It was such a pleasure working with Corey and the Highland Preferred team! We feel so lucky to have had them as an integral part of our special weekend. The artists truly made our ceremony and cocktail hour so stunning and memorable, and our guests spoke so highly of the artists on strings. We look forward to working with Corey again soon!

I met Corey through work, and when my husband and I got engaged, I immediately reached out to him. I had seen him and his team in action, and knew they would be the best team to hire for our day! A few days before the wedding, Corey called me to go over the music selections, questions, and even provided helpful feedback on timing, intros, etc. We went over everything and we were set! Fast forward to our wedding day and everything went off without a hitch. Corey, the DJ for our wedding, was FANTASTIC! The dancefloor was packed all night and we danced the night away. Corey, our dream day couldn't have been as wonderful as it was without you! THANK YOU!!!

Highland Preferred Entertainment is amazing!! Especially DJ Corey and our MC Brian!! They made sure they got everyone on the dance floor and that we were having a good time the entire night!! The booking process was very easy, and I loved the client site where I could add my own playlists for them and just add the song names and artists. They did both our ceremony and reception music. I loved that they bring could hear the whole ceremony no matter where they sat. Would highly recommend them for weddings!

Wonderful and Versatile DJs/Videographers Corey and Jeff were awesome and went above and beyond to make sure the music was perfect for our special day! They did our ceremony and reception music, and they did an awesome job even though we were running behind schedule for unlocking the ceremony venue and so they didn’t have much time to set up. They were fun to work with and very patient with us - we had a few last-minute music changes that they made for us without any issue. They also did videography for our ceremony and reception and were really professional about making sure that both the music and videography were simultaneously well done and professionally attended to. Our guests REALLY loved their photo booth as well! It was really cool and a lot of fun!

They were great! Corey and Chris really made my wedding day. We talked about a bunch of items I wanted and they came through with my requests. Music was great and everyone danced. Totally worth it! Thanks again.

One of my biggest wants was a full dancefloor all night -- HP & Corey Sanford delivered with their ability to read the room and kept that dancefloor FULL! I had so many compliments from our guests like "your DJ is FREAKING AWESOME" and I concur! We all had a great time all night long! Listened to the vibes we were trying to match for each point from ceremony to entrances to reception and followed it to a T. Didn't have to worry about anything they kept the party going, took requests, and everyone had an awesome time all night because of Highland Preferred.

After our initial phone call with DJ Chris, we knew this was our guy! He was funny, came with new ideas, and I could tell he had DJ'd numerous weddings. My expectations for Chris were very high after talking with him. We utilized their easy to navigate wedding layout form in the weeks leading up to the wedding and then had a zoom meeting with Chris and Paola where we went over the whole day from start to finish. But then came the wedding day... and DJ Chris and Paula absolutely exceeded expectations. They absolutely killed it! I had told Chris I wanted him to keep everyone on the dance floor and he did just that. His set up was incredible with his uplighting and falling snowflakes. This guy knows how party! The amount of texts I received the next day asking about our DJ says it all. He was the talk of the night and the whole next day. Our wedding night went flawlessly and A LOT of that is due to DJ Chris. Ask Chris to DJ your next event and don't even bother looking anywhere else. He's all you need! Can't recommend him enough. DJ Jimmy T did an excellent job with our 11/04/23 wedding! The music was so fun and kept everyone dancing all night long. They did an excellent job taking care of all the mic and audio things. We had zero issues. Communication during planning was always clear and timely. They went above and beyond!

Had a really positive experience with Chris. I got a call around 2:30 PM (for a 4:30 ceremony) from Chris and started panicking, but turns out he was just letting me know he had arrived and was getting set up and asking if I needed anything. After our meeting before the ceremony, all of our cues had been set up & hit perfectly. During dinner, I had NO idea that Chris was singing beautifully the whole time (he was behind me) until my bridesmaids told me, and I was shocked! He checked in with me briefly a few times throughout the night to make sure everything was going well. One of the things you really pay for is the experience. Chris is not just finding songs and putting together. He is actively transitioning between songs and is very good at what he does - I highly recommend following his advice and not creating lengthy must play songs, because it allows him to showcase the skills you are paying for. The photo booth album was a lovely touch as well, and all of our guests seemed very happy with the experience!

Honestly I could not have asked for a better company to work with. Paula was absolutely fantastic in coordinating everything and making sure we captured my vision. My photographers and videographers went above and beyond to capture every moment and to make my Friday the 13th horror wedding dream come true. Chris was a fantastic DJ (and he can sing?! Amazing surprise!) and he kept the party going all night long. The group made everything stress free to plan and made the whole day run smoothly. They took the time to get to know me and my husband personally and catered to our personalities and what we wanted most on our wedding day. I am so grateful to have had such a fantastic team, truly. I will be recommending you guys to everyone I know. I can’t thank you enough for how amazing and dedicated you all are.

Unfortunately the day before our wedding I received a phone call that our DJ was not coming, could not tell me why, and that she the coordinator was going to fill in...Our introduction song was wrong which was quite disappointing considering it was a traditional cultural song with a specific dance to be done to it. In the end people were dancing, and I was wrapped up in my day of course, but the last minute stress and poor communication/planning/execution was not worth it.

All of the comments we received from our wedding were "your DJ was amazing!". Corey was 12/10. He reviewed our timeline with us at our final planning meeting and again day of. He knew exactly what to play to get the crowd going and actually DJ'd - not just playing songs from a set playlist. He was professional and kept us as a couple very calm throughout our day. Sound system was great and we did not run into any issues. We were able to customize song lists ahead of time as well.

So this was not our best vendor. Initially, I had a good experience when dealing with the company admin, Paula. She was lovely, informative and responsive. When we had our last call before our wedding, Paula was great. We told her we did not want super loud music, we wanted to be able to have conversations and not have to scream and she said, no problem we don't blast music like that. Fast forward to the day. 1st issue- the mic for our officiant did not work, had terrible static and we had to go without it for the ceremony. The ceremony music was fine. Reception- music during dinner was awful. The quality was so bad, so much static and feedback and it was blaring. I had to go up to the dj and ask him to please turn it down. He didn't seem to notice or care that the quality was so poor. Father daughter dance- again, so outrageously loud. I ran up to him before the mother son dance and asked that he please keep the volume level down as my husband suffers from chronic migraines. He complied. Dancing during the reception, back to the loudest volume possible, this was my last time going to him to make the same request regarding the volume. He never listened past 1 song, just went back to super loud. We provided a playlist but he didn't seem to be reading the crowd and it seems like he just hit shuffle. We had a great day, the dj could've been better.

Jimmy DJed at our wedding and we absolutely could not have been happier!!! He was amazing to work with and the dance floor was packed all night. We received so many comments on what a great job he did. 10/10 recommend!

Shoutout to DJ JT Strapp and Paula!! We are so happy we went with Highland Preferred for our DJ and lighting. Paula was incredible with helping organize our DJ/songs timeline and JT kept the party going all night. His energy was amazing! He stuck to our list and we had some greek and german songs on our list to play and they were great with playing those and taking those requests! Thank you to Highland preferred and I'd highly recommend them for your DJ!

Stop scrolling through DJs and hire highland preferred and DJ Chris Hodson. He communicated throughout the process and had easy to navigate forms for us to fill out about our schedule and our music likes and dislikes. We met with him for an hour the week before our wedding to go over final details. Chris was set up and ready to go the day of. His equipment is top notch including his lighting accessories. The video that his team did at our reception was incredible and perfectly supplemented our other videography as their timeline ended shortly into the dancing portion. DJ Chris kept the dance floor going all night long there was never a dull moment. I can’t say enough good things about DJ Chris and team, just hire them for your wedding NOW!!

We booked Chris through Highland Preferred for our wedding and my goodness did he over deliver! Chris and Paula were so great throughout the planning process for our wedding and on the day of the wedding they blew us out of the wedding. Between all the services we had, the dance floor, Chris's personality, and Chris singing during dinner we could not have been more happy. They helped make the whole night run so smoothly and really kept everything on track. He truly made our wedding a party and all of our guests loved him. We would highly recommend using Chris for your wedding day!

My husband and I booked DJ Chris Hodson with Talent City Artists and I cannot recommend him enough! We booked him for our ceremony, reception, and a photo booth! We had an online portal that helped us to plan timelines and give song requests. DJ Chris was incredibly responsive with emails and we set up a phone call a week before the wedding and he gave suggestions and support for us. On the day of the wedding, he had everything set up for us and we did not have to worry about a thing! We had printed photos and they even gave us a photo book of all of the pictures that people took! Such a great company and DJ to work with!

Stop whatever you’re doing and hire Highland Preferred!!!! We had DJ Chris for our wedding and Paola for our photo booth and they are an incredible team!!! From the moment we had our discovery call we knew they were the perfect fit for us. Chris’s enthusiasm is contagious and his excitement over our Star Wars theme had us even more excited for the big day! Chris had so many ideas on how to enhance our big day, discussing our ideas with him really helped us visualize the event and figure out the order of events. The music was INCREDIBLE!!!! Chris made seamless transitions between songs and we had multiple guests come up to us complementing the playlist and expressing anticipation over what song was coming on next. He even free styled a remix of the Imperial March to Yeah! And it was a pretty epic moment that had everyone stunned on the dance floor. At one point, Chris even sang a song for all of the couples and his voice is amazing. Chris is beyond kind, professional, and genuine. The passion he has for his work oozes off of him. Besides being busy with DJing, Chris did some videography as well, he showed us a brief clip at the end of the night and we cannot wait to see the rest of it! This was an unexpected surprise for us and we are so excited!!! Paola was very communicative and responded to all of my (many) questions over the months right away! She was very professional and kind and I truly felt like she cared about our event. At the end of the day she gifted us a photo album with prints from the photo booth, there were some custom made Star Wars signs for guests to hold and a specially made personalized Star Wars backdrop for the pictures. She was so sweet and bubbly and made it easy for guests to use the photo booth. Leading up to the event I felt like we all became friends along the journey and it was so exciting to finally meet them both in person! We cannot thank you both enough for everything you did for us. The night was a complete success and the dance floor was filled all night long!!! Thank you x1,000,000 and May the Force be with you!!!!

Chris was an amazing DJ! Due to some problems, we ended up getting Chris to DJ our wedding just days before . He was exactly what we wanted. He talked to us for over an hour to plan our day. He listened to what we wanted and how we wanted things to go. He offered suggestions for things we didn’t even know about, and helped us to decide the final details. He helped us choose music for our ceremony as well. We are a little bit older and wanted the music and tone to reflect our generation, but yet make the dancing fun for our kids, etc. The night of the event , he was really incredible. The dance floor was constantly full. Throughout the event, he updated us, and helped us to get to do all of the extras that we wanted. We can’t thank him enough, as music and dancing was one of the most important parts of our day. We were very stressed with just meeting him, but he listened and followed through with all our wishes. Our guests couldn’t say enough good things about the music either. We wanted it to be perfect , and it was!

I cannot thank Talent City Artists enough for all the work they put in to mine and my husbands wedding day. They were supportive as soon as we booked them, from conference calls leading up to the big day- they continued to make us feel at ease. They also went above and beyond on our wedding day. The team kept the party going and on schedule, with some amazing music along the way. DJ Chris even stayed late at our after party to continue playing for us when our shuttle was late to pick up our guests.

DJ Jimmy T, you are THE MAN!!!!! Our wedding was an ABSOLUTE blast!!!! Jimmy was so amazing not only just for the wedding but he really took the time to get to know my Husband and I and helped us create our timeline of events. Everything felt so smooth and I had not a single worry when the day finally came. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Jimmy was really communicative, making sure he was playing our requested versions of songs, pronouncing names correctly, and taking care of all the other minor details. Throughout the selection process, Paula was responsive and informative about the available services. Thank you for making it such a memorable evening!

Chris was the DJ at our wedding reception and did an excellent job. As MC, Chris did an excellent job of facilitating the flow of events throughout the speeches and announcements, as well as keeping the dance floor open throughout the evening.

Corey was very pleasant and accommodating to our tight schedule. Paula was so professional and helpful throughout the process; I would recommend them to anyone!

Phil is incredible! He was very helpful throughout the wedding planning process. It was so nice of him to set up multiple stations throughout the venue for a smooth transition. Throughout the process, Phil and Paula were so great and went above and beyond in terms of professionalism and response time.

I've used Highland Preferred twice in the last year and they've both been fantastic. I will never use another DJ service again. I only gave Paula two weeks' notice both times, and she made it happen. The service and DJs were fantastic, and everyone at the wedding complimented the DJ.

Phil was an excellent DJ/Emcee for our wedding!! He is so approachable and entertaining to talk to! He is also very accommodating to last-minute changes and genuinely cares about his couples! His music taste was excellent. We had a crew that didn't particularly enjoy dancing, but he kept almost everyone on the dance floor all night! His ability to read a crowd and adjust accordingly was outstanding! I would highly recommend him!

Due to the pandemic, we had to drastically reduce the size of our wedding, including finding new vendors and a venue. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have discovered Highland Preferred. They were prompt, organized, and professional in their responses from the start. I appreciate the Google Meet meeting before the event to ensure the DJ understood our requests. And, despite the fact that we didn't have much time for a full "reception," DJ Jimmy did an excellent job with our shortened timeline and playlist.

Excellent service! Chris from Highland Preferred Productions was absolutely fantastic!! He played great music and knew how to get the party started. We had a great time working with him. They also provided lighting and microphones for us, which perfectly set the tone for the wedding.

At my wedding, DJ Corey, videographer Widia, and the Highland Preferred team did an excellent job. I had some specific songs in mind for the ceremony, and Corey was able to locate them all with ease! The music at the reception fit the evening perfectly, and even though I had a small reception, Corey had everyone up dancing. The lighting was perfect for my theme, and the video turned out fantastic!

Blake was both our DJ and our singer! Everyone at our wedding enjoyed his personality as well as his expertise in music/DJ skills. Because they were having so much fun, he kept everyone engaged and on the dance floor. He truly felt like a member of the family and played a significant role in making our wedding day a success and an unforgettable experience for our guests.

All of our guests enjoyed his music selection and the fact that he got out there and danced with us a little! He was punctual, courteous, and a joy to have at our wedding!

One of the best decisions we made was to hire DJ Jimmy for our wedding! Highland Preferred times throughout the planning process to ensure your well-being and to simply check-in, which is fantastic! When it came to choosing the DJ, Jimmy was a no-brainer! His online profile was fantastic, and we were immediately drawn to his upbeat personality.

Chris served as our DJ. We adored his musical style! He was super helpful in the month leading up to our wedding. There are so many things to think about and plan for, so it was very nice not to have to worry about music except for a few special dance songs. The planning forms cover every aspect of the wedding, so nothing is overlooked.

Corina was very accommodating and seemed to "take" our worries away by planning the services for our wedding. She was gracious and helpful no matter what challenge I presented, and she was always willing to assist me in finding solutions.

Leo knew how to work for a crowd and get them up and dancing. His timing was so impeccable that when it began to rain, he played a hit song that sent the crowd running outside to dance in the rain!! That's talent!!!

They all made an effort to sit down with us and gather as many details as possible to help ensure that our day was perfect. They made an effort to learn about us and our vision for our wedding and reception. They gave us the best package deal to make our wedding day perfect. We now have a fantastic highlight real and full wedding video that includes everything we may have missed.
