our day was extra perfect. The setup was super easy, she connected with our vendors, and overall it was absolutely beautiful. If you're looking for amazing service, great food and an excellent staff, this is the place to go. Our family, friends and out of town guests raved about the service at the hotel. On top of that, the bridal suite was gorgeous and our venue on the plaza was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend if you do look at the venue to consider the Promenade Plaza.

r view was amazing! Our reception room was stunning... high ceilings, ample space! The food was delicious, as well as the Red Velvet Cake! The bridal suite had the best view of the Coronado Bridge, Downtown San Diego and beyond! I am so happy we chose to be married at this location.

in from out of town. We were so happy with this venue. The food was fantastic and the service was amazing. Some of our guests had food allergies and the staff was accommodating without making the guests feel as though they were being difficult. The attention to detail really made the day special for us. Our coordinator, Nickole, was so approachable and easy to work with--we felt comfortable with her right away. This venue is not cheap, but it was worth every penny. Our wedding day was perfect!

The downsides: 1) the...
re is a HUGE Dole banana barge that pulls in about 5pm and if you're getting married in the grassy park area, all of your guests will see it 2) The service was pretty good but we found them to be a little difficult at times. We were initially told that we could have welcome bags given to our guests at check in but it would be $4 per bag for delivery to the rooms. Then we were told that it was $4 per bag regardless of how they were distributed. This was a bit off putting based on the amount of money we were spending for the wedding. 3) Trying to expand the number of rooms in our room block was also difficult so make sure you give an accurate number of rooms that you will want. We were told we could add to it as necessary and that ultimately was not the case.
As a caveat - the original planner we were working with at the Hilton was amazing but then she went out on maternity leave. The new person we were given didn't really do weddings so I think that's where things went bad. She tried hard but seemed to be a little less accomodating than our original contact.
All in all, this was an amazing hotel! It was beautiful - the decor, the rooms, everything! I'm glad we chose the Hilton Bayfront to get married. We had 150 guests and they have done nothing but compliment us on the location and the food. My wedding cake was included as part of the package and it was absolutely beautiful!
