I cannot recommend the Hilton Garden Inn enough for weddings! They make everything so easy and they are very organized. They were there for me every step of our wedding and it made the whole planning process that much easier. Specifically, Kellyn and Lizzie were very helpful for our big day! They are amazing at communicating and are always ready if you have any questions.

The Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe was a wonderful venue! The staff were amazing to work with through the whole process! Very responsive and accomadating! We had our reception there but also got ready there before our ceremony. The Greene room is gorgeous and very comfortable for preparing for the big day. The ballroom was beautiful and the food was delicious!! Highly recommend having your wedding here!!!

If I could give HGI Southpointe and their staff 100 stars, I would. First and foremost, working with Kellyn Puchalski on our wedding was a pleasure. She was incredibly organized and communicated effectively with all our vendors. Her expertise and experience were evident throughout the planning process, and she made sure everything was executed flawlessly on the wedding day. She has a keen eye for making sure all the details and decor flowed effortlessly with what we had in mind. We can't thank Kellyn enough for all her hard work and encouragement on our day. Everything was absolutely incredible! The food was amazing; everyone loved it. The room was absolutely beautiful, and everything was so organized. And the women, Kellyn and Liz, went above and beyond expectations. They even helped us figure out wedding dress situations the day of. 10/10 would recommend.

The best day of our lives would not have been possible without the Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe and Carolyn. I'm not sure I have enough characters to write everything I love about this place and her! When touring venues, my husband said everything was nice if it was what I wanted. Until we toured the HGI Southpointe, mid tour he said this is it and I finally got a reaction out of him! Carolyn is so talented at her job. She is very upfront about what they have to offer, answers calls and emails quickly, and so reassuring. She schedules meetings with you to touch base and run through everything multiple times to make sure its right. You drop off your décor the week of and she organizes it, so that its not a worry in the days leading up to the Wedding! Day of- she stopped by our getting ready room to assure me everything was handled and make sure I didn’t need anything. She even remembered that I loved High Noons, and even though we did not select them for our bar, she showed up with one at the reception for me! With some issues with our external day of coordinator, I did not have one worry in the world because I knew I trusted Carolyn and her staff with everything in me and that if anything happened or wasn’t how it was supposed to be, she would fix it. She even showed up and helped bustle my dress! She made me feel so special and important. You need to ask for her!! I don’t recommend that you need a day of coordinator when you have her. The food... my guests are still raving about the food. From the food tasting- the chef came out to personally introduce himself and tell us about the plates he prepared for us. They were fully customizable, and he said he would make us anything we wanted. Their food was out of this world, and they box it up and send it to your room for after the reception. The bartenders and reception staff were also amazing, so kind, and constantly checking in to see what we needed! Photos of the venue speak for itself, but it is even more beautiful in person. We also had after party pizzas at Jacksons attached, and they were delicious!

HGI Southpointe was such an amazing venue. So many of my guests commented how much they loved it. A special shout out to Carolyn Eckler. She made the whole planning process stress-free and seamless. She is so sweet and truly loves her job. She made herself available at all hours of the day & night to answer any question and did everything she could to make our day perfect! 10/10! Looking back, I would choose this venue over and over.

We got married at Hilton Garden Inn at the end of September and can not recommend it enough! Everything about our day was perfect. Every member of the hotel staff, from concierge at check in to the bartenders and catering staff, were so amazing and went above and beyond for us at every step of the way. The bartenders were so friendly and served drinks promptly. The food was amazing! Service was quick, even for 200 people, and our guests are still talking about how good everything was. The venue was so accommodating to any allergies/dietary restrictions we gave them. HGI made the process of dropping off decorations, cookies, and other wedding day items so easy. The staff played a huge role in setting up all our decor and it was beautiful! We were fortunate enough to have beautiful weather on our big day and held our ceremony outdoors. The outdoor ceremony location is so beautiful. There are also so many beautiful locations for pictures in and around the hotel! The staff at HGI made the entire planning process so easy for us. The event coordinator we worked with, Carolyn, was the deciding factor in choosing between our final 2 venues. She is AMAZING. She was there to answer every question we had, make recommendations, and every meeting we had with her went so smoothly. Having Carolyn there to help us throughout the planning process and on the big day helped relieve so much stress for us, we knew she would do everything in her power to make things go smoothly. Overall, we are SO happy with the decision we made to have HGI as our venue. We HIGHLY recommend this venue for anyone looking to have their wedding in the area!

HGI Southpointe was the perfect venue!! Carolyn our wedding coordinator made every step of the way stress free. She is very organized and our reception was absolutely perfect!!! All of the staff was great and very accommodating. If there was anything anyone needed they were just on it! It’s a beautiful room and they decorated it just perfect for us. 10/10 would recommend having your reception here!!

If you are thinking of having your wedding anywhere in the Pittsburgh area, HGI Southpointe should be at the top of your list to visit. From the moment we visited, we knew this venue offered EVERYTHING we wanted for our big day. The ballroom is beautiful and can accommodate any vision. The cocktail hour area left plenty of room for our guests to mingle while still feeling like an intimate space. The outdoor space was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. While the venue was perfect, we cannot describe how thankful we are for the staff. Although we did not originally book with Carolyn, I would not have changed our coordinator for anything. The HGI is lucky to have someone so talented, knowledgeable, and passionate about their job. From the many emails back and forth, the Zoom and in-person meetings, and making our specific vision come to life, we cannot express how thankful we are to have had her as part of our day. Carolyn was the best, and you NEED her for your big day too. On the big day, everything was seamless! Not only did Carolyn run the show perfectly, but she had amazing help from her teammate Kellyn. Although we did not meet Kellyn as often, she did not disappoint with her role. On the day of we were so thankful that Kellyn was there to the end to make sure we had everything that we needed. Kellyn was with us to keep us on time and make sure everything ran smoothly. These two make a great team. We would also like to give a big thanks and recommendation to the kitchen staff. We had never had such good food at a wedding, and you would not believe the portion sizes. They took care of every request, substitution, and allergy we threw at them and still made every meal perfectly. All of our guests raved about the food and service. Our server Danny was super sweet and made sure our bridal party was taken care of with each course during the reception AND rehearsal dinner. We cannot thank this staff enough for giving us the most perfect day. If we had to go back and do it all again, we would pick HGI and their team, no questions asked. Have your wedding here!

We chose HGI Southpointe for our wedding venue after the first visit. The grounds were gorgeous, the venue space was beautiful, and the attention to detail paid by Carolyn and staff were enough to make this decision a no brainer. From that very first meeting, everything was genuine, organized, precise, and comforting. Carolyn puts all her passion into helping couples get their big day across the finish line. Working through all the intimate details of a wedding is difficult enough, but with the loss of a parent just 2 weeks before the wedding made it extra difficult. Carolyn could not have been more accommodating and for that, we could not be more thankful. Our wedding went off without a hitch thanks to her and the staff. She kept everything in line, on time, and ensured that us and our 150 guests were all taken care of. The wait staff was on another level not normally seen for such large venues/events. They were attentive, polite, quick, and present. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD and we are still getting compliments over a week later. Every item from the cocktail hour to the soup to the entrees were superb. We highly recommend renting the greene room on the 1st floor. The setup of the room is SUCH a vibe and the girls had so much fun getting ready in there. The outdoor ceremony location is beautifully curated and can be tailored to add anything you could possibly want. The garden is beautifully manicured and creates the perfect location for after ceremony pictures. The reception ball rooms are beautifully renovated with wonderful lighting that create the most inviting space for big or small receptions. The flexibility provided by all these spaces made our day go much smoother since we were able to hold our entire event on site at the HGI. We can't thank Carolyn and her team enough for providing the most perfect atmosphere and location for wedding day.

My husband and I are extremely happy that we chose Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe for our wedding venue. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, photos, reception, and hotel rooms all at HGI. We also loved that we had Jackson’s on site to spend time with our guests the night before and after the reception. On top of the venue being beautiful and convenient, the staff was wonderful. Carolyn was our wedding coordinator, and I knew we were in good hands from the moment I met her. She was with us through every step of the way. She helped SO much with decorating and making the reception of my dreams become a reality. Carolyn and the rest of the staff made the whole process, especially the wedding weekend, so smooth, and took so much stress off my shoulders. Every single detail I told them beforehand was done exactly how I wanted it. Our wedding was a dream, and I can’t thank everyone at HGI enough.

I’m an out of state bride that planned a wedding through texts, emails and phone calls. That was a challenge on its own. I was super unfamiliar with the venues that Pittsburgh had to offer. My fiancé (at the time) and I were looking for a ballroom that could accommodate about 350 people. We looked at 12 venues. After narrowing down the list to 2 venues (HGI being one of them), our main determining factor was the coordinator. I knew from our first interaction that I wanted to work with Carolyn from the Hilton Garden Inn. I wanted to work with someone who was very involved with the planning process, efficient, well informed and gave several updates. All that and more describes Carolyn. I can’t say enough good things about her. I specifically changed my initial wedding date to be able to work with her. She was with me through the entire process. She found times that worked for my fiancé and I for our tasting. She updated me constantly! She gave us ideas of what we should add to our reception/ceremony. She recommended vendors. She was so patient and understanding throughout the whole process…. Even when I would send 2728292 updates to her every day and even with the time zone difference. She had answers to all my concerns. She was on top of everything. I wouldn’t have wanted to work with anyone else. Wedding Day was organized and went by super quickly! It was such a smooth process. Carolyn was there at all times checking on me. The head chef and his team know flavor and the food turned out beautifully seasoned! During our tasting, we got to try several different options for appetizers and entrees. The chef walked us through each option and allowed us to customize what sauces/sides/vegetables we wanted. We had our rehearsal dinner at HGI and the food was great! We loved loved loved the New York Strip. The “wedding day” food at cocktail hour and reception was PHENOMENAL! They accommodate all dietary restrictions. We had about 5 butler passed hors dourves, 6 stationary hors dourves, soup, salad, entree and dessert. We got our money’s worth for sure. Our guests are still raving about the food!! Get the filet mignon and the salmon! THEY WERE AMAZING!!! Carolyn helped coordinate all that! The staff was so nice and welcoming! They tried to accommodate all of our requests. The area around the hotel is quiet and peaceful. It’s close to Pittsburgh and the airport! The gazebo was perfect for our ceremony. The grand ballroom with all the chandeliers is beautiful for a reception. It comfortably fit about 250 guests and 2 bars! I can’t say enough good things about the venue, the coordinators (Carolyn and Kellyn (who was very present during my wedding day and super helpful)), the bartender (Shoutout Dina), the managers and all the staff. If you plan on having a wedding that will blow your mind, don’t hesitate to go with the Hilton Garden Inn at Pittsburgh Southpointe!

The HGI Pittsburgh/Southpointe should be your choice in wedding ceremony and/or reception. The outdoor area for a ceremony is beautiful and doubles as a great campus for photos. The ballrooms are gorgeous, the food is delicious, and the bridal greene room is a beautiful spot to get ready for the day. Carolyn was incredible to work with and made wedding planning easy. The HGI has the process down to a science, they are very good at what they do, and they take a huge burden off of the bride so you can enjoy the day! Jackson's restaurant also has great food if you'd like to have your rehearsal dinner on-site, or have an after party following your reception. I could not recommend HGI enough - get married here!!!

The HGI Pittsburgh/ Southpointe made all my expectations of my wedding day come alive. I could not recommend them more! Carolyn was incredibly responsive and always on the ball when it came to questions to last minute changes. They helped organize and set up my cocktail hour and reception hall. Their accommodation of their "Get Ready Room" was the cherry on top for all the bridesmaids to get hair and makeup done in a secluded area. Overall, the HGI in Pittsburgh/Southpointe went above and beyond for my wedding day and would highly recommend them for future brides

The HGI was an amazing venue for our wedding. Our guests loved being able to come to one place for ceremony, reception, stay and even breakfast the following day. Carolyn and her team were AMAZING to work with. She helped answer all of my questions throughout the year of planning, was super responsive and helpful. Day of I felt like I could just relax and enjoy the day knowing all set up, tear down and event details would be taken care of. Could not be more happy with our choice of venue!

Words can't express how happy I was with the service at Hilton Garde Inn. My daughter and I toured many venues prior to choosing the Hilton. We were won over by Carolyn their event planner. She is truly the reason we chose this particular Hilton. We toured three other Hilton's and none of them had staff that was engaged or as enthusiastic as Carolyn. I was so impressed with her attention to detail that I booked my daughter's shower there also. The wedding and shower went out without a hitch. From the time I arrived the day prior to the wedding. I had everyone go above and beyond for my daughter. Special thanks to Katelyn who assisted with putting the tags onto our gift bags when I was running late. It was so appreciated. She was very gracious and offered to finish for me when I said I was going to finish after my appointment. I cannot express enough thanks to Mark and his team of Debbie and Alicia who took special care of my guests at breakfast. They made a special breakfast for my daughter who has dietary issues. It made her day and was so kind. The front desk staff including Mayella and Michael were so helpful with my guests and facilitating cookie and decorations dop offs and then pick-ups after the wedding. The wedding day itself was beautiful. The wait staff- Kellyn, Courtlyn, Kaelyn, Stacy, Amari and Rachel did a great job serving the food and were very attentive to the guests. Dina did a great job on Bar duty and kudos for the great job she did facilitating my daughter's shower earlier in the month. From start to finish it was a great day. Even Don, the general took the time to come over and great the family and offered his services if we needed anything. It was a nice touch. The whole process from start to finish was very organized. Carolyn was so gracious answering my many emails and coming up with solutions for any issue I had. I am so grateful that I chose the Hilton team to make my daughter and son-in-law's day, The wedding reception was so much better that I even imagined. I would recommend this team to anyone who is planning a wedding or any other event and wants and unforgettable experience where the staff treats you like family.

There truly aren’t enough words for me to express to you how thankful we are to have chosen HGI Pittsburgh/Southpointe for our wedding. Carolyn and the entire Hilton staff provided exceptional service for the entire weekend. Carolyn especially put in such hard work for the months leading up to the wedding, was so responsive via phone/email/text, and just overall helpful and supportive and kind this entire process. HGI helped pull off literal magic for us and we are forever grateful. The space, the service, and the food were all exceptional. We can’t tell you how many compliments we’ve received on the food. From cocktail hour to late night snacks, everyone was raving about the food and was stuffed! We are sort of depressed we don’t get to eat it again!! Their job is TOUGH and they are absolute rockstars. The entire weekend was so wonderful for us and our friends & family. They took care of so much, making it such a fun and easy weekend for us. There are literally no words to explain how greatful and amazing our wedding was! Having the Hilton Garden Inn for our wedding and reception was the best decision we ever made! Everything was beyond perfect and Carolyn helped us through every small detail. From the food to the set up she had everything under control and made everything so easy! The staff was unbelievably amazing and truly cared about us as a couple! I felt like everyone was family and they didn’t treat us as just another couple getting married! There were even small things I had forgotten and the night before the wedding Carolyn went above and beyond and got everything I needed! Even down to the bouquet that I forgot! She had one made and waiting for me the next day which was the morning of the wedding! Everything was included and they set up everything and if we wanted to change anything they were so accommodating! If you are thinking about booking with Hilton garden inn Southpointe i promise it would be the best decision you ever made! & Carolyn pointed us in the right direction for DJ and flowers and photographers! This was the best night of our life and they made it so perfect! We also got married on New Years Eve so it was crazy and we had around 300 people and you wouldn’t even know if anything went wrong! They accommodated all my guests and even many with food restrictions, it was never a problem! I could go on and on for days!! Thank you to all the staff at Hilton garden in Southpointe and to Carolyn Eckler for being one of the kindest people and making my day perfect!!! Absolute 10/10!!!

I absolutely LOVED having my wedding here! Our coordinator was Carolyn, and I cannot recommend her enough. She made everything so easy, she was so detailed oriented and organized, and is without a doubt one of the sweetest people I know. There wasn't any point leading up to the wedding where I felt confused, or had any doubts as we were constantly kept up to date with timelines, to do lists, etc. I am also the first out of any of my friends to get married, so I really didn't have a clue when it came to certain details and Carolyn helped us every step of the way. A month before my wedding, I unfortunately had an accident and completely destroyed my ankle resulting in multiple surgeries and leaving me wheelchair bound for my big day. Carolyn didn't even sweat it and assured me no matter what we were still going to make it the best day possible. My wedding was more than I ever could have asked or dreamed for and more, and I have Carolyn and the amazing staff to thank for that. 10/7/22 will forever be the greatest, most beautiful day of my life and I am so thankful we chose to have it here. If I could give then a hundred stars I would!

We were so glad that we decided to have our wedding at HGI Southpointe. The venue was beautiful including the outdoor ceremony area and especially the updated ballroom. Our favorite part about having our wedding there was working with Carolyn. She was always very friendly and accommodating. She was well organized and a great planner with attention to detail from beginning to end. The rehearsal and the wedding day went great mostly due to her support. We absolutely loved our wedding and are so happy we picked HGI and had the opportunity to work with Carolyn.

We had our wedding a few weeks ago and cannot recommend HGI Southpointe enough - everything from the food, decor, and vendor coordination was seamless and exactly the way we wanted. We got so many comments from family and friends about how much the enjoyed the food, decor, and other aspects of our wedding. It’s also super helpful that you can get ready, have a ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all at one venue. A huge benefit was having coordinators with the venue who helped with planning every step of the way- with prompt responses to questions leading up to the wedding, and lots of support in the days leading up to and on the day of the wedding that made everything go off without a hitch even with some last minute changes. Alex and Carolyn were amazing and we loved working with them and this venue!

Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Southpointe and Carolyn Eckler are THE absolute best and most professional at executing every single meaningful detail and aspect of your wedding or special event. We looked at many venues, the appeal of having both ceremony + reception in one place with no transportation woes was our goal but we struggled to find a venue with ample outdoor space for a ceremony or photos. When we found the Hilton, it checked every box & more! There's so much usable outside space both on property and across the street for photos that you can easily create a variety of scenes. The packages they offer are rich with amenities & executed flawlessly, from the tasting process to meeting the amazing chefs and going through their menu, nothing but a positive experience. We received SO many compliments from our guests l've lost count: the rooms being so nice, modern & affordable (a lot of our guests travel often for work), how absolutely delicious the food was + how much of it there was, the luxurious spaces both inside & outside (the bridal suite, the outdoor ceremony space + pergola structure already there + ability to host a cigar bar with folks outside after dinner) & how spacious the ballroom was. Carolyn is in lock-step with her couples, multiple rounds of questions & immediate responses, with perfect tracking & timing for the day-of. And the truest testament, still available for questions or needs afterwards, as she truly makes you a priority. l can't say enough how great she is to work with and how perfect our special day was thanks to all of the staff.

STOP YOUR SEARCHING AND BOOK THIS VENUE!! If I could give the Hilton Garden Inn and their staff a 10 star rating I would. Carolyn is the BEST and sweetest person to work with.. and when I say she will make your dreams come true.. I mean that she will take your dream and turn it into something way more than you could have ever imagined. We just had our reception here on 7/30/22 and are still in awe of how PERFECT everything was. Being that I just went through this process... I know how stressful planning can be. Carolyn took all the stress away and gave us the most perfect day of our lives!! Since the very first time meeting with her she was so helpful, kind, informative, and gives amazing recommendations for other vendors. After choosing the Hilton everything else simply fell into place. From the DJ to the cake to the photographer ect. ... Carolyn was there to ensure we got the best of the best AND at a reasonable price. I cannot thank her and her team enough for everything that they did. You can tell they went above and beyond for us and our day. I am telling you that you will not regret booking them. We have talked to so many other vendors prior to Carolyn but as soon as we meet with her it just all made sense. She was really so helpful and just so so kind. She is someone you want by your side to help plan your day. She made sure our dreams came true. I cannot recommend this venue enough. It turned out absolutely gorgeous .. We had all 3 sections of the ballroom and had around 200 guests. Every single one of those guests had told us how beautiful our wedding was and how AMAZING THE FOOD WAS. I almost forgot to mention.. the FOOD .. 100/100!! We went with the dual entrée of chicken and filet ... seriously so amazing. Best chicken we ever had. So to wrap it up .. stop the search and book with them. Give them a try and I promise you will fall in love just like we did and have a wedding beyond what you could have ever imagined.

Absolutely. amazing. I would have my wedding here over and over again without hesitation. Everything went seamlessly. Carolyn was absolutely amazing, as well as all the other staff. They made me and my now husband feel so special and worked with absolutely any request we have. Not only were we made special, but so were our parents who are also so important to us. I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the staff. The venue itself is beautiful. The ballroom is able to accommodate both large and small weddings, and the outdoor ceremony space is gorgeous. We got so many compliments on how amazing the food was. If you book this venue, you will be assigned a venue coordinator. We worked with Carolyn, and she was absolutely fantastic. She was always available to answer my questions, was able to make accommodations to everything I asked for, and made sure that my now husband and I had the best day ever. Highly recommend this venue!

Zach and I had the absolute best wedding we could’ve imagined at the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh/Southpointe! Everything was spectacular and our guests raved about it all night long too! Carolyn did an amazing job as our wedding coordinator, we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help with our wedding day! We can’t wait to go back next year for our 1 year anniversary!

We got married at the Hilton in Southpointe on May 29th. We had both our ceremony and reception there and it was absolutely beautiful! We had Carolyn as our coordinator throughout the whole process and I literally could not sing her praises enough! She made the day run so smoothly and if there were any hiccups, I never knew about it. The food was amazing and everyone has been talking about it since. The entire staff at the hotel were so easy to work with and so accommodating with all of mine, my husband’s, and our parents requests. We also loved the convenience of having everything in one place and not having to worry about anyone driving home afterwards.

Cannot say enough about the Hilton Garden Inn and Carolyn! Anything we needed they provided. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and the food was tremendous. On top of that the staff is amazing. Every time we met (and it was many due to rescheduling twice due to COVID and deployment) Carolyn was always so positive and accommodating. If you want a gorgeous stress-free wedding this is the place to go!

The Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh/Southpointe is the best ever!!! They were nothing but accommodating for our wedding, even after we had to reschedule 2 times because of COVID! Carolyn is absolutely amazing; she is extremely personable and reliable. She will make sure your day is perfect and will make sure you have everything you could ever want. I cannot recommend this venue enough. It is gorgeous, the food was absolutely incredible, and the staff can’t be beat. We’ve received so many compliments after our wedding about how great everything was and that it was the best! Planning a wedding is stressful, but I never once felt stressed when dealing with the venue and Carolyn because all they wanted to do was help and make everything perfect.

We just had a wedding here and we could not get over how amazing the staff was. From the bartenders to the servers just amazing. Carolyn was our event coordinator and she was the best of the best. Anything we ever needed she was on the ball. During our reception she not only checked in on me and my husband throughout the whole reception but also our families. Me and my bridesmaids had the green room and it is a must if you and your girls want to get ready for the day there. Perfect lighting for pictures too! I just loved this place for my wedding and would tell anyone and everyone to come here!

I couldn't have been happier with the Hilton Garden Inn. Alex Jordan was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was so personable, and answered every question and concern I had along the way. The food is absolutely incredible, to the point where people were telling me the fillet was one of the best they've ever had. Book this place--you will not regret it for a second!

This hotel legitimately gave us the best day of our lives. Alex and her team were so attentive, caring, and just absolutely spectacular. The space was AMAZING - just gorgeous. The wait-staff were so great. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. They will make your wedding day the best day ever.

Alex and her team were an absolute dream to work with! Made sure every detail was perfectly in place and coordinated every vendor so well. The food was delish everyone continued to come up to us talking about how good all the apps and meals were! Planning process was so easy. We upgraded to chivari chairs and light backdrop behind our sweetheart table and it transformed the space. Highly recommend this venue!

We found the Hilton garden with less than 60 days until our wedding date, due to previous plans falling through. When we met with Carolyn, we knew from the beginning that we made the right choice. Both professional and personable, Carolyn was able to handle the logistics without any stress on our part. The ceremony was beautiful (we used the outdoor courtyard), the staff were on point, and the food was delicious. We feel that we received a ton of value for our dollar and could not imagine a more perfect wedding for our needs.

We had a ton of elaborate decorations and details that Alex and her team were able to set up perfectly. The venue is beautiful, there is space for photos, cocktail hour, and the ballroom. We had an amazing wedding. Carolyn and the team made everything run so smoothly that I didn’t feel like I had anything to worry about that day! The staff was professional and helped with so much they really go above and beyond. The food was especially amazing! And many of our guests commented on how amazing the staff was!
