Our wedding at The Hotel Tampa Riverwalk was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for our special day. The beautiful rive...
rfront location, elegant event spaces, and top-notch service made it an easy choice.
One of the biggest highlights of our experience was working with Samm Fairlie, our venue coordinator. She was an absolute joy to work with—always prompt with her responses, incredibly organized, and genuinely excited to help us bring our vision to life. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Samm made everything feel effortless with her attention to detail and positive attitude.
Beyond the excellent coordination, the entire hotel staff played a huge role in making our day perfect. From the banquet team ensuring everything was set up flawlessly to the bar crew keeping drinks flowing and guests happy, everyone was professional, friendly, and truly dedicated to providing outstanding service. We received so many compliments from our guests about how smooth everything was and how wonderful the staff treated them.
And let’s talk about the food—it was absolutely incredible! Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and exceeded our expectations. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how amazing everything tasted.
Not only was the pricing reasonable, but it was worth every penny for the level of service and quality we received. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue, a more dedicated staff, or a smoother wedding day. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines breathtaking views, outstanding service, and an unforgettable experience, The Hotel Tampa Riverwalk is the perfect choice!
Our wedding here was absolutely perfect! We fell in love with the convenience of the downtown location close to the airport and right on the river. It truly is a venue that can’t b...
e beat. Once we saw the reception space with the private veranda overlooking the river, we were completely sold.
Samm was one of the best parts of the entire planning process. She connected us with incredible vendors and kept everything running smoothly throughout the year and a half we worked together. During the wedding weekend, the rest of the hotel staff was just as amazing. Every family member and guest was thrilled with the service from Hotel Tampa Riverwalk as a whole.
We’ve heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests about every interaction they had from the food and drinks to the overall event experience. We could not recommend this venue (and Samm!) more highly!!
My wedding was 10/4/25. I had the best experience here! First, the bang for your buck is unmatched. A downtown beautiful ballroom with tables and chairs and dance floor and linen a...
nd food and drink and cake, all included?! Amazing. Plus you get Samm, she was the best coordinator and never got annoyed with my emails lol. I really appreciated how well she and the staff did their best to accommodate any request I had, even if it meant getting a little creative. The entire staff was so kind and helpful that weekend. The included bridal suite was ideal and we even got some cookies in our room the night of and then breakfast the morning after. So happy we found Samm and Hotel Tampa Riverwalk. Thank you all so so much ❤️❤️
Hotel tampa riverwalk was amazing for our wedding! They were so helpful and made the day go so smooth. We had the best time and the location was perfect!
Our wedding at Hotel Tampa Riverwalk in May 2025 was nothing short of magical. Choosing this venue was deeply personal for us—it sits along the riverwalk where we’ve shared some of...
our most cherished moments: our first date, our engagement, and many anniversary celebrations. It only felt right to begin our married life in the same place where our love story has unfolded.
From the very beginning, Samm and Heather exceeded every expectation. Their dedication, warmth, and attention to detail made the planning process feel not only seamless but truly joyful. Samm, especially, was a light throughout this journey. She understood my vision completely, and her calm, confident presence gave me peace of mind every step of the way. What started as a professional relationship quickly turned into a heartfelt connection—Samm became so much more than someone I was planning a wedding with; she became a friend.
The day itself was executed flawlessly. Every detail reflected care and intention, and we felt so supported and celebrated. One of the most touching gestures came at the end of the night: Samm had our cake top saved for us and left a sweet little nightcap treat in our bridal suite, complete with a thoughtful note. After a night of dancing like crazy, it was the perfect ending to a perfect day—so personal, so unexpected, and so appreciated.
There’s not a single thing I would change. If you’re considering Hotel Tampa Riverwalk for your wedding, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s not just a beautiful venue—it’s a place where people truly care about your story, your vision, and your joy.
With a very full heart,
Ashleigh & Chris

r to a new location. Our time planning the wedding at the riverwalk was so fun and easy, Samm was responsive and so helpful and while we were not able to have our wedding at the Hotel Tampa Riverwalk, we would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a venue that makes planning so easy, fun, and who would go the extra mile to save the day!

d the rest of the staff. Samm was extremely attentive and responsive throughout our planning and a huge help on the night of the wedding making sure everything was going smoothly. The Riverwalk ballroom was the perfect size for our guests and has the best view of the river (especially at night!). The food was amazing and the bartenders were quick, efficient, and fun. I know a lot of guests also appreciated the coffee and water station provided throughout the night. We were so pleased with the entire experience and thankful for the valet (especially Marcus), servers, bartenders, Samm, Esteban, Chef Bill, and other hotel staff who made our wedding weekend so amazing. We would definitely recommend hosting your event here!!

and! The Sheraton is the best of both worlds because our guests enjoyed the beautiful waterfront views and sunset during cocktail hour, and got to enjoy the city views as well. Our pictures were beautiful with so many backdrops to choose from. We even did a boat exit to wave goodbye to all of our guests!
Most importantly, the wedding coordinator at The Sheraton, Paul Sparks, is unbelievable! Paul is so quick to answer any questions and did not miss any details! I told him our vision, and he made it happen plus some! I would book with The Sheraton just to have the opportunity to work with Paul! My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day because Paul ran the whole show flawlessly!
The food was amazing, 6 months later people are still telling me how amazing the food tasted. My family is from New York, so the cocktail hour was very important to us. Everyone said the food and drinks were non-stop flowing. Also, my hubs and our bridal party were given a private room during the cocktail hour stocked with endless food and drinks, it was one of our favorite parts of the whole night! There's nothing better than sitting with your new husband and best friends enjoying a cold glass of champagne just before the real party starts. We also added The Gelato Carte to our reception, and everyone raved about it!
My husband and I were barely able to eat at the reception (everyone told me this would happen, but I thought we might break the norm...didn't happen haha!). Paul had our meals sent up to our suite along with all of our gifts so we didn't have to worry about a thing. After the reception, we walked into our suite to find champagne chilling and huge chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us, complimentary from the hotel and Paul! One of my favorite memories from the night was eating our wedding meal in our giant suite overlooking the RiverWalk!
We couldn't be happier with our reception venue choice. I would recommend The Sheraton ten times over. If I could do it all again, I would do it the exact same way!

ion during our wedding planning and ensured all of my questions were answered. Valet service is the only option for parking but the team was very quick and efficient. The front driveway was under construction and there was a lot of debris and was unattractive to my wedding guests. Unfortunately the pool was also being emptied for repair so we were unable to utilize the patio and pool for entertainment. The rooms were kept clean and neat and the breakfast buffet was delicious.
