We used this hotel for our room block and rehearsal dinner. Dinner was easily the best catered meal of the weekend, and all the guests loved their stay! Shoutout for having fire pits and s’mores packets, too.
If you want to be disrespected to and talked back to by the event manager, Rebecca ~ have your wedding weekend at the Ridgeline hotel! We had our wedding weekend in Estes Park that was originally planned for 2020 and was postponed to June 2022. I have a large jewish family and have been working two jobs for the past two years to pay for our wedding. I will say, we had 36 rooms reserved for our party (about half the hotel), our rehearsal dinner at Ridgeline, and our farewell brunch at the Ridgeline hotel. Overall, I am estimating that we paid Ridgeline over $20,000 between the events and everyone's rooms throughout the weekend. The weekend went very well, all of the events were smooth and I had been working with Rebecca for over six months to make our weekend spectacular. I paid for my vendors to stay at Ridgeline as they had worked a 12-14 hour day on our wedding day. I had two other vendors stay at Ridgeline, who checked in during the day and no problems with my credit card on file. My photographer, who had worked a 15 hour day, checked into ridgeline on the late evening of our wedding at 12:30 AM in the morning after starting photography on our wedding at 10:00 AM the day before. I had paid for her room with my card on file. The night staff was incredibly rude, would not let her check in, or offer her a room without her putting a card down. My card was on file but the names didn't match and they wouldn't accept it. She was turned away and left in tears. My photographer has been taking our family photos for four years and I was livid about how Ridgeline treated her. I went over to Ridgeline the next morning and asked to speak to Rebecca. She yelled at me saying "how dare I speak to her this way" "it is my photographers fault for leaving" and "this is not their responsibility or their problem". All they had to do was reimburse Shelby for the room. A $250 refund for the amount that we spent over the entire weekend and apologize for their mistake did not seem to much to ask for from me. I am aware that night staff is hard to come by and is less cognizant of policies than day staff. Rebecca screamed at me in front of my guests at our farewell brunch of 60 people. Most people heard and I had some family that witnessed my photographers and the front desk staff interaction. Several people tried to come up to talk to her and explain the situation other than a distressed bride at this point but she wouldn't listen and was rude to everyone. I have over 30 witnesses of this entire event. It was horrifying. I would never recommend her or work with her again. She is a brides worst nightmare and clearly cannot handle when there is a problem. I had 15 vendors throughout my wedding weekend and have been replanning for years. She was the only one out of everyone that was rude and so disrespectful. Mistakes happen at weddings, I encountered several. However, they were all handled with simple apologies, grace, and a solution to fix them. This was the only one that was handled so so so poorly. I will also be emailing upper management about this but I wanted to let everyone else know. If you are a bride or are looking for a wedding venue, room block hotel, or rehearsal dinner/ brunch do not utilize the Ridgeline hotel or Rebecca as their event manager!
Rebecca Sosa at the Ridgeline Hotel made our day perfect. Words can't describe how grateful I am for her, and for the experience she gave us. She was thrown into our wedding half way through our experience due to a shift in staff, and although we have my favorite first impression ever, she is someone I consider a friend! She made every detail our our ceremony and reception perfect, accommodated every request I had to the absolute best of her ability, and the Ridgeline staff provided delicious food and drinks! Our room set up was a dream, and I'll forever be grateful I chose to have the most important day of our lives here. All our guests were comfortable in their rooms, and the pool was SUCH a fun place for the children who attended as well. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!!
The Ridgeline was such a great place to celebrate the start of our marriage! They were so easy to work with, always willing to answer my questions. The planning and set up was so easy! We also had our Rehearsal Dinner/Welcome Dinner here in another area of the hotel separate from our reception. Such a great experience!
Dana and her staff made our dream come true!!! She was so attentive and understanding throughout the entire process, especially when we changed our date from March to August. She went above and beyond to accommodate all of our family coming in from out of state. The food was delicious and the courtyard was beautiful. It was a dream!! Thank you Dana and team for making our wedding even more perfect!
We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all at the Ridgeline and every one of them was amazing! The food, drinks, and atmosphere were perfect. Working with Dana was super easy and she was there to help throughout every step of the process. I cant recommend the ridgeline enough!
We had our rehearsal dinner at Ridgeline. Dana was a pleasure to work with. Everything went very smoothly and we were very happy with the service. I didn’t love the food but it is very difficult to serve 100 people. Drinks and appetizers were great. The atmosphere was perfect. Everything was laid out in the contract and there were no hidden fees
Great place for rehearsal dinner and hotel block!
Dana and the whole Ridgeline team were amazing. We were a large wedding and they accomodated us perfectly :)
The Ridgeline was amazing, all thanks to Dana! She was everything an event planner should be. She reached out, communicated, and even decorated the rest of my reception when I had to get ready. I had a great time and for a great price in beautiful Estes Park. The only complaint I heard from many guests was that it was hard to contact the reception desk and communicate about resverations.
The Ridgeline Hotel was awesome! The ballroom was beautifully decorated. The staff was so attentive during the dinner and reception! Dana made the planning process so easy. It was stressful planning my reception from Texas but Dana was amazing to work with. I feel like I literally just picked a few things out and Dana and staff did the rest! It was a magical evening!
We didn't use The Ridgeline to host any events, but our entire group traveled from Texas and stayed here in rooms they held for us in a courtesy block. The rooms were great and we got a really great deal with the group discount. Dana and the whole team were very welcoming and accommodating including bringing up a makeup table, keeping our cake in the fridge, and handing out our welcome bags. We couldn't have pulled all of this off without them! We made use of the fire pits, the game room, the pool and the restaurant and had a great time the entire wedding weekend. Highly recommend this hotel!
We had our Welcome Party the night before our wedding at the Ridgeline, and used the hotel for our room blocks for a destination wedding in Estes Park. Even though the Ridgeline was undergoing a transition in management at the time, we did not feel a lapse in customer service. On the day of, everything was perfect. We had a taco buffet and it was a hit! I would definitely recommend the Ridgeline Hotel for events and accommodation.
We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Ridgeline. The staff were very flexible and accommodating and the food was awesome. The whole process went smoothly. It is a lovely facility and met our needs well. Thank you Dana for all of your assistance.
The Ridgeline is fantastic to work with! You don’t have to do anything and they take care of anything and everything! Easiest way to plan a wedding! Couldn’t have asked for better!
We worked with Dana for a Rehearsal Dinner in Latitude restaurant. She was very helpful and professional. The party went off without a hitch and our guests are still raving about the location/setup and food! We highly recommend working with them for your event.
After very last minute and unforeseen circumstances with our previously booked, we changed our reception venue to Ridgeline and we are so thankful we did! Dana is AMAZING! She is so sweet and made any request large or small happen. She was responsive and professional leading up to the wedding and on the day of. The chef worked with us to make sure we were happy with the food- and it was excellent! We extended the reception by an hour at the very last minute and the bar staff and Dana weren't even phased! We were so pleased with the reception and Ridgeline!
We used the Ridgeline to book a room block for our wedding guests. I worked with Dana and she was very professional and responsive, and answered all of our questions prior to us signing the contract. They are very accommodating and it was easy to get our block reserved and supply the information to our guests. Best of all, they don’t require that you (the host) have to pay for un-reserved rooms after a certain date and just release them (if you have booked a hotel block you know how rare this is!) The hotel itself is very nice and clean, and all of our guests raved about how much they enjoyed it. The prices were great for peak time (October) in Estes Park. Overall they were just wonderful to work with and we will definitely stay at the Ridgeline when we visit again!
The Ridgeline was the best place to have our wedding reception!! The ball room had plenty of room for people to walk around and to dance! The food was delicious! The price for the reception fit our budget we were working with! I loved working with Dana to plan our wedding she helped a lot very easy to work with and helpful! I would recommend the Ridgeline for your wedding reception venue to anyone!
We did not originally book at Ridgeline but 6 weeks before our wedding Mary’s Laje Lodge has their devestating fire and we had to relocate. It was stressful but Ridgeline was the most easy to work with in such a short amount of time. Dana Paiment was our wedding coordinator there and I cannot day enough wonderful things about her. She is so patient and was able to do everything we wanted done for our wedding with no problems! Their outdoor patio was beautiful and we had a great time.
Couldn’t be happier!
