If you are looking for a wedding venue in Central, MA .. look no further! A few months into wedding planning, my fiance and I needed a new venue. We picked one Saturday and went to numerous locations and met with many different coordinators. On our way to the last venue, we were feeling tired and discourage. From the second we walked into Highfields, our spirits were lifted. The setting is gorgeous, the facility is beautiful and from the moment we met Ann Marie, we knew that this was the place. Over the next few months, the wedding planning was smooth and stress-free! Ann Marie was on top of every detail and made sure that our night was going to be special. I can't thank her enough for all that she did. We had our ceremony off site, but used the bridal suite to get ready during the day - it was so nice to have that space and Ann Marie made sure we had everything we needed. The groomsmen also used their suite and had lunch in the tavern downstairs. When the limo company called to tell me they were going to late (very late), she took control so I did not have to deal with the situation. Her and another staff member were even ready to drive us to the church themselves! They went above and beyond the call of duty. The reception was perfect. We did stations and our guests had some many wonderful things to say about the food. They loved the different choices and said everything was delicious - they were going up for seconds! Our day was perfect and Ann Marie and the staff at Highfields were a huge part of that! We can't thank them enough.
Everything about our wedding day was perfect, and it's all thanks to Ann Marie! Every meeting was very organized, and she made sure that I never got overwhelmed with decisions. Highfields is absolutely beautiful, and we had the perfect fall day for our ceremony on the patio. Our family and friends raved about the food! I'm so happy that we created the wedding of our dreams at an affordable price.
My husband and I were married at Highfields on Saturday June 25, 2016. I can't say enough good things about this place. AnnMarie is an absolute delight to work with. She was so diligent in making sure that we had the day of our dreams. And when the day came, it was everything we imagined and more. The food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. We had such a beautiful view of the sunset from ballroom during dinner as well. It was such a perfect day at such a perfect venue.

We can't say enough nice things about Ann Marie, our wedding coordinator at Highfields. Yes, Highfields itself was a wonderful venue. It was absolutely gorgeous, the food was fantastic, the prices reasonable, and everything was maintained perfectly and held to a high standard. But let's be honest: when you choose Highfields, the REAL benefit is that you get to work with Ann Marie. My wife and I started planning our wedding about one year prior to the date, and the first thing we knew we had to do was find a venue. We looked at plenty of places all around the state. Then a friend of mine suggested Highfields because her sister had her wedding there. We ended up making an appointment with Ann Marie to go see everything, and wouldn't ya know it? Highfields was FIVE MINUTES away from our apartment!! Of course, when we got there we saw right away how amazing the building was and how beautiful the view was, and we knew that aesthetically Highfields would be perfect for us. Then we met Ann Marie...
Like I said before, we had met with a few different wedding coordinators at different venues, and they we're all kind and helpful if not a little boring, but Ann Marie was a huge surprise. Right from the get-go, she was extremely friendly and very outgoing but on a real-people level, not a dry "vendor-client" level. As our first meeting went on, she made us feel more and more at ease with the incredibly daunting task of planning our wedding, and we realized that we wouldn't be left to the wolves if we decided to go with Ann Marie. When we left, we knew right off the bat that this was where we were getting married.
Every meeting we had with Ann Marie from our first to our last went just as smoothly and was just as fun. She never let us get stressed out because she always reassured us that everything was under control and that we were NOT alone in the endeavor. She kept up with us on a regular basis between meetings, making sure we were meeting each deadline as they came. Not a single detail was missed, Ann Marie had EVERYTHING in mind: food, flowers, dress, tailoring, you name it.
Once the big day finally arrived, we were so calm that it surprised everyone. We had seen Ann Marie work only in the capacity of our one-on-one meetings, but when we saw her doing her thing the day of the wedding...WOW. She was on the proverbial ball, and the whole night went off without a hitch. Whenever we thought something was going to be an issue, or if we needed ANYTHING, Ann Marie was right there getting it taken care of. It was nothing short of awe-inspiring.
I could go on for days about the merits of having Ann Marie in our corner with our wedding, but I won't. If you want an amazing venue, with delicious food, and a wedding coordinator that will go to the ends of the earth to make sure that you're nothing but happy from the start of your planning to the day you say "I do", then you should choose Highfields.
My husband and I were married at Highfields Golf & Country Club Saturday May 16, 2015 and let me tell you our wedding left nothing to be desired! Everything was absolutely perfect. Walking into the ballroom and seeing everything put together made me feel like I was walking into a fairytale. If Matt or I needed anything AnnMarie was right there. She made sure we covered every last detail of our wedding. I don’t know that I will ever be able to sum up just how amazing our wedding at Highfields was but I can tell you it is somewhere worth looking into if you are getting married! You won’t be sorry! We loved everything about Highfields, we even had our rehearsal dinner there! The food at both the rehearsal and the wedding was amazing and delicious. I can’t say enough good things. Thank-you Highfields and AnnMarie for a perfect wedding beyond everything we ever could have imagined. Our guests have been buzzing about how it was one of the best weddings they’d ever been too!

My husband and I are so happy that we chose Highfields as our ceremony and reception venue! The coordinator, Ann Marie was very helpful and patient with my many questions throughout the wedding planning process. The day of the rehearsal Ann Marie was very thorough explaining how everything would go the night of the wedding. On the day of the wedding everything went off perfectly, everything started on time, the food was great and served in a timely manner and Ann Marie was always around to answer any questions we might have. Highfields was amazing!!!! The ground are beautiful, the staff is fantastic, Ann Marie is the best! Working with Ann Maire and all of the staff was a great experience, she checked in with me throughout the planning process and during all of our meetings continued to remind me that this was my day. The day of the wedding we were taken care of with kindness and respect. The staff were caring and ensured that we were eating throughout the day. I have absolutely zero complaints, My day was perfect and i highly recommend anyone who is getting married to choose Highfields, if the scenery does not win you over Ann Marie absolutely will.

Great food that is on-site with knowledgeable staff. We had 4 gluten allergies on our guest list, including me, and it was important that no one get sick!

They decided to rebuild the patio the week of my wedding, so it was closed. Bad timing, but what can you do?
The wedding coordinator I had originally signed up with quit shortly before our big day for personal reasons. The replacement was good, but I could see that being a good tough transition. I consider this to have been a minor issue, but I was a little miffed the old coordinator didn't announce it until after the tasting for the 2014 brides.
My tables were not set up correctly. Each individual table was correct, but the locations were off and mis-numbered. Small potatoes.
Working with Josie at Highfield's was a success from start to finish. As a public relations professional, I know the value that a well-organized, responsive & savvy event planner brings to any undertaking like a wedding. In the interest of saving busy brides the trouble of reading a long, drawn-out review, I'll make a list of the best aspects of Highfields.
-Any time I had a question, Josie responded quickly via phone AND email.
-The food was amazing, and all my guests raved about it.
-Josie was willing to work with any special requests/details we wanted to make our wedding stand out.
-Josie had a great list of vendors and advice for getting the highest-quality products out of these vendors.
-Day-of, Josie and the staff were highly responsive to the needs of the bride/groom, from helping make sure the wedding moved along to making sure our favorite drinks were waiting for us at our dinner table.
-Josie took care of every detail so that we could just sit back and enjoy our day, stress-free.
I literally have NO complaints about our wedding at Highfields and would HIGHLY recommend Josie & her team to any bride/groom out there!

Josie and her team did a fantastic job the day of our wedding. Everything went so smooth and Olivia the waitress made sure that the bridal party was taken care of the entire day. The food was great - we have received so many compliments on the presentation of the food as well as the quality. Josie worked great with our other vendors to make sure that everything that needed to be done was taken care of. As with every other venue, patience is key when planning and coordinating. I highly recommend checking out this venue...you won't be disappointed. Stunning views, spacious bridal suite, and fantastic grounds made our wedding absolutely perfect.
My daughters wedding day was PERFECT in every way. We had the reception at Highfields and it was absolutely stunning. Everything from the beginning of the wedding planning with Josie to the very end, even after it was over to cleaning up went exceptionally perfect. I cannot say enough about how much we were so pleased with everything. Josie was absolutely the best to work with and very professional in every aspect and detail from the biggest to the smallest. She was a pleasure to work with and made our day extremely very special in every way. Everything looked so beautiful, and we received so many compliments and still are on how beautiful everything was. I would highly recommend Highfields for a wedding/reception, or just a reception as we did, and working with Josie because she is amazing in what she does and as a person, and we did not have to worry about a thing, as she made our daughters wedding reception very memorable, personable, and worry free! Josie is a pleasure to work with and very helpful in the planning. She is open to provide suggestions is you need them. There are plenty of places to take beautiful photos on location and the food was great.
My wedding was just over 2 weeks ago at Highfields and i can't say enough about how amazing it was. From planning to execution, everything went absolutely perfect. Josie, the wedding coordinator at Highfields, helped me every step of the way, and even gave me her personal cell phone number in case I had questions or concerns the last week or two before the wedding. She was extremely helpful and able to answer questions I had regarding the layout, timeline, and everything else. The actual day of the wedding went so smoothly, I couldnt have asked for a better day. The food was AMAZING, tables looked perfect, and everything we planned went off without a hitch. I HIGHLY recommend Highfields for a wedding reception. The view was amazing too!
Highfields was so incredible- from the planning to the actual day Josie made everything easy and fun. The event went incredibly smooth and they did an incredible job organizing and implementing our decorations. The venue was beautiful especially as the sun was setting. The food was delicious and it was the best value for our money. Overall, perfect!
We had our wedding for 175 guests at Highfields. Josie is amazing to work with and made sure everything ran smoothly on our wedding day. The meetings we had with her prior to the wedding made us feel very comfortable with all of our choices. She was always avilable via email, phone or for a meeting in person. The food was amazing, the room was set up beautifully, the staff was very attentive and the bridal suite was great added bonus. It was a nice place to keep the bridal parties belongings and a quite place to take a 5 minute break when needed during the evening. Over all Josie and her staff went above and beyond our expectations. I would highly recomend Highfields to everyone.
Perfect location for my wedding of about 120 people. Relatively new facility with beautiful windows providing panoramic views. The food was excellent and the service even better. By far, the best part was the new coordinator, Josie Billiel. She went above and beyond (e.g., taking pictures of the set up for us before guests arrived without being asked, helping to bring gifts out to the car at the end of the night). Everything ran so smoothly and efficiently. It was a perfect night and I could not be happier.
