If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. I got married in June 2022 and to this day, I haven’t received my album. It took almost a year of reaching out to get the hard drive. I can’t even put into words how angry I am at their customer service, crappy photos, no album, late return of engagement photos needed for the invitations. For our engagement shoot, Robert arrived late and kept asking my husband to help him carry his AND set up his gear. We told him we needed our photos asap since they’d be used for the invitations and that took weeks to get back. At that point I wanted to fire them and get our money back. Robert reassured us it wouldn’t happen again but of course it happened again. Unfortunately in the midst of wedding planning, we didn’t think we could find anyone else on such short notice. Additionally, my husband and I were very clear we wanted to end photos early to enjoy our guests, they didn’t leave us be until an hour before the reception was over. We paid the $5k package which is supposed to include video, drone footage, pictures and album. We only got a 6 minute video, no drone footage and halfassed edited pictures on the hard drive. When I reached out to Robert, he made an excuse that the date of return was left blank in light of being behind because of Covid weddings, he blamed Anna for being sensitive because so many brides were “attacking” her because she was so behind. I asked if we could get a specific album since we didn’t like the acrylic one that was included in the package to which Robert said yes but then disappeared. We hired them because they did such a good job with my brother in law and he got his pictures within months considering he got married right before Covid. I absolutely hate these people. We missed celebrating with our loved ones because of the promise of having all these great memories but no, we’re stuck knowing we missed out on seeing loved ones and essentially getting robbed because the service they provided is not at all worth the 5k. If they had some tiny shred of dignity, they should pay back all the customers they’ve done dirty. I haven’t reached out again and honestly go back and forth debating if I should sue them.
My fiancé and I hired Robert and Anne for our wedding. Even though there were many more affordable options i convinced my wife to go with them because there is only one chance to get things right. I felt by going expensive it would guarantee great work and a great business experience. Boy was I wrong, we paid $5000 and were promised the world and have received silence in its place. We paid for drone footage which never happened, we were told we would be receiving a weddings trailer the same night and after back and forth pressure through emails we finally received the trailer 1 year later as a consolation price for waiting so long. Our wedding was in September 11th of 2021 and I have yet to receive anything but a mouthful from my wife for convincing her to got with Robert and Anne. To put it simple save your $$$ and go somewhere else because these people are so inconsiderate of anyone's feelings and could care less of the stress and emotional pain they are putting their paying clients through, and one more thing always get a turnaround period in writing. As for us our next step will be legal wish us luck in the hopes of one day being able to collect our beautiful memories.
I saw HPW’s work from a friend and I was very impressed by the quality of their photos and video, and the price they were offering was unbeatable, so I decided to hire them for my wedding on 10/15/21. It’s been 15 months and I still have not received my wedding photos, video, or album. I did, however, receive a preview of 30 edited photos 2 weeks after my wedding, which were BEAUTIFUL, so I thought they were already working on the rest of my photos, video, and wedding album. But fast forward to 15 months later, NOTHING. In the contract, it did say it will take more than 6 months to receive the final products, but it’s already been 15 months! How long does it really take to edit all those photos and videos? From the beginning, Robert kept saying he has a lot of people on his team, so it really shouldn’t take this long. I’ve called and emailed Ana and Robert many times but they just kept making excuses, then they would stop replying to my emails and text messages all together. Now I’m left in the dark and I don’t know if I will ever receive my wedding photos, video, and album. I’m so mad that I decided to go cheaper on the photo/videos for my wedding because now this happened. I feel like I’ve been scammed. if I could go back in time I would’ve just paid the extra thousand dollars for a top rated photographer/videographer. Right now, the only photos and videos I have of my wedding are the ones that I was tagged on, on Instagram. Beware, DO NOT hire HPW, you may never get your photos and videos. If I ever do get my final products, I will keep you updated.
I hope this place is OUT OF BUSINESS. If it’s not, it should be! Contracts mean NOTHING to them.
Hired Robert and Anna for our wedding on January 14, 2017. Fast forward to JULY.
None of our calls were answered. Messages never returned.
OCTOBER: My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. We left messages telling them this. It had been 10 MONTHS.
NOVEMBER 1: Fearing my dad would die before seeing the pics, my husband left a message that was finally returned! Anna promised to make our pics her #1 priority. (Priority? Umm, weren’t they done or close to done?) She promised to email the file by November 3 & mail the drive.
MY DAD PASSED AWAY ON NOVEMBER 4.
THE FILE WAS EMAILED 12 HOURS LATER.
My dad literally died waiting to see our wedding pictures, 11 months after the wedding.
No, we didn’t sue. It wouldn’t bring my dad back, so why bother?
The pics &video were barely edited, and what little work they did looked rushed and sloppy. I’m finally at the point where I can write this review and look for a photo editor.
Robert & Anna have to live with this knowledge.

I got married December 2018, Let me start off by saying he lost my engagement photos first of all. The sad part is that my husband wanted to take a picture with our cell phone to have right then and there and I told him no because I trusted that Robert would have our engagement pictures. Second I still haven’t received my album or my video (we are in 2020) I’ve called him several times I’ve emailed them several times and they do not respond The last time I had any communication with them was last year. I don’t understand if these people know the importance of such a big day apparently not obviously if they did they would be more careful and take care of the customers. I have referred him to a couple people that they have already booked them and I am so embarrassed that they can do the same thing to them. I will no longer be referring them. It took me a long time to write a review because I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt since they had a death in the family as well but apparently these people don’t care.
We booked Ana and Robert after meeting them at a wedding expo in Orange County during the spring of 2018. My husband and I were really impressed by their display and quality of their work. I did research into them before booking and everything looked good. A couple weeks before the wedding (March 2019), I went online and was horrified to see the reviews that had been posted since we booked — I freaked. But then I talked with Robert about the reviews and my concerns. Hearing his side of things was really helpful and calming. We went ahead with them as both our photographer and videographer, and I’m quite glad we did. They had a crew of 4 photographers (including Robert), and 2 videographers, and they did an amazing job. We got the 5 minute highlight video less than 2 days after the wedding, and over 300 edited photos within a week! They are all high quality and gorgeous. We’re still waiting for the final delivery of the remainder of our package, but we’re both thrilled with how things have gone so far.
I understand the reaction many will have upon reading some of these reviews, but I encourage you to talk with Robert and Ana before you make your decisions. I’m certainly glad we did.
Rip Off/Scam! Hired them in 2016 for our wedding, paid everything upfront for pictures and two wedding albums that came included. It’s now been two years and they still haven’t worked on anything. The only thing they’ve done is send us the raw photos. I’ve called countless times so they can edit the photos we’ve chosen but Robert always seems to have an excuse as to why they don’t answer (illness in family, out of country, at another wedding, death in family). I recently reached out to them again and of course I received an “automatic email” from them saying there was a death in the family and so they would be out of touch for awhile. They take on too much work than they can handle, please don’t hire them or you’ll be waiting like the rest of us.
We first met with Robert who was very nice even though he was 45 min to an hour late to our meeting due to LA traffic when we were coming from Corona. The examples they had were beautiful and breathtaking. We decided to hire them on as our photographer and videographer. Unfortunately, the work they did for us was horrible. During the Ceremony, they did not get any clips of anyone walking down the aisle from a frontal view. Only there backside which is a complete joke. They did not even get my wife coming down the aisle. Only her backside as well. The angle they had the camera the during the ceremony was being blocked by my priest and they did not notice. Also, the photographers kept walking into the shot even though it did not matter because my wife and I were not even being filmed. The video they made for us was a complete joke. Horrible transitions and it felt like whoever did the video editing did not know what they were doing. At times they slowed down the shots where it looked really choppy and not smooth. If you would like me to email you the video they did I will be more than happy to. I can also email you the video I did myself and you can tell me which one you like better. That is how confident I am in my work. I have never done video editing in my life and I feel I did a better job than these "professionals". They gave us all raw footage which was how I was able to create my own video. Don't get me wrong, I struggled major doing this due to such horrible videos being taken. I went through all this trouble to get a video done for my wife on our 1 year anniversary coming up so she at least has a video memory of that day. About a month after the wedding I emailed Anna to get an ETA on when we would be receiving everything. I got no response and for some reason, she was posting pics on Instagram. I took it upon myself to spam their Instagram page in which they finally responded to my email. I had seen people leave feedback on yelp stating they have not received anything and it was beyond a year. Also, I was fortunate that my wife just happens to know one of the photographers who had stated this is how it normally is and he does not work for them. They just contracted him to do this one event or a few, not entirely sure of specifics. The final video nearly took them 6 months to email us and we had to argue with Anna that the video they created was horrible. She refused to rework the video. My front teeth are fake and if you get close enough you can see black between my gums and my front teeth. She took it upon herself to put a clip that was right in my face while I was smiling. All you can see was the black part I described. I reached out to her letting her know how much of a joke I think this is and how embarrassing it is for me to show anyone in this video. Her response was, "I did not even notice". I am sorry but it is your job to notice things like this. It took about 7 months to receive the video and about 8 to 9 months to the picture album. The first draft of the picture album she sent us was horrible. We literally changed almost everything except 1 page. I have read on some reviews that people have not even received anything and it was longer than a year. According to Anna, she was dealing with a family emergency. I can understand that things come up but to completely ignore your customers and not hire a third party to take over since at the time you were incapable of handling it alone is really unprofessional.
My husband and I met Robert and Anna at the Bridal Expo in LA. They were both very nice and seemed to be very honest. We fell for the amazing sales pitch that all our photos will be edited and touched up to perfection. (When in reality Anna will only touch up a few pictures).
Moreover, my husband and I really wanted a PPT video to show during our reception. The one they show in the Expo is nothing to what she gives you to show at your wedding. All she gave us was a simple picture ppt with music. This is something and one can do on their own computer. So disappointing! :-/ honestly all they say is " too good to be true"! It took Anna over a year to provide us with our pictures and longer for our video. The final album she gave us had a big stamped in the back that read "STUDIO SAMPLE NOT FOR RESALE" and our video had no smooth transitions and she didn't even bother to cut her own crew talking in the background.
After they get the money it seems like they don't care much. Through it, all my husband and I were really patient and understanding but our entire experience was such a nightmare. Every time I look at my video I am saddened at how much we paid and the poor quality we received.
Please read the reviews and follow your gut before you book anybody in general. Honestly I wish I would have chosen someone else. I found them at the Bridal Expo done in LA and their work was breathtaking but it was honestly " too good to be true". It's going to be a year and I have not even received a preview of our pictures!! Anna has not responded to my emails for a few months now, Robert wont answer his texts. Yes the day of the shooting and before the wedding communication was perfect. After they get the money seems like they don't even bother. You will get lucky if you are one of the couples that receive their pictures immediately, seems like everyone else did complain about the communication and length of time they took to provide the pictures. I'm sorry for Anna going through personal problems but we all have problems and if she can't perform she shouldn't be shooting any more events for the moment. I was really patient and understanding but it's starting to seem like a nightmare, what if I don't get my pictures?? The knot should not be promoting them anymore. I researched too late and seems like they've had this problem for a few years now, look at the reviews in other platforms. Im very very disappointed and frustrated!
Very poor communication. After we signed up with them it was hard to reach them and after our wedding day which was over 3 months ago we have not received any response after multiple calls and emails. It really it disheartening and upsetting that at the very least they cannot even let us know what is happening. On the day of the wedding they were very professional but what is good is that if I never receive my pictures and video. At this point we would not recommend. Maybe after we receive the photos we will feel differently.
When i first met Anna and Robert they were amazing. I was so honored and happy to have found such amazing people to help with my special day, they responded right away and everything. The day of they made me feel comfortable and everything was so professional. I had a lot of compliments. A week later i received 200 photos to preview and they were so beautiful!! Unfortunately after that wedding i didn't hear anything. i told my husband i will not bug until after the holidays because i know that they are busy. So January came along and when i wrote them i didn't get a response until February. They informed me that i never sent my hard-drive. Which was my fault i agree, it was in the contract and everything. I sent one right away. What i don't understand is that why did it take for me to contact them for them to tell me. Needless to say i have been sending many messages to them and it takes weeks to a month for responses. I have now just celebrated my 1 year wedding anniversary and still no photos and wedding video. I am completely embarrassed in the fact that you put so much trust into someone you think would be a perfect fit and your whole family keeps asking where is the goods, etc, and you have to say i don't have them yet.. Don't get me wrong they were sweet and after the wedding i wanted to rave about everything from the first meet to the day of but i feel like this has become a nightmare sense then. The wedding excitement has passed and I'm just anxious to get my stuff and move on. I hope if you book this vendor to just beware or don't make the mistake i did of not being on top of everything and writing them every minute of the day.
I could not have asked for a better, more professional team to work with! Robert, Anna and their entire team were with my husband and I the entire day from start to finish. I saw a sneak peek at a few of our wedding day pictures and I am so happy with them. They captured every moment and every detail. The attention to detail that they had, made us feel as though we were their only clients. They love what they do, and it shows in every picture they captured. They are truly genuine people and cared as much about us as the pictures and videos they shot. They also took our engagement photos/videos and cared as much then as they did on our wedding day. Our package included our engagement pictures, the entire wedding day of photos and videos, a photo album, two parent albums, raw video of the wedding and an edited video of the wedding.
Hollywood Pro Weddings is by far the best company that we met and booked! You will not be disappointed if you hire them for your BIG day!
We loved the work that we received and are glad we have beautiful photos to cherish for years to come.
