s a lack of professionalism from the owner, every time I said something she would talk over me. The wedding day was worse, the chapel & bathroom were dirty, and there were buckets of dying flowers left around. A cleaning crew left wet floors & piles of trash while we were trying to take photos. We asked multiple times for the buckets to be moved, they are in most of my photos & video. The night before the owner told us not to worry about rain and that they do this a lot. At 3, they told me to make a decision on having the ceremony outside, it was only rain so I kept it. The DJ later told us that he can’t play music in the rain, the venue failed to mention that earlier; I thought they had a rain plan for music outside, due to them telling me not to worry. After asking for our planners, they walk in and & the owner says someone wanted to see me? (this is the first time we’ve seen her all day). I said we haven’t seen her all day, she looked at me and said well what did you expect? (I expected her, as our planner to be helpful & there during my day). My dad told her what the DJ said, she said well yeah; his music equipment can’t get wet , I told her my photographers are out in the rain, she said that was different, his equipment is electrical (I get it, but if that was the case she should’ve told us that when we told them to keep the ceremony outside). She then said she thought it was common sense to know that the speakers can’t go outside. My dad said that if we can’t have music outside, we need to move it inside. She got mad, started slamming and moving stuff around. My photographer asked the DJ if he could play music from inside the chapel, towards the ceremony, he said absolutely. When we found that out, we told her to keep it outside. She slammed her hand down on a table and yelled what do you want? What we wanted was to have our ceremony outside like we planned; with our music. My photographer also had to find clear umbrellas, the venue didn’t get them out for us. (During this, I sat in the corner of the room, crying on my wedding day thanks to the venue owner.) We were disappointed with our florals. I was very specific to avoid roses (this was special to me, from my late Papa) for most of the bridal party, they still gave all of the men roses. All bouquets & aisle decor were not as expected & the quality didn’t match what was shown on the their social media. The corsages for the mothers were given only after multiple requests, they seemed poorly made and the wrist pieces were too big. There were also construction noises coming from the venue, it was distracting. Several details were wrong or overlooked at the reception & the bathrooms were dirty. There was no one outside from the venue directing guests. The owner and her assistant never once said a nice word to me, never made me feel like a bride and definitely never made it feel like it was my special day. The owner made me cry on my wedding day and I will remember that forever. In my opinion, it’s all about the money for them and they were unprofessional. They have huge wedding here, I think those are the only ones they care about. We had a small wedding, but still spent a large amount of money. I wanted to make this review in hopes to save another bride from having her day ruined the same way mine was.

spanish moss and low country charm. We were so lucky we got to work with Bethany Hewitt as our planner and her wonderful assistant BeBe. Bethany is the most hardworking and passionate vendor I have ever met. She took our vision and brought it to life. My husband and I were in awe of how wonderful everything turned out. It truly felt like a fairytale. We still have guests messaging us telling us it was the most incredible wedding they have ever attended. Our decor was picture perfect and the food was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Hewitt Oaks. The process start to finish was a great experience.

We got married in April 2024 after a nearly two-year long engagement, and the Hewitt Oaks team held our hand every single step of the way, guiding us down the path to success and helping to make our vision come to life. Brigette, our wedding planner, did an incredible job - she was responsive, attentive, and accommodating, always willing to answer our (many, many) questions and making sure we stayed on track. We can’t hep but to mention Bethany, the owner and event designer, too - she is an absolute gem of a person, making sure that we felt taken care of throughout the entirety of the process leading up to (and throughout) wedding day. We can’t say enough about the job those two did! Obviously, the venue itself is breathtaking, but what truly sets the Hewitt Oaks team apart is their attention to detail in the decor and ambience, which transformed the venue into the EXACT vision we laid out to them. The catering was exceptional as well; we’re not talking about “wedding food” here. Hewitt Oaks provided what felt like a fine-dining experience for us and our guests, and had everyone talking about how good the food and service was long after wedding day had come and gone. Overall, we cannot recommend Hewitt Oaks highly enough. They made our wedding day not only memorable, but truly magical, and exactly what we had in mind. tt Oaks was on our list and (honestly) at the top of our budget. Our tour was with the OWNER of the venue- that alone spoke volumes to us. Bethany has a hand in every detail and made every step of the way personal, special, and memorable. We toured the same day they had an event and it was impactful how many staff members they had and the attention to detail we saw. They were literally re-landscaping to match that events colors and themes. Once we knew they had availability, we said "YES" immediately. THEY ARE EXPERTS!! Our planner, Brigette, was amazing and took care of EVERY detail (even the ones we had not thought to ask about). She got right to the heart of our theme, design, and dreams for the day and RAN with it. From helping us pick out the appetizers for cocktail hour, to bringing us some while we were taking photos to make sure we ate, she was by our side. She orchestrated the day perfectly. Their preferred vendors list is a gold mine for professionals in the area. The value is unmatched at Hewitt Oaks. If I knew then what I know now, choosing Hewitt Oaks would have been the EASIEST decision of my wedding planning! Do it!!

We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, reception, and dancing all outside under the angel oaks. The Hewitt Oaks team took our vision and brought it to life! I am not sure if we got more compliments on the food (which was delicious), the venue including the landscaping, or the overall experience the Hewitt Oaks team provided. We worked with Madi Campbell whose unyielding patience, guidance, and support during the planning process was unparalleled. The Hewitt Oaks team made our wedding dreams come true and we will forever cherish the memories they helped us make on our special day.

taff were incredible. We had a year after we signed with them before our wedding and during that time, they sent us cute Christmas packages, date night gifts and more. They are just very thoughtful and genuine people that truly care about their couples.The staff are amazing, the food is to die for, the venue and planning is incredible. You can’t go wrong! I feel like Hewitt Oaks is a hidden gem that will take off in the next few years. They also provided a recommended vendors list that had some seriously incredible people on it. We relied on Hewitt Oaks for pretty much everything they could do in house- even the recs of the other vendors they couldn’t provide! I had my dream wedding with wonderful vendors and people to share it with. Truly thankful to have found Hewitt Oaks as our wedding venue. ❤️❤️

Planning was easy, the food tasting was great (delicious food) and the day of the wedding was more than perfect. Everybody was so nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend this venue 100%. It is gorgeous there and our pictures are unbelievable!

Brigette our planner was always quick to respond to any of our questions and concerns, which was perfect as we were planning a destination wedding at their venue and had to travel. Set up and tear down was as simple as could be as they took care of it all for us! Decor and florals were arranged with our package and they honestly couldn’t have been more perfect. The food was incredible from appetizers to dessert buffet. Our specialty cocktail was delish and they even let us name it after our cat back home, Peachy. I genuinely can’t say enough positive things about this venue. If you are considering Hewitt Oaks for your special day, we would say go for it! You won’t be disappointed!

Crystal was a rock star and make everything so simple and easy, I didn’t have to worry about any of the “stress” that comes along with wedding planning because I had someone I trusted 100% to make all my dreams come true. I recommend Hewitt Oaks to anyone I talk to that’s planning a wedding!!

re every little detail was taken care of so that we could truly enjoy our day with our loved ones. Our family and friends have all reached out to us to tell us how much fun they had and that they truly enjoyed their time at our wedding. All the staff at Hewitt Oaks really makes you feel at home from the second you have your first call to your venue tour up to your big day! I couldn't have asked for anything better.

better! Not only was the reception set up just the way I had envisioned but the food was amazing!! Our wedding guests said that the appetizers and the main meal was the best reception food that they had ever had!! If I could give more stars, I would!

ing the day feel super magical. Our day was set to be outside, ceremony and reception, however, there was a threat of rain. The staff was quickly able to move the reception inside seamlessly. Moving the reception indoors was probably the best decision, our guests never left the dance floor. I think this would have been different if we stayed outside, since it was so hot out. Food was delicious! Signature drink was delightful and refreshing. It was also super helpful they handed all the details by dealing with the flowers, cake, centerpieces, etc. The staff, all around, were super sweet and helpful. Kristyn, my day of coordinator made sure things ran smoothly and she is such a sweetheart. My only and biggest disappointment was the photographer. We had our photographer included in our package. I was not able to gain access to her information beforehand, which is fine! However, I would have preferred having a conference call between Hewitt Oaks, the photographer and myself to go over what I wanted and my expectations. The grounds on Hewitt Oaks is one of the main reasons I was drawn to it and I just felt our photographer did not utilize that to her advantage. Many of our photos had the same background (one of the buildings). I wanted the trees and Spanish moss to be a big aspect of our day and photos and there were not many, so that was a huge let down. Overall, this is the perfect wedding location with that great southern charm. The staff went above and beyond and our day was absolutely beautiful.

gorgeous rentals, byob, florals, and event planning. All of this made it 500x less stressful to plan. Crystal was a dream to work with and made the day perfect for us!! She’s simply the BEST! Our guests are still raving about how it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve been to and how amazing the food was, and that the cake was the best they ever had!
