Holli Ann Studios

Holli did an amazing job with our pictures. She helped us to capture some unique shots. She was reasonable priced and really worked with us to capture what we were looking for along with some other things that we didn't even think about.

My choice of wedding photographer is my biggest regret. Holli wasn't friendly and I could not get a hold of her until the Wednesday before my wedding (which was on Saturday) to go over the timeline. It took months to get our photos back and then there were ones of my entire extended family that were not on there. I contacted Holli for over a year and never got the photo that my grandma was so excited about. She ignored my phone calls, emails, and Facebook messages for months before telling me she just didn't have the photo anymore. My wedding was in 2016 and just writing about our experience still infuriates me. I do NOT recommend Holli. It was terrible.

I highly recommend Holli for wedding pictures! I first met Holli when she photographed my sister's wedding in 2013. My sister was extremely happy with her and I was impressed with her work as well. I wanted my wedding pictures to be the very best they could be. That's why I chose Holli too for my own wedding this past June. She and her second shooter did a fabulous job. Holli was focused and professional and her assistant was friendly and helpful. About a month after the wedding, I had access to over 900 photos!! And I could not be more happy with how they turned out. They are absolutely beautiful. Holli definitely has a gift! I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the pictures and having Holli design our wedding album.

I would suggest finding a different photographer who is detail-oriented and reliable. I was referred to Holli by a coworker and compared her portfolio and package options to quite a few other photographers in the area. She showed great work and included much more for what you paid for (i.e. second photographer, longer length of time shooting, etc.). We met a few times and she seemed experienced and knowledgeable. With that being said, I wish I had gone with someone else. Our engagement pictures were nice; she wasn't overly friendly but I wasn't worried about that because she seemed focused. We were able to use our print credit in the package we chose to turn our engagement pictures into a guest book for the wedding. Our wedding was in September and because of the timing, she told us from the beginning it would take 8-10 weeks to get our pictures back which we said was fine. I thought it was odd that I didn't hear from her after our wedding (sometimes you see photographers post/send sneak peaks) but I didn't hear anything from her, even a thank you for business. At week 10, I had to contact her to see when we could expect our pictures. She mailed me a flashdrive a few weeks later. When I opened the flashdrive, I was disappointed. Although our pictures were decent, I didn't see the ones I really wanted (we had sat down to go over specific pictures I wanted and I gave her a print out of my ideas). For example, we had a trolley with a "just married" sign on the back and there aren't any pictures of us on the back of it or any pictures of the outside of the trolley at all. I also wanted to capture the look of my dad and husband when I did a first look with them but instead, you see my face and the back of their heads.. The beach pictures were very important to me but there are only two areas that pictures were taken and both areas had only one angle. In addition, my garter was showing in many of them and I wish she had told me to move my dress down because it looks too risque. There were also black dots on a large number of pictures - I'm not sure if there was sand or dirt on the camera lens, but I'm stuck with them this way. The reception pictures on the flashdrive were corrupted so she sent me the link to the online gallery. After many failed attempts to download the pictures from the gallery, I had to drive to meet up with Holli to get another flashdrive. She didn't apologize for the inconvenience or the picture issues. When I was able to see the reception pictures, I realized there weren't many candid shots of our guests. There was only one (bad) picture of our entrance. The father-daughter dance and first dance were shot from the same, low angle and the bright light she brought can be seen in each picture (and not in a good way). When it came time to order the canvas print in our package, it was a constant back and forth to get it. She claims she switched print vendors but I really think she forgot to order it. Again, no apology for the delay. Looking back, I wish I had gone with a different photographer. My pictures aren't terrible but I know they could have been so much better and my overall experience with her was extremely disappointing. The "low" cost of her package options ($2,600) is not worth the hassle. I recommend finding someone else.
