Heyday Farm is the best kept wedding secret in Seattle. It is the perfect venue for a couple planning a wedding with a smaller guest list and desire to focus on an intimate experience and excellent food & drinks. We hosted our 22-person wedding here in July and were just blown away by how attentive the staff was and how effortlessly gorgeous the grounds were. When my husband and I began our wedding venue search, we were really discouraged by the price and quality of venues in Seattle and/or the cookie cutter feeling of venues within an hour's drive. But when we finally stumbled across Heyday Farm, it was an instant match. For those of you considering Heyday, I highly recommend booking a dinner reservation and arranging for a tour of the grounds. It's the perfect way to explore the venue, get a sense for what the menu will be like, and meet the staff! Speaking of the team at Heyday, their communication, support, and organization was totally unmatched. They went above and beyond for us in so many ways, and our wedding day was perfect.
We had our rehearsal dinner here on a gorgeous, sunny evening. The food was excellent, and the space was perfect for our party of 30. Our bridal party LOVED the space!
My husband and I absolutely loved Heyday Farm as our wedding venue! We had already heard wonderful reviews of their Tuesday community dinners and in going to their website to make a reservation, learned that the farm could also be reserved for weddings. It was the first venue we considered and after a tour with farm host extraordinaire, Shari Stoddard, we knew we needed to look no further. We loved the beautiful and quaint setting. In preparation for our big day, we had several meetings with Shari. She was fantastic to work with and such a great communicator. She was invaluable in providing recommendations for rentals such as tent, tables, chairs, dining ware, etc. She also provided local suggestions for our flowers and cake. We made our choices and were incredibly pleased with all of them. The wedding day itself was perfect. Our ceremony was lovely and the appetizers, dinner and drinks that followed were exquisite. Their sweetly decorated barn was the site for our DJ and dancing. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they ever attended. All in all it was an amazing day!
We couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. We were looking to have our wedding outdoors, ideally on a farm, on Bainbridge or Vashon Island. When we found Heyday, we immediately knew it was the right venue for us. It all started with speaking to Shari, the farmhouse coordinator. She was welcoming, extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and was detail- oriented. She was a joy to work with throughout our wedding planning and especially on the day - her calm demeanor, organization skills, great energy, and care to every aspect of the event were a gift. Shari really became a friend to us, and it still feels that way two years later. We were very excited that the food was being prepared on-site by the amazing culinary team at Heyday (with vegetables and dairy products from the farm). Chef Tad was so easy to work with - collaborative and open. We were able to craft a menu together, which he then executed perfectly with Noel. Shari helped us pick out local WA wines, which were all excellent and affordable. People still rave about the food from our wedding. We chose to stay on the farm for a few days prior to the wedding, and we wish we could have been there for longer. The farm is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and lovely, and the breakfasts prepared by Noel are insanely good (the homemade jams are still memorable to us). We felt so taken care of by the staff, and we also felt that they were so kind and considerate towards our family and friends. On the big day, everything ran smoothly, and I know the Heyday team was active in making sure that each guest was well taken care of, which took so much pressure off of us. If you're looking for a gorgeous location, for an intimate wedding, with excellent food, with extremely reasonable pricing, and a second to none staff, Heyday is your place.
