Hilltop Manor Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding. Despite having to postpone our May wedding due to Covid-19, Jessica and Don were wonderful and generous in making our July wedding happen. They have let us visit the venue numerous times to coordinate decorations and get a plan for our wedding. They also have a ton of decorations that are available for use, which was so helpful! Both pavilions offer plenty of space to have an outdoor wedding with room to social distance. They also provided hand sanitizing stations. Jessica and Don were so helpful setting things up and were also available the day of the wedding to help coordinate and make sure everything was running smoothly. They have many different spaces on the property to choose from for the ceremony and reception. The venue was also handicap accessible, which was important for us while deciding on a venue. We had the perfect day!
A quick snap shot of my favorite things about this venue:
1) Easy to work with/ flexible vendors. They were available all weekend but weren't intrusive at all
2) AN ENTIRE GARAGE OF WEDDING DECOR!!! PEOPLE, I DIDN'T BUY ANYTHING BUT FLOWERS FOR WEDDING DECORATIONS! We saved SO much money, headache, and time because of this
3) Outdoor and indoor options for all parts of your big day. Pretty much any set up that you could want
4) An AMAZING farm house to stay in with a wrap around front porch and a beautiful back porch with a grill overlooking the the country hills
5) Having the entire weekend to relax and enjoy instead of all of it just being one day.
My full review:
I truly cannot say enough about how amazing Hilltop Manor was for our wedding weekend. To start, getting married during a pandemic presented a lot of extra challenges, but Hilltop was flexible and helpful through it all. We stayed in contact throughout the year prior to the wedding and they let us visit the venue as much as we needed to help plan our big day and figure out spacing due to COVID. The weekend of, it was so nice to be able to relax and enjoy the farm house and beautiful views with all of our family. It ended up being a relaxing, holiday get away for everyone there. For the wedding day, Jess and Don were present if any issues came up but were never intrusive. We looked into a wedding planner in the beginning, but didn't end up needing one because they helped us figure out the logistics of what works best at their venue on their own without an extra charge for the service. They also set up extra sanitation stations around the venue so that all of our guests would feel more comfortable being there during the pandemic. I truly cannot get over how perfect our entire weekend was, and know that a huge part of why it was the perfect weekend was because of the venue we chose. We would recommend them to anyone!
Hilltop Manor Inn was everything we could have imagined and more. From the moment we saw it when searching for venues, we knew it was the place for us. Don and Jessica were an absolute pleasure to work with, helping with tips and recommendations, answering every little question that I had, and they were beyond helpful the weekend of the wedding. The venue was stunning and thank goodness our photographer was able to capture it in all of it's glory. Decorations were almost not even needed. We have received numerous compliments since our big day and people are still talking about how beautiful the space was and what a wonderful time they had. It's also very helpful being able to have the space from Thursday to Sunday, it definitely was nice being able to relax and do things over a couple of days. I would definitely recommend also getting the house across the street, it was convenient and made it feel like we were on a mini wedding vacation. Thank you Don and Jess for everything, you truthfully are the best!
Just had our wedding here and the place was amazing! Cannot say enough about how beautiful everything was and Don was so very easy to work with. We rented the barn, house and motel rooms and stayed for three days! All of our guests kept telling me what a magical place it was and how beautiful everything was. Eclectic and artistic were the words used the most. Don was extremely helpful with everything and very responsive to any questions and concerns we had. The heating in the barn worked out very well, which was good because our wedding day turned out to be quite chilly! Thanks again for making our day so magical and exactly what we wanted it to be!
I have gotten endless amounts of compliments on our wedding at Hilltop Manor Inn!! We knew we loved the venue the second we saw it but our guests could not stop raving about how unique and and beautiful this place was.
We were married on Saturday, May 20th. We booked the venue from Thursday through Sunday and utilized all four days. Don and Jessica are very involved with their couples. But also don't hover and allow you the space during your weekend to make you feel like the place is really yours. They were there Thursday when we showed up and checked in throughout the whole weekend. However, they were only a phone call away if needed.
The house comes with endless accommodations - from cookware and dinnerware to towels and blankets to stay warm if you want to sit on the porch on a chilly night (just to name a few). They ask you to provide your own paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags (which we did) but they had a few of all these things ready for you when you showed up so you didn't have to run right out and buy them all.
The barn has that old, rustic charm when you see it from the outside, but is beautifully renovated on the inside. It has three bathrooms and running water which was so much nicer than "bathroom trailers" that I saw offered at similar venues. Hilltop Manor also supplies tables and chairs which I did not find at any other barn venue I looked into. He has rounds and 6 foot and 8 foot rectangular tables which allows for many different seating arrangements.
On the day of our wedding it went from a beautiful, overcast day to storming in a matter of a couple hours - if not less. Our plan was to have the ceremony outside, behind the house and it was close to set up when the winds changed and brought the rain. Don, Jessica, and their team members worked quickly and diligently to move 120 chairs all around the venue to accommodate our rain plan. Their effort was amazing. We had the ceremony under the upper pavilion and you couldn't even tell it wasn't meant to be that way!!
Overall, we were highly satisfied with our wedding weekend at Hilltop Manor Inn and couldn't dream of having it anywhere else! Book this barn if you are looking for a unique, rustic, and beautiful wedding venue while not compromising modern accommodations.
Hilltop Manor Inn was the perfect wedding venue for the two of us! The owners, Don and Jess, were willing to help out and answer any questions from the day of our first tour all the way up to the day of the wedding without any hesitation. We were married on April 22 and had the barn and house from Thursday to Sunday which is something I definitely recommend if you are considering!! We had a blast being able to spend the entire weekend with our bridal party and it was much more relaxing knowing we had 2 days of being on-site to wrap up any last minute things. Our immediate family also took advantage of the opportunity to set up their camper as well as rent out a nearby house for the weekend which was another cherry on top to have everyone nearby.
My husband and I recommend Hilltop to anyone considering and agree that there is no other venue we would have rather celebrated our wedding at!! It definitely does not lack WOW factor, yet it still has the space to make it more "you" with decor. It's a place of pure beauty and we have received nothing but the highest of compliments about our wedding and this site.
Don and Jessica went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. There is so much space you can work with on the property. Our guests loved having the cocktail hour outside where they could eat, drink, and play yard games. We had 200 people fit in the dining room upstairs in the barn, and it turned out great. We always dreamed of a barn wedding, and we couldn't have asked for a better place!
I had my wedding here 22 days ago! It's so amazing! Don and Jessica are very helpful! The barn is beautiful! They work so hard to make the day amazing for you! They had everything I could have asked for in a reception and wedding ceremony!
My neice got married here.. The place is beautiful. With that said I have to say setting up and taking everything down for the price she paid was crazy.. The owner was adiment on making sure the air waS set at 68 even thought it wS in the upper 90's.. In the house they rented.. The owner was on the property most if the time.. And walked into and out if the house.. It to me was a little creepy that everytime i turned he was there... The house. The grounds and even the reception.. They even charged to put up a curtin like veil in the barn...my daughter is now getting married and i will better spend my money where i dont feel like i am being watched the intire time.. I have other things to worry about... Even at a hotel i have had more privacy...
The location was beautiful but the service was awful. You pay 10k and have to sweep your own floors and pick up all around the grounds. You have to set up and take down all of your chairs. You have random workers walking in and out of the house at all hours of the night. You are not the owners priority.
