We had our wedding here a couple weekends ago and i couldn't recommend the Hilton more! I was truly amazed at how special they made us feel from the amazing room we got to the top notch service we received throughout the course of the weekend! Clem and Sam were fantastic and went above and beyond in all areas of service! I highly recommend using them as an event space! Thank you so much for making our day so memorable!
We could not be happier or more thankful that we chose the Hilton Charlotte City Center to have our wedding. To be honest, a hotel wedding was not our first choice because we wanted something unique and not so "cookie cutter" for our reception. After almost going with another venue that ended up not working out for us we looked into what the Hilton had to offer and met with Judy and were thoroughly impressed. The amount that this venue offers for the money you spend is incredible. The ballroom for the reception is huge and worked perfectly for our decor and the atmosphere we were going for. Judy and the rest of the staff are absolutely incredible and were always quick to respond to our needs and eager to help in any way they could. Customer service is extremely important to me and with the cost of weddings it is absolutely non-negotiable to not receive food customer service from venue staff or vendors. With Judy and the Hilton Hotel in general I felt so well taken care of and a lot of stress was taken off of our backs. We planned to have our ceremony in the beautiful outdoor courtyard with the clock tower and the water fountains but unfortunately it rained on our wedding day. This was disappointing but did not ruin our day at all because the back up plan is beautiful as well and the team took care of everything and made it look like it was not a back up plan at all. I was also blown away by the food. o did not expect it to be so good and I was shocked with the presentation and the amazing service from the food staff. I am so grateful for the Hilton for making our day so beautiful, stress free, and for making us feel amazing on the best day of our life. Thank you Judy and everyone on the team that contributed.
We loved having our wedding at the Hilton Charlotte Center City for a number of reasons. (1) Mel Ulla the event planner was incredible. She was so well versed in Indian weddings, was so accommodating and patient with all our questions. Having great staff at the venue is key to a successful Indian wedding. The outside location was perfect for the baraat. We had plenty of space to dance, for the horse, milni ceremony all without shutting down the street. We had our ceremony in the atrium and reception in the ballroom. If you book your wedding here, be sure to use the sparkle dance floor the Hilton has. It is huge which is awesome and it is stunning in your photos.
Every aspect of our wedding at the Hilton was perfection and the entire planning process was a breeze! With a majority of guests from out of town we started our wedding weekend with a Welcome Reception at the Coastal Kitchen on site! The food and drinks were incredible! The space for our bridal party to get ready was spacious and there spread of snacks and beverages for us was amazing! The decor around Christmas time was so beautiful we took a majority of our wedding party photos around the hotel itself. Our ceremony in the Atrium was a dream, followed by the greatest cocktail hour/reception! Mel helped plan every detail of our entire weekend and made the entire wedding planning process stress free! She is the greatest asset to the Hilton! She even suggested the most beautiful dance floor, it felt like we danced the night away in the stars! Everyone that attended our wedding still talks about how beautiful, fun and delicious everything was!
We got married this Hilton Charlotte Center City. The hotel hosted the ceremony, the refreshment hour, and the reception. When we were looking for an all-inclusive venue for our wedding, there were 3 things that were essential for us: 1) location location location - the hotel is right at the city center, which makes transportation a lot easier for a winter wedding. Their parking deck has a very low rate on weekends 2) hospitable and experienced event staff - the sales and catering managers/the hotel front desk associates/catering chefs... everyone was so friendly and they were able to provide services catered to our needs/requests 3) gorgeous facility - the hotel is elegant and we really liked the venue layout and decors. We even picked our wedding color to fit the venue.
Also, the wedding package covered a variety of things for the wedding such as linen, table cloth, free hotel stay, breakfast for the wedding party, etc. We had a GREAT time and we really appreciate all the effort the event staff made for our special day. Especially, we'd like to recognize Kayla G. - our event coordinator for her expertise and hospitality :)
We looked hi and lo for the perfect venue and are so proud to say that Hilton Charlotte Center City was most fitting. This was the perfect location for your wedding especially if you will have a handful of out of town guests coming in to visit you. This beautiful venue in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, literally great walking distance access to entertainment (day and night), restaurants, and museums. You have to keep these practicalities in mind when you are "shopping around" for your wedding venue because while your wedding's day events (and rehearsal dinner) are the most important reason why your guests are there, many of them are not going to be doing wedding activities throughout their entire stay - you want to NOT make them have to travel or commute around town to stay entertained.

3. FLEXIBILITY, SUPPORT, and CREATIVITY for the bride's vision
4. IMPECCABLE SERVICE. For us and our guests. The staff was very professional, tactful, polite (not pretentious), friendly, communicative, classy, accommodating, attentive, and very helpful.
5. DELICIOUS FOOD. Every guest whom we've spoken to (and us) loved the food - hor'dourves and plated dinner - because usually the larger the guest count, the more likely the quality of food decreases.
6. CLEAN and POLISHED venue. The floors are always shiny, the elevators are always clean, the bathrooms are clean and upkept.
7. PATIENT. When our allotted reception time was up, the lights did not instantaneously get turned on to the highest level of brightness like I've read in other venues' customer reviews. We were not rushed out of the venue. Another sign showing how classy the Hilton Charlotte Center City truly is.
8. BEAUTIFUL outdoor ceremony setup at the Clocktower in the heart of Uptown.
9. BEAUTIFUL Ballroom for our reception. (Factoid: When the Hilton Charlotte Center City underwent renovations, it kept the 6 grandiose chandeliers for the Ballroom - these chandeliers definitely demand presence and they are a stunning piece of decor to add to your wedding).
Absolutely A-Team Staff, hands down. I highly recommend this venue and Megan Applegate was AMAZING!!!
The Hilton was the site of my reception and it was perfect. The servers (especially Mustafa) were exceptionally attentive to all of our needs and the needs of our guests. The food was exquisite and everything we asked for during our tastings, if no better.
