We couldn’t be more grateful for Mackenzie’s help in making our wedding weekend so perfect! As soon as the wedding weekend hit, we didn’t have to think about anything for the whole weekend - we were able to completely trust that Mackenzie had everything handled, which enabled us to completely enjoy everything about the weekend. We think of Angela Menlove as our Angel! From the minute she started helping Kennedy and Luke plan the perfect wedding a year in advance, she was perfect! Detailed but supportive, sweet but all business, hard working but easy going like water off a ducks back. The wedding on 9/23/23 at Siempre was perfect but couldn’t have executed it without our Angel Wedding Planner. Thank you thank you 🙏
Mackenzie did an excellent job as our wedding planner. Very responsive, helped us choose all the decorations, followed up with all the vendors, and troubleshooted our hotel block which was amazing. If you're debating whether or not to get a wedding planner, I would definitely say go for it. Your sanity will thank you later.

We want to give the biggest shout out to Angela Menlove from us for doing the decorations of a lifetime at our wedding! She was phenomenal! We spent over six months reaching out to her and getting her help deciding colors, themes, and all of our ideas! We saw many fun ideas on Instagram and Tiktok and she was able to make them a reality while also giving us direction in pointing out what would work best! Let me tell you all about how amazing she was! She went out of her way to be available for calls! We called her almost every weekend and she was basically our wedding planner as well! She was always ready for us to bounce our ideas off her and proved so instrumental in our wedding! She coordinated every detail and was available to make sure our visions turned into reality. We visited the venue multiple times before the wedding with Angela. We had four events over a two day period and she coordinated decorations of all the events. She worked with her floral team to set different areas with flowers. She was patient with us especially when we were going back and forth on various ideas and incorporating multiple changes. She transformed the venue with amazing decor. Everyone was amazed with the decorations of our wedding and I quote, “funnest, best looking wedding we’ve ever been to” -a ton of guests. We’ll definitely be booking her if we ever have any other party throwing needs and highly recommend to anyone needing help decorating their wedding! People should just pull the trigger and get married because then they could hire Angela for the most memorable weddings of their lives!!! We are grateful for her expertise and knowledge. Photographers were able to capture every detail for our memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Thank you Angela! We love you :)

Although they say weddings go by fast, we really do remember and feel like we got to enjoy every moment of our wedding weekend. Undoubtedly, thanks to our vendors and coordinator Mackenzie at Hoopes. Focusing on reaffirming our union and spending time with our loved ones was truly unforgettable. A month-of coordinator was essential to being fully present on our wedding day. Looking back, I would have hired Hoopes earlier and had Mackenzie on our wedding project from the start. Questions I was mulling over for weeks, she resolved very quickly. Plus, we had Eastern European traditions that Mackenzie executed precisely.
Most importantly, she's just an all-around great human. Super kind, responsive, organized, and very genuine. 100% could not have achieved our vision without Mackenzie.
Mackenzie at Hoopes Events was great to work with up to the very end. She had knowledge of the venue and worked well with our chosen vendors to bring it all together. Highly recommend!
Mackenzie did a fantastic job for our wedding. It was a snap decision to bring her on as a month-of coordinator and we are so happy we did. She was attentive, organized and on the ball for our wedding. We even had a mishap (not her fault) during the day-of, where one of our guest buses broke down, and she did a great job resolving the issue. Highly recommend Hoopes!
Tonya Hoopes was the “Day Of” coordinator for my daughter’s destination wedding. She and her team were absolutely amazing. They were so organized, efficient, and wonderful to work with. With relatively little instructions, they jumped into action and executed a flawless wedding. There was some ongoing miscommunication among the venue staff, and Tonya, in a seemingly effortless way, was able to help them figure things out and made everything run just as planned. Because it was a destination wedding, we had to transport an enormous amount of things. Tonya directed the unpacking and set up for the wedding perfectly, and then expertly packed everything up to be taken home. The ceremony, happy hour, dinner, and dancing were all in different locations at the venue, and Tonya so smoothly coordinated all of the transitions and every single detail in between. Tonya has a keen sense of how to make things beautiful, and that really showed in the entire wedding. Having Tonya there and having confidence that she was in charge of everything allowed each of us to totally relax and enjoy the day. Not only were Tonya and her team highly competent, but they were just delightful people who exuded friendliness, a feeling of calmness, and an air of being confidently in charge. Tonya and her team made the day exactly what the couple wanted, and they couldn’t have been happier. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Tonya and her team were, and I give them my highest recommendation. We would hire them again in a heartbeat.
Tonya Hoopes of Hoopes Events is the best wedding coordinator you can possibly find. Whether it’s Tonya who provides the wedding coordination, or someone from Tonya’s team, you will without a doubt be in the best of hands and in the best of company. My husband and I hired Tonya in the months leading up to our wedding events — all of which occurred at Sundance Mountain Resort on 9/30/22 - 10/1/22 — and we’re so glad we did. We don’t know what we would have done without Tonya.
Tonya is a wealth of experience and knowledge, and she really helped us think through, plan and executive EVERYTHING. All of the details came together because of Tonya. Simply put, working with Angela was spectacular. We took it upon ourselves to arrange an out-of-town multicultural wedding in the mountains of Salt Lake City. Angela helped with everything big and small, call me through every find detail, and help me and my family keep our sanity during the whole process. We truly got to know her as a friend and are so grateful that she was involved with her special day. I promise, she will go above and beyond for you!
My partner and I were so lucky to work with Angela from Hoopes Events for our wedding :) Angela was incredible in every way. She was knowledgeable, organized, thorough, and a wonderfully warm and reassuring presence throughout the entire process. There were so many aspects of our event that could have made planning difficult (specifically that we’re a couple of stressed out procrastinators planning a Utah wedding while living in Brooklyn), but Angela made it as smooth and stress-free as we possibly could have hoped.
And more importantly, her expert planning and coordination helped make the wedding itself absolutely flawless! Her coordination with the venue and the vendors was masterful, and she was such a hit with the guests and ceremony participants that one of our friends tried to hire her for a sibling’s wedding on the spot :) The whole experience was so much better than we expected, and we honestly could not have done it without Angela. We can’t recommend her and Hoopes highly enough.

Mackenzie at Hoopes helped us put on 3 nights of events during our wedding weekend. It was a great collaborative effort, and the weekend was fantastic.
Mackenzie was organized and a good communicator, which was important, considering the numerous details we were dealing with for the weekend. She helped with our guest Welcome Bags, the logistics with all 3 events, various signage, ideas/suggestions along the way, some vendor coordination, guest communications, and attended to plenty of details/issues during the events.
Most of the guests ultimately knew who Mackenzie was, and she was a calming constant during a weekend full of people, details, and important moments. When we originally hired Hoopes, I really didn't know what to expect, but when the weekend was over, it was "beyond expectations" in my mind. I was impressed and appreciative of Mackenzie's level of care and commitment to making sure everything went well - and it really did. She really did a great job, and we can't thank her enough!
Choosing Hoopes events, and Angela in particular was easily the best choice of our wedding. I looked at ~50 different planners, spoke with 10, and had a final round interview with 4 of them, and Hoopes took the cake. But beyond the initial decision, Angela went above and beyond to take care of every need we had. Every step of the way, we had clarity on what mattered most, Angela tracked our progress, and she had a rolodex of previous experience to help us. She was so zero stress about managing every blip in the road and we actually became great friends along the way. And when we got to our wedding day, there was literally nothing we would have changed. She helped wrangle my giant family and made sure everything ran on track. She truly made our dreams come true!
If you are on the fence about getting a planner, get, and choose Hoopes! The entire process was incredibly smooth and our wedding was so stress-free and wonderful. We love you, Angela!
Tonya and her group were incredible. I hired her three months before the wedding because the event planner with our venue was creating more stress than help. Tonya did the "month-of" service for us and helped with design of the venue. She went to event rental places with us and helped us bargain shop for some of the smaller details. Everything was perfect the day of and we were able to enjoy the day with our friends and family. She helped direct the venue on how we wanted our tables set up and even checked in to make sure everyone had their food. My husband accidentally stepped on my dress, breaking the bussle.. Tonya was my first panicked stop where they helped me fix it. She assisted with the rehearsal the day before (thank goodness) and stayed for the whole wedding helping to gather our personal belongings from the venue before she left.
I honestly do not think I would have had a good time if Tonya had not been there. Even our wedding party commented on how incredible she was.

We used Tonya Hoopes to help plan the wedding for our daughter. Our daughter’s wedding was Labor
Day Weekend at the Solitude Resort in Utah.
The wedding was a two-day affair with the first day being a “traditional” western ceremony and the
second being a Hindu-Indian ceremony. Both ceremonies had receptions associated with them and after
parties. One family lived in New Hampshire, one in Georgia and the Bride/Groom in New York. We
would respectfully suggest that the degree of difficulty for coordinating all elements for this wedding
was high.
Tonya was easy to work with, flexible when it came to scheduling meetings and accommodating on
reschedules. She was a wealth of information on a variety of topics. She was outstanding in helping
negotiate issues with the Solitude resort staff.
Tonya displayed a very capable eye for design. From the invitations, to the table settings Tonya helped
create a vision for the wedding “brand” without much assistance or direction. She willingly incorporated
suggestions to pile on the core brand from both sides. We were grateful to her for this overall vision.
Wedding weekend was especially challenging with two different outdoor sites for the ceremonies (one
up the mountain) and then an outdoor reception tent that had two different themes. Tonya’s team of
employees capably made sure items were where they should have been when required. We can’t
understate how complicated this element was with both families dreaming up all sorts of details to
make the events of the weekend memorable for everyone.
Finally, a word on fees. Simply put, Tonya’s fees for services were fair.

I had the privilege of working with Angela Menlove from Hoopes Events for my wedding and I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience with her. We had a long engagement (almost 2 years) and Angela was my rock through every step of the process. From our first call I knew that she was going to help create an incredible wedding, but it far exceeded any of my expectations. She took all of the stress off the entire planning process, gave me real and honest feedback, advice, and support along the way. One of my favorite things about working with Angela is that she really took the time to get to know us and what our vision was so that in every check in or vendor meeting we were aligned and felt comfortable making decisions whether they were big or small. On our wedding day Angela made everything run so smoothly and flawlessly that I had so many guests come up and tell me how wonderful she was! I genuinely could not have planned or executed my wedding without her and I hope that every bride (and couple) can experience a wedding planning process as seamless, stress free, and fun as we had!
The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Hoopes events to help us coordinate. We worked with Angela, and she is an absolute dream. She felt like our true partner in the planning process, and really listened to what we wanted. I never felt like she was trying to push something on us that didn't match what we were going for. She was on top of all of our logistics, pushed vendors for answers when we needed them, and was overall just really pleasant to work with. We never would have been able to plan out Park City wedding without her, especially given we were flying in from out of town. Thank you Hoopes Events and Angela!!
We used Angela for ALL our wedding planning, not just day of, and I will say it was the best money spent on the entire wedding. I can honestly say I was not stressed with the wedding process at all and she took care of everything.
I even threw a last minute taco truck at her to find for the day after the wedding a month before and she made it happen!

From meeting us at our venue to discuss details months in advance to keeping our big day running smoothly, she is extremely knowledgeable, organized, and detail-oriented. The best thing about Angela is that she makes it all about YOU. She always has you and your partner's wants and dreams at the forefront of every decision. We hired Hoopes and Angela to help us plan our 200 person destination wedding weekend in Park City, Utah. Angela was outstanding to work with! One of the reasons we selected Hoopes out of all of planners in the area is because of their prompt communication, pricing, and willingness to work with me on my creative vision. They had a great roster of vendors that they had worked with in the past and worked well with the vendors that we brought in from out of town. We can't recommend Hoopes and Angela enough!!
We hired Hoopes for our wedding in June 2021 and it was the best decision we made! We were not based in Utah and both have busy jobs where it can be hard to coordinate for a large event. Tonya suggested wonderful vendors that were great to work with. I was AMAZED how beautiful and well done our wedding was. I cannot thank the team and Hoopes and the vendors they suggested enough.
My daughter was in the Park City area and I was not, having the capable hands @ Hoopes was truly the best decision we possiblly had. I credit my daughter to using a planner but her choice to go with Hoopes was far and above what I ever had hoped for. They care and the professionalism and followthrough was steadfast.

We had such a fabulous experience working with Tonya. My daughter was supposed to have a destination wedding and because of Covid we weren’t able to go to the destination she was planning on. We had to scramble and throw a plan B together, which normally would be super stressful, but Tonya took the reigns and created a dream wedding dinner at our cabin and a reception days later in our yard. It was absolutely magical and Tonya took care of every little detail. My daughter and her husband were thrilled with the outcome. I would highly recommend Hoops for planning you event. Tanya is so easy to work with, and she makes sure that everything is done exactly the way you want.
Angela Menlove with Hoopes Events, was our DREAM Wedding Coordinator. As many COVID brides know, this year came with several stresses, changes and challenges. Angela not only helped relieve those stresses for me (the bride), my groom and our families, but executed the most incredible wedding a bride could ever dream of. Planning a destination wedding, long distance, at an outdoor venue, during a pandemic could have been a little stressful. But thanks to Angela Menlove from Hoopes Events, we did not have to worry about anything. We met Angela back in August when we flew to Utah for wedding planning. After our first meeting, we knew that we were in good hands. Her personality, smile, attention to detail, knowledge of vendors, take charge attitude and calming demeanor told us within 2-minutes that she was the planner we wanted (and needed) for our daughter's wedding. Angela took care of EVERYTHING! Wedding weekend events went off without a hitch. From the Friday rehearsal to the "day of" activities, Angela took care of it all. There is no challenge that she could not solve. We loved her so much that our intention is to fly her to Florida when our third daughter gets married. Thank you Angela for making K & S's wedding day PERFECT!
Working with Hoopes Events was a great experience. Tonya and Stephanie took great care of us, answered all questions and were easy to work with. Our wedding venue changed at the last minute and Tonya and Stephanie provided the perfect wedding. Everything from start to finish was well organized and the wedding was absolutely beautiful. We planned our wedding from out of state and hiring Hoopes was the best decision we made! All our vendors were recommended by Hoopes and we were happy with all of them. When we first contacted Hoopes we worked with Angela, who made something that was starting to feel more stressful than fun start to feel like we really could plan a perfect day. We signed up for the “month of” planning package which worked out great—Hoopes was available to answer our questions before the month of, and the month of the wedding they handled everything. Our coordinator was Tonya, who was beyond amazing. Anytime we were feeling stressed talking to her would calm all our worries! When unforeseen last-minute issues popped up, she handled them seamlessly. Our wedding was better than we ever imagined, and it couldn’t have happened without Hoopes. Cannot recommend them highly enough!
I highly recommend Tonya Hoopes and Hoopes Events. They are Fantastic!! Our venue (ski lodge mid-mountain) was tricky and we had limited time to set up and decorate, but Tonya and her team handled it with ease! From start to finish, it was a pleasure to work with this group. They promptly returned phone calls and emails. Tonya was conscious of our budget and willing to make adjustments along the way. Tonya also has valuable relationships with local vendors, such as a calligrapher and videographer. With Tonya overseeing all of the details of the ceremony, dinner, and reception, I was able to visit with our guests. Tonya and her assistants helped ensure that my daughter and her husband had a wonderful wedding. Hiring Hoopes Events was a very wise decision!
Tonya and her team are absolutely amazing! I shopped around for a wedding planner, and Tonya was by far the most responsive and organized. She is very creative and has excellent vision. Weddings never go as planned, so you really need someone like her to have all of your bases covered. She is also well-connected, so many of our services (calligraphy, lighting, flowers) were handled under her umbrella which was nice. I will not think twice about using Hoopes Events again in the future if I ever have another large event!
From the first meeting with had with Angela, we knew we had nothing to worry about. We could tell she had the personality where she was going to be ON IT and she was! We live in Denver and got married in Park City, so we had a few in person meetings and the rest were over the phone and everything will went so smoothly! Angela was always available to talk and so responsive with her emails. My parents are both in their late 70s so I was really concerned with how they would do in the altitude. Angela gave me recommendations for oxygen and helped us out with getting wheelchairs coordinated. My parents were so grateful. I received a lot of comments from friends and family on how great Angela was and how on top of everything she was and I said...I KNOW! She was a rockstar and I know our day went off flawlessly because of her :)
We found Tonya very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. But where she really shined was the day of the wedding when weather necessitated a change of venue. Despite not being able to start setting up the new venue until 2 hours before the wedding guests arrival, everything was just as beautiful as had originally been planned. She was a miracle worker and kept us all calm.
Hoopes Events quite simply blew us away in regards to our Indian/Christian Fusion wedding this September. About 12 weeks out from our wedding we found ourselves having to hire a brand new wedding planner and basically start from scratch on the entire process. I contacted Tonya based on some online reviews and she replied immediately to set up an initial call and start our process. Tonya very quickly adapted to our vision and design and executed it flawlessly even in the short time that we worked together on our event. Our event consisted of 4 different pieces over the course of 24 hours and the execution of each one was everything we were hoping for for our wedding weekend.
Our wedding planning included a large family with multiple opinions and several points of contact. While we thought that this may pose a challenge to any potential planner, Tonya and team took it in stride and made it a point to keep everyone apprised of any developments or information. Emails and phone calls were answered within 24 hours maximum (more often even less time) and the entire team was beyond patient with us; able to easily schedule calls around everyone’s business (even at the last minute). We truly felt like the entire time we were working with them that we were their only client (even though that was hardly true); the level of dedication given to us was unbelievable.
One thing we were worried about with any planner was the ability to throw a great event while sticking to our budget, but Hoopes Events worked very hard to make sure everything that we wanted was available to us at a price that we were comfortable with. Tonya and team did an outstanding job sticking to our vision and getting us everything we wanted within the initial budget that we had laid out. They were honest and transparent about pricing, gave us excellent advice, and advocated for us when we needed their help.
Overall, Hoopes Events staff are excellent listeners, great communicators, and will make sure that no detail goes forgotten. Both Hoopes Events and their partner Fleur and Stems made our event beyond perfect in very little time and made it seem easy.
My family and I worked with Angela Menlove for partial wedding planning and I could not recommend her (and Hoopes) more! Angela was fantastic in the planning and coordination leading up to the wedding, and we had our dream wedding because of her efforts. She was a life saver in negotiations, vendor selection, and coordination for all contracts and timeline of our wedding. Angela is a super nice and very easy to work with. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a stress free wedding experience!
Hoopes was phenomenal in both the planning and—even more so—in the execution of our backyard wedding. They made quick adjustments for weather, created a gorgeous outdoor space using all aspects of our yard, and made sure the guests were well cared for and had a great time. I’d highly recommend them for any wedding!
We are so happy with the Hoopes Event team for making our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding beautiful and flawless! Stephanie was so helpful with the decor and making sure the Empire Lodge was transformed from rustic to elegant! Everything from the tables, draping , flowers and lighting looked first class. Leez was our “day of” coordinator and made sure everything ran smoothly . She went the extra mile with everything from extra corsage pins to making sure the best man spoke at the right time. Everything ran so smoothly on the wedding day because Leez had a timeline we could follow that kept us on track but allowed plenty of time for fun and lots of photos! The bride and groom were really able to enjoy their wedding day because Hoopes did such a great job planning and coordinating everything which put them at ease. They were thoughtful professionals and I highly recommend them!!!

We used Hoopes for all of our decor and floral, Stephanie did a fantastic job of making my vision a reality. She listened to every detail I wanted and definitely went above and beyond getting the decor and floral exactly how I wanted. The quality on everything was extremely nice and our event looked classy and very polished.
Leez was our planner and outdid herself as well! Leading up to the wedding she took care of things I didn't even know we needed to worry about. Thanks to her running the show I was unbelievably relaxed the day off and able to completely enjoy myself! The timeline Leez put together for the day of the wedding was seamless and she made sure everything was executed to perfection.
Looking back at the wedding we still can't believe how perfect the entire thing was, we owe all of the credit to Hoopes!

She already planned my sister in-law’s wedding and did such a wonderful job that when we began our planning process for our destination wedding at Solitude Mountain, we knew Tonya would be a central part of it. She is the perfect combination of organized and flexible. She recognizes that weddings need certain elements to run effectively, but there are a lot of things that can be tailored to create a mood or theme that is unique to the couple she is helping. She is also an outstanding problem solver. In many cases, she fixed things that we did not even realize went wrong until long after the wedding. She also has a support team that is organized and make you feel like there are 2 or 3 Tonya's on your big day! Tonya was also crucial to planning the full wedding weekend- from organizing transportation for the golf tournament, to a fun Friday welcome BBQ, to the actual day itself. Tonya was helpful and engaged at all the right moments during our planning. And was especially crucial in the weeks leading up to the weekend and the day of. If you want a professional who cares about your wedding as much as you do, Tonya is your planner.
Tonya was awesome! I was planning my daughter’s wedding in Utah from another state. She was quick to respond, stayed within budget, has impeccable taste, is very detail oriented, and made the whole process seem effortless! Almost every girl dreams about her wedding, but I think very few of us actually understand weddings. By the time Hoopes sent Leez to me (approx 1 month prior to the event), I thought I had just about everything figured out. Thank goodness for Leez and her expertise. I had NO IDEA how much more I still had to figure out, and she was instrumental in helping me determine what I still needed to figure out. She created a timeline, which she reviewed with myself and all of the vendors regularly to ensure we were all on the same page. She made suggestions to any fuzzy/empty areas I had not completely committed to yet. She posed questions to things I didn't even realize I needed to consider. I can't express enough how grateful I am to have had Leez as my wedding coordinator. She even kept an eye on us throughout the night to ensure we ate and drank plenty of water. I can't even imagine how many things she did behind the scenes that I didn't get a chance to thank her for. Leez truly made everything possible, and we are so grateful to have had her. She is so experienced, knowledgeable, professional, thoughtful, helpful, stop me when I've used enough amazing adjectives. She was awesome!
Angela Menlove at Hoopes helped my (now) husband and I plan our destination wedding in Salt Lake City a few weeks ago. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Angela and couldn’t have possibly had a better experience. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful, and because Angela was so organized and on top of everything, we got to truly enjoy and be present for the day. From the beginning, Angela was a complete joy to work with. She’s lovely, friendly, and was always completely on top of every single detail. She never dropped a single ball, and made sure our many vendors didn’t either. Because we live out of town and are very busy with our jobs, we made only two trips to Salt Lake in advance of our wedding (and only had two total days of planning on the ground there). She gave us excellent vendor referrals. Coming from out of town, we had no idea where to start and couldn’t take the time to meet most of our vendors so we were a little nervous, but everyone we hired on her recommendation was excellent. She also provided a lot of knowledge and expertise when it came to rentals, and really helped us stay in our budget by giving us options and suggestions at different price points. We had a pretty unique hybrid Hind-western ceremony. Angela was familiar enough with the Hindu wedding traditions and local Hindu priest to provide helpful advice on that front as well. Finally, I’d like to add that we shopped around for wedding planners and Hoopes offered very competitive pricing.
Hoopes was amazing. Angela helped us make our big day spectacular. We waiting a little late in the game to get to the planning and even though that was case she helped us get everything off without a hitch. We had lots of special requests, from elaborate decor, to games to a Harry Potter themed candy bar and Angela made sure to help us make everything go smoothly. She was great at making sure we covered things we wouldn't have otherwise thought of so that there weren't any surprised. People are still coming up to us, months and months later talking about how beautiful everything was and how cool the decor was. Angela played a huge role in that! We are so happy we had her help and would absolutely recommend her and Hoopes to anyone who needs wedding (or other event) help.
I was really nervous with how the day of the wedding would turn out, but Tonya did a really great job with making sure everything came together smoothly! I admit, I was definitely a bit of a bridezilla on the day of the wedding, but Tonya was very understanding, and made sure I did not have to deal with any stress. Although we only worked with Tonya as a Month of Coordinator, she was also very helpful with vendor recommendations, which all of them turned out to be amazing. I would really recommend working with Tonya, as she is very knowledgeable and responsive, and helped to make our wedding day everything we ever dreamed of!
I’ll start by saying that Tonya and her team are definitely knowledgeable about weddings and vendor recommendations. The wedding ended up wonderfully; however, during the planning and communication process, I was very stressed. There were long periods of time where I didn’t hear anything from Tonya, many times forcing me to initiate check-ins. There were a many little things that added up, and it mainly came down to difficulty in communication. For example, their company arranged our welcome bags, but my now-husband and I spent a lot of time the day before our wedding fixing many mishaps with the bags. Half of the bag contents were ready, half weren’t; and some guests didn’t even receive their bags. I had to hand out the rest after rehearsal dinner. I feel that, as a bride, a wedding planner should lower your stress level and handle all of the details that would make your day harder if you had to do on your own. Overall, I don’t feel like the cost I paid for the services outweighed the stress and mishaps that happened along the way.
We planned a destination wedding in Park City with the amazing help from Hoopes Events. From the first phone call, we were impressed by the professionalism, friendliness and enthusiasm of each person at Hoopes. We were paired with Angela and we couldn’t have been luckier. She was attentive and responsive to every concern or question we had during the process. Angela accompanied us on our site visit and met with our vendors which we greatly appreciated because she took the time to really understand our “vision” and what mattered the most to us. We used several rental pieces from Hoopes including chairs, linens, and vases which looked great and were well priced. The week of the wedding was enjoyable as we were confident that our wedding planner was working with all of our vendors and setting everything in motion. The day of the wedding ran perfectly as Angela created a perfect timeline for our needs and took care of everything so that we were able to enjoy the day without stress. I cannot fully express how much we loved Hoopes Events, we would highly recommend their services. Angela was the best wedding planner. Angela’s kindness, efficiency, and compassion helped make our wedding a dream come true.

Hoopes Events has taken care of us and create the a wonderful atmosphere with their Decor Ideas and staff. Truly professional staff. They provided all costs at front and had no hiding additional fees. I would recommend them for any type of event. They take the time to formulate my ideas into the complete lovely decor. I worked with Hoopes events for my September wedding at Park city Mountain resort. I booked them for “month of” wedding planning service and I am SO HAPPY I did! Even before the month of my wedding they offered vendor suggestions which were crucial to my out of town planning. Practically every vendor for my wedding was a result of their suggestion and ALL OF THEM were fantastic! Angela is the girl you NEED for your wedding day! She made me feel taken care of, eased all of my concerns and was VERY detail oriented! EVERYTHING from my rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, reception, and exit were PERFECTION because of this team. We worked with Angela for month of coordination and had a fantastic experience. Having been a part of several weddings before, making sure that details of decorating, timing, vendor management, and clean up was not left with my family was of huge importance. Angela and the team did a great job executing the vision I had for the day! Hoopes was great with communicating and setting expectations as well as following up on details I hadn’t gotten to yet. On the week and day of, as last minute items came up, she did a great job letting me text and call about anything, and essentially took all the stress away that I was expecting to have. I worked with Angela for our wedding at Deer Valley this Feb and she was such a pleasure to work with! She managed working with our vendors easily, the venue looked beautiful the day of, and most importantly she was a calming presence throughout the experience which is what you need in a coordinator. Everything went super smoothly and I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
I absolutely do not know where to begin. If I could award more than 5 stars I would. The moment my daughter and I met with Angela for the first time I knew we had made the right choice. Planning a wedding on a short time frame is difficult enough but doing it from across the country multiplies the difficulty. My daughter and I had initiated the planning process on our own and had several items on the check list completed. Angela was willing to help with any aspect of what remained and on any level. Angela was efficient, organized, responsive, super creative and so accommodating when things were seemingly crazy...she personally dropped off my daughters bridal bouquet for her bridal shoot.
Our luncheon and reception were especially challenging as we had individually themed items on every table... personalized with the bride and groom's courtship timeline as well as items showcasing their personalities and areas of interest. Angela made sure she understood our vision and she kept all parties on track from the caterer, venue contact, baker and florist to name a few. Everyone involved had a clear picture and understanding of what was expected of them. She made sure the final execution of all activities on the wedding day were flawless.
Angela's professionalism and "can do...nothing is impossible attitude" matched with her calm resolve made the entire process one that we can look back on with fond memories. The only upsetting part is that now the wedding is over I will not be working with Angela. She is a special person that truly cares about her clients. Thank you Angela for being a part of such a special day and for being the reason it was so perfect!
Angela was the reason my mom didn't have a meltdown from the moment we walked into Hoopes all through my wedding! She was extremely helpful and got straight on board with our ideas, no matter how unique the requests. I was averse to hiring a wedding planner at first, but I can't stress enough how grateful I am we had Angela to help us make our ideas a reality. The wedding was the best day my husband and I could have asked for, and the bridesmaids/groomsmen were amazed at how little they had to do to help. Angela took care of just about everything. :)
We live in St. George and I had some trouble finding a wedding planner (there seems to only be one in town who was booked that day, six months in advance!) I was worried about what to do and found Hoopes Weddings on line. I am so glad I found them!!! They are absolutely awesome to work with!! They have all the rentals that you would ever need and they are very willing to bring them to St. George. We rented a gorgeous wooden arch for the ceremony and 130 white padded chairs. They also have beautiful wood chairs and farm tables, among other things. My daughter and I lined up all the vendors in advance and had a rough outline of how we wanted things to happen. Then I worked with Angela, who took over all the planning the month prior to the wedding. She was amazing! She took all of the stress off of me because she followed up with everyone and made sure they knew exactly what to do and what time to arrive. She also created a timeline for the day of the wedding and kept everything on schedule. If I had any concern all I had to do was tell her and she would handle it. I was so glad to have her advice and knowledge as this was my first daughter to get married. I was able to come to the wedding and just be a guest. I didn't have to worry about a thing! Angela is so friendly and fun to work with. She literally made the whole event so enjoyable for me. If you are wondering if having a wedding planner is really necessary, believe me, it is worth every penny!!! I will do it the same way when my other daughter gets married. And I would definitely recommend Hoopes Weddings to anyone and especially Angela!! They are seriously the best!! Thank you so much Angela!!

Thank you for such a wonderful day. I'm not sure how we would have done this all on our own. If you are wondering if you should hire a wedding planner, just go for it! The planning is already so stressful especially the day of. Having a planner to advise what vendors to use, book them and schedule meetings relieves so much stress. If you are still unsure at least book a wedding planner for the day of your wedding. It was so nice to not have to worry about everything on the big day. There's already so many other things you have to worry about! Hoopes did a wonderful job and our wedding was beautiful. Not only did it go off without a hitch we now have expert vendors for future parties. Thanks so much!!
From our first phone call with Tonya to the wrap-up conversations after the event, our entire experience with Hoopes Weddings was fantastic. Our daughter had mentally planned her wedding for years, so began the planning with lists of ideas and desires. Tonya and her team listened and advised so that the end result was everything she had envisioned! Tonya helped monitor costs and repeatedly found ways to get us what we wanted for less than our first options came in at. Her can-do attitude and calm demeanor helped us all enjoy the entire wedding weekend! We highly recommend Hoopes Weddings!!
I worked with Jamie with Hoopes Weddings and she was absolutely incredible. She coordinated every detail of the day perfectly, and made everything flow seamlessly. All the normal stress of the wedding day was gone!
Mediocre service. I was planning to keep my poor experience to myself; however, it recently came to my attention that my photos are being used on this website, without my knowledge or permission, and that makes me very angry. I recently had my two year wedding anniversary, but I still fume to myself about my experience with Tonya when I think about my wedding day.
Invitations: they forgot to include the return stamps in the invitations, which is just sloppy.
Bartending: we went with her recommendation for bartending service, and that was a huge mistake. The lines were SO long. The "bartenders" were practically children, who did not know how to use a keg, people were waiting forever in line to get a cup full of foam. They piled trash next to the drink stands.
Water: there was none! It was 105 degrees and there wasn't water accessible for people to drink. This is an example of the reason you hire a wedding planner, so you don't have to think about these things.
Wedding favors: we paid money for macaroon party favors for the guests, and when I went inside at the end of the night, they were just sitting on a table in the kitchen. Was I supposed to put them out?
Your experience may be different than mine, but my impression was that Tonya was in way over her head.
Tonya's team did the decor at my venues. She did exactly what I wanted at a great price! She also helped me find a new caterer for my reception with only 2 weeks left! Tonya will work with you to fit your budget but still deliver great quality. So glad I found Tonya.
Hoopes Events is awesome! I highly recommend it. I was extremely stressed about planning my reception and decorations before my friend recommended Hoopes to me. After going I felt a lot better!
I had a few consults with Hayley, who is one of their planners! She helped me expand upon the idea I had for my wedding theme. She had tons of good ideas, and a vision of how to make it the perfect evening! Every other place I saw, I would have to use several different vendors to get what I need, but Hoopes has everything you could think of for decorations!
The price can't be beat. It is the best value for your money for sure!
I was not disappointed with anything. They completely transformed the building we had our reception in, it was absolutely beautiful. We got so many compliments. Not to mention, all of the staff was very friendly.
Also, they have tons of good recommendations for services/vendors that they don't already cover in house!

It ended up turning out beautifully in our backyard. Just beware to make sure, if you get one of the packages they tell you initially there's no charge for any changes, then when we wanted to take some things off we wouldn't need, Timber sent an email saying it would raise the prices of the other rental items on the package. That was NEVER said nor is it in the contract. I could have definitely done without that stress. In the end I don't think they charged us additionally for the other package items, and like I said, it turned out beautifully.
Hayley Aiono was an absolute joy to work with. She was very attentive and helped bring my vision to life. My wedding was a dream come true! If you are looking for a team that will lessen the stress of wedding planning, decorating etc. Hoopes has it all. Hayley even connected me with a florist who also did an amazing job with my flowers. Thank you Hayley and Hoopes team, my wedding was such a beautiful and special event that will never forget!
Hayley is INCREDIBLY talented. Her best skill is her attention to detail - she thinks of everything, even making sure the napkins and straws match. I loved Hayley's work because I didn't have to worry about the little stuff, she had it already covered.
We couldn't have done it without Hoopes! I was feeling overwhelmed and stressed about all of the luncheon preparations, but as soon as I got in contact with Hayley, all of my stress melted away. Tonya Hoopes and her team were the best planning team we could have asked for. We had an Indian wedding and they not only made us feel extremely comfortable with the entire process but also went above and beyond in order to help find Indian wedding-specific things that we would never have found otherwise and invested a lot of time and effort into making sure all of our vendors knew about the unique details that come with an Indian wedding. They were very responsive and made all of our ideas become a reality. The events were executed so perfectly that I did not have to worry about anything during the entire process and we were actually able to enjoy the whole wedding. Their professionalism is unmatched and they bent over backwards to help us stay within our budget. I cannot say enough good things about Hoopes Events and would recommend them without a doubt to anyone who is in need of a wedding planner.

I can not say enough good about Hoopes Events and Jamie! My daughter was married in Logan and I was trying to help plan from across the country! Jamie helped with everything! Her positive, upbeat nature made it so easy to work with her and she always got things done quickly and professionally. When we ran into a few set backs with the facility we were using to hold the reception, she was able to take charge and get things right. She was fun to work with and knows her stuff! It is such a HUGE benefit to work with a company that has a large warehouse full of their own decorations, tables, chairs, etc, etc!!! Definitely more affordable than renting out from several different places and a lot more convenient! I highly recommend Hoopes Events and Jamie for any wedding or partying events!
Could not give them a better review, though I do feel five stars isn't nearly enough. From start to finish they handled everything with professionalism and care. They treated me with respect, kindness, and a great deal of friendship. The process could have been insane, but they handled literally every aspect that I asked them to, and some I didn't even think about! They found me incredible vendors who were all well within my budget, and they made sure everything was organized and ran smoothly. There were no hiccups with planning or the wedding (at least, not that I was every aware of!). They were there the whole day to make sure everything was going as planned, and took care of me and my needs, too. I never once got stressed or overwhelmed by the process of planning or at my wedding thanks to the amazing girls (and guys) at Hoopes. They are truly miracle workers, the fairy godmothers of the Wedding industry in my opinion, and there is no better group to work with for your wedding or really any event. With them you will not be disappointed, and they will make all your fairytale dreams come true. <3
Tonya Hoopes and Hoopes Events were AMAZING for our wedding. We immediately felt comfortable with Tonya and didn’t interview any other planners. We were a NYC based couple looking to plan a long-distance wedding in Park City, Utah. We planned multiple events over the course of 4 days and Tonya helped us through every step.
Tonya is extremely competent and good at her job. She immediately understood our vision and gently steered us in the right direction. One of the things we like best, is her understated nature and her strong network of professionals. Instead of trolling website for hours looking for the right vendors, Tonya gave us several suggestions for local vendors she trusts and works with, she facilitated the introductions and let us decide who we felt best with. Once the decision was made, Tonya followed up on all the contract and logistical matters. One of the best things I can say is that we barely spoke with our vendors after the initial calls, yet everything was perfect on our wedding day. I don’t know what went on behind the scenes, but it was magic.
Tonya and her team were present and extremely active the month-of, week-of and day-of. On the Thursday of our wedding weekend, there was a fire at the hotel where our 30+ rooms of guests were staying. By the time Tonya called us with the news, she had solved the problem. All our guests moved to a different hotel and the rest of the operation was seamless. I cannot stress enough, how amazing a ‘pivot’ like that is. It takes a real professional to solve a problem that big by 10:45am.
Our wedding was seamless, the timing was perfect and the ballroom was beautiful. She and her team are wonderful and we highly recommend Tonya Hoopes and Hoopes Events.

Events Planner, Hayley Aiono organized my Baby Shower and it really could not have been more delicate and pretty! The decor provided by the company was so beautiful and of a high quality. The attention to detail was remarkable. Hayley knew exactly how to appeal to my tastes and catered to them perfectly!
Hayley at Hoopes planned a Walk for the nonprofit I work for and it went flawlessly. She's a joy to work with and definitely rolls up her sleeves and gets 'er done. She's detailed and friendly and comes up with quick and creative trouble shooting. I also love her because she just handles things without worrying her client! I had total peace of mind throughout the whole planning experience. She's a catch. Highly recommend her.
