ho worked with us to ensure that our event went perfectly, and our sound tech who assisted us tirelessly throughout the evening. During the first two hours we had a “cocktail” type event with an open bar and food. The staff were wonderful and the buffet food was delicious. HopMonk was even able to accommodate a couple guests with severe food allergies by making them their own dishes. One of those guests said it was one of the best meals he’s ever had. We really enjoyed all the buffet food, especially the shrimp skewers. For the second half of our evening, the HopMonk staff converted the room from a cocktail space to a small auditorium for a seated show performed on the room’s built-in stage. They turned the room over very quickly (in 5-10 minutes), moving all the cocktail tables around and setting up 50+ chairs for event seating. They also provided us with our own sound tech who helped us manage all our audio / mic / setup needs throughout the entire show (which included keyboard, guitar, bass, cello, violin, and vocals), and provided us with a projector and screen to use. The entire time the staff continued to be attentive to our needs, pouring drinks at the private bar and keeping the buffet filled. The entire evening went as perfectly as we could’ve hoped, and we’re so grateful for Rachel, our sound tech, and the HopMonk crew for the amazing experience!!

One of the best parts of our experience with them is that the day before the wedding I was able to drop off all of our decorations along with a list of instructions and the staff set up all of our decorations for us the next day. They did it perfectly how I had imagined and when we walked in after our ceremony I was blown away. I can not say more nice things about this venue and the staff that made our special day happen.

ding for all guests. Throughout the planning process we worked with Kim, the special events manager. She guided us through all the necessary components of the evening and needless to say it turned out exactly the way we had imagined. We had ~130 guests that fit comfortably in the outdoor area, which was blocked off from the remainder of the indoor restaurant. Approximately two weeks before the event we chose the food (from a few menu options from HopMonk's caterer partner) and provided a guest count--Kim took care of the rest. For the three-hour event we hosted a delicious dinner buffet, an open bar, a live musician (hired by us), speeches, and a photo slide show. Kim made sure all of these pieces were accounted for and was physically present for most of the event. The ambience of HopMonk was perfect with the outdoor venue, warm summer night, stage for the guitarist, a lawn for the kids, and lights overhead. Most importantly, the staff made sure that the drinks were flowing for all the attendees throughout the night. It brings me to tears just thinking back to it! It gave us a more relaxed atmosphere to enjoy time with our guests and for that, we are forever grateful. I would HIGHLY recommend using this venue for your private event!

g, the server was amazing to watch - I couldn't handle the number of pints of Pliny the Elder (yep on draft here!) she kept bringing out - our out-of-towners couldn't get enough. Kim (the party girl) was our contact, and she was professional, fast, and genuinely a pleasure to work with. I would 1000% recommend them!
