We feel so lucky to have had Kelsey help us plan our wedding! She was incredible! I had attended very few weddings and felt very intimidated by planning a wedding. She answered all our questions and gave great suggestions. Kelsey was also super sweet! I was sad to say good bye to her at the end of our wedding! I really cannot imagine our day with her help. My husband and I felt that Kelsey and Danny both truly cared we had a memorable wedding day and were happy for us. On our actual wedding day it rained all day. Kelsey was so sweet and worked so hard to help keep the plan that we had agreed on. Thankfully it stopped raining right before we went to plan B! Our wedding was beautiful and we will always cherish it. I cannot thank the Hummingbird House enough for helping us have a beautiful start to our marriage!

finally found our venue. The gardens are truly breathtakingly beautiful. The trees offer great shade during cocktail hour and the reception hall is air-conditioned and gorgeous, which could also act as a nice "Plan B". Because of the stunning gardens, we felt like we saved a lot of money in the floral budget because of how naturally beautiful the venue was. It is so secluded, quaint and quiet. We felt like the whole world around us paused just for our wedding. The bridal suite and groom suite were very clean, organized, and the perfect size for both groups. It is such a special and charming place. What adds to it being so charming and special are the owners. While we didn't get to meet Danny's partner, we had several vendors talk very highly about the two. Danny was an absolute blessing. From the moment we met during our venue tour, to the grand exit on our wedding day, he was there for us ensuring we were taken care of. We hired him for the wedding planning service and decor set up which was the best decision we made. I can assure you that the service and personal touch that Danny offers is not found at any other local venue. He went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfection. As the bride, I was able to have an stress-free wedding day, trusting that Danny was taking care of everything. We feel honored to have been able to make our lifelong promise in such a beautiful space.

n we found Hummingbird House and Danny (who we also hired as our planner and helped us pick out all our vendors) we knew we had found 'the one'. The venue itself is breathtaking with its luscious gardens and twinkle lights strung between the trees, as well as the elegant white tented indoor reception space giving reprieve from unpredictable Texas summers/winters. Day of the wedding, Danny and his assistant had such a calm and cheerful demeanor and handled all of decor setup. We basically dropped off all our decor items in boxes the night before and they handled all of the setup as well as packing them back up for pickup the morning after. Danny and his assistant even rolled up their sleeves to help bustle my dress in between ceremony and reception (I had MANY buttons on my bustle that required four people to manage, it remains such a funny and unique memory of the day). We couldn't be happier with our experience. BOOK Hummingbird House for your magical garden wedding, you won't regret it!

The grounds were absolutely beautiful (despite several rainstorms the day of and the days leading up to the wedding [as well as the huge plant-killing freezes Austin has experienced the last few years]) and Danny and his team were great to work with. Also, would not hesitate to hire Danny again for the wedding coordination support. He made several calls throughout the night that improved the flow compared to what we originally planned.

Second, Danny (owner and our 30 day coordinator) was amazing! From the first message we sent through The Knot, to organizing and planning the wedding, to the actual day-of coordination, he was extremely responsive, professional, organized, and helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend doing at least the 30-day coordination as it took all of the stress away the day of and allowed us to enjoy our day. I could not recommend this venue enough; you will not regret getting married here!

to go around our unity candle bc it always gets blown out by the wind, and having food in the bridal suite for me and the groom to have a quick moment to stuff our face before the reception and appreciate what just happened. Also my parents were very excited about the wedding and had a billion questions all of which Danny helped with. The venue itself is also gorgeous. The gazebo, plants and love sign really made the perfect setting to get married. Also the glass air conditioned tent was so clutch for the reception. Cannot say enough about this venue or Danny, but I’m so glad we chose this venue!

He walked us through every detail, listened to our vision, and ran with it. I didn't have to worry or lift a single finger from 2pm on our wedding day until 11am the next day. You are fooling yourself if you don't get the coordinator package. EVERYTHING was taken care of - I showed up with boxes of decor and Danny did the rest. He set up everything, tore it down, and loaded it in my dad's truck so all we had to do was show up the next morning and drive away. INCREDIBLE. I've been to so many weddings where we have to set up the morning of, tear down the night of, etc. And every time I think to myself "I'm SO glad we had Danny...." He made sure both moms were happy also - which was a huge relief lol! Danny is a true professional, but also incredibly kind and generous. We felt like family! A huge part of our happiness and enjoyment of the day was in thanks to Danny and Hummingbird House - I cannot recommend them enough.

loved that there was so much space for guests to venture out into during the reception and how it didn’t confine guests to one space. The ceremony area is so gorgeous that we didn’t add many extra decorations. The AC in the reception area is the best touch during a summer wedding in Texas. Danny was our on-site manager and was the best and most fun to work with. He always met us with high energy, helpful suggestions and solutions. He was professional at all times and made our wedding vision come true. I would not change a thing about our special day being held at Hummingbird House.

The lush garden along with the gorgeous indoor reception space with windows top to bottom was exactly what a bride like me needed. I know the trend is barns but if you’re like me and don’t see the appeal of barns, check out Hummingbird! It has a couple of chandeliers with tent shaped draped with windows top to bottom. It was all a dream! I just want to go back and relive it!

specially wonderful the day of! The venue was absolutely gorgeous and they were very accommodating when we needed some extra time last minute and come in earlier to get ready. If you’re looking for a gorgeous photo backdrop, this is the place for you- every inch of the grounds is covered in beautiful florals, lush greenery, and charming antiques. 10/10!

when Courtney gave us a tour, I started crying because it was so perfect. Leading up to the day, Courtney was a great communicator, mostly on email. I'd have tons of random questions and she knew how to answer them (she knew what I was asking, even if I wasn't very clear!). Her energy and smarts are both amazing and great to deal with. Our caterer had worked at and with the Hummingbird House, which was a relief as well. I know they did a lot of communicating without us, and I'm very okay with that. We got so many compliments on the venue. It really is just perfect. The bridal suite was a great place for me and m'ladies to get ready, and the groom got to have a great set up as well, which was later used as the babysitting room. As a bride, I was glad I still had access to the bridal suite for bathroom breaks and even a little quiet time before the dancing started. We did most of our getting ready at a friend's house, but this set up was so great to have. Yeah, the place is not cheap (but really, what is when the word "wedding" is in front of it?), but I can't stress enough how beautiful and magical the place is.

st perk of all is the onsite coordinator, Courtney! You have to hire her. Her entire focus is on the bride and groom. She will do whatever it takes to make you happy! She is so detailed, will manage the vendors and respond to questions immediately. You would seriously be making a mistake if you don’t hire her!

Not only are the gardens absolutely stunning, but the sounds of nature (water fountains running, birds chirping, wind rustling the trees, the smell of the flowers) make you feel like you’re in a fairytale. Speaking of fairytales, our coordinator Courtney was like a fairy godmother (but much younger ;)) Anything we needed, she was there to help out. From the get-go she was so attentive and responded to all of my messages so quickly! On the day of the wedding, she was AMAZING! Even my guests came up to me to compliment how smoothly Courtney made things run. My family and I absolutely adore her!! Thank you Courtney for being so awesome!!

Danny is amazing and was very easy to work with during the booking process and Courtney was ridiculously helpful in the lead-up to the wedding and on the actual day. The location is great and they'll even let the guests leave their vehicle at the venue overnight if they've had one too many. I highly recommend Hummingbird House for your wedding!

One of our favorite parts of the entire package was bad was an add-on package.. rather, our coordinator, Courtney. Oh, she was superwoman. She was our right hand from start to finish on our perfect day, and because of it, we were able to enjoy the commaderie around us. We were so in the moment because of her behind-the-scenes ninja skills. Seriously, this place is perfect. The manager Danny and Courtney are perfect. I will always recommend.

The actual best part is Courtney. She’s super helpful and knowledgeable. Danny was also very helpful when we toured during an open house. The venue is moderately priced, and a bargain for having such a seamless day.

Courtney and Danny were another reason we chose the venue, we clicked right away and knew we wanted to work with them. Not only was Courtney extremely helpful, organized and accommodating, she was so much fun to work with and we were so sad when the entire planning process was over with because she made it so easy and fun :) Also, every guest that walked onto the venue could not believe how gorgeous the grounds were. It was everything we could have imagined and more. You would be crazy to look any further, I can promise you that!

hotos!To start with it has both indoor and outdoor options which you Truely appreciate when forecast starts showing rain. We lucked out and it didn’t rain on our wedding day. But Hummingbird House staff made both options available in case if ceremony needed to be inside. We had the ceremony and cocktail outside, the reception was inside the pavilion. The bridal suite is absolutely amazing and groom’s suite is spacious as well. There is plenty of parking for your guests and if people prefer ride share, they can find a ride in less than 5-10 mins. All our guests complimented on how gorgeous our wedding venue was. Danny and Courtney are great people to work with too. We absolutely recommend it to couple who want a fancy indoor/outdoor wedding.

Hiring her as the day of coordinator to work with all of the vendors was the best decision we could have made. She was Wonder Woman for us! Thank you all again for making it such a special day. The venue speaks for itself - we visited in January for our November 2017 wedding, and the gardens were still lush with greenery and the grounds were just beautiful even in the middle of winter. You feel like this space was made for you and your family and friends! On the first visit Danny also included contact information for local vendors that they have worked with in the past that they love. So helpful since we were planning from out of town! In the weeks leading up to our wedding Courtney helped iron out the details and coordinate with the vendors for setup and timeline. We met the week before at the venue so that the day of the rehearsal and wedding went off without a hitch! Day-of, she helped as our coordinator to greet vendors, make sure everything was setup beautifully and remind us where we needed to be and when so we could focus on our friends and family! Our guests have raved about how beautiful the gardens and pavilion were. Hummingbird House creates the best environment for a wedding, with something for everyone. The ceremony space is gorgeous and doesn't need decoration, the pavilion is fun throughout the reception for those that want to dance, and the lawn provides a fun place for people to catch up in a quieter setting or play lawn games. Our wedding day is one we will never forget! Can't thank y'all enough.

The LOVE wall was the perfect place for our "first look" photos.
