Scott, were absolutely incredible and such assets to our team of vendors. Adriana knew exactly what the schedule was, and was an enormous help to me, keeping me calm and focused - and her and Scott were in perfect synchrony, whether they were shooting with different groups of people or on opposite sides of the room. They were FUN, and just great people to have around on the best day of my life. If I could give Adriana 1 million stars, I would! Not only is she an unbelievable photographer, she is a truly amazing person. We knew we had to hire her immediately after we met over FaceTime! It’s an understatement to say that Adriana is amazing! We fell in love with her photos of other weddings because they seemed to capture the fun and spirit of the couple in a way we hadn’t seen before. And we were SO pleased with our wedding photos - not only did she capture all of the big moments, she really managed to nail the vibe of the day and all of the small gestures and glances that we might have otherwise missed. But that was just the beginning because beyond the photos, Adriana has such a calm chill attitude that you will be happy to have her around you on your wedding day. I also highly recommend having Adriana do an engagement shoot, which we did - not only did we get some great pics but by the wedding day, Adriana felt like an old friend that you were just so happy to have at your big day. Adrianna is beyond amazing. When searching for a photographer for our wedding I came across her website and was in love. Her photos were amazing and I really liked what she had to say about her journey as a photographer. After meeting with her for the first time I knew she was the one for us. She is so knowledgeable and super organized (which I appreciate more then you know). On top of being amazing at her craft, she is an even more amazing person. Working with her was a dream, she is so down to earth and fun. We always had a blast working with her and loved that she suggested more adventurous ideas for our photos. She is incredibly creative and talented and we would work with her again in a heartbeat!

I cannot emphasize this enough: Adriana knows what she is doing!!! You can share your wedding dreams and visions with her and she will help make them come true. My husband and I hired Adriana for our two weddings, a cultural Lao wedding and a beach wedding. During our whirlwind wedding weekend, I did not have to stress or worry about my wedding photographer/photos once. I knew Adriana was on it! Adriana brought the calm that we desperately needed. She was incredibly flexible and never seemed flustered or rattled. She was an absolute professional at all times, but also somehow fit in perfectly with our family and bridal party. She made us all feel relaxed and comfortable. She managed and directed the crowd when needed (we are a wild bunch) and at other moments she blended seamlessly into the background. Looking through our wedding photos, we are so happy and impressed at all the big and little moments she was able to capture. We will cherish our photos and the memories forever!!

HereNorth: A Groom's Perspective From our first meeting together to delivering the finished photos Adri was lovely and professional. I felt completely involved and understood throughout the experience. What really impressed me was the questionnaire that she used to get to know us showing that she was interested in not just A wedding day but OUR wedding day. On celebrating one year of marriage together today I can't help but reflect appreciatively on the photographer who captured every moment of our perfect day just as I remember. I’ve been privileged to know Adriana for quite some time, and have been able to watch her work develop to the incredibly skilled professional she is today. I had always dreamed that *if* I had a wedding, that she in some way would be able to help capture that benchmark of love. Well, when I said “Yes!” to my forever partner, and we began planning our very intimate wedding (during a pandemic, no less), Adriana came in clutch. She didn’t rest on her laurels of our years of friendship; she put on her professional cap and got to know my soon-to-be spouse and I as perspective clients, giving us the full client experience. She took the time to get to know what we wanted, helped us to develop a realistic perspective of the day, and even provided honest feedback with our preferences in mind. She even quelled our emergency-based fears with back-up plans, given the pandemic and high-risk family. The day of, she was absolutely legendary. If you’re reading this review, I’m sure you have already learned how she anticipates every need, supports sensitive moments from clothing fiascos to delicate family matters, and moonlights as an emotional support coach, all while taking breathtaking photos. She captured the crucial moments (like the kiss and first look) with the same beauty as the intimate moments when we thought no one was looking. The final product exceeded our expectations, and even a year ago today, it is still more than we could ever imagine. Adriana is a phenomenally talented photographer. Once my husband and I found her photographs on The Knot, we couldn't imagine using anyone else. We loved how creative, and in no way formulaic, her work is. Adriana was kind, professional and reliable. She listened to our request and ideas, she had great suggestions for capturing different moments of the day, and gave valuable direction during our shoot. My husband and I will cherish her photographs for the rest of our lives.

Adriana was the second best wedding decision we made– second only to my husband and I choosing one another. Not only is she a phenomenally talented photographer, but she’s an amazing person. My husband and I went with wedding day photo coverage plus a 3-hour shoot the next day. SO glad we did that, we were able to get photos at several locations without the day-of wedding stress. And each photo looks like a magazine cover. SERIOUSLY, MAGAZINE COVER STATUS. We LOVE our photos. Our families LOVE our photos. My Mom’s mailman LOVES our photos. Yes, they’re so good that you’re going to have family members showing anyone and everyone. Adriana’s style seems natural and effortless, and that’s not easy to do. She’s magic. As if all the above reasons weren’t enough to book her, her turnaround for final photos was INSANE. We had some teaser photos like a week after the wedding and our full gallery around a month later. WHICH IS CRAZY FAST. ADRIANA, if you’re reading this GET SOME SLEEP. Bottom line, book her now, if she’s available. If she’s not available, change your wedding date. Also, book the Day After shoot....it....is....everything.

The entire planning process was incredibly straightforward, and Adriana became an invaluable resource beyond just our wedding photos. Adriana was also extremely flexible around the unique circumstances of our postponed COVID-wedding…I cannot say enough about her willingness to accommodate changes to our original scheduled date. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We cannot express enough how happy we are that we hired Adriana (HereNorth) for our wedding day. Once we picked our venue and date, a photographer was the first vendor we searched for because having tangible memories of our wedding was extremely important to us. From the start, she was responsive and detail-oriented. Not only is she truly an expert in her craft, but she has also mastered the "people" element. We opted for the package that included an engagement session so we had the opportunity to warm up with her. She made us feel comfortable almost immediately. She considered our input, but also made sure to incorporate her own expertise when it came to positioning, lighting, etc. Adriana and her team navigated the wedding day beautifully. They seamlessly coordinated with our videographer and other vendors throughout the day. They were able to accommodate unexpected outdoor elements and adapt accordingly. We were especially impressed with the way they handled the flow of the day and corralled our wedding group (including some large personalities) in a friendly and professional manner. Ultimately, our wedding photos were everything we dreamed of. Adriana and her team captured amazing moments from our day and we will treasure them for a lifetime. I truly do not know how to describe into words my experience with Adriana. From the first phone call we had with her, we immediately knew she was the photographer we wanted to hire. Her talent, experience, and overall sense of calm helped us go from usually awkward photos to having ABSOLUTELY STUNNING wedding photos. Not only was she an incredible photographer, she was a friend on our wedding day. She made sure we were running on time with gentle reminders, made jokes to ease the tension, and even helped me to put on my shoes when the stress made me completely unable to do so on my own. When I look back on my wedding, I couldn't imagine the day without her. Now, onto the photos. Every single time I look at the hundreds of beautiful photos she took of us, I find a new favorite. There is something special about every single photo. Whether it is a photo of my husband and I looking absolutely in love, a small moment of laughter taken between us, or an absolutely hysterical reception photo, each one seems to perfectly capture a moment of our day. I stumbled upon Andrea on the Knot and after reviewing her profile, I knew right away that I wanted to book with her. While I booked with Andrea because of her gorgeous photos, little did I know how much more I would get out of working with her. Over the course of our two year engagement, Andrea made a huge effort in getting to know us and building a relationship with us. Throughout our engagement, her check-ins with us completely put us at ease. While so much of the wedding process can feel impersonal, Andrea truly made an effort to connect with us and understand who we are. When it came time for our engagement shoot, Andrea’s understanding of us truly shined through in her photos. I was so grateful for her ability to put us at ease and help us to feel comfortable in the process. She was able to really capture our personality and love for each other in every shot. On the wedding day, Andrea’s same ease and professionalism helped to make the morning and afternoon feel stress free. Every photo Andrea captured was beautiful and unique in its own way. She was able to capture all of the standard pictures without making them seem posed or unnatural. More importantly however, she captured all of the little candid and beautiful moments that would’ve otherwise passed by without us having the opportunity to reflect back and cherish them. I could probably write a book about how incredible Andrea is. She made my wedding vision come to fruition and was a pivotal part of the flow and ease of my wedding day. I cannot recommend enough booking with Andrea for your day.

There isn’t much else to say about Adriana, HereNorth and her team that hasn’t been already said by ALL of her GLOWING reviews. I am writing to confirm that every review you’ve read before mine is absolutely true. Adriana is an artist at the purest sense of the word and photography is her medium. Like most others, my then-fianceé and I were planning a wedding and started by going on TheKnot.com. The first link I clicked on in the menu was “Vendors” then clicked on “Wedding Photographers.” Naturally, I saw a search filter and hit “Award Winners.” HereNorth Photography was one of the first few results to pop up. I checked out maybe 3 or 4 photographers before I finally landed on HereNorth’s profile. Do you know that feeling of love at first sight? I felt it once before when I first laid eyes on Alyssa, my now wife =), then felt it again when I saw HereNorth’s portfolio. My search for a photographer to capture the biggest day of my life ended right there. Her pictures are earthy, grounded and have a sense of “weight” to them. Most of the other photographer portfolios evoke a feeling of airiness and a sense of fleetingness that just wasn’t for us. Adriana’s work captures the rawness of a wedding. Her pictures express the drama and the emotion of the biggest day of a couple’s lives. If you want your wedding day pictures to express humanity, then Adriana is your person. As great a photographer as I described Adriana to be, she is an even better person. Alyssa and I first met her via FaceTime and she was warm and welcoming the second we picked up the call. We had an engagement shoot with her at Liberty Park in Jersey City where we were able to spend time talking with her without the hustle and bustle of a wedding day schedule. She has a calming energy about her which is important for someone like me who has never been in front of a camera. She makes you feel very comfortable when you are everything but. Adriana is also very funny which also helps calm your nerves. She is great at giving direction to get the most natural looking images. She is thorough and well-prepared. She had a questionnaire for us to capture every detail and a timeline ready to add some order to the chaos of a wedding. You just get the sense of being amongst a friend when working with Adriana. Alyssa and I had the utmost trust in her, so whenever she offered a recommendation or suggestion for a shot, we were more than willing to oblige because we knew something great was going to come of it. Adriana is incredible. It would be very remiss of me to not mention the rest of the HereNorth team and say thank you to Darby, who assisted Adriana, on our wedding day as well as my guy, Scott, who spent the day with my groomsmen and me. Aside from keeping us on schedule and capturing awesome shots of my closest friends and me, he assisted all of us with our boutonnieres to make sure we all looked sharp. Thank you, Scott! Adriana does thing differently from any of the other photographers I had spoken to in the process of finding our wedding photographer. She first offered a FaceTime “date” so we could see each other face to face and check if we vibe well with each other. Let me tell you, just that little suggestion made a world of difference. We had to reschedule our wedding three times due to the Covid pandemic, and she was along with us for the ride every step of the way. She sent emails just to say hello and check in if I needed help with anything, did research of picture locations, and offered kind words and full support when we ran in to the typical wedding drama that is bound to happen to every couple at some point in their planning. As a bride, being heard and receiving validation of your feelings, really helps take you from bridezilla to glowing and dancing on cloud 9 in 0.2 seconds. I never felt stressed or rushed but gently guided in the direction I needed to go. Now for the final product, our photos. Just seeing our album cover gave us goosebumps and filled our eyes with happy tears. Every single photo is a work of art that my husband and I can’t stop looking at. If I could give Adriana and her HereNorth team infinity stars, I would. Is that cliche? Don’t care, because it’s the truth. Adriana shot my cousin’s wedding a few years ago, and after I saw their wedding album, I knew I had to have her for my wedding (I wasn’t even engaged at that time, LOL). When I did get engaged, I contacted Adriana and I also contacted several other photographers and set up some meetings with them. I originally was trying to find a great photographer at a certain pre-set price I had in my head. But when I looked at every other photographer’s portfolio, I realized all I was doing was comparing their work to Adriana’s work, and everybody’s else’s photos fell short of hers every single time. (To emphasize how talented Adriana is: my now HUSBAND, the man who notices no detail AT ALL, ie I could shave my head completely bald and he would not notice, said to me multiple times when looking at Adriana’s portfolio, “It’s not even a comparison — we have to hire her”. That is how amazing she is. Adriana is more than just a brilliant photographer with the ability to capture the moments you won’t have time to cherish on the day of your wedding — she is relaxed, EXTREMELY ORGANIZED, and delightful. She is ready for every detail of your day because she asks you questions about the details in advance — so all she has to do the day of the wedding is show up and she will know exactly what to do and where to be. Until it is your wedding day, you cannot understand how important it is to have a vendor — especially a photographer — who doesn’t ask you any questions about what to do during the day of your wedding because she already knows what to do. Adriana hired an additional photographer, Scott (equally amazing and so much fun to be around) , and had an assistant with her the entire day. Her assistant took care of things I didn’t even think about: For example, there is not a single piece of paper, an empty glass, garbage can, none of it in the background of any of my photographs. That’s because Adriana’s assistant was there running around making sure that not only did I look perfect (fixed my hair, etc), but the background looked perfect too. Having a second photographer hired by Adriana also allowed me to have her with me the entire time to capture every moment of the day. Together, the two photographers captured every single moment of the day. Your wedding day is a blur — but Adriana will make sure to capture every moment for you so you can still look back at it and know that you, your spouse, and all of your family and friends had an amazing time. I really, truly cannot recommend her and her team highly enough.

I mean... Adriana is literally the BEST of the BEST! From beginning to end, working with her has been an absolute pleasure. We have been on this planning/postponing/getting the job done experience together for about 2.5 years and it would not have been the same without Adriana. During our planning phases, Adriana was always so timely with her responses and always made us feel heard throughout the whole process- making us feel like we were always on the same team. We had the opportunity to see Adriana in her element during our engagement photo session in the fall of 2019 and that just sealed the deal. My husband (fiance at the time) and I were a little nervous but the second we got behind Adriana's lens with her direction being so comfortable and relaxed we immediately fell into rhythm. And have you seen the photos..... like C'MON! They were everything we hoped for and more! We also just had SO MUCH FUN with her and her 2nd shooter, Madison, to the point where we felt like our party was only continuing when we would run off and take photos- it was just a blast! And the result, the photos.... they are just straight stunning! We FINALLY got married on 7/3/21 and she was in it for the long haul with us being a Covid couple and postponing a full year (2 and half years in total). Her response time to emails was prompt throughout which was EVERYTHING during the postponement process. She Facetimed with us before we even booked to make sure that we vibed- and she was easy to vibe with. So warm and welcoming and you could tell she knew what she was doing. She helped us (goofy at taking pictures) feel confident at the engagement shoot and the photos came out unbelievable. We felt that we could trust her entirely and made us feel like she was our team captain when it came to our vendors, and it really showed day-of. We had a WILD wedding morning and when our wedding coordinator had a family emergency and could not make it- Adriana stepped up to keep our timeline running smoothly. She really listened to what kinds of shots and what kind of party we wanted, and guided us in the right direction to make sure we had time for all. She got all the right photos and let us DANCE. She felt like a friend by the end of the night- corny, I know, but so true. She got so many beautiful “teasers” back to us within a week that we still cannot stop looking at! I don’t even remember her taking some of them- she was a ninja. So many compliments on how beautiful they came out. Also, our doggo made a brief appearance and was so overwhelmed he was ALL OVER the place and somehow Adriana got a picture of us both smiling with him, even our doggo was smiling and I laughed out loud because I seriously did not think that we got the photo. Stop looking, you’ve just found your photographer! Adriana is simply the best of the best. From the beginning she was organized and always responded promptly to any questions that I had. We booked her over a year out and she would randomly send us emails to check in and just see how we were doing. It was important to us that we felt comfortable with our photographer and because of that, taking photos was so much fun. The day of our wedding we had everything planned but the day was so hot. Adriana had asked us if we would prefer to wait to take our couple photos until sunset and we are so glad she had suggested that. We ended up feeling more comfortable once the sun was setting and the photos were beyond stunning. We had the absolute best experience working with Adriana and her fabulous team. I first met her in 2019 as the photographer for one of my best friend's weddings. She’s so extraordinarily talented, and we had so much fun working with her! Adriana is truly a phenomenal artist and an expert in her craft. When the State of NJ first shut down, just a day before my original March 21, 2020 wedding, she was so supportive and did everything she could to say the best words in those moments. Adriana is AMAZING!! On top of being super professional and responsive, she trekked out in the snow with my Fiancé and I to help us get the engagement photos of our dreams! Incredible. I can't even begin to explain how happy I am that I found Adriana! ESPECIALLY since our wedding unravelled significantly due to Covid 19. I found HereNorth solely through the Knot. Something about the style of her photos drew me in and I knew I wanted her to photograph our wedding. The first thing you should know is that Adriana is ALL about the details. Despite the fact that I am never home and always traveling/away for work, she worked around my schedule to interview me extensively as to what I wanted out of our wedding photography experience, she mailed a sweet little vow book package to our home after booking, and she kept me on track with reminders/schedules/thoughts/photo lists regarding the ceremony that I never would have considered otherwise. When Covid 19 hit and it seemed our big plans would be postponed, she agreed to monitor the situation and photograph our newly planned intimate ceremony should health regulations allow. Thankfully, New Jersey began allowing outdoor activities the week before our ceremony and she was READY. When Adriana arrived I felt like a mess. We were live streaming the event and so much seemed out of my hands. Adriana was at the event over an hour and when she left I felt I had not provided a set-up that allowed her to capture much beyond my husband and I at the "altar" and our family formal photos. When I saw the photos I COULD NOT believe all she had captured. All these beautiful little details: flowers, balloons, signs, family smiling and waving and laughing, and our little dogs running all over the place. She captured so many beautiful moments and in such a unique and natural style. I wanted to cry when I saw the pictures she had captured - pictures I will cherish for a long long time. I am extremely picky and critical when it comes to photographs of my person but I LOVED so many of her shots and positioning. She was incredibly professional - practically a ghost that somehow captured the essence of our day without any direction from me. She has been photographing weddings for 10+ years and it SHOWS. She is coming back for our big postponed celebration next year and I am beyond excited to see what she she captures next. Wow! We just got our wedding photos back and I am just blown away at the amazing quality of these photos. We had already planned out our wedding once but due to COVID a ton of things changed! Immediately when we met Adriana via FaceTime, we already knew her vibe was what we would eventually need on our wedding night. I can’t thank Adriana enough for the unbelievable photos she was able to capture during our engagement shoot and then our wedding night. She was calm and cool, which in turn, helped the entire day. Well not really sure where to start. When we began wedding planning I knew two things: We wanted a fall wedding and I needed Adriana to be our photographer. Not knowing much about her other than stalking her on the Knot or her website I decided to go for it & send her an email. Her response time was amazing-her communication throughout the entire process was amazing. My fiancé & I have never been in front of the camera in a professional manner before & were extremely nervous to see the outcome of our engagement shoot. She made us feel comfortable, excited and actually, confident. When we got our engagement shoot back we were stunned.. and we were counting down the days until we would see her again for our wedding. She added such a light to our special day. Her bubbly, fun personality and her awesome team made our wedding the best. We were sad to see her leave that night. We truly can't say enough good things about Adriana. Choosing her to be our photographer for our wedding was by far one of our BEST decisions throughout our wedding planning process. They made us laugh, continued to make us feel comfortable and stress-free, while still capturing every moment of our special day. We actually were sad when we had to say goodbye to them at the end of the night! Now to the photographs.. We received a sneak peak within TWO days of our wedding. I got chills when I saw them and how gorgeous they were. As far as the rest of our photographs, she managed to get them to us within a couple of weeks after our wedding!!! We couldn't believe how lucky we were to relive our day only a couple weeks after it happened. To wrap it up, Adriana is one of the most talented wedding photographers I know. Choosing Adriana to shoot our wedding is one of the best decisions I've ever made IN MY LIFE. As a photographer myself, I knew I needed to find someone I could trust to capture a full range of formal portraits, fun candids, and every detail in between. Let me start by saying we just got our pictures back (in a week and a half) and they are INCREDIBLE! I've looked at them close to 30 times. Adriana did an incredible job at capturing every beautiful moment and I truly feel like I am reliving the wedding. I saw some of Adriana's work through two of my friends that used her for their wedding. I immediately loved her "vibe". Her work comes off as very rustic, romantic and casual if you will. (although i'm sure shes capable of making any vibe you want work!) As soon as I got engaged I contacted her right away. My photographer was the only thing I was 1000 percent sure of for my wedding. We talked on webcam and she told me exactly what to expect. She was very realistic, warm and knowledgeable. She is very easy to talk to, very accommodating and answers your emails super fast. She made our engagement pictures beautiful even on an extremely hot day in the park. She is super quick with her work and always ready to keep moving. A few days before the wedding she asked how everything was going, if I needed anything, etc. (WHO DOES THAT?) The day of the wedding she came early with anther shooter and an assistant. I didn't see the other shooter much because she was with the boys but her work was also amazing! I LOVED her assistant. My whole bridal party had something to say about her! Her assistant would always see very minor details and made adjustments and I really appreciated them. Her and Adriana together were truly amazing. Both warm, funny, very laid back and ready to do anything/any shot that we wanted. Like I said about the engagement pictures, she was very fast and efficient which made us happy! Adriana is a rock star! An extremely talented photographer, a consummate professional, and an awesome person you want to be friends with. She was the first vendor we contacted, and she became our favorite and most trusted one. After researching many photographers in the tri-state area, we chose HereNorth because Adriana’s style matched our vision, and my husband and I knew we wanted to work with her after our first video chat. Over the next 15 months, Adriana responded promptly and thoroughly to our many (many…) questions, and when we asked for her advice on more general wedding planning, she offered very thoughtful suggestions about everything from timing/scheduling to whether we should do toasts and cake cutting. Adriana also traveled 2 hours each way to do a site visit with us, which was a great opportunity to exchange ideas and get to know her! Leading up to our wedding, Adriana made sure we had everything we needed and even agreed to arrive extra early to get some shots of me and my bridesmaids in hair/makeup before those vendors had to leave. This was something that was so important to us, and as soon as we came across HereNorth, we knew instantly that Adriana was the photographer for us. After seeing the work that she had done, we were completely floored at how well she could show love through a single photo. We had never been so confident that she was the perfect person for our day. I knew going in that our photos would be amazing. What I wasn't prepared for was her level of professionalism, her laid back personality, and her genuine desire to make couples feel at ease. Believe everything you read about her prompt replies and attention to detail. She has all the things you are looking for and more. I am 110% confident that each couple has a different reason for why she deserves 11/5 stars because she goes out of her way to make sure her couples are happy. For us, it was the small things - the details that you may not notice while you're together and you think back on in awe. Like the fact that we never saw her once during the ceremony or noticed a camera at all.... and those were my favorite photos in the album! If someone was holding a gun to my head I wouldn't be able to tell you where she was even standing during it. What is better than gorgeous photographs that perfectly capture the moment but never once pulled you out of the moment when you are in it. Unheard of!! Also, my husband and I are incredibly awkward in front of a camera and were nervous for our shots as bride and groom. But, she already scouted out the entire property before we started, knew exactly which photos she wanted to take, cued us up so we didn't feel silly but also gave us freedom to still be ourselves, and moved efficiently so we had all of the photos we wanted but got to get back to the party as soon as possible. She fit herself into the day seamlessly and for that I am forever grateful! I highly urge you to hire Adriana and discover how she will wow you and your partner!
