It's a few minutes from the strip which I think is great. There is an outlet just a couple blocks down as well as grocery store and restaurants. Great location. The lobby was very clean and smelled nice. The room was clean and spacious. We had ...
a 2 bed with a futon. Definitely would stay here again! Front desk were nice as well. We didn't really interact with other staff as we were only there at night.

Scenario/Service/Location: Was there for Superbowl Weekend festivities, this and every other hotel were GOUGING on a massive scale. Diamond Members, very familiar with what a good Hilton looks like. The location suited our needs well enough,...
the airport shuttle was handy and we did not have to wait too long (about 20 minutes after calling for it) to be picked up. Desk staff was great. Cleaning crew no issues. Chef no issues, but the overall breakfast buffet was super limited (they have far less options than most Hilton's that serve breakfast), but they do clearly mark on the menu what a la carte items were priced specifically to use the food credit without overage. The lobby was nice enough, some of the furniture was quite outdated/worn out (we had to wait there a bit before our later flight). Coffee station stayed out late which was great, then they switched to infused water. It would be awesome if they operated a shuttle to at least Mandalay/South Strip. Easy walk to a number of dining options, we liked Black Bear quite a bit.
Rooms: Outdated. Bed frame/mattress were pretty uncomfortable. Hot water took no less than 10 minutes to warm up past lukewarm. Rust/water damage to floor/tiles outside the shower. SUPER LOUD HEATING/AC UNIT!!! Hope you are a deep sleeper, even my deep sleeper wife was being woken up by it, we needed both earplugs and noise machine to get through it. Room also constantly heats up even at night, thus needing AC even in winter. Pillows were flat. Recommend replace the chair in the room as well, it looks like it is from the 1970s and the fabric is approaching worn out.
Biggest Issue: Special event or not, this hotel has some issues, and it was not full, so the degree of gouging was a little insulting and certainly not worth it. Their NORMAL prices reflect the actual quality of the hotel.

It’s clear that the hotel needs a big fresh up but luckily the employees made our stay quite enjoyable.
A special thanks to Jenny which always served us with a smile and gave us a lot of good recommandations.
Thanks to Cindy for her good mood t...
oo.
If we do come back it would be for Jenny and Cindy.
The shuttle made the transit to the training site easy but unfortunately we had to wait twice for more than 1h.

customer service here was completely underwhelming. I booked my room by calling the number listed on Google and I asked if I could check out late at night since my flight was at midnight. The person who booked my room over the phone said that t...
here was no issue and assured me that I could check out at that time. The next morning while I’m on the phone on a business call, I hear banging on my door and employees yelling at me to check out. I then receive a phone call from the front office telling me I have 30 minutes to exit my room. I informed them that the person who help me book the room over the phone so that there was no problem with my checkout time and I had already made arrangements to stay until later that night. The front office lady literally said “you’re gonna have to take it up with them, but you need to leave in 30 minutes”. not only is there miscommunication between employees at the Hilton Garden Inn, but the employees working at the hotel didn’t even even have the decency to pretend like they cared about my situation. I ended up having to pay for another night which cost me $400 for a less than mediocre room. that same day I called the front office to order some food from the hotel restaurant which they told me upon check-in that I could later go downstairs and pick up. the lady over the phone had no idea what time the restaurant opened, how long the food might take and even seemed annoyed that I wanted to place an order over the phone. frustrated, I went downstairs, placed the order and waited until it was ready since no one wanted to help me. I was surprised to see that I was asked for a tip when I did everything except the food! in short, if you want to stay here, be ready to pay a lot of money for a lackluster room with broken AC, lights don’t work, and employees that want you to do their job for them. Also, the food at the restaurant is ridiculously overpriced and not even good

Very disappointed in our room & service... The drain in the shower was clogged (which they knew about) the shower door didn't shut all the way which caused the floor to be soaked with water. Then to top it all off the shower water would not ge...

We shared our concerns politely with the front desk staff. We were offered an upgrade to a junior suit & were asked to go up stairs & pack our belongings. At this point we were very happy & ready to continue out trip. While upstairs packing, we received a phone call; it was the front desk telling us the manager didn't want to upgrade us & they would try to figure out how to adjust our concerns. We were told housekeeping had gone home & could not clean up a new room.
My wife & I decided to go down stairs & ask for a full refund so we could go NEXT DOOR to the Hilton Home 2 (way better facility & experience). While asking for a refund we were told that we needed to hurry & check us out so housekeeping could clean our room for the next guest. Previously we were told housekeeping was gone; but we didn't say anything about it.
Definitely could have handled the situation better Hilton Staff....!
