The hotel was gorgeous and I have no complaints about the accommodations other than the hotel restaurant being a little expensive. Parking was free and it was easy to get to the mall and downtown from there. However, almost every out of town guest had massive problems when trying to book their rooms. There was only one helpful person, Pam, who was able to book any of my friends and family correctly. I would've posted earlier but I was scared things might get even more screwed up if I said how unhappy I was with them before the wedding. The group rate couldn't be beat though.

My husband and I got married April 10, 2011 at this venue and were truly happy with the experience. Although at the time of our wedding the hotel was undergoing renovations, it was still a very memorable experience. The wedding coordinator took all of the ideas I gave him and made my wedding more beautiful than I imagined according to our budget. The hotel staff were very welcoming and polite to the bridal party and to all of our guests. They really made me feel like a princess for the whole time I stayed at the hotel. Our ceremony was held in their skylit atrium - absolutely gorgeous! Our cocktail hour followed in the hall between the atrium and the ballroom. The reception was stunning in the ballroom....simply elegant!
For our one year anniversary, my husband and I wanted to go back to the Hilton and reminisce on the memories of our wedding day. We were welcomed with open arms and were given a complementary suite for the night. We came back to the Hilton completely renovated and more elegant than I had remembered from the year before.
I definitely recommend this venue for any bride who wants to have an amazing wedding with beautiful memories. Everything was perfect :)

I was more of a budget conscious bride. I used the Hilton McLean for my ceremony and booking rooms for my out-of-town guests. They are just completing a renovation of the entire hotel and it looks BEAUTIFUL. Weddings in Tyson's Corner are expensive. But with the Hilton, I felt as though I actually got my money's worth. I had wanted an outdoor ceremony, and my (now)husband reminded me of the unpredictable weather in DC. We selected the atrium, which is STUNNING. I would NOT pack more than 85 people, since that was what we had total, and it was plenty full. The guests rooms were very inexpensive for the area. The rooms, hotel itself, and everything was so beautiful. Clean, simple, modern. The staff was friendly, knew us by name, and extended every courtesy. Make sure that you use Chelsea Sparaco as your go to person. She just recently began working there, and she knows her stuff. She started working there closer to the date of my wedding, and instantly became my go-to person. I was sooo thankful for her. The shuttle was also mega helpful for my guests. They loved it and used it throughout the weekend.
