Hilton Boston/Dedham

Highly recommend Hilton Boston-Dedham. They made our special day amazing and Ashley Patterson is top notch. She was a delight to work with and helped us every step of the way with planning. Highly Recommend!

While we did not have our venue at the Hilton, we did have a large room block, our rehearsal dinner, a Friday evening dessert and a Sunday morning brunch for our out-of-town guests. We worked closely with Michelle Murphy who was there to help us figure out all of the details. She was patient while we weren’t by back and forth about details and the staff at the hotel were lovely while we were there!

My husband and I had our wedding at the Hilton in April. The wedding itself was great and the food was delicious. The catering staff was fabulous and attended to our every need and the event staff got the tables decorated exactly how we wanted them. Our package included a cake from Icing on the Cake in Newton and it looked great and tasted even better! That being said, the planning of the wedding with the hotel wedding coordinator and the process after the wedding was an absolute nightmare. Our wedding coordinator changed three times during our year of engagement. We loved our first wedding coordinator and she was extremely organized. However, the wedding coordinator that worked with us at the end of the process was very nice but also extremely disorganized. The wedding coordinator also just seemed to want to sell things to you instead of giving you the wedding you want at a reasonable budget. She met with us a week before the wedding and enticed us to add some items to our contract (e.g. wine at the tables, appetizers) without telling us a price. She had my husband sign the contract with the new numbers the day before the wedding and over doubled the price of our contract. After the wedding, they sent the bill with the new additions and different numbers for the pricing of meals than was in our original contract. After at least a month of negotiating and bringing the hotel manager into the process we were able to negotiate and come to a reasonable price to pay for our wedding. At the end of it all, my husband and I felt completely taken advantage of and it was an extremely frustrating process. As I said previously the food was delicious and the actual wedding was fabulous but the process before and after was extremely frustrating.

A week before my rehearsal dinner, hosted here, I am so disappointed in our sales manager, Kirsis. While the previous manager told us a year ago that they could pass out bags to out of town guests at no charge from the front desk and the concierge told us the same thing, she was not even slightly apologetic when she told us that they would only deliver them to the rooms directly. I will certainly not recommend this as a venue to others--my mother in law says this is not the first time they have tried to add additional fees to the event. After spending thousands of dollars, I would expect more courtesy. If you are looking for a great place in Dedham for guests to stay or for a dinner, I suggest you avoid the Hilton and head over to the Holiday Inn.

We had a lot of out of town guests, and wanted to do everything in one place. The Hilton was able to accommodate around 200 guests for hotel stays, our outdoor ceremony in the courtyard, and the indoor cocktail hour followed by the reception in the ballroom. Angela, the on-site coordinator, is great to work with, the food was excellent, and the pricing is quite good compared to other venues we looked at. We definitely recommend booking here :)

My husband and I were very pleased with the outcome of our wedding. Linde who is the catering/ events manager really helped us and the outcome exceeded our expectations. Of course nothing in life or in planning one's wedding always goes without a few bumps here and there, such as we were not told that there was another wedding going on there and the baskets of goodies I had made for the ladies and mens bathrooms were practically ransacked by persons not involved or invited to our wedding. Was a bit disappointed that there was nothing they could do about that. ButBut in the end everyone had a great time and the food and service were excellent.

We had a fantastic wedding reception at the Hilton Boston/Dedham Hotel. Linde who helped us at the hotel was great - she had all the little details down and everything looked great. We got many compliments on the cocktail hour and the food. While taking pictures outside, the head server brought us out drinks and appetizers so that we wouldn't miss out on the food at our cocktail hour.

I recently got married at The Hilton in Dedham. Everything worked out perfectly- the room looked great, pictures outside in the courtyard were awesome, the food was fantastic and people enjoyed drinking/dancing! I hosted a brunch the next morning for guests staying at the hotel, which was equally as fabulous!

The venue is great... nicely done. The service is top notch... from six months out to the day after! Nate (the venue manager) is amazing!
