We had such a beautiful view of the sunset from ballroom during dinner as well. It was such a perfect day at such a perfect venue.

But let's be honest: when you choose Highfields, the REAL benefit is that you get to work with Ann Marie. My wife and I started planning our wedding about one year prior to the date, and the first thing we knew we had to do was find a venue. We looked at plenty of places all around the state. Then a friend of mine suggested Highfields because her sister had her wedding there. We ended up making an appointment with Ann Marie to go see everything, and wouldn't ya know it? Highfields was FIVE MINUTES away from our apartment!! Of course, when we got there we saw right away how amazing the building was and how beautiful the view was, and we knew that aesthetically Highfields would be perfect for us. Then we met Ann Marie... Like I said before, we had met with a few different wedding coordinators at different venues, and they we're all kind and helpful if not a little boring, but Ann Marie was a huge surprise. Right from the get-go, she was extremely friendly and very outgoing but on a real-people level, not a dry "vendor-client" level. As our first meeting went on, she made us feel more and more at ease with the incredibly daunting task of planning our wedding, and we realized that we wouldn't be left to the wolves if we decided to go with Ann Marie. When we left, we knew right off the bat that this was where we were getting married. Every meeting we had with Ann Marie from our first to our last went just as smoothly and was just as fun. She never let us get stressed out because she always reassured us that everything was under control and that we were NOT alone in the endeavor. She kept up with us on a regular basis between meetings, making sure we were meeting each deadline as they came. Not a single detail was missed, Ann Marie had EVERYTHING in mind: food, flowers, dress, tailoring, you name it. Once the big day finally arrived, we were so calm that it surprised everyone. We had seen Ann Marie work only in the capacity of our one-on-one meetings, but when we saw her doing her thing the day of the wedding...WOW. She was on the proverbial ball, and the whole night went off without a hitch. Whenever we thought something was going to be an issue, or if we needed ANYTHING, Ann Marie was right there getting it taken care of. It was nothing short of awe-inspiring. I could go on for days about the merits of having Ann Marie in our corner with our wedding, but I won't. If you want an amazing venue, with delicious food, and a wedding coordinator that will go to the ends of the earth to make sure that you're nothing but happy from the start of your planning to the day you say "I do", then you should choose Highfields.

Walking into the ballroom and seeing everything put together made me feel like I was walking into a fairytale. If Matt or I needed anything AnnMarie was right there. She made sure we covered every last detail of our wedding. I don’t know that I will ever be able to sum up just how amazing our wedding at Highfields was but I can tell you it is somewhere worth looking into if you are getting married! You won’t be sorry! We loved everything about Highfields, we even had our rehearsal dinner there! The food at both the rehearsal and the wedding was amazing and delicious. I can’t say enough good things. Thank-you Highfields and AnnMarie for a perfect wedding beyond everything we ever could have imagined. Our guests have been buzzing about how it was one of the best weddings they’d ever been too! On the day of the wedding everything went off perfectly, everything started on time, the food was great and served in a timely manner and Ann Marie was always around to answer any questions we might have. We had 4 gluten allergies on our guest list, including me, and it was important that no one get sick! Wedding coordinator was attentive and responded quickly to emails. Cons: They decided to rebuild the patio the week of my wedding, so it was closed. Bad timing, but what can you do? The wedding coordinator I had originally signed up with quit shortly before our big day for personal reasons. The replacement was good, but I could see that being a good tough transition. I consider this to have been a minor issue, but I was a little miffed the old coordinator didn't announce it until after the tasting for the 2014 brides. My tables were not set up correctly. Each individual table was correct, but the locations were off and mis-numbered. Small potatoes.

In the interest of saving busy brides the trouble of reading a long, drawn-out review, I'll make a list of the best aspects of Highfields. -Any time I had a question, Josie responded quickly via phone AND email. -The food was amazing, and all my guests raved about it. -Josie was willing to work with any special requests/details we wanted to make our wedding stand out. -Josie had a great list of vendors and advice for getting the highest-quality products out of these vendors. -Day-of, Josie and the staff were highly responsive to the needs of the bride/groom, from helping make sure the wedding moved along to making sure our favorite drinks were waiting for us at our dinner table. -Josie took care of every detail so that we could just sit back and enjoy our day, stress-free. I literally have NO complaints about our wedding at Highfields and would HIGHLY recommend Josie & her team to any bride/groom out there!

Josie worked great with our other vendors to make sure that everything that needed to be done was taken care of. As with every other venue, patience is key when planning and coordinating. I highly recommend checking out this venue...you won't be disappointed. Stunning views, spacious bridal suite, and fantastic grounds made our wedding absolutely perfect.

The food was amazing, the room was set up beautifully, the staff was very attentive and the bridal suite was great added bonus. It was a nice place to keep the bridal parties belongings and a quite place to take a 5 minute break when needed during the evening. Over all Josie and her staff went above and beyond our expectations. I would highly recomend Highfields to everyone.

By far, the best part was the new coordinator, Josie Billiel. She went above and beyond (e.g., taking pictures of the set up for us before guests arrived without being asked, helping to bring gifts out to the car at the end of the night). Everything ran so smoothly and efficiently. It was a perfect night and I could not be happier.
