Our House of Blues wedding was absolutely fantastic! We had our ceremony in the Cambridge room, cocktail hour in the mezzanine and reception in the Music Hall. Haley and Fin were organized, responsive, and so easy to work with. The entire team at House of Blues was kind and professional. We received loads of compliments from our guests on the food and how fun and cool the venue itself was. We were also so grateful for the tech team, the sound and lighting were amazing. We couldn’t have asked for anything more! Thanks again!

Thank you so much for your wonderful words! It was a pleasure working with you and Lee. We had a blast celebrating with you and your family and wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
We recently had our wedding at the House of Blues and could not have been happier with how everything went. Haley and Fin were great to work with and answered emails and texts very quickly. The day of staff was great and super helpful. Everyone also raved about the food! With the amazing architecture and design of the venue we did not need much in terms of decorations or centerpieces. The day of AV staff went above and beyond to make our wedding unforgettable.

Thanks so much, Nichole! You and Travis were so much fun to work with and we could not have been more thrilled to be a part of your story. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!!
PHENOMENAL. We can’t say enough about Haley, Fin, Terri, Mel, the kitchen crew, the service staff, the bartenders, and the technical group at House of Blues Cleveland. They all worked tirelessly to make our vision come to life. Our guests are still raving about the cool vibe of the venue, the location, and especially the FOOD! If we had the opportunity to do it again, we would choose House of Blues Cleveland every time.

Any questions?
I recently photographed a wedding for a client at the House of Blues & Haley was so wonderful to work with! She immediately kept me in the loop with all of the necessary details for my client, which always makes for a well - organized wedding! Haley is super kind & easy going! I look forward to working with her again in the future :-)

Thank you, Larry! It's always a pleasure working with you! Your photography work is stunning and you capture our venue perfectly!
Our wedding day was booked 9/27/2022 for 5/20/2023. We had our wedding ceremony and reception in the Cambridge Room at the House of Blues in Cleveland. The pros: I married my best friend! The wait staff/bartenders were very kind. The venue is beautiful for a wedding day and taking photos. You truly do not need to fill the room for decor. All of the food with one exception was remarkable. The cons: Our contract was signed 9/27/2022 for 5/20/2023. On 2/2/2023 our food tasting occurred it was wonderful & very exciting planning for the big day & I had advised Raeann we wanted to add more guests to our guest list. This was something she had advised could be done (this was advised several times via email and verbally). After receiving minimal communication from Raeann to update the contract I checked my emails on 2/22/23 & found that on 2/2/2023 the day of our tasting I had missed an email was sent to me by the coordinator advising/suggesting a date change due to other events that were scheduled after our wedding. 3 months before our wedding day we were being asked to change our date. Cindi from the venue spoke to us several times & advised if we could make concessions we could keep the day. She also stated she would make sure our day was wonderful so with that assurance we signed a new contract as we had sent out save the dates/had a wedding website up and this information was communicated to our guests, vendors, and employers. The venue did provide a credit for the concessions made. The day of the wedding; My husband/groomsmen were not allowed into the venue at their scheduled arrival time. I walked down the aisle to the wrong song. Cindy assured she would be able to press play on my iPad. As the doors were about to open to walk down the aisle to a different song because she could not get the iPad to work. When the doors opened my seating chart that was clearly communicated and reviewed with Cindy was incorrect. The entire room was backwards putting the parents of the bride and groom in the back/guest confusion. The agreed upon tea light holders/table numbers were not used. Our recessional music was not played. The food was served prior to prayer. It was communicated at the rehearsal verbally to Cindy my Aunt would be saying grace. The food was served before I was in the room with no communication. At the tasting the chef has advised he would make Panko breadcrumb mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. Our guests received frozen mozzarella sticks. My husband had to get our plates of food from the buffet although we were advised we would received plated dinner. When I asked the production man any questions I was told “I am not an iPad guy.” Our contract stated music would be played on an iPad. We had to ask several times to have the buffet removed and cake cut. 5 days following our wedding we received an email from Cindi thanking us for having our event and there would be no charge for the valet. The overbooking of the venue and having to resign a contract served as a foreshadowing for our day. We put trust in the House of Blues staff and unfortunately we do not feel the event we were sold is what was delivered. We do not recommend. It was clear we were not the priority event. We would have easily spent more to have the day we were promised. My husband and I put a lot of time into the details of this day and it is so unfortunate we have leave a review that is not 5 stars.
Our wedding reception at the House of Blues was more than we could have ever asked for. The staff was incredible to work with from start to finish, the food was absolutely amazing, and the venue is gorgeous. Our guests also loved being able to walk to their hotels. Cocktail hour and the start of the reception ran so smoothly and the appetizers were some of the best we'd ever had. Guests also enjoyed having cocktail hour in a slightly different location. The HOB staff set all of our decorations up perfectly and were so accommodating for our requests. We turned our reception into a surprise pregnancy/gender reveal and the love and excitement from the staff was so sweet and appreciated. I can't say enough good things about our big day and we're so grateful to everyone at the House of Blues that made it the best day ever. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was SO much fun, and our guests are STILL talking about it.
Our House of Blues wedding was awesome! Our guests had so much fun at this unique venue and loved watching the wedding itself from the concert seats. The bridal party enjoyed spending cocktail hour in the Foundation Room as a break from the bustling day and were stoked how close we were to East 4th Street after the event to keep the party going. The food was amazing - the favorites were the scallops and the cornbread! My husband and I couldn't be happier.
I couldn’t recommend House of Blues enough! If you are looking for a different type of venue, this is the place. We originally booked with them pre-pandemic so as you can imagine, some changes in staffing occurred during our planning process but every single person we spoke to was so helpful. We delayed our wedding twice due to the pandemic and thankfully, the venue was very flexible and accommodating. As our date approached, we primarily worked with Julie who was incredibly prompt to respond and so great to work with. On our wedding day, we got to work with Mel and Terry. I’m convinced I would not have been able to have a successful wedding without them. From deciding on where to put florals to ensuring my undergarments weren’t visible in pictures, Terry was on top of it! Mel did a great job coordinating with my other vendors (DJ, florist, etc) and everything happened without a hitch. One major perk was that Live Nation requires all staff to be vaccinated for COVID-19 which was very important to us.
We were able to take tons of pictures throughout the venue (Foundation Room, green rooms back stage, main concert hall, even the back alley outside). Our wedding party and immediate family loved being able to access the Foundation Room before/after the ceremony - we had the place to ourselves.
You will not find a better venue for lighting and sound - the perks of hosting a wedding at a concert venue!
The food was phenomenal. The food tasting was one of the best parts of planning because it’s just that good. We got so many compliments from guests about food, staff, and overall experience. Even our elderly guests (not your average concert-goers) loved how different the venue was. Everyone kept saying how cool it was to be at a wedding at House of Blues as most guests had attended concerts there in the past.
If you are looking for a funky, amazing venue with a great staff, House of Blues is the place. We wish we could get married here every year!
We had our wedding at HOB (in the music hall) in August 2019 and it was perfect! From start to finish, the staff were easy to communicate with, detail-oriented, and thoughtful. The day of the wedding, they offered so much support and assistance, we didn't have to worry about a thing. We received so many compliments on the food (the tasting was also super fun!) and the venue itself. After researching a lot of venues in Cleveland, HOB offered the best package for a reasonable price. Thank you for making our wedding so fun!
The House of Blues was a fantastic wedding venue! Not only is everything included, the staff makes sure everything it perfect for your day!! The place is fun and decorated venue which lends to any style you want to throw at it. I honestly cannot say enough positive things about the room, food, and everything that was included in any package you picked. Jen and her team know what they are doing!! Best value and such a unique wedding site! Now my husband and I go to any Hous of Blues when traveling and collect merch to remind us of our special day (how many other venues can you do that with?!). If I could give them 100 stars I would!
Having our wedding at House of Blues was one of the best decisions we made throughout the whole process. The venue is fun and unique and the staff is fantastic. We planned the wedding through Jen and had the opportunity to work with Mel the day of the event. They’re both amazing. Mel’s energy and enthusiasm for her job is contagious. They’re the dynamic duo! The food at House of Blues is unreal! Everything was absolutely delicious. Our guests raved about the food. Our wedding was beyond perfect and we owe it to the HOB team for doing an exceptional job! I would absolutely recommend House of Blues!!
Having our wedding reception at The House of Blues was the best decision we made during the entire year. Jen and Mel couldn’t have been more attentive throughout the entire planning process. Everything went off without a hitch! I strongly urge you to at least set a meeting there to learn more!!
Our reception was everything we dreamed of and more. I first came across this venue at a bridal show at the Q in March of 2018, and was taken aback by how cool the customized ticket stubs they create for your event were. I corresponded with Jen Rickey, who is one of a kind in her field. Through the whole process, Jen went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and budget. Food, alcohol, and set up and tear down were all taken care of by HOB. Jen was with us every step of the way to ensure that things went perfectly, and everything exceeded our expectations. My husband and I had access to the members only Foundation Room to take photos and relax before our introduction and entrance to our reception. Our names were out on the marquee by the Euclid entrance, and we selected to have a valet for the evening of our event. We also had complimentary ticket stubs made with our names, event, and date on them for our guests. Our guests were floored by the gorgeous setting and impeccable service. The setting and location were perfect; being ornate, we didn’t need tons of decor, and we were in the heart of downtown Cleveland to continue the after party. I highly recommend reaching out the Jen if you are considering having any event in the Cleveland area!
I have to say it, my wedding was the best I've ever been to! I used the Cambridge Room. Jen Rickey is phenomenal to work with. She answers questions quickly, organizes everything, and makes sure you have nothing to worry about on the big day. Mel and Terry are great to work with as well. Mel did all my set up and tear down and Terry is the wedding mom. She is with you for everything you need. Their service is great, the food is amazing (everyone actually got full, even me!), and the space is gorgeous. 100% recommend!
To any fellow couples looking for the perfect wedding experience- look no further.
I was a very anxious bride and the HOB staff put all of my personal worries to rest. My husband is very laid back and they would also help with decision making when we were indifferent.
If you're looking for a place that will wow your guests this is it! Food, drinks, bartenders,-everything. We received so many compliments.
Again, the staff was AMAZING. I cannot say enough nice things about them- they were so kind, accommodating, and even excited for us to get married. It felt like they were extremely helpful family members!
The experience beyond exceeded my expectations. We are both so grateful and from the bottom of our hearts thankful for the HOB crew.
We can't wait to celebrate our 25 wedding anniversary here!!!!
Words can't even begin to describe how absolutely grateful I am to have chosen House of Blues for my big day. We decided to do the full day in the Cambridge Room/Lobby - ceremony in Cambridge, cocktail hour in the lobby, then reception back in the Cambridge. From start to finish, I had absolutely nothing to worry about. The food was fantastic and was exactly the same as at the tasting, the team was efficient, professional, helpful, and a wonderfully calming presence that made everything run incredibly smoothly.
You get so much when you plan with House of Blues:
There's a point person, Jen Rickey was who helped me, that oversees everything and is only a phone call away when leading up to the big day and she helped clarify and hammer out so many details with me and put me at ease through everything.
On the day of you have an entire team of people helping to make sure you're fed, hydrated with whatever you prefer, and in place at the right times, which is an absolute god-send when you have a party of people!
With that team of people, we had in house catering provided by House of Blues that we were able to tailor menu to our tastes and was so delicious! We had included rentals - tables, linens, chairs, dishware - things you just don't think about but are so necessary!
We had our own bathrooms, which is so important! Up-lighting, sound for our DJ, bar packages, teams of people that flipped the rooms for us so seamlessly that it seemed like it took zero effort to pull it all off, staying in touch with my vendors, helping me come up with my day of timeline, reviewing exactly what decor needed to go where, having generally fantastic customer service to myself and all of my guests, this list honestly goes on endlessly.
Along with all of this, the other added bonuses are out of this world! My contract gave me access to the Foundation Room - an exclusive members only club that acted as our holding room for the big day, our names were featured on the marquee, we got access to a show playing during our wedding, tickets printed that could act as seating charts or save the dates, and, most important of all - a venue that is both unique and entertaining that's sure to leave a lasting impression on everyone that is involved with your wedding!
My husband and I live 3 hours away from where the wedding was and we were really anxious to get a room that we liked booked. We found The House of Blues and we were so excited because it was PERFECT. Throughout the whole planning experience, Jen Rickey was AMAZING. She was very attentive and helpful. She helped make planning go by very easily. The big day finally came around and it went off without a hitch. Mel, Jen, the bartenders and everyone else who helped, made this day the most perfect day. If there was something that happened, I never knew about it. They even brought us food in between the pictures. This really is one of the best places to get married! Thank you to everyone who made this day go by so smooth at The House of Blues. It really was a perfect day.
The House of Blues was fantastic. Everyone was great to work with, they took care of everything, even the smallest of details. The food was incredible, our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves . . .they stayed on the dance floor until the last song was played. It was a fantastic evening.
The House of Blues was the absolute best decision we made for our wedding. We were looking for a setting that was smaller, intimate and required as little work as possible. Although the House of Blues offers a larger option in the main hall, we opted for the Cambridge Room which seats about 100 people. We had both our ceremony and reception in this room. The room (and the entire venue) is so beautiful and unique on it's own, it required little work to make it perfect. Jen, was my point of contact throughout the planning process and replied promptly whenever I had questions. The House of Blues handles the lighting, food, tables, ect. so all we brought in were flowers, and some light decor to make it personal. The day of the wedding, Jen and Mel took care of everything. Set up, coordinating with the other vendors, everything. Also, Terry was like our own personal assistant the entire night. She made sure the groom and I had time alone. She made sure we had drinks in our hand. She made sure we actually got to eat our meal when it was served. This was the most helpful touch I was not expecting but I was so grateful for. I would recommend the House of Blues to anyone!
We had my daughter’s wedding at the HOB in August. It was great. Wonderful service and great value. Everyone down the servers were great. Jennifer was always available for questions. Night went very smoothly. Food was great
What can we say except that the House of Blues EXCEEDED our expectations and helped us have the perfect Wedding. Jen Rickey was EXCEPTIONAL in guiding us through every step of the process – from start to finish! We were always well informed throughout our experience; and all details and special requests were handled with care and professional expertise. We never felt rushed and we always felt that our needs were important to the HOB staff. Our wedding was held in the main Music Hall with approximately 155 guests. We had a singer (Michael Sonata) for cocktail and dinner hour, and the band Sumrada on the main stage after dinner for dancing. The sound was fantastic and the logistics for everyone was executed perfectly. Coordination with Jen, Terri and Mel (as well as the rest of the HOB staff) was efficient and punctual. Even when we had some “hiccups” (NOT related to anyone at the House of Blues) - the HOB staff helped us to SOLVE the issues and get through our day seamlessly. The Venue was inviting and festive, the food terrific, the staff friendly, and so much more! East 4th was a fun atmosphere to be at for the “after party;” and downtown hotels were convenient for “out of town, “ - as well as- “in-town” guests! We cannot THANK Jen, Mel, Terri and the HOB staff enough for such a lovely event filled with such fond memories! I would recommend the House of Blues to anyone looking to plan a wedding to remember! We have had so many of our guests tell us that this was the best wedding they had ever attended. Five Stars is not enough!
Jen & Mel are amazing! We wanted a unique venue for our wedding (not exactly the "hotel ballroom" type of people) and HOB was perfect. Since they had everything in house (chairs, tables, audio, lighting, food, liquor, etc...) it made it super easy to get the event planned and executed stress free.
The Foundation Room is an excellent place to get some pictures taken and relax between the ceremony and reception.
As always, the food was incredible - we got compliments from everyone on every single thing they ate!
I absolutely 100% recommend HOB Cleveland if you are looking for a cool, non-traditional space to have your wedding and/or reception. My husband and I got married in the Cambridge Room in June 2017 and we had the BEST night of our lives.
First of all, the whole shebang was within our (very reasonable) budget. Second of all, the room is AMAZING - it's cozy, warm, and intimate which is exactly what we were looking for. We went with kind of a dark bohemian vibe - jewel tones, colorful floral centerpieces, and REAL candles on the tables (this was a big deal to me lol). You do not need to spend a boatload on additional decor (unless you want to!) because this room already has a ton of personality.
THE FOOD was incredible - and the tasting experience was so fun. Everything came out exactly as it was when we first tried it, and it was delicious. The tasting is included in the cost, and they set us up with a private table in the restaurant and even boxed up all the leftovers to take home afterwards.
THE STAFF was unbelievably friendly and organized. Special shout outs to Jen, Mel and Terri!! If you are choosing to do it on your own without hiring a separate coordinator, you won't regret it. Even when we were feeling overwhelmed, they were on top of everything - asking questions we didn't think of, offering suggestions, giving advice, etc. There is a wealth of experience here and I was so blown away by how gracious everyone was. The serving staff working the actual reception was also amazing - our guests raved about the service they received.
Once we arrived at the venue, we didn't have to lift a finger. We were given access to the private club (the Foundation Room) for refreshments before and after the ceremony which was so relaxing. We honestly felt like VIP celebrities, just chillin in our private lounge - nbd!
If you are looking for a way to make your wedding day extra special, and extra cool, you should absolutely consider House of Blues Cleveland. People are still talking to me about what an amazing time they had, how impressed they were with everything, and just how different the vibe was than most weddings. It was so perfect.
Highly, highly, highly recommend!!!
My daughter's wedding reception was at House of Blues in September. Everything was seamless from the year long planning to the event itself. The food was absolutely wonderful, the lighting and decor are awesome and no detail was missed no matter how small. If you want to have an unforgettable party, do it at HOB. Many of our guests have told us it was the best wedding reception they have ever attended.
House of Blues gave us our dream wedding! Jen, Mel, Terri, and the rest of the team were total rock stars from start to finish.
All along , we knew we wanted to have our wedding in a unique venue downtown. The House of Blues is just that. The Cambridge room is ornately decorated and has a super cool vibe.
Jen was so easy to work with. She guided us through the whole process and made sure everything was perfect for our vision.
Mel & Terri were invaluable on the day of the wedding. They made sure everyone/everything was taken care of and the bridal party was where they needed to be. They anticipated any and all of our needs and kept this anxiety prone bride completely stress-free.
We loved being able to use the Foundation room before and after the ceremony. It was great to have some time to breathe and celebrate with our bridal party.
The food and drinks were just divine! We went with the adobo fried chicken and bbq pulled pork. Our signature drink was a "Married" Moscow Mule.
On top of all this, we felt that House of Blues was a great value for our money. It was one of the more reasonably priced venues downtown but absolutely no detail was spared.
Overall, I'd recommend the House of Blues to any couple looking for an impeccably unique and totally "Cleveland" wedding experience.
I can't say enough about the people at house of blues. Jen was upfront from day one on costs and covered services and was essentially a built in wedding planner. Everything was taken care of so me, my husband and our families could relax and enjoy the night. Day of, Jen and Mel took care of every last detail and kept the night moving seamlessly. Our guests have been raving about the food and the location cannot be beat. The access to the foundation room was a major plus and provided an awesome backdrop for pictures that even our photographer was gushing about. Truly the perfect night!
Best. Venue. Ever.
There are not enough good things I can say here about Jen Rickey and her team at HOB. My husband and I already knew we wanted to have our wedding at HOB, but when we met with Jen and did a walk through the first time, we knew immediately we were making the best decision.
Having our wedding and reception there in the music hall was one of the best decisions we made for a number of reasons (a few highlights below):
Jen Rickey - absolute superstar! Even with my last minute requests, she was able to make them happen flawlessly! She always had the best ideas, and would have the most detailed documentation. I prefer to work through email, and she was so responsive! There is so much that she did for the wedding planning, and she was also so understanding and supportive of those crazy bride moments.
Teri - Logistics coordinator the day / night of: incredible and a boss! Everything was perfectly orchestrated and she was in charge of keeping everyone in line.
The food - all guests continue to tell me how they had multiple visits to the buffet and the late night snacks. The tasting was so awesome, and really one of my favorite parts of the planning process!
The venue - incredibly unique and super cool. We had our guests on the mezzanine level as we got married on stage and then reception followed downstairs on the concert floor. It was so easy to have everyone in one place for the entire event.
Sound system - get a DJ to plug in and use that amazing system
Drinks - such an awesome offering for all drink packages
Price - since i was incredibly budget conscious, HOB really made the most sense since I needed a downtown venue for out of town guests and they include so many options that are usually considered extras (servers, food, multiple bar package levels, utensils, etc)
If you're looking for a place filled with vibrant colors, lighting, good food, and most importantly, the most amazing staff, HOB is absolutely the best place to have your wedding.
My husband and I got married on 6/4/16 at in the concert hall of HOB. It was the best night of our lives. EVERYTHING was so organized and perfect, I could go on for days. Jen,Terri and all other staff did an amazing job putting everything together. Just having access to the foundation room was worth it. We arrived with the bridal party around 3-4, did a quick rehearsal, got married, had cocktail hour with the bridal party up in the foundation room, then went to the reception. If you are a music lover, and love the funky vibe of HOB, there really isn't any other place to get married. DO IT! You won't regret it.
Meet with the staff at House of Blues and you can stop searching for a venue! We cannot say enough about our wedding!! As others have said, Jen, Mel, and Terri are absolutely incredible as are all the crew behind the scenes. Everything far exceeded our expectations. We will be recommending House of Blues to anyone planning a wedding.
Jen Rickey at the House of Blues was wonderful to work with. All Staff at our event were friendly and helpful.
When we were looking for a venue for our big day, we were looking for a place that stood by itself and we didn't need to bring a lot with us. We definitely found this in the House of Blues, and to top it all off there was an amazing staff that comes with it! From day one Jen Rickey went beyond what was expected and did so much for us! On the day of Jen, Mel and Terry were so amazingly helpful I honestly don't know what we would have done without them! From getting us where we needed to be to getting us everything we needed, Jen, Mel and Terry were irreplaceable! Oh, and don't get me started on the food! It was amazing and perfect for my new husband and I! Even our guests were blown away! This place is a must for any couple who wants to have an amazing big day!
Unique, fun reception spot! We loved absolutely everything about the House of Blues, from the responsive and accommodating staff to the colorful, unique décor. We wanted a venue that was a little different, and had our wedding for 180 people in the main music hall – a perfect spot because they do the lighting (no need for expensive up-lighting!) and the sound system makes the music and dancing like you're at a concert. The food/drink is great (coconut shrimp app is a must-try, and they can do signature drinks) and they have a lot of different options to choose from, and the décor is already set so you really don't need to decorate. They have lots of other really cool spaces for smaller groups 50-100 as well. It's also right downtown on East 4th, so lots of options for nearby hotels (we had guests stay at The Arcade across the street) and after-parties. Everyone was complimenting us on how awesome the space was. And, summer is actually their OFF-season – so renting the space was cheaper than usual! Also, don't hesitate to ask if you want something – for instance, they ordered pomegranate juice for my signature cocktail even though they don't regularly have it at the bar.
One thing to note – the only chairs they have for the larger main music hall space are metal black folding chairs. We didn't like the look of those for a wedding, so we had to rent chairs. A lot of the photos show chiavari chairs but just know those are going to cost extra from a third-party.
There aren't enough words to describe how amazing our experience was with House of Blues Cleveland. From the very beginning, Jen, and her team were nothing but responsive and easy to work with. They made everything so easy, and to top it all off, my fiance and I were planning it all from California.
If the amazing attention to detail Jen had throughout the planning process wasn't enough, the actual day was flawless! Jen and Terry treated myself, my husband, and our guests with the best service we've ever experienced. To top it all off, the food was FANTASTIC! Three days later, we're still getting constant texts from guests about what an unbelievable venue the House of Blues was. My husband and I would highly recommend Jen and the entire HOB Cleveland staff if you're looking to have a stress free, fun, and magical reception!!
When my husband and I found out that the House of Blues did weddings, we knew that's exactly where we had to have our intimate, 50 guest wedding. We are both into music and wanted a unique experience for our guests. Jennifer Rickey worked with us over many months communicating every detail of our vision. We met with her once to do an initial tour of the space, once for a tasting, and once the week of the wedding. We felt very comfortable and confident that HOB could help us to make this day the best ever! We dropped off our decorations the week of (trust me, you won't need much, the integrity of the room is great on its own!) and Jen, along with Terri, Mel and the others who worked our event set everything up exactly how I envisioned it to look. Throughout the planning process we decided to take on our own music for the evening. We just didn't want to use any of our budget on someone we don't know, not knowing how they DJ. The production manager (I believe his name is Steve) worked with my friend to make sure our music was set up correctly and it went pretty well all evening! The food is downright amazing, the only thing I feel I should mention is that you don't get to take leftovers home with you. That didn't really play a factor into booking with HOB, and they do it for legal reasons. Another awesome benefit of hosting a wedding there is the access to the foundation room. We truly felt like rock stars during cocktail hour when our wedding party and we were upstairs getting pampered left and right with snacks and drinks. I am so happy my husband and I chose to have our wedding at the House of Blues and I'm a little sad my time working with the staff is over! Every little detail was perfect. We opted for the ticket invites and getting our names on the marquee too, which our guests loved! I could go on and on and on about how incredible the day was (& our whole planning process in general). I will always smile on the inside when I go back to HOB, and I hope I can attend someone else's wedding there in the future!
We had such a wonderful time, and are so glad we booked our wedding ceremony and reception here. Jen, our sales manager, was a rock star and a dream to work with, and the logistics and other staff we met (Terry, Mel, Chef Eric...) were outstanding!
My fiance (now husband) and I worked with Jen for many months leading up to our wedding, and she was super-responsive, and helped us with our many questions we had throughout the process of planning our wedding. Since we did not have an outside wedding planner, and did most of the coordinating ourselves, this was incredibly helpful.
The Cambridge Room (smaller room off the side of the Grand Lobby and Main Hall) was the perfect size for our 70 person wedding. The room itself is gorgeous, and really lent itself to a cozy ceremony and lively wedding. I love the statues and ornate walls and ceiling. We had some small decorations on our tables, and floral arrangements scattered throughout the room, but it felt like we had much more because the room is so beautifully furnished. The HOB staff was able to arrange our decorations perfectly, too!
With our room rental, we also had access to the Foundation Room, which was perfect for taking photos in, between the ceremony and reception, especially with inclement weather! I felt very privileged to be in this lovely space, and loved every minute of it!
While we were taking photos, we also were able to eat the small hors d'oeuvres for our cocktail hour. The HOB staff was very great about making sure we were able to eat and drink, which my husband and I really appreciated!
I cannot say enough of how much we enjoyed our experience with HOB Cleveland. Everyone we met was professional, timely, organized, and super-friendly. Our wedding was better than we even hoped it would be, and we heard countless compliments from our family and guests. Everyone had a blast! This was the best day of my life!
WOW...!!! We were completely blown away by Jennifer Rickey's handling of our wedding at the House of Blues. She, Mel, Terri, and the others are FANTASTIC...!!! They made themselves available to answer all our questions and made everything effortless up to our big day. They were warm, friendly, and genuinely punctilious in handling all of my wife's (and my now mother-in-law's) requests and details. I was skeptical thinking we were asking for so much but Jennifer and her team (Mel, Terri, Billy and others) were extraordinary in making our wedding flow effortlessly - like a dream! I cannot express how pleased we are with Jennifer and the House of Blues staff - far beyond our expectations. I highly recommend them for any event!
***Another HUGE benefit was not only was HOB affordable, but they food was DELICIOUS and they make it all there. Everyone at the wedding went on and on about how great the food was. Another thing is they do the lighting and the DJ or band can just plug right into their sound system. Our wedding was spectacular and so much fun thanks to Jennifer, Mel, Terri, and everyone else with the House of Blues...!!!
Our wedding reception experience in the Cambridge Room was beyond expectation. Jen, Mel, Terri, and the whole crew at special event planning went out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of, so that we could focus on our wedding day. We were treated like rockstars the whole night, and our guests wouldn't stop commenting on how unique and beautiful the venue was. Thank you again for everything!
When my Fiance and I started looking at venues we knew we wanted something right in the city- close to restaurants, bars and hotels- to make it more fun and easy for our out of town guests and something different/eclectic. After touring the main music hall at the House of Blues we knew this was our venue! We had both our ceremony and reception in the main music hall. It was the best night of our lives and people are still talking about how it was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding! Jen, the event coordinator, is attentive, responsive and helpful and not only worked with us throughout the entire planning process, but was also at our wedding making sure everything went off without a hitch from the time we arrived to the time the last guest left the building. The food was delicious, the bartenders were great and the entire atmosphere made guests feel like they could dance the night away! We couldn't have asked for a better venue, staff and location for our wedding!
As the mother of the bride, I could not be happier with the House of Blues! We held the wedding and reception there. The staff was professional, the food was terrific, everything was perfect. We heard nothing but rave reviews from friends and family. The recommended vendors: dj and officiant were also great. I would absolutely recommend the House of Blues for a wedding.
I couldn't be happier with our HOB wedding reception! We had about 70 people in the Cambridge Room - it was intimate but still had a great rock-and-roll vibe. The live band sounded fantastic (and looked impressive on the professional stage), and the food stations were delicious - lots of cajun food that was different from most weddings.
Jen and Mel were AMAZINGLY helpful! Jen was always available and got back to me right away with answers to my questions. Also, I did all my own centerpieces and they took my vision and made everything look beautiful. As an added bonus, the bridal party got to hang in the VIP room during cocktail hour, which was a great way to unwind privately before the big reception.
HOB did an incredibly well-organized and professional job. Everything went so smoothly and I highly recommend this venue to other future brides!
The House of Blues was the perfect place for our wedding! Jen, Mel, and Terri did an absolutely amazing job! Jen was always available to answer all of my completely random questions and, together with Mel, set up all the decorations perfectly. Terri kept the entire night moving smoothly and on schedule. They all had great suggestions, and clearly have weddings down to a science. The food was delicious, the venue was beautiful, and we had such a good time! We truly couldn't have asked for a better night and would absolutely recommend the House of Blues to anyone planning a wedding!
As an officiant for ten years I can tell you that the members of this staff are AMAZING! They are absolutely on point and consistently provide excellent service for the couples, guests, and other wedding pros working with the venue. The food and drink options are fantastic.
There are a number of options for ceremonies to accommodate weddings of all sizes. The different rooms are all well equipped with pro sound, lighting, and staging to ensure you have flexibility and reliability on your big day.
In my decade of performing weddings I have seen a lot of venues. If you want to be certain that you will be taken care of properly you can count on House of Blues. I do not give my seal of approval easily but this team gets my full endorsement!
The HOB and their staff pulled off an amazing wedding reception. The lighting and decor blew the guests away. The food was amazing, we had the food stations so people kept going back for 2nds and 3rds. Everyone admitted it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. Overall, it was a really fun atmosphere and our guests commented all night how it was the best wedding they ever went to!
The House of Blues in Cleveland was our venue and our caterer. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding! The ceremony and reception were both held in the main music room. Getting married on the stage was an incredible experience! The food was out of this world, and the atmosphere was fun and energetic!
The thing that impressed me the most was the outstanding service. We had three people working tirelessly the day of the wedding (two of whom were working tirelessly through the whole planning process!) to make sure everything was going smoothly, and ensure that we were happy. Not to mention the bartenders and staff that made sure our guests were happy, the food stations were full, and we were having fun.
We didn't have to worry about a thing! Everything was perfect, and everyone at the House of Blues seemed genuinely concerned about making sure our wedding was perfect, and it really was!
We had our ceremony at the House of Blues Cleveland. All I can saw is WOW!!! The entire staff was on their "A" game letting nothing slip through the cracks. They always had someone by my side in case I needed anything and all were in communication with each other. It was absolutely perfect. I searched many ceremony venues in Cleveland and honestly felt that most were so overpriced for what you got, not true with the House of Blues. They really took care of EVERYTHING! I recommend this to anyone who wants a little something different for their wedding or ceremony.
When my now husband and I began our wedding venue search, we wanted something fun and different. From the first time I spoke to Rachel from the House of Blues on the phone, I knew we picked the right location. She had a way of making me not worry or stress about anything. She met with us and as soon as we saw the space we did not hesitate to book it. Rachel was on top of everything. Anytime I emailed or called she always had the answers to my questions. It was like my own personal wedding planner, one I never thought I could afford. The food tasting was probably my husbands best part and highly recommended. As the day got closer I was able to meet more of the staff and they were just as amazing as Rachel. Mel and Terry took great care of the whole bridal party. We got married on March 29, 2014 and the unexpected blizzard made for a long day but the three of them made sure there was nothing to worry about. Guests are still talking about the wedding.Everything from the decor to the food to the unique way we did our ceremony. They all raved how it was the BEST wedding they have every been too. Getting married on the main stage of the Music Hall was better than we ever could have expected. If you are looking for a fun venue, amazing food, and an all around fantastic time, give Rachel a call!!! The staff really knows how to throw a party there!! I wish i could get married there every year :-)
My husband and I were looking for a wedding venue (ceremony and reception) that was a little more non-traditional, and we're so happy we went with HOB Cleveland! Rachel and her crew were so helpful and went beyond our expectations with everything. The venue itself is beautiful, the food was amazing, and the waitstaff/bartenders/additional staff that were there were all friendly and professional. Like others reviewers have mentioned, many of our guests have told us how awesome and fun our wedding was- and how great the food was! If you are looking for something a little different for your wedding/reception, definitely contact Rachel and check out HOB.
We had our wedding here and everything was amazing. Many guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The staff was so helpful! The Venue is so unique and we felt like rockstars!
The best venue I could have asked for because even a month after our wedding, our guests are STILL raving about it! From the food selections to eclectic venue and art, this venue was perfect for our personalities and love of music. By far the best time we have ever spent in the House of Blues Cleveland!
I cant say enough about Rachel Rosen, and the House of Blues. Our wedding was so fun, and people are still talking about it. It was incredibly easy and fun to work with Rachel and the staff at HOB. Rachel was very accessible, and flexible. The food, drink, and layout was perfect. I wouldn't change a thing. Absolutely the most fun day of my life!
We were so pumped to be able to have our wedding at the House of Blues and it turned out to be the most memorable and fun night of our lives! From the start, our coordinator Rachel was amazing and made us feel super comfortable. She helped us through the planning decisions and eased any worry we had along the way. Everything went as planned on the day of and turned out perfectly. It was exactly as we had imagined it. Rachel and Mel, the day of coordinator, and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful in the setup of everything and the flow of the night. Couldn't not be happier with the service and our guests cannot stop talking about it. The food was delicious, and everyone loved the atmosphere! Especially us!
I cannot express into words just how grateful my (now) husband and I are to have had our wedding reception at the House of Blues!
As the other reviews so enthusiastically mention, Rachel was the best event coordinator we could have hoped for! She was friendly, professional, personable and accommodating every step of the way. Every question we had, she answered quickly and efficiently. Every request we had, she did her best to make come true!
Once the day of the final walk-through arrived, she brought in her "day of" assistant, Mel, who was also an incredible asset to our big day. Mel was sweet, straight-forward, eager to help and fun. She made sure we left our walk-through with all of our questions and concerns answered and understood, which led us to be even more excited for our special day. They also allowed our grooms men to enjoy the walk through with us which got THEM excited for the events to start!
When we arrived at the House of Blues after our Ceremony, we took pics in front of the marquee (with our names on it) and got brought up to speed on the events of our cocktail hour and geared up to be announced! There was literally NO problems through our entire reception and we were treated so well and taken care of the whole time. The entire staff, from the bar tenders to security, was friendly and professional and treated our guests with respect and smiles!
When they announced the last song of the night, we realized that out of the 200 guests we had, almost ALL of them were STILL THERE. This includes all of our grandparents, who left the last family wedding an hour and a half into the reception and who we expected to do the same for ours! It was an amazing feeling to know that with the generous help of the House of Blues, we were able to execute such a memorable and fun time for not just us and our bridal party, but for all of our guests as well.
The next day while at Brunch with close family and friends, everyone gushed about how our "wedding was the most fun they've had in years", how it was "the best wedding they'd ever been to", how they "want to have their reception at the house of blues one day" and how "it was the wedding of the century".
So all in all, my husband and I are another completely satisfied and thankful couple, that gives the HOB 5 stars in every category. We couldn't have dreamed up a better and more magical reception and it was truly the best night of our lives. Wonderful staff, beautiful venue, personalized light show, yummy food, amazing sound system, awesome energy and no issues!
I agree whole-heartedly with the other reviews! We were debating between 2 venues in Cleveland. We decided on the HOB because Rachel was so friendly and we wanted a coordinator who would be nice to work with for a whole year...Rachel was always so quick to respond to our e-mails and questions. She is truly an asset to the House of Blues!
On the day of our wedding, everything was extremely organized for us. The bartenders and servers were all so nice to us and to our guests. The food there is absolutely amazing...the guests were all very happy!
The bridal party sat up on the stage of the main concert hall...we got to use the green room instead of the guest bathrooms! So cool! And before the wedding we were given the use of the Foundation Room bar...it was awesome! For an extra $50, the HOB put our names on the marquis out front...so great for pictures!
At the end of the night, Rachel had all of our stuff packed up and ready to transport...we didn't have to lift a finger!
I can't say enough good things about our day...my husband and I were so happy and it was perfect...we wouldn't change a thing!
I am still reeling from the amazingness that was our wedding! I was planning a rather offbeat wedding, and the planner, Rachel, took it all in stride. She was quick to respond to my emails and calls, always helpful, and patient to a fault with me and my million questions, my mother, my mother in law... I never had to worry about a thing. My crazy centerpieces got assembled, the lighting was perfect with just a quick description, the sound was AMAZING (my band and I performed), the food was amazing (and they personalized some things without a problem), and a million other things. The prices include everything, and it makes planning effortless, and truly affordable. But what sticks in my mind most of all is the service day of. Rachel, Terry, Mel, every server and bartender and chef, EVERYONE were amazing. Every need was attended to, every question or problem answered, every need met. Amazing. I can't say enough. Have your wedding here, and be spoiled like the rockstar you are!
Wow, wow, wow. Where to start? First off, Rachel Rosen and the entire staff at the HOB Cleveland are amazing. From day one there was a line of open communication, which was so helpful especially when I got confused with contract language. Anytime I had a question or concern about anything Rachel was so quick to respond and always friendly and very helpful. On the day of our wedding everything was perfect. I would not have changed a single thing. The food was plentiful, hot, and delicious! All of my guests complimented me on how tasty everything was. The service staff was so friendly and hardworking making sure that not only my husband and I was taken care of, but all of our guests were as well. The bartender, awesome!!! He even took the time to learn everyone's drinks and was very generous with the pours. We opted to have our Ipod play music, which was no problem in the venue. The HOB has a whole sound set up and even lighting as well. I was very pleasantly surprised when we started dancing the sound/light tech turned on a disco ball and also some cool lights and lasers. Such a fun night, and such an amazing venue. Another bonus is that the Cambridge Room is beautifully decorated so minimal decorations are needed. I recommend having plenty of time for pictures because in and around the venue the possibilities are endless. I wish I could do it all over again.
Rachel and her staff at the House of Blues were EXCELLENT. We were swept from place to place by an incredibly accommodating staff who kept a drink in our hands. (I didn't have to go to the bar ONCE). We had the entire venue for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Mel moved us and our party to where we needed to be without rushing us. It was a seamless night. House of Blues DEFINITELY knows how to run an event. They took all of the stress and worry so we didn't have to! Amazing!
After seeing the venue, we knew this was exactly where we wanted to have our reception. We met with Rachel who worked with us throughout the process, and it was flawless. They took care of everything and were the easiest vendor to work with. Rachel was great about getting back to us ASAP whenever we had questions and they worked with us to get us exactly what we wanted within our budget. The prices may seem high at first, but you get A LOT for the money. Our guests were raving about how awesome the venue and food were. The food is awesome and the drinks are great! I would recommend the HOB to anyone planning a wedding. I can't express how wonderful the experience was!
This is under wrong section....wedding venue! Great atmosphere and great service. I had so many of my guests comment on not only the venue, but how awesome the service was....and the food. Wow the food was awesome. Such a nice break from the traditional stuffy wedding venues. We had the ceremony and reception there and it was more than I could have asked for.
I cannot say enough about how wonderful the House of Blues was in planning and executing our wedding reception. From our first meeting with Rachel Rosen we knew that we were in great hands. Rachel was amazing to work with from start to finish and was always willing to answer any questions we had. She made great suggestions for us along the way but also had the attitude that “the sky was the limit” for whatever we wanted! Once the actual day arrived, all we had to do was show up. Rachel and the other HOB staff had already reached out to all of our vendors to make sure they were all set ahead of time. That was a huge relief to us when we were in the last few crazy days before the wedding. I almost cried when I walked into the main concert hall where our reception was held for the first time. It looked AMAZING. The setup and lighting was picture perfect. The night went flawlessly. The food was delicious and the servers and bartenders were so attentive to us and our guests. We hired a band for our wedding and the band members were commenting all night how great the sound system was to play on. We have had so many people call to tell us that hands down it was one of the best weddings and wedding venues they have ever been to. If you are looking for a unique venue in Cleveland look no further! I only wish we could find an excuse to throw an event there every year!!!
We were looking for the perfect spot to host 1/2 destination wedding and the other 1/2 a local wedding that was different. My husbands family is from Michigan so we needed to plan destination style, and with the Hyatt Arcade directly across the street it made it easy for the out of town guests. The local family thought it was great because the House of Blues offers vallet parking as an option and your guests to not have to spend time looking for parking downtown.
Food: Absolutely amazing. We went with the station style buffet that way you could get it all. We ended up having beef, chicken, ham, and fish and everyone raved about how great it was! Having the catering done at the same place as the reception kept the food fresh and hot.
Lighting/Sound: Our wedding was on the same night as a concert in the main hall (Our wedding was in the cambridge room); but unless you went in the lobby you could not hear a single peep from the concert, only our DJ. We used Packy and recommend him as he is very familiar with HOB already. They did lighting to the music and our wedding colors to change the mood.
** One thing I would like to mention is we have 2 - 90% blind guests at our wedding so lighting was a big deal because they have to have bright light to see figures. Rachel and her team was able to put spot lights on their tables to provide them with extra light light. It was extremely helpful.
Room/Decor - The room is beautifully decorated with fabric on the walls, they provide different colored table linens, statues and fire places. The chairs were matched to the room decor. No need to spend extra money on linen and chair cover rentals.
Service - was outstanding, they waited on us hand and foot you felt like royalty. especially with the bridal party and the girls. We got there early and they provided beverages and snacks and anything we needed they took care of. THey are quick to turn the room arround from ceremony to reception and you just cannot believe the way it looks when it's done!
The only thing I can say is they can do up to arround 100 people in the cambridge room but we only had 72 guests and it felt just right. Anything more would feel like you were stepping on others or you wouldnt have a dance floor. We wanted the space to dance!
Couldnt have asked for anything more!
Our ceremony and reception in the Cambridge Room at House of Blues Cleveland could not have been more perfect for us.
From the very start, the staff was extremely helpful and truly dedicated to making sure all our desires for our big day were met. For me, Rachel was a sounding board, source for inspired ideas and guide. She was very involved from the start, which in essence kept me on schedule with all the planning. The entire staff that was there the day of our wedding was amazing. From helping to bustle my dress to repairing the matron-of-honor’s shoe right before we were about to walk down the aisle, they couldn’t have done more for us.
The Cambridge Room was exactly what we wanted… intimate, ornate and different. The room functioned perfectly for both the ceremony and reception – in fact, I was amazed in the transformation it underwent during the one hour cocktail hour. The room is already so beautifully decorated, that we didn’t even see the need for flowers – saving us hundreds of dollars with the florist.
The food was excellent and, believe me, there was PLENTY of it. We had pre-wedding snacks for the bridal party in the Foundation Room, a wide array of cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres, plated appetizers and salad, the wonderfully prepared meal, desserts and cake – and then special request for a taco bar was probably overkill (but also so delicious and enjoyed by all the guests that it wasn’t at all regretted).
The bridal party LOVED having the Foundation Room as the pre-wedding staging area. It’s such a great place to just hang out, that it’s impossible to have any nervous energy. Plus, all our pictures look amazing because any space you choose is a great backdrop.
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the House of Blues Cleveland to any couple looking for a unique, customizable wedding experience topped with great service at a venue that your guests will love (and love to talk about).
We had our ceremony and reception in the Cambridge Room at the House of Blues. We loved the venue because it was so unique and the room was so beautiful. From the start of the planning process to the event day everything ran so smoothly. Rachel was amazing. She made herself available when we needed her, answered all questions in a timely process and didn't miss a single detail. We received so many compliments on the room, the food and the service. My grandmother was having denture problems that day and they went and got her a totally different meal in seconds, they accomodated my gluten free guests with no issues and I was never without a fresh drink! Our ceremony was seamless, Rachel and Mel even got the kids down the aisle!!! I would recommend the House of Blues to anyone for any event!
Where to I even begin to explain the AMAZING experience my husband and I had at the HOB. While Will and I were looking around for reception veneus, we realized there was no way we could have a reception in a hotel or at an event hall...it's just not US. We first met with Julie to take a look at the Music Hall. We knew in the first two minutes of being there that this was where we'd be celebrating with our friends and family. We both LOVE music and where better to incorporate that then at the HOB? Not only do they provide security for your event but the seller for us was the BAR!!! We are both bartenders and knew what we were looking for...no roll away cart that needs to be brought out during the reception. The Music Hall in the HOB has TWO amazing bars with great service! When Rachel took over from there for Julie she could not have been more helpful...every question or concern we had she answered. Since I've never planned a wedding....I had A LOT of questions and not once did Rachel hesitate to help me. She always went above and beyond to help us with any small or big detail (which were a lot lol) My husband and I wanted to play a big role in the decorating for the wedding so we provided our own chairs and centerpieces with a rental company. All of the details were taken care of with Rachel and also Mel (who was AMAZING!) We had specific music we wanted played and they took care of that too. Mel took care of all of the details with every delivery including flowers, cake, DJ equipment, band equipment, chairs, and centerpieces. Mel and Rachel took us through our run through the day before and they set up everything EXACTLY how we wanted and it all looked STUNNING! From the card box to our favors and specific table names to the guest book. The marquee with our names outside was VERY cool! We didn't have to worry about a thing....she even helped me with my SURPRISE groom's cake!!!! When we walked into the recpetion I could not have been more ecstatic with how GREAT it looked!! They got everything absolutely perfect. Throughout the night Rachel and Mel both played a hand with making sure the timeline ran correctly and they did a great job. We had an AMAZING plated dinner which would never fall under the category of "wedding food". The kitchen staff was so kind to also accomodate gluten free and vegan options for a few of our guests. The wait staff and bartenders were awesome and were always on top of making sure the bridal party was taken care of. Which by the way....what better than to have your entire bridal party on stage with you? How cool is that. We had a band that came on after the DJ played a few dance songs and they ROCKED!! We had just about all of our guests who we invited come, I think more so because they knew it would be an awesome time! Rachel even made a point to find me (on the dance floor of course!) and make sure we were happy with everything before she left for the evening. Mel helped us at the very end of the evening to wrap up some of the more important items we wanted to take with us..... cardbox :) They were also very kind to package everything we brought back up and hold onto for pick-up by our family on the following Monday. Every one of our guests said our wedding was the BEST reception they have even been to! I would LOVE to work with Mel and Rachel in the future for another event. Our wedding was amazing and I would not have changed a thing! Thank you HOB staff!!
When I started looking into reception locations, I didn’t even know the House of Blues was an option. I thought it could be an interesting venue and set up an appointment. Within the first ten minutes of the meeting with Rachel, I knew that HOB was the perfect location for our reception. Rachel was amazing to work with throughout the whole planning process. She was quick to respond to e-mails with all my questions and she made sure to keep the whole process moving along and keeping me on pace to get things done when they needed to happen. She also handled coordinating all the deliveries and set up with the various vendors we used for our music, photography, cake and flowers. When we did our final walk through the week before the reception, Rachel was so helpful in helping me nail down all the details and fully wrap my head around how everything was going to look. And on the day of the wedding, Rachel was there to make sure everything ran smoothly. She helped coordinate the timing on everything with the DJ and made sure we were where we needed to be at all the right times. She was so great and I wish I could work with her again sometime soon!
With regard to HOB in general, I could not have been happier. The food was amazing – everyone I talked to said it was the best “reception food” they’d ever had. Everything was gorgeous – from the table set up to the lighting and candles. The on-site technicians handled designing and setting up all the lighting in a way that would coordinate with our colors and make the space look amazing. And really, you can’t go wrong with a head table on a stage where so many awesome bands and performers have appeared over the years! HOB provides an amazing and unique location for your reception and I would definitely recommend it.
While walking downtown, I noticed bride and groom names on the marquee of the House of Blues and thought "There's simply nowhere on Earth I'd rather get married". Chris and I love life, music and our family, so what better place to celebrate our day than on the Main Stage of the Music Hall surrounded by everyone we love? But, honestly, when I saw the wedding package, at first, being a new bride, my fiance and I wavered. But, as I started pricing venues, seeing how much everything would cost, it smacked me in the face that it was still the PERFECT (yes, all caps perfect) venue for us. I never shoot for anything in my life to be perfect... I shoot for interesting. I think interesting is WAY COOLER. But, my wedding at the House of Blues was the coolest and most awesome version of PERFECT that I've ever experienced. That ANYONE who was there ever experienced. Everyone there said it was far and away the BEST, most unique and awesomely rockin wedding they've ever had the pleasure of attending. The bartenders were knowledgable, accomodating and a ton of fun! The cocktail hour was elegant and delicious. The staff saw my vision, and worked their BUTTS off to make it happen. From the event coordinator, to the bridal liason, to the production staff, the wait staff and valet... it could not have gone better. The food? OMG... HEAVEN! And, the Pictures?! So many places just inside the venue... and then there's Fourth Street Right there!!! Seriously, it was a dream. From day one, working with Rachel Rosen, she made it her job to make our day awesome. They walked around with walkie-talkies making sure everyone was in the right places and making sure we made all our que's. Making sure I sat down to eat. Making sure I was in the cake cutting area on time. Making sure I always had a glass of wine in my hand. Making sure everything was taken care of so that my fiance and I could have the times of our lives... which is what it's all about, isn't it? We are exuberantly in love... and wanted everyone to feel that in the air on the day of our wedding. The air was full of love that day. Love... and music. What a PERFECTLY AMAZING day.

Beth, you're a rockstar! :)
We couldn't have asked for a better establishment to host our wedding reception! It was unique to our style and absolutely unforgettable. Our wedding coordinator at the House of Blues did a fabulous job accommodating our needs. The food and the bar service were excellent. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding reception.
We JUST had our wedding here and the whole expeirece and staff and EVERYTHING was AMAZING. we could not have asked for a more perfect day. they kept to our time lines, kept our guests happy, were very helpful and as excited to be a part of our wedding as our family. we had access to everything from the foundation room to the green rooms..with staff members running around doing everything from hunting down our photographers, to getting drinks, relaying messages from my husband and I, (thanks mel and terry!) they made sure my dress looked perfectly fluffed before walking out on stage..and that i was holding my flowers low enough that everyone could see the front of my dress.. (julie!!) We had staff in charge and on top of things that we had not even thought of!! running to get family members for pictures when they weren't listening or wandered off.. I mean, they seriously were life savers that day. in hind sight I can see a lot of things that probably were going to go badly if we didn't have such a dedicated, sincere group of people at our back, and I am going to be forever thankful they were there. I honestly cannot say enough about how wonderful they were. They offered ideas on how to change our dinner plans around to fit our needs without any extra costs, adjusted open bar times and offered soultions to problems we were overwhelmed with. We were able to order personalised ticket master TICKETS for our save the dates, we had the oppertunity to sign our names to the wall of fame by the green rooms, and even have our names on the billboard out side! the cost was BEYOND reasonable per person and I can only hope that every HOB has the brilliant, amazing people we were lucky to have in cleveland.
The quality and service is top shelf. Beyond willing to work with you to make the wedding your own.
We had our reception at the House of Blues, Cleveland in the Cambridge room. Our main contact, Mike Detling, was great to deal with as was the rest of the HOB staff. The venue, food, sound techs, wait staff, bartenders, etc. were fabulous!
