, our event manager and staff were welcoming, professional and genuinely invested in our event. The space was set up beautifully, the food was excellent, and the service was attentive and outstanding. It allowed us not to worry and just enjoy the evening with our guests. Additionally, we had many family members from out of town which made the HGI convenient for overnight accommodations. We were so pleased with everything and highly recommend the venue!

From the beginning of the planning process to seeing the wedding all the way through, everyone was such a huge help. We had all of our wedding events at the hotel including the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, after party and brunch and it all was perfect. The rooms, the food and every detail were great. We can not say enough great things about it here and would 100% recommend getting married here!

Outdoor ceremony space was gorgeous, and the Greene Room that we got ready in was so modern, chic, and fit me and my 13 girls so comfortably! I just got my pictures back and they look great both at the ceremony space and also overlooking Southpointe. 10/10 recommend HGI SP for a good time, good food, and awesome pics!

We even had some guest number issues leading up and she truly eased that stress from us. Day of, she was around for any of our needs and made sure the reception was set up perfectly. Kellyn communicated with our other coordinator effectively. The hotel food was incredible. We had a hard time deciding when we went for our food tasting. All of our guests enjoyed their meals, especially the ravioli appetizer! All of the wait staff was around and timely as they tended to guests. All the bartenders were fabulous as well. Although we didn't have our ceremony there, our guests got to enjoy the outdoor garden area, and we got to take our photos there. The Hilton Garden is a must book wedding venue!

mpressed with Carolyn on our tour that in the middle of the tour my husband told me “we have to book this, it’s perfect and she’s phenomenal”. Carolyn was amazing to work with. She actually went on maternity leave about 2 months prior to my wedding and I was a little worried but she was replaced with Lizzie who was just as amazing as Carolyn. They both always answered my emails within 24hrs and planned when all of our meetings prior to the wedding would be. Even the food tasting was organized and well run. Carolyn and Lizzie handled everything with my vendors on what time to bring stuff, where to set stuff up etc. It made the wedding week so much less stressful not having to worry about that stuff. Also on the day of the wedding, all the servers, bartenders etc were awesome. Our guest still talk about how great the service was, how good the food tasted and overall just how beautiful the day was. I couldn’t imagine having our reception anywhere else and I would highly recommend having your reception here. If you want a stress free, easy planning, and to have an event coordinator who is phenomenal to work with, this is the place!

this place and her! When touring venues, my husband said everything was nice if it was what I wanted. Until we toured the HGI Southpointe, mid tour he said this is it and I finally got a reaction out of him! Carolyn is so talented at her job. She is very upfront about what they have to offer, answers calls and emails quickly, and so reassuring. She schedules meetings with you to touch base and run through everything multiple times to make sure its right. You drop off your décor the week of and she organizes it, so that its not a worry in the days leading up to the Wedding! Day of- she stopped by our getting ready room to assure me everything was handled and make sure I didn’t need anything. She even remembered that I loved High Noons, and even though we did not select them for our bar, she showed up with one at the reception for me! With some issues with our external day of coordinator, I did not have one worry in the world because I knew I trusted Carolyn and her staff with everything in me and that if anything happened or wasn’t how it was supposed to be, she would fix it. She even showed up and helped bustle my dress! She made me feel so special and important. You need to ask for her!! I don’t recommend that you need a day of coordinator when you have her. The food... my guests are still raving about the food. From the food tasting- the chef came out to personally introduce himself and tell us about the plates he prepared for us. They were fully customizable, and he said he would make us anything we wanted. Their food was out of this world, and they box it up and send it to your room for after the reception. The bartenders and reception staff were also amazing, so kind, and constantly checking in to see what we needed! Photos of the venue speak for itself, but it is even more beautiful in person. We also had after party pizzas at Jacksons attached, and they were delicious!

The food was amazing! Service was quick, even for 200 people, and our guests are still talking about how good everything was. The venue was so accommodating to any allergies/dietary restrictions we gave them. HGI made the process of dropping off decorations, cookies, and other wedding day items so easy. The staff played a huge role in setting up all our decor and it was beautiful! We were fortunate enough to have beautiful weather on our big day and held our ceremony outdoors. The outdoor ceremony location is so beautiful. There are also so many beautiful locations for pictures in and around the hotel! The staff at HGI made the entire planning process so easy for us. The event coordinator we worked with, Carolyn, was the deciding factor in choosing between our final 2 venues. She is AMAZING. She was there to answer every question we had, make recommendations, and every meeting we had with her went so smoothly. Having Carolyn there to help us throughout the planning process and on the big day helped relieve so much stress for us, we knew she would do everything in her power to make things go smoothly. Overall, we are SO happy with the decision we made to have HGI as our venue. We HIGHLY recommend this venue for anyone looking to have their wedding in the area!

The cocktail hour area left plenty of room for our guests to mingle while still feeling like an intimate space. The outdoor space was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. While the venue was perfect, we cannot describe how thankful we are for the staff. Although we did not originally book with Carolyn, I would not have changed our coordinator for anything. The HGI is lucky to have someone so talented, knowledgeable, and passionate about their job. From the many emails back and forth, the Zoom and in-person meetings, and making our specific vision come to life, we cannot express how thankful we are to have had her as part of our day. Carolyn was the best, and you NEED her for your big day too. On the big day, everything was seamless! Not only did Carolyn run the show perfectly, but she had amazing help from her teammate Kellyn. Although we did not meet Kellyn as often, she did not disappoint with her role. On the day of we were so thankful that Kellyn was there to the end to make sure we had everything that we needed. Kellyn was with us to keep us on time and make sure everything ran smoothly. These two make a great team. We would also like to give a big thanks and recommendation to the kitchen staff. We had never had such good food at a wedding, and you would not believe the portion sizes. They took care of every request, substitution, and allergy we threw at them and still made every meal perfectly. All of our guests raved about the food and service. Our server Danny was super sweet and made sure our bridal party was taken care of with each course during the reception AND rehearsal dinner. We cannot thank this staff enough for giving us the most perfect day. If we had to go back and do it all again, we would pick HGI and their team, no questions asked. Have your wedding here!

Carolyn puts all her passion into helping couples get their big day across the finish line. Working through all the intimate details of a wedding is difficult enough, but with the loss of a parent just 2 weeks before the wedding made it extra difficult. Carolyn could not have been more accommodating and for that, we could not be more thankful. Our wedding went off without a hitch thanks to her and the staff. She kept everything in line, on time, and ensured that us and our 150 guests were all taken care of. The wait staff was on another level not normally seen for such large venues/events. They were attentive, polite, quick, and present. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD and we are still getting compliments over a week later. Every item from the cocktail hour to the soup to the entrees were superb. We highly recommend renting the greene room on the 1st floor. The setup of the room is SUCH a vibe and the girls had so much fun getting ready in there. The outdoor ceremony location is beautifully curated and can be tailored to add anything you could possibly want. The garden is beautifully manicured and creates the perfect location for after ceremony pictures. The reception ball rooms are beautifully renovated with wonderful lighting that create the most inviting space for big or small receptions. The flexibility provided by all these spaces made our day go much smoother since we were able to hold our entire event on site at the HGI. We can't thank Carolyn and her team enough for providing the most perfect atmosphere and location for wedding day.

After narrowing down the list to 2 venues (HGI being one of them), our main determining factor was the coordinator. I knew from our first interaction that I wanted to work with Carolyn from the Hilton Garden Inn. I wanted to work with someone who was very involved with the planning process, efficient, well informed and gave several updates. All that and more describes Carolyn. I can’t say enough good things about her. I specifically changed my initial wedding date to be able to work with her. She was with me through the entire process. She found times that worked for my fiancé and I for our tasting. She updated me constantly! She gave us ideas of what we should add to our reception/ceremony. She recommended vendors. She was so patient and understanding throughout the whole process…. Even when I would send 2728292 updates to her every day and even with the time zone difference. She had answers to all my concerns. She was on top of everything. I wouldn’t have wanted to work with anyone else. Wedding Day was organized and went by super quickly! It was such a smooth process. Carolyn was there at all times checking on me. The head chef and his team know flavor and the food turned out beautifully seasoned! During our tasting, we got to try several different options for appetizers and entrees. The chef walked us through each option and allowed us to customize what sauces/sides/vegetables we wanted. We had our rehearsal dinner at HGI and the food was great! We loved loved loved the New York Strip. The “wedding day” food at cocktail hour and reception was PHENOMENAL! They accommodate all dietary restrictions. We had about 5 butler passed hors dourves, 6 stationary hors dourves, soup, salad, entree and dessert. We got our money’s worth for sure. Our guests are still raving about the food!! Get the filet mignon and the salmon! THEY WERE AMAZING!!! Carolyn helped coordinate all that! The staff was so nice and welcoming! They tried to accommodate all of our requests. The area around the hotel is quiet and peaceful. It’s close to Pittsburgh and the airport! The gazebo was perfect for our ceremony. The grand ballroom with all the chandeliers is beautiful for a reception. It comfortably fit about 250 guests and 2 bars! I can’t say enough good things about the venue, the coordinators (Carolyn and Kellyn (who was very present during my wedding day and super helpful)), the bartender (Shoutout Dina), the managers and all the staff. If you plan on having a wedding that will blow your mind, don’t hesitate to go with the Hilton Garden Inn at Pittsburgh Southpointe!

The HGI has the process down to a science, they are very good at what they do, and they take a huge burden off of the bride so you can enjoy the day! Jackson's restaurant also has great food if you'd like to have your rehearsal dinner on-site, or have an after party following your reception. I could not recommend HGI enough - get married here!!!

Their accommodation of their "Get Ready Room" was the cherry on top for all the bridesmaids to get hair and makeup done in a secluded area. I was so impressed with her attention to detail that I booked my daughter's shower there also. The wedding and shower went out without a hitch. From the time I arrived the day prior to the wedding. I had everyone go above and beyond for my daughter. Special thanks to Katelyn who assisted with putting the tags onto our gift bags when I was running late. It was so appreciated. She was very gracious and offered to finish for me when I said I was going to finish after my appointment. I cannot express enough thanks to Mark and his team of Debbie and Alicia who took special care of my guests at breakfast. They made a special breakfast for my daughter who has dietary issues. It made her day and was so kind. The front desk staff including Mayella and Michael were so helpful with my guests and facilitating cookie and decorations dop offs and then pick-ups after the wedding. The wedding day itself was beautiful. The wait staff- Kellyn, Courtlyn, Kaelyn, Stacy, Amari and Rachel did a great job serving the food and were very attentive to the guests. Dina did a great job on Bar duty and kudos for the great job she did facilitating my daughter's shower earlier in the month. From start to finish it was a great day. Even Don, the general took the time to come over and great the family and offered his services if we needed anything. It was a nice touch. The whole process from start to finish was very organized. Carolyn was so gracious answering my many emails and coming up with solutions for any issue I had. I am so grateful that I chose the Hilton team to make my daughter and son-in-law's day, The wedding reception was so much better that I even imagined. I would recommend this team to anyone who is planning a wedding or any other event and wants and unforgettable experience where the staff treats you like family.

Carolyn especially put in such hard work for the months leading up to the wedding, was so responsive via phone/email/text, and just overall helpful and supportive and kind this entire process. HGI helped pull off literal magic for us and we are forever grateful. The space, the service, and the food were all exceptional. We can’t tell you how many compliments we’ve received on the food. From cocktail hour to late night snacks, everyone was raving about the food and was stuffed! We are sort of depressed we don’t get to eat it again!! Their job is TOUGH and they are absolute rockstars. The entire weekend was so wonderful for us and our friends & family. They took care of so much, making it such a fun and easy weekend for us. We highly recommend HGI Pittsburgh/Southpointe.

If you are thinking about booking with Hilton garden inn Southpointe i promise it would be the best decision you ever made! & Carolyn pointed us in the right direction for DJ and flowers and photographers! This was the best night of our life and they made it so perfect! We also got married on New Years Eve so it was crazy and we had around 300 people and you wouldn’t even know if anything went wrong! They accommodated all my guests and even many with food restrictions, it was never a problem! I could go on and on for days!! Thank you to all the staff at Hilton garden in Southpointe and to Carolyn Eckler for being one of the kindest people and making my day perfect!!! Absolute 10/10!!!

There wasn't any point leading up to the wedding where I felt confused, or had any doubts as we were constantly kept up to date with timelines, to do lists, etc. I am also the first out of any of my friends to get married, so I really didn't have a clue when it came to certain details and Carolyn helped us every step of the way. A month before my wedding, I unfortunately had an accident and completely destroyed my ankle resulting in multiple surgeries and leaving me wheelchair bound for my big day. Carolyn didn't even sweat it and assured me no matter what we were still going to make it the best day possible. My wedding was more than I ever could have asked or dreamed for and more, and I have Carolyn and the amazing staff to thank for that. 10/7/22 will forever be the greatest, most beautiful day of my life and I am so thankful we chose to have it here. If I could give then a hundred stars I would!
