From beginning to end, Jill and her staff were top notch. They communicated well, asked questions, gave advice, and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way.
Jill is amazing to work with! My brother got married in 2020 here, and I got to experience the set up and what it all had to offer. The conference center has two connecting hotel's, right off the interstate, and super close to resturants/fast food and Walmart. The food is awesome! And I truly mean that. There are great options for every budget, and great rental options and other items that come with the rental as complimentary. Set up and design were a breeze. We had a potential issue that could have caused an upset with our wedding date, and Jill was excellent to work with and so caring to help prepare for the unknown. Hands down I would pick this place again!
The staff is really easy to work with and they can accommodate for so many needs.
We had to postpone our wedding during covid. Highland was gracious about the cancellation and was ready with all the same details a year later. I was unable to do the decorations myself, just provided pictures of how I wanted it. It was perfect, so easy!
The Highland is an excellent place to host a wedding reception. The staff is accommodating and helpful! The venue is beautiful and requires little decoration to brighten it up! The food is excellent! The hotels connected to the event center are easy to work with and provide your guests options for spending the night!
The venue was great. We received many compliments from our guests about how nice the venue was. We had so many compliments on our food as well. We were impressed with how quickly the staff was able to feed our guests while maintaining the quality of the meal. Jill and her staff were very accommodating to our needs and provided excellent service.
Great venue, great staff and great food!! Definitely the best venue in the Mitchell area. I cannot say enough good things about this place.
They were wonderful help and had all tables/backdrops set up before decorating day. Food was delicious, but extremely expensive, and some things were a little outrageous, like the $100 Chex mix that feed 50 (and if they have it on their menu, you can't bring your own in). Otherwise very attentive, friendly staff and beautiful reception space. Only downside is the price and very strict food rules.
Jill from the Highland Conference Center was very easy to work with and the staff did a fantastic job!
