Not only is Holly the most talented, creative, passionate and detail-oriented photographer in the midwest..she also has a heart of gold, vibrant energy, is great at communicating, and has a way of always making you feel heard and seen. Holly has captured special moments for us over the years from family photo sessions, the day of our engagement, to most recently our wedding day and she exceeds all expectations every time. Holly encourages YOUR wants and needs as a bride, and was genuinely so much fun to work with. She remained transparent, reliable and communicative throughout our planning process, the days leading up to the wedding, and the entire day of. I couldn't be happier with how every.single.one. of our wedding photos turned out. Her and her team showed up and were organized, patient, kind, positive, and truly A BLAST to have along with us throughout our day. I wish I could give Holly more than 5 stars because she truly exceeded all of our expectations when it came to our Wedding photos!!! Holly is beyond talented. The quality of her photos and her editing skills are amazing but her ability to capture moments and emotion in every picture is what makes her stand out. Every time I look back at my wedding photos I’m immediately taken back to how I felt in that moment and that is such a special feeling! Holly did more than just take great photos though, she was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the whole process. She asks all the right questions to make sure she knows exactly what you want, because she truly wants to make her clients happy! Something that shocked me with Holly was how involved she was in creating the photography timeline of the day and how to get all the photos I wanted in a way that made the day flow smoothly. During this process she also offered a few ideas of her own, which further showed how creative she is. For example, I wasn’t doing a “send off” or “fake exit” at the end of the night, but Holly came up with the idea of getting “no-mess streamer poppers” and bringing them out on the dance floor and having all the guests surrounding me and my husband and then popping them off at the same time over us in order to still get us a really fun/epic picture that involved all our guests. And it ended up being one of my favorite pictures!!! Holly is truly just so kind, easy to work with, she’s so fun and creative and besides being an incredibly talented photographer, she’s also an amazing person inside and out. I will 100% be using her again in the future and I will continue to recommend her to everyone I know!!

Holly’s dedication to her clients is above & beyond any photographer I’ve ever worked with before. I recently had a baby and my hospital went on and on about how they had a photography company that came in daily to photography the newborn babies. The two days I was in the hospital, the company no showed. I was devastated. I’m a wedding planner and my client hired Holly to photograph her wedding in 2022. I loved working the wedding with Holly and the work she produced. I texted Holly and she dropped everything to come and take pictures of my newborn in the hospital, on the coldest day of the year! She also came to my house to take photos of our family at home. The photos are a true work of art and Holly is truly an artist and incredible person! She made each session so much fun and gave us memories to last a lifetime. You cannot go wrong in hiring Holly for any of your photographer needs!

We cannot say enough good things about Holly. The quality of our photos was the highest. Holly was a joy to work with and made our whole wedding feel intimate. She captured our love and documented all the raw moments of our day. We loved seeing her documentary style of work, as we saw parts of the day that we never got to experience, like our guests reactions to the ceremony. She captured every shot we wanted, and even more we didn’t think of. She is an amazingly talented photographer and I cannot recommend her enough.

Holly was my dream wedding photographer! She got the most incredible shots without me even noticing she was there! She staged large group photos in the most ingenious ways. She made all the pictures come to life! We had two very young ring bearers in our party and Holly worked with them so well and they smiled in every single picture! Everyone in our wedding party loved Holly and said she made the picture taking process so fun and easy! I cannot stop looking at our pictures. I will cherish them for the rest of my life!

We used Holly for our engagement shoot and wedding day and she was absolutely amazing!!! I love her style of photography and how she captures the true feelings and emotions on everyone’s faces. We had so many great bride & groom portraits plus all the fun reception photos of our guests. Her personality is very calming and she really makes you feel SO comfortable being photographed. We received our highlights very quickly after our wedding and Holly helped with any edit requests that we had on our full gallery. Even our wedding party and guests were commenting on how great she is!

This review is based on my wedding from September 2022. I feel like a photography review should be based off two separate components: 1) the photographs received, and 2) the overall experience of working with the photographer. I’d give the photos I received 4/5 stars. They were nice and I received a lot of compliments from friends and family but I wasn’t blown away obsessed with them like I’d hoped. I just wish we’d had more nice ones of my husband and I smiling looking at the camera; instead, a lot of our photos were posed as if we were meant to be in an artsy catalog. The experience, specifically the lack of communication, is what really disappointed me. I would give that 2/5 stars. Our contract states I should’ve received preview shots within 48hrs from the wedding, I did not get previews until 24 days later and that was only after I had to ask for them. Additionally, the contract did not state when I should have my entire gallery completed so when I asked Holly, she said 3 months. I did not get my wedding photos until 4.5 months after my wedding. I wouldn’t be so upset if there had been some communication or apology for the delay, without me having to reach out first. Just a simple text update like “omg I’m so sorry, I’ve been so busy, I’m working on your gallery this week!” Working with Holly in person was great! She handled the chaos of our tight timeline well and she did an amazing job of corralling people. But the poor communication is where you really lost me.

Holly did an AMAZING job for our wedding pics (and engagement). Holly was super friendly and is very talented. She also helped us to wrangle our large bridal party and ensure things ran smoothly. From start to finish, Holly was incredible to work with. This girl has some serious talent. You can tell just by talking to her how passionate she is about photography and ultimately, making her clients her #1 priority. It was an absolute pleasure working with Holly on our wedding (engagement session + wedding day). The three things I was looking for in a photographer was quality and editing style that I liked, a fun personality that was easy to work with, and affordable pricing. Holly checked all of those boxes. She made us feel so comfortable while shooting. Day of the wedding she was able to be direct in what she wanted and even went to ask some people to move their car so she could get the perfect shot! She truly went above and beyond. Not to mention how all of my bridal party and guests raved about her and how fun she was. Also about 2 weeks after the wedding she was able to get us a preview of a big chunk of photos which was so nice to hold us over till the rest came. Could not recommend her enough!

We had Holly do both our engagement shoot and wedding photos. Honestly, how she made our scrawny chihuaua look like a model is still beyond me. But seriously...EVERYONE from my wedding commented on what an excellent job she did, she captured so many shots I would never have thought of, and was EXCELLENT at taking candids that warmed our hearts. she made both me and my groom feel stunning, her shots were incredible. Also, she's super warm and sweet and helps calm you down on your big day! I truly couldn't ask for a better photographer-she made me one happy bride!!

Holly was great to work with. She was a referral from a friend and she was very responsive, friendly and flexible. I let her know my fiance was a bit camera shy and she gave some good tips on how to help. In preparing for our engagement shoot, Holly gave a fantastic recommendation on where to meet for our photos based on the style we wanted and she had a plan for the poses and how to help my fiance loosen up a bit. Working with Holly felt like hanging out with a long time friend. My fiance and I both felt really comfortable with her right when we met and she gave us good direction. At the end of the session, she scrolled through the camera roll to show us our photos and we picked our favorite poses so she could keep those ones in mind for editing. We got our photos really quickly and I am so happy with the results. I highly recommend Holly! My only regret is not being able to hire her for our actual wedding.

We hired Holly for our engagement pictures and also for our wedding. Our experience working with her was AMAZING and we highly recommend her. From the start she was very responsive, organized , and transparent. Holly took the time to get to know us as a couple and our expectations. My husband and I had never gotten professional photos taken before and weren't sure how we should pose or even the locations for the shoot. Holly took care of everything! She found a beautiful location and guided us through the best, most natural poses. At the end of it we felt comfortable and had such a fun time. This continued at our wedding as well! Holly is very knowledgable when it comes to lighting and background locations for pictures. She captured our ceremony beautifully and she was very discrete with taking pictures as to not disturb us or our guests. During our outdoor reception Holly kept an eye on the sunset and pulled my husband and I to take the dreamiest photos. She allowed us to have a moment to ourselves during the busy day, which was so special. We are so happy that we booked Holly!!

When planning our wedding, the #1 most important vendor choice to me was my photographer. I spent weeks looking for someone who both worked with my budget and whose work I could get excited about. I was so happy to find Holly! Not only is her work amazing (I received my sneak peak and the photos are just gorgeous), but she is so fun and was incredible to work with. She eased my fears leading up to the event and helped coordinate the timeline so that we can maximize her time along with her second shooter to capture all of the special moments from our day. She made us feel very comfortable and is such a sweet, fun-loving person with great energy. I can't wait to see the rest of our photos!

Where can I freaking start?! Holly was recommended by a friend, and I am beyond in love and obsessed with her!!!!! Honestly, she was my favorite part of my wedding. She is super busy with work and her personal life, but she will go above and beyond to make sure she gets to know you and understand what you are looking for. She is very professional but cool at the same time! Taking pictures and being the center of attention is super awkward for me, but Holly used her magic to direct me and insured me that I was doing great. She did two of my engagement photo shoots and my wedding, and each time the edits are done, my mind get blown away at how amazing they turned out. She do her best to make sure you get the previews ASAP. I met a lot of arrogant photographers, and Holly is not one. She do not judge you and will accommodate whatever your budget is. Like seriously, when I first came to her, my budget was half of what she charges, and after one phone call, she was so great I booked her for her full services. If you’re still looking a photographer, stop looking and book my girl! You will not be disappointed

Booking Holly was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We first met Holly in fall 2020 for our engagement photos. She is fun, friendly and enthusiastic. She made us feel so comfortable and the photos turned out beautiful. She took the time to get to know us as a couple to be able to get the exact photos we envisioned on our wedding day. We knew she would be great at our wedding but, wow did she blow us away. She was awesome with our bridal party, family and friends and is AMAZING with kids! So many people at the wedding commented about how great she was! We are so happy that the memories of our wedding are captured so beautifully. Finding and hiring holly was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my wedding!!! She works with you to create a vibe for all of your photos and creates and inspo board just for you! She helped me bring my vision to life with my engagement photos I literally cannot wait to see what she can do at my wedding! When the entire bridal party, and wedding guests keep bringing up how AMAZING your photographer is, I mean the answer is amazing isn’t even enough to explain her work ethic, her grit, structure and demeanor, but calm and go with the flow attitude. If you want someone to make you feel comfortable, and feeling relief that you know your photos and those small, special, beautiful moments will be captured, it’s cause you hired Holly as your photographer. Holly traveled over 1200 miles to make it to our wedding IN COVID19 and we are forever grateful. We cannot wait to work with Holly in the future for more special celebrations ❤️

This woman is EVERYTHING! Not only are her pictures flawless, she is a sweetheart. My original photo/videography cancelled on my TWO days before my wedding (George Street Photo). When Holly heard this, she put me at ease and promised she would show up to my Friday wedding. She worked all day and all night to capture spectacular photos. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her, and I wish I could give Holly a million star review!

My husband and I hired Holly for our wedding last September. She met with us about a month before the ceremony and asked us about what our vision was for our wedding day, and how we wanted that to be shown in the pictures she would take (she even asked about hues and tones pictures and if we wanted more vibrant or muted tones. I myself have a preference for this, so I really appreciated the fact that she wanted us to have a say in how our pictures turned out and studied what we actually wanted!) My husband and I had a very small ceremony in a local park- we had guests sit at picnic tables under an awning by a lake. The awning and tables were on a first come first serve basis- Holly volunteered to get the park earlier than everyone to help set up the tables and chairs for our guests. (something she didn't even have to do!😭) She makes your day feel so special with her inspiring vision, and positive personality, & attitude. She has a remarkable gift of being able to make your vision for your big day come through in all of her photos, and is one of the biggest reasons I believe our day was so special for us. My friends and family are still talking about how beautiful all of the pictures are (and there wasn't a single shot she sent me that I didn't love!😊) Holly is a wonderful, photographer 15/10 recommend ♥️🙏

She is committed to following your vision for the shoot and puts her professional spin on it to make it happen. Honestly, we could not have gotten luckier than we did when we booked Holly. When a worldwide pandemic throws your entire wedding into a blender, but the photographer steps up the way that Holly did, it just makes everything feel so much better. She will probably not want me to say this, but she pretty much became a makeshift, unexpected wedding planner for our day while also taking absolutely gorgeous photos all day. She really really saved us and also made our backyard family only covid wedding look like it was the wedding that we always dreamed of. Her work speaks for itself, but I’m here to tell you that the person you are getting is truly amazing. She was the best decision we made in the entire process. THANK YOU FOREVER HOLLY!

Her pictures are not only stunning, but she gives a fast preview of pictures and is personable making her great to work with.
