The entire staff put together a beautiful reception room. They constantly checked on my wife and I throughout the night to make sure we had everything we needed. I’m so glad we chose them and couldn’t have had a more perfect evening.

orld that impacted many things. Well Wendy became our main point of contact and she helped work out everything and was completely flexible with making our day magical but also safe for the times. Wendy and the Hilton went above and beyond for us, the level of how they worked with us is unheard of. We absolutely loved Wendy! The service team was impeccable, Damien was phenomenal and so was Mary! We got so many compliments about the Hilton and guests felt taken care of and my husband and I felt like celebrities! The venue is gorgeous, everything turned out beyond perfect! The food was so good, we had tons of compliments on how yummy the dishes were from guests. The Hilton took care of everything! We had our rehearsal in the garden grill, ceremony in the sundeck and the reception in the ballroom. It was so nice to have the board room rented out too, we had appetizers out in there by the service team. We even highly enjoyed the suite room for our stay, perfect also for getting your bridesmaids hair and makeup done because it was so spacious. We had the time of our life and the Hilton was exceptional! This is a top notch venue with the best service team you’ll ever find. Special shout out to Damien and Mary! You will not find people as caring and accommodating as them.

We knew we wanted our reception to be on the oceanfront, so we made a few appointments with different hotels in June 2017. The HGI was our first stop and it should have been our only stop. None of the other hotels could compete with the views and friendly staff at the HGI. After talking with Lynell and getting the tour of the hotel rooms, banquet hall, and cocktail hour area (complete with gorgeous balcony), we knew we had found what we were looking for. Lynell was professional and SO helpful throughout the entire process. She reached out to us when needed, and was quick to answer any emails we sent her way. We loved and appreciated her attention to detail (ex: writing down both of our preferred drinks during a casual conversation, only to find them waiting for us at our head table. :) ). . When Lynell received my inquiry, she called me directly and from that moment, I knew that we would have our wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn VB Oceanfront. She listened to every detail I wanted to include, made suggestions and recommendations, stayed in contact with me through every step of planning, and went above in beyond in making our day perfect. Our ceremony was on the sun deck which was shaded and breezy by our 5PM start. The staff had all of the deck furniture cleared out and our chairs arranged. The catering team and the wait staff that served our guests at dinner were phenomenal. Miguel, Mike, and Mary (one of the Bartenders) have incredible customer service skills and they genuinely care about the people they are serving. And the food ... our guests are still telling us how much they loved their meals! Our day couldn't have been anymore perfect! Thank you, Lynell and everyone at the HGI VB Oceanfront!

he very first meeting, she was professional, transparent and super sweet! She laid out all of our options and we loved the customization of this venue! When we left our first meeting, me and my now husband knew this was the place that we wanted to get married. Throughout the process Lynell, Katelyn and Kara were so responsive to all of our emails and they were always so pleasant on the phone. I loved that they were just as excited for our wedding day as we were. Our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect! Though the rain wouldn't allow us to have the ceremony outside on their beautiful sun deck, the staff transformed the ballroom into a beautiful ceremony space! More than I could have ever dreamed of! Lynell made sure to check on us during the night which we really appreciated! All of the staff that night including Damien, David & Patrick were on point!! Plus they were so much fun and enjoyed our wedding as much as we did!! We cannot thank Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Oceanfront enough for all of their help, time and patience! nn but none really felt right. It didn't matter though, because the minute I walked into the Hilton Garden Inn, I just knew. Everything about the Hilton Garden Inn is perfect. The view is breathtaking and the hotel itself is beautiful, and my guests are still raving about the crab cakes and filet mignon. But what I loved most was the staff. I cannot say enough about how accommodating Lynell and her staff were during the entire process. Thank you so much for being so caring and friendly from start to finish!

It was perfect! The staff was super helpful everyone from the catering coordinator, front desk to the housekeeping staff. The catering staff was also excellent and went above and beyond to make the groom and myself happy! No body missed a single detail the entire weekend! And the food was delicious, I'm pretty sure all our friends will be talking about the amazing mac and cheese for a while!

Veronica went above and beyond in helping to offer suggestions since we were wedding novices. She also helped us plan and coordinate our rehearsal dinner in a different location inside the hotel with a lovely, eclectic menu. We loved being able to have our ceremony outside on the 3rd floor sundeck. The Hilton Garden Inn Oceanfront is an excellent choice, and we have already recommended it to others. The staff made our wedding memorable and special.

aff was top notch and went above and beyond the call of duty. Veronica, the catering manager, was extremely accommodating. We had asked about having my husband's favorite beer as one of our choices for the bar. It was only available on tap at the time so she made sure that there was a pitcher of it just for my husband. It was little touches like this that made us really appreciate the venue and their staff. The servers were professional and made extra attempts to make the evening special and memorable. The food was absolutely amazing. Months later I still have people telling me about how much they enjoyed the short ribs on our buffet (trust me - they are that good). We are so glad that we chose to have our reception at the Hilton Garden Inn VB Oceanfront!
