Hidden Meadows is the best venue ever! Not to mention it is beautiful whether your ceremony is held indoors or outdoors! It rained on our wedding day, so we had to last minute change the plan to the ceremony being held inside. Mick and our day of coordinator quickly set up everything to be indoor. We also loved working with Mick! He's very attentive, helpful, and was hilarious. He answered all of our questions very quickly. Thank you to Mick for helping make my new Hubby and I's wedding day the best day of our lives. We highly recommend that you book Hidden Meadows as your venue!
We loved working with Mick at Hidden Meadows. He was so flexible with when we could come walk around and plan out the details for our day as well as very communicative through email. Everything was set up the way we wanted it day of and our day went perfect. We were able to wait until the day of to decide if the ceremony would be indoor or outdoors and luckily the weather forecast was amazing so we didn’t quite have to wait til the day of, but it was an option! The property offers so many scenic views and is large enough to spread out! We had the best day!!!
Absolutely beautiful, helpful, and kind. I have nothing but nice things to say about Hidden Meadows. My wedding was perfect and that is in part due to the beautiful venue we had it at.
All I can say about Hidden Meadows is “WOW!” Mick and his team are super nice and easy to work with! We were taken care of every step of the way! The grounds are stunning and the separate suites for the bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready in are well fitted to really make your day feel even more special! The venue is on beautiful property and has such a fantastic background for wedding photos. Gorgeous flowers, plants, and trees decorate the venue, topped with a spacious gazebo for getting married, a spectacular long breezeway/entrance adorned with white drapes and twinkle lights and a classy reception area that allows you to feel inside and outside at the same time. All of the staff are super friendly and they work really hard to make sure everyone is having a great time and are taken care of. Their catering company (Wooden Spoon) is also amazing!! We received compliments all night long! Hidden Meadows goes above and beyond to make sure your big day is everything and more than you could have ever imagined! Our wedding was stress free, effortless, and beautiful, all thanks to Mick and his staff. There’s no better venue than Hidden Meadows! You will love it!
Mick was very responsive and flexible with everything. The wedding was gorgeous and the venue was stunning.
I remember when I was looking for a wedding venue, I came across Hidden Meadows online. The pictures that I saw of the venue were beautiful! I decided to go in with my fiancee during one of their open houses. We were having a hard time finding a place for the right price, the right amount of space, and the right amount of time given on the big day. This was the first place my fiancee and I immediately felt RIGHT about. The price was affordable, we got the place for 12 hours, there were bridal and groom suites to get ready in, you could have your ceremony inside or outside depending on the weather, and Mick (the owner) just gave us an overall good feeling about getting married there. We are so glad we booked our venue with them! Mick is very down to earth, has been doing weddings at his family owned venue for years, and he knows his stuff! He made every bit of the process easy and stress-free. He was always there to answer my questions via email, he made time in his busy schedule to meet up with us outside of open house hours to go over all our questions in person, he made a "blueprint" for us to have a visual of what the reception hall would look like on our big day according to what we had discussed, he is just SO helpful. I have never planned a wedding before and he was an amazing resource for any and all questions wedding. He was there the day of the wedding to give me pretty much everything I wanted. He helped me unpack all the alcohol from my car when I arrived, he set up the chairs in the ceremony and reception hall, he set up the tables the way I wanted for the reception, if I didn't like something, he fixed it. He made my husband and I feel so special on our wedding day! My dad also told me that every time he walked toward the bar during our wedding, Mick was there to hand him a full glass of his favorite beer. If not him, the bartender was on top of it. The fact that he made my husband and father feel so special speaks volumes to the kind of person you're working with! Everything was just perfect. I can't recommend this venue enough! You won't regret it!
Mick and all of the staff at Hidden Meadows were amazing! They made the planning process smooth and uncomplicated. Mick made both of us feel like we were their top priority and answered all of our many questions. The facilities themselves were comfortable and extremely photogenic. The bridal and grooms rooms were the perfect size for getting ready. The grounds were accessible to our grandparents and other guests who needed accommodations. Put them at the top of your list!
Two years ago my daughter, her bridesmaids and I set out to find a wedding and reception venue for my daughter's wedding. The only criteria was that it would need to be in the Snohomish, WA area. We ultimately settled on Hidden Meadows, due to the absolutely stunning views and the great reviews that we had seen during our research.
We were a little concerned about the initial interaction with the venue manager, but overlooked that given the venue was beautiful. Looking back, I do believe I should have trusted my instincts. The experience we had with Hidden Meadows, from a service perspective, was poor.
The reception room had a dirty floor when we arrived to set up, we had to ask for heat to be turned on due to an unexpected cold day, (of which we were told that no heat was available in the reception area so we found our guests wearing coats and wraps during the reception), and we had to ask repeatedly to have the furniture and tables moved to match the layout map that we had agreed to months before. In addition, our contract indicated that we would be able to rent place settings and table linens through Hidden Meadow, only to find out 3 months before the wedding, when we tried to confirm numbers for the rental items, that they no longer offer that service and hadn't done so for a year. We had great difficulty arranging meetings with the venue manager and were never able to reach him by phone. It worked best to email and wait for his response several days later.
Since the wedding, we have learned that wedding parties no longer can have a choice of caterers; but must use the exclusive caterer for Hidden Meadows which, in our opinion, is not anywhere near the best caterer in the Snohomish area (see my review for Trails End Catering). And, lastly, we found the mahogany tables that we were told we could use and were beautiful enough not to need tablecloths, turned out to be tables that were chipped, water damaged and stained.
Per our contract, we were to have been notified about the return of our damage deposit and we were not notified within the contractual timeframe. I had to follow up myself to ensure that the check I had left with Hidden Meadows had been shredded.
Overall, I'd recommend Hidden Meadows highly for the actual views on a good day; I would not recommend them at all based on the quality of their services.
Our day was truly perfect. Mick and the HM team were so helpful along the way, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The location of the venue is gorgeous, in the valley of Snohomish. We got as lucky as having a clear view of the mountains, Paragliders in the air after the ceremony and hot air balloons after dinner! I didn’t worry about weather, even in May, because HM has an indoor ceremony set up as well as an outdoor. Rain or shine, the day went on without a flaw. I used all of the recommendations from Mick for Rehearsal Dinner, Rentals, Officiant, DJ, and Catering after doing thorough research, and on the day-of everyone worked together seamlessly! Mick was quick to respond to emails and was able to meet up and accommodate venue visits, early rehearsals and on the day of, helped my friends and family with everything they needed to set up and get the venue ready. The venue itself hardly needs decorating it is such a beautifully laid out area, the ceremony lawn, open patio, fire pit lounge and covered dining and dancing hall are perfect. If I could do it all over again I wouldn’t change a thing!
Our dream wedding at the best venue in Snohomish. Mick and the other staff are AMAZING. Their suggested vendors are ALSO fabulous. We had guest raving about the food and the dance floor was packed the ENTIRE time! Best Day Ever
We could not have been happier with choosing Hidden Meadows as our ceremony and reception venue! The entire staff was extremely professional and easy to work with. From quick responses, answering any questions we had, to creating the best day of our lives! It had rained on our wedding day and Hidden Meadows made the switch from outdoor ceremony to indoor ceremony which turned out just absolutely beautiful! Their cocktail hour space was super fun with the patio and fireplace, and the reception hall was so amazing! All of our friends and family keep talking about what an incredible space Hidden Meadows was. Thank you Mick for helping mine and Tom's day the absolute best! We can thank you all enough!
Just got married here in June, and could not be happier with how everything went. Mick, the venue owner is amazing to work with and the venue offered everything we were looking for and more. Beautiful location, especially when the weather cooperates!
Mick was amazing to work with, he let us tour the venue multiple times before the wedding and was accommodating for any last minute changes! We got married May 18th and the weather was perfect, the garden was green and beautiful and the venue was so spacious to hold 200 of my guests! Would highly recommend !
Mick was fantastic to work with throughout our process, beginning with the initial booking and then throughout the months leading to our wedding. The venue is gorgeous and our photographers were able to get some fantastic shots of hot air balloons in the background.
My only "complaint" is minor; there was a miscommunication between Hidden Meadows and us regarding when we needed to pack up and whether we could leave things overnight. It was a minor inconvenience, but we had to end earlier than planned so that there was time to clear out our stuff.
Our inconvenience aside, Hidden Meadows is an amazing venue and Mick is fantastic to work with.
My wife and I got married at Hidden Meadows and we had a great experience working with the Stocker family. All of our vendors were really excited to hear we were having our wedding at Hidden Meadows because they have great relationships with the Stocker family. Mick and Tyler were so helpful with the many questions we had and helped put us at ease. The venue is gorgeous and provided the perfect backdrop for our friends and family visiting Snohomish for the first time. Our guests were all impressed with the venue and had nothing but good things to say. We also had the Wooden Spoon cater our wedding and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend working with Mick, Tyler and the entire Stocker family if you are looking for a wedding venue in the Snohomish area.
Mick was incredible in helping us with all of our questions, we were so excited to have our wedding at such a gorgeous location. It was raining the day prior to the wedding, but on the day of, everything was beautiful and we even got glimpses of hot air balloons! Highly recommend Hidden Meadows and Mick for your big day!
We had our wedding here in early September and could not have asked for a better venue. We were set on having our ceremony on the lawn under the gazebo with the gorgeous backdrop, but it was nice to have a plan B inside. The lawn was perfect for us to have giant Jenga and bean bag toss during cocktail hour/reception. The reception barn, which has large sliding doors that open up to the patio area was the perfect layout for guests to get around freely. We also loved how easy it was to place our other vendors (photo booth and DJ). All our guests were in awe by how beautiful the venue was.
We worked with Mick throughout the planning process and bugged him with so many questions/requests for visits and he was always professional, friendly, responsive, and honest. We were also pleasantly surprised by new additions to the venue which came with our rental, but were added on after we signed our contract, including new wood slab tables available to use for sweetheart/wedding party tables, and renovations to build out the bridal suite. We would highly recommend Hidden Meadows and Mick for your wedding venue needs!
Hidden Meadows was great. I love the people that work there. They are so nice.
Hidden Meadows was our literal DREAM venue! Mick was SO AWESOME to work with throughout the entire process! I can't say enough good things about Hidden Meadows, it was literally perfection.
Mick was wonderful. From the moment we set foot on the site for a tour we knew this was the place. The venue is perfect, nothing needs to be added to it. From the ceremony's outdoor simplicity, to the rustic beauty of the reception hall, Hidden Meadows has it all :) When it comes to communication Mick does a good job getting back to you, and if you find you aren't sure of what vendor to use he has suggestions. He is there the entire night to ensure all is taken care of. Highly Recommended location, beauty cannot be matched for an outdoor/indoor wedding venue here in Washington.
Hidden Meadows is a dream venue. I received pricing from 40+ venues in Seattle and Snohomish and Hidden Meadows ranked just under the average cost. Mick is very responsive and answered my million questions throughout the process. The venue is beautiful - you can take pictures anywhere on the property and they will turn out stunning. They do a great job with landscaping and all my guests raved about the location. Something that stood out for me was how quiet it is - I looked at another venue in Snohomish that was much too close to the road, this is perfectly quiet.
It really met all of my criteria - in the Pacific Northwest, weather is always a wild card, even in the summer. Very few venues offer an indoor and outdoor option for a ceremony. I wanted outdoor, but it was a comfort to have the option of a beautiful indoor facility as back up.
The bridal suite is great and offers a lot of room for the girls to hang out. The guys room could use some improvements or entertainment (maybe a TV?), so we just had the guys arrive much later in the day.
Like a lot of venues, they do require you to use one of their preferred caterers, but I highly recommend The Wooden Spoon - owned by Mick's brother.
The only downside is no use of fireworks (for the exit) or anything that can't be easily cleaned up (confetti, petals). Luckily our videographer was married here and told us to use these streamer poppers from Amazon that stay connected - they worked great. It is also a bummer that there aren't more hotels that are closer. Our wedding party had to stay in Bothell about 20 minutes away, so we ended up having to spend extra for a shuttle.
Regardless of those small details, it's an amazing venue, with a great setup. Doors that open from the reception to the outside made the venue not feel crowded, lots of parking, the fire pit with couches is a cute cozy spot, the bar setup is great and the gazebo for outdoor ceremonies has a beautiful backdrop. Highly recommend this venue!
What an amazing day! Everyone interacted seamlessly. We knew we would get married here from the moment we walked up.
This venue is breathtaking, and perfect for a good size of a wedding. Working with Mick was so simple and he went the extra mile to make the day perfect for us. This venue was more than big enough for our guest size of 175 and the view at night is so beautiful. I would recommend this venue to anyone!!
Hidden Meadows was the perfect venue to have our wedding at. Beautiful venue no matter whether you have the ceremony indoors or outdoors. Mick is beyond amazing, he made us feel so at ease during our wedding day. We are so happy with our experience and highly recommend them to anyone!!
It was our dream venue but they don't allow service dogs
We had our wedding here IN THE RAIN and it ended up being perfect. Mick is amazing - he was always friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful. HM has amazing space and awesome rentals onsite to choose from. Hands down - best Seattle area wedding venue!
Great place to have a wedding or reception inside and/or out! The Stockers are professional, easy to work with, and very helpful. You will not be disappointed, the views are amazing!
THE BEST!! From the first moment I step onto the grounds at Hidden Meadows I knew this is where I wanted to get married. From the venue itself to the staff it was nothing short of perfect!
My husband and I had our wedding at Hidden Meadows this past September 2014 and had an amazing experience! We visited several venues in the Snohomish area, but Hidden Meadows was by far the most beautiful and had flexible options for vendors as well as no corkage fees for alcohol which saved us a ton of money! The venue is gorgeous and very spacious! We really appreciated that we had both indoor and outdoor options to choose from since the weather in Washington can be unpredictable. Mick Stocker who runs the venue was amazing to work with! He was so responsive to emails and the 100’s of questions I kept sending his way. He was also very accommodating making time for us to come up to venue for multiple visits. They have a ton of decorative items you can rent rather than having to go buy a bunch of stuff and then being stuck with having to resell it after your wedding. While Mick is there the entire day to help with anything setup wise, I think it would be such an asset for this venue to have a day-of coordinator to help with things. Many of the venues in the area offered this and looking back it would have been so helpful. I had a girlfriend of mine serve as mine and she did an amazing job. But it would have been nice if she could have enjoyed the wedding a little more rather than running around making sure everything was running smoothly. Overall, we had a great experience with Hidden Meadows and highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a gorgeous place to say I Do!
We got married on September 6th 2014 at Hidden Meadows. We were torn between Hidden Meadows and Lord Hill Farms. There 2 main issues that ultimetly hlped us go with Hidden Meadows; tasting the food before booking, and corking fees.
We ended up booking Hidden Meadows in April 2013 (almost a year and half before our wedding). We bugged Mick many times during that year and half and never once did he ignore us or push us off. He was extremely accommodating.
Since our date was on a Saturday we had 1st pick at the rehearsal time, but it had to be on the Wednesday prior which didn't work with travel arrangement. Mick worked with us to accommodate other options.
All I heard all evening was how beautiful the venue was. Flower and green grass everywhere.
I would recommend Hidden Meadows to anyone looking for 200+ people at a wedding in Snohomish.
There is a damage deposit (most places have this) which is $800 but we didn't have anything taken out of this and it was just torn up and never deposited!
Great job Hidden Meadows, you made my wedding day go amazingly!! THANK YOU!!
Hosting our wedding and reception at Hidden Meadows was the best wedding decision we made throughout our whole planning process. Hidden Meadows has it all: breathtaking views of the mountains and rolling countryside, beautiful renovated barn, outdoor/indoor options if it rains, large onsite parking lot, paved walkways for easy handicap access, and the absolute BEST venue coordinator to work with, Mick Stocker. Hidden Meadows as an establishment is absolutely stunning, but what made having our wedding there so great was the helpfulness of Mick and his organization, open/quick communication throughout planning, problem resolution, and friendliness. All of our guests at our wedding could not stop commenting how beautiful Hidden Meadows was, and what a great space it was to get married in. There were even hot air balloons that touched down in the field next to the venue and hung in the air as the evening wore on. I would absolutely recommend this venue to any bride and groom looking to have the most memorable wedding of a lifetime.
We had our wedding here on a sunny Saturday in August. Except it didn't start out sunny. One of the reasons we wanted this venue was for it's indoor/outdoor option. Being August, we were going for the outdoor option. It rained and thunder stormed and hailed about 3 times that day, and after each bout, Mick and his crew dried off all 200 chairs so the guests would have dry seats. The sun did come out (and boy was it HOT) just before the ceremony and the grounds were beautiful. Staff was excellent in setting up all chairs and tables and Mick was an excellent host, providing anything we needed to make the day super special. Every single one of our guests told us how beautiful the venue was and how much they loved attending a wedding there. There are so many options to decorate, a wonderful built in bar with two built in taps, and plenty of room for guests to mingle. They offer a cheaper price for Friday nights or Sundays, and not many places in the area offer an indoor/outdoor option with only one day's notice.
What a gorgeous a versatile venue. Completely happy that we went with Hidden Meadows to host our wedding. Mick the owner, is so friendly, quick to respond, and easy to work with. We made multiple visits along with emails and calls and he never got annoyed or frustrated! :) I would recommend this venue to any bride.
Getting married in my hometown of Snohomish was magical to me. Living in NYC for the last 6 years my friends and new family haven't ever gotten the chance to see the beauty of Washington, much less the amazingness of my town of Snohomish. I loved this venue because it was made to knock your sox off! You have the small town customer service (that most brides die for), You have the choice of an indoor/outdoor wedding (only had to give 2 hours notice in case the weather was well... seattle weather). The views of the Cascade mountains, with the country landscape of farm land surrounding us along with the train tracks, cherry trees, the outdoor HEATED bar, it was the perfect place to show the beauty Snohomish, and Washington had to offer. I made the right choice from day one, and never thought any different during the 2 year wedding process!
Everyone at hidden meadows is very helpful. Price is mid range but is worth every penny chairs and tables were set up for us just how we wanted it and the venue is gorgeous. I loved that they have an indoor or outdoor option. Always nice to have in Washington. The reception area is right there and there is tons of parking. Most places I visited you have to pay per table and chair and all that was included. You do have to use one of their preferred caterers and I wish they had more options of caterers but we ended up using Barry's and they were very affordable!
Hidden Meadows was the first venue we looked at and fell instantly in love. The grounds are beautiful and even more so when all the flowers are in bloom. The only negative I have is the bridal sweet. The room is small and can get very warm when you have a bunch of girls getting ready. But overall a wonderful experience.
Once we visited this venue we knew we didn't have to look any further. The venue was gorgeous- and not just the grounds itself, but everything surrounding this place was a view. Amazing barn, great covered patio with a built-in bar, more rental items than you can imagine. Had a spacious bridal and groom's suite. We could not have been happier with our choice-- and our guests still tell us it was the best wedding of the summer!
The staff was genuine, polite and helpful. The price was just right, and everything from the parking lot to the bathrooms were clean, clutter free, organized and absolutely beautiful.
Hidden Meadows is so beautiful. We knew it was right immediately upon pulling into the parking lot. It's family owned/run by the most wonderful, honest, and genuine people. They were so helpful in every step of the planning. They have a large assortment of rental items on site. So there was no need to rent from other places and have to worry about logistics. I was wonderful and couldn't have been more perfect.
The family who runs Hidden Meadows really knows what they are doing. They were fabulous to work with. And the location is gorgeous. I think I got more compliments from my guests on the location than on anything else.
I got married on a Sunday at Hidden Meadows and everything was set up just like I had asked for. They are easy to work with and the cost is well worth it. I got soo many compliments on how gorgeous it was. I would recommend Hidden Meadows to anyone!
We fell in love with Hidden Meadows from the moment we arrived. It is set in the valley in snohomish. You can get married outside, and ther is an indoor option as well. (perfect for unpredictable seattle weather) Its a little spendy, but well worth it. We got so many compliments on how beautiful of a venue it was, and photo ops are endless. The staff at Hidden Meadows are amazing as well.
I loved this place! We had so many compliments on how beautiful the ceremony & reception were. They take good care of you and give you a choice of 6 caterers to choose from. You get the venue for 12 hours and there is an option to bring your own alcohol. Definately would recommend!
The second that I saw Hidden Meadows, I knew that this was the perfect place for my wedding. The grounds are beautiful, the staff constantly go above and beyond to make your day exactly what you want. I HIGHLY recommend Hidden Meadows for anyone looking for a venue!
Hidden Meadows made all of my dreams come true! They did an amazing job meeting all of my needs and making my special day come to life. I would recommend them to any bride looking for a modern, elegant country feel.
Hidden Meadows is a gorgeous location that will host a small or large wedding comfortably. A must in Western Washington, they have a totally separate area for an indoor wedding in case you wanted an outdoor wedding but weather doesn't work out well. They also have TONS of beautiful things to rent and use for a very reasonable price. Everyone there is so helpful and prompt with their responses to phone or email. I HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone looking for an excellent event at a beautiful, but not stuffy, location!
The people here are excellent to work with and it is a beyond beautiful venue. Rustic elegance!
