Hops and Grains Mobile Bartending

Steve was amazing to work with. He helped us navigate how much alcohol would be needed for our wedding day along with drink suggestions! He was quick to respond throughout the entire process and was available when I needed to chat on the phone. His bartending team was perfectly paired and our wedding guests loved them. The signature cocktails were a hit and I will definitely recommend Steve and his team for anyone needing a mobile bar service. Thank you!

Steve was the best bartender and so much more. When we provided him with our guest count and our drinks of choice, he made us a shopping list! He accounted for everything – beer, wine, cocktails and mixers. Although he does already include and provide a ton of mixers and garnishes, he gave us an additional shopping list to be able to make our specialty cocktails. Everyone was raving about how delicious the drinks were! His hospitality and preparation are second to none. He has a lot of add-on options to choose from as well, but we stuck with the basics since that best suited our wedding-style. We would definitely book Steve again in the future if ever needed!

Let me start off by saying my wedding planning wasn’t very smooth. I had 3 different wedding venues. I originally met Steve through my first venue, Winter White Barn. Ever since then he has been nothing but a breath of fresh air. He is always there to communicate with any questions I have, he is honest and up front, he tries to do whatever he can to help me make my day the best. On the day of the wedding the bar was a hit. He provided me a list of everything I needed to get, how much to get and when to get it. He even broke down the calculations of how much alcohol we needed because math isn’t my strong suit. LOL I also was not sure what signature drinks we wanted and I gave him the type of alcohol we liked and he threw out suggestions and we tried them out and about and loved them! So we made them the signature. There was some complications with our champagne wall and the venue was requiring us to have someone stand by the wall and hand guests the champagne but Steve didn’t hesitate and provided me a bartender to do so. The bartenders were so friendly and kind on the day of the wedding. My wedding was on July 1st and it was very very hot but they pushed through and did the job. Overall, I would highly recommend this company. They will not let you down! I would definitely use them in the future for any bar needs!!

We had Steve come out to our wedding at Lorimar Vineyard and he went above and beyond! Amazing bartending service! Presentation of the mobile bartending trailer was gorgeous and eye catching! Steve was great from the start. We mainly spoke on the phone and via text, but we did have the opportunity to meet him prior to the event. He helped us determine the drinks we would have, how much alcohol was needed, mixers, and supplies. In a last minute change of plans his wife was our bartender at our wedding and everyone had a blast. She was fantastic! Everyone we spoke to had a great time as one of the best weddings they’ve been to! If you’re in question between who to use, Hops and Grains is the way to go! Their mobile trailer looks so cute and fit in with our venue scenery so well. We can’t wait to see the photos!

So many of my guests commented how fun he was and that he made great drinks. Finding the right vendors is not the easiest, but booking with Steve and Hops and Grains was definitely an easy decision! His bar is unique, stands out and created a buzz amongst our guests — I mean who expects a bar to be in a horse trailer?! Steve was extremely responsive to all my questions (and there were a lot), did all the shopping for us (which relieved so much stress from the families), offered suggestions when we weren’t sure the correct amounts to get, and was overall extremely fun and nice to communicate with! Steve the owner was so helpful in helping us plan how much to buy and he purchased The alcohol for us with a tiny fee, but that was so worth it! Steve was the best vendor of the night! My wife and I booked Steve for our wedding in Topanga, CA. He came, he served, he conquered. I couldn’t think of a better bartender we would want to have at our wedding. His communication while booking was clear and concise, as well as at the days leading up to wedding. Hands down THE BEST vendor we had on site! Steve was super down to earth and extremely helpful with providing us the information about drinks, as well as the best way to gather what we needed for him. We had both wine (from the winery) and pony kegs from BevMo. He recommended WHO we reach out, how much to get of each beer, and even put the leftovers in growlers after the night was through. He listened to all of our needs and was an absolute HIT at the wedding. If we could use Hops and Grains for another event we definitely would! Steve’s company is HIGHLY recommended. I wanted to have a special little touch to our wedding and Steven with Hops and Grains Mobile made this possible! We got married at the Blue Barn Lavender Farm in Temecula, and the trailer was so perfect/ fitting for what we needed! There were a few issues with our Venue’s extremely strict insurance requirements, and trailer accommodations, but Steven was so professional, helpful and flexible! This could have easily been a major problem, but he worked with me to make sure it was resolved prior to our big day. He made sure we knew exactly what to purchase in advance, and we ended up having the perfect amount of alcohol (besides the tequila… his freshly made margaritas on tap were a HUGE HIT for our signature drink, and we actually ran out of that within the first hour lol so my tip is to purchase twice the amount of tequila!!) thank you Steven for saving me (the bride) a few margaritas in the back so that I always had one handy! I couldn’t have asked for a more fun, and thoughtful bartending experience! My only regret was not getting a picture with these guys in the trailer for memories! To future couples: use this as a cute photo opp! Thanks a million Hops and Grains! I hope we get to use you guys again for another fun party!

Amazing! Hops and Grains was above and beyond my expectations. The horse trailer, signs, displays were all truly Beautiful and professionally displayed. Steve was very professional, friendly and responsive from the very start! His services covered everything we needed to help prepare for my wedding in the desert. Not only did he offer great advice, recommendations and suggestions—Steve purchased all the alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages so we didn’t have to run around and do it ourselves. There are not enough words to describe how much Steve and his team at Hops and Grains Mobile Bartending mean to us. Hiring Steve and his team will be your best decision yet. The team will enhance your special day or event because they are true professionals who won’t offer you service that’s anything short of amazing. There are lots of ins and outs to planning a wedding, especially during covid. Our wedding was cancelled twice. At a time where life was uncertain for us, our wedding, and small businesses, we were so fortunate and grateful to have Steve and his team by our side. They were so supportive with all of our reschedules, never allowing us to fret with the multiple date changes. Steve pledged he would be there for us until we could finally have our wedding and he never deviated from his word. Instead, he was extremely generous and constantly made upgrades to his service, to make a difficult situation a little brighter. These upgrades, including a mobile bar trailer, are absolutely awesome, and truly added to our overall experience. Outside of Covid-related issues, Steve went out of of his way time and time again to help us save time wherever we could, which is important when planning a wedding. Given our wedding venue was in Temecula and it was on his way home from work, he offered to pick up all of our alcohol for us at various times. He will also pick up wine and beer from BevMo, ice, garnishes, etc. as long as it’s in proximity to where he is and he is able to accommodate it at that time. This was especially meaningful and helpful to us because at the time my now husband and I were living apart. Steve and his team are especially easy to work with, making sure your vision is executed down to every detail. His top concern is your happiness and he is very easy going and flexible to work with. In addition, Steve and his team can create custom drink signs for your special day or event. It’s a nice keepsake at the end of the event to have in your home. We love ours and are so happy we have it. Hops and Grains also has things you can rent like an A-shaped shelf for a hydration station or for your welcome champagne. Steve has thought of it all! Further, we found that we got a lot more quality and details at a reasonable price by hiring Hops and Grains compared to if we had done our bartending through our caterer. We wanted our guests to have a memorable experience and that’s exactly what we got. Steve and his team let us take fun pictures with the bridal party in the trailer and we got to pretend like we were mixing drinks. We had a blast. Not to mention-Steve and his team know how to make excellent cocktails!! Hire Hops and Grains and I promise you won’t be disappointed. An added perk to hiring Steve is that his wife, Mallory, makes beautiful woodwork pieces among other items that are hand crafted. Check out all of the beautiful gifts she creates that you can buy for your wedding party. I purchased personalized, engraved hangers for myself and my bridesmaids. Steven was INCREDIBLE!!!! He exceeded our expectations. My husband and and his friends have this game they play on each other and he was great at continuing the game they do at the wedding. And as for the wedding party he knew who they were always made sure we had what we wanted never waited they always pulled us to the side and got our drinks first really gave us the VIP treatment. Steve also was wonderful in helping me before hand any questions I had he got back to me so quick with all the information and more. Steve was an excellent bartender! The mobile bar cart is adorable and not only does it make a great photo op but is I love how thoughtfully designed and crafted it is. He's so experienced and I had several compliments from guests about his services. He is deservedly on the preferred vendor list for my venue Lorimar. The one thing he excelled at was providing an accurate shopping list so as not to over/under buy supplies making sure you stay on budget. Would HIGHLY recommend his services for your wedding/event!

Where do I start... I'll use Hops & Grains for every event that I can. I first discovered Steven with Hops & Grains in 2018 while booking our company holiday party. He crafted a custom cocktail for the event, provided the ingredient list, created a cute bar menu with bar decor, provided mobile taps, was incredibly efficient and most importantly fun, friendly, and professional. He and his team are literally everything you could possibly want for your customized bar experience, I can't say enough good things! We just had our wedding in April, after a 2020 postponement. Needless to say Steven and his entire team did not disappoint. During our postponement he was a wealth of resources, providing recommendations for new venues, alternative wedding themes/ideas, just absolutely wonderful to work with. The wedding was MAGICAL! Everyone raved about the drinks, literally the first thing they said when we got to visit with guests was “oh my gosh these drinks are so good” not only were the beverages incredible, there was hardly ever a line, they got drinks poured guests served in record time which really helped keep the good vibes flowing. We had two bar stations, a pop up bar for cocktail hour and his gorgeous horse trailer bar for the reception, naturally a huge hit from a decor perspective. He and his entire staff are legit the kindest, funnest, most hard working vendors you will find. They’re the type of team that do not want you to worry about a single thing on your big day and always have a fresh drink in your hand. They’re also the type of team that you want to stay and hang out with after the party! Honestly, just a very very great team all around, like I said, we cannot say enough good things. In Dec. 2020 our company had a virtual holiday party. We wanted to do a virtual mixology for the event so naturally, Steven was our first and only call. This was a pretty complicated process as we had never hosted anything like this. He jumped right in with helping us by custom crafting a holiday drink for over 200 people, provided the shopping list that was tailored to our WFH needs (individual sized portions, using mason jars that doubled as a glass and a cocktail shaker, single portion honey sticks, sugar packets etc. mini alcohol etc.) Then, he jumped on a virtual call with our 200+ team, and led us through the history of Tequila, how to make the perfect margarita, and provided suggestions for switching up the drink for the seasons. It was honestly one of our best events and it could not have been done without Steven and Hops & Grains. Now that we are back in wedding planning mode, with everything having to be flexible, our venue being on the fence about allowing the event, I'm not kidding when I say that we are basing our adjusted wedding plans on being able to keep Hops & Grains on our vendor list. They are hands down the best team I've had the pleasure of working with.

Hops and Grains was recommended to us by our Temecula wedding venue. We had an excellent experience with Steve from the point of inquiry through the wedding day. Steve is responsive and helpful. He helped me create a shopping list and menu for our bar which took a load of stress off me during the wedding planning process! We had SO much fun with Steve and our 2nd bartender and highly recommend their service.

We had our bartender back out of our wedding about a month before. Our coordinator recommended Hops and Grains and Steven was quick to get us a quote and everything setup so last minute. He went through our shopping list and made recommendations as well as signature drink recommendations. We had Derek as our bartender and he was awesome! He made sure everyone was taken care of and made awesome drinks, literally the best margarita I have ever had! So glad we had Hops and Grains on our big day! You cannot go wrong hiring them for your wedding!

Let me just tell you how amazing Steve is.... before the wedding, he was so helpful, answered any and all questions, made great suggestions and ALWAYS responded in a timely manner. Day of the wedding, I constantly offered help in anyway I could but he assured me he has it all under control and he totally did! All of my guests raved about what a great bartender he was, how nice he was and that he knew how to make a good and/or stiff drink depending on how you liked it. He even helped pour everyone’s drinks for the toast!!! Would I recommend? YES! If you don’t go with Steve, you’re missing out on a great bartender who is also a great and reasonable price. Honestly, Steve made my day so much more fun and easy because I never had to worry about my guests and their beverages (alcohol or not). So, thank you so much Steve! My guests loved you and to whoever gets married or even just has a big party, I will recommend you every time!

My husband and I were recently married 10/11/2020 and had the pleasure of hiring Steve as our bartender. He was referred to us by Lorimar Vineyard and Winery in Temecula, CA. He by far surpassed our expectations! He answered every question I had (I had a million) and was very knowledgeable and helpful. I have nothing but good things to say about Hops & Grains! I would recommend them to anyone who needs a mobile bartender. Not only did the trailer make a statement at our wedding reception, Steven was outstanding! He was flexible, knowledgeable & helpful throughout the entire process. He was quick to communicate when I had questions, he was adaptable with changes since our wedding was during Covid! I couldn’t thank him enough for 1. bartending in 105 degree weather, 2. for providing the best service to our guests! 10/10 recommend.

I can’t speak highly enough of Steven!! He made our 4th of July/Rehearsal dinner so amazing. Our reception was cancelled 5 days before and he came back to save us for our wedding! He had all drinks memorized and gave us top notch service. Not to mention how friendly he was. He helped coordinate everything we needed as well. Book him!!

Steve was awesome! He was early, prepared and super friendly! We had a Margarita bar and it was a big hit! Best Margaritas in town!! Steve was with us the whole way from what supplies to get -to finished product. Definitely recommend!!!

I’ve never written a review on any vendor or product before in my life. I felt compelled and obligated to write a review about Steve because he was that good. I felt like he was more committed to my own wedding than me even! I had never met Steve so please don’t think I’m just doing a favor for him. Seeing him at my wedding was the first time I met him in person. We loved the idea of a horse trailer so we went for it, but were then blown away by the service. One key detail that was over the top was that for 2 months leading up to the wedding, Steve would answer my spur of the moment phone calls, respond quickly with detail to my text messages, and really knew how much of every drink, cups, etc we would need. We bought all of our own drinks for a 150 person rehearsal dinner, and 230 person wedding. Steve was only hired for the wedding, and yet he was so willing to help me calculate and give insight on what drinks are popular, how much of each I should get etc. for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding. I must have contacted him over 20 times throughout the process and he always wanted to help, and really knew his craft. True story. All that on top of the fact that the horse trailer is freaking awesome. Got several compliments on that for the wedding. One last detail, he returned the kegs for us and then venmoes back the security deposits. Talk about easy. Steve and his cobartender Derek were awesome guys, very professional, knew exactly what they were doing, and quite frankly, even if I was a billionaire hosting the fanciest wedding of all time, these guys would be my bartenders. We just booked Steve for our wedding and he was absolutely amazing! From the beginning to the very last pour he was extremely responsive, accomodative, and easy to work with. He went above and beyond, our family and friends all enjoyed his service and friendliness.
