We are very thankful for Huyen and her team to making sure our wedding day went smoothly. We had a relatively fast turnaround time for our wedding from planning to execution (~ 8months), but she was able to help us navigate through the process by having very regular meetings and having a lot of vendor contacts for whatever services we requested. She was also very communicative and willing to work around our schedules, even if that sometimes meant late night meetings. We are very grateful for everything she did and the effort she put into our big day.
Words cannot describe how amazing Huyen is as a wedding planner.
We stumbled upon Huyen when another wedding planner we had thought about hiring just did not work with our schedule. Upon our first consultation meeting with Huyen, which happened on a Sunday, we knew she would be the perfect full time wedding planner for us. She is flexible with her times and her ability to meet outside of business hours was something we needed. We also were completely clueless about the wedding planning process, and Huyen was able to give us options to pick from for all of our vendors, who all went above & beyond for our wedding. Huyen is easy to work with and super knowledgeable about what she does, and most of all, she knew exactly what expectations are often involved in Asian weddings and was able to predict everything we would have questions about. She is organized and always on top of everything.
Huyen also found ways to help her save some money from picking up DIY projects for our wedding, and helped us create these lovely menus. But she didn't just create one menu--she created 20 variations (!!!)--4 kinds of papers with 5 different colors of ribbon, so that we could choose our favorite.
On the day of the wedding, Huyen and Layla were nothing short of perfect. Despite having some last minute issues, Huyen worked it out and I as the bride never knew as she wanted to keep it stress-free for me. As a type A person being without a watch/phone for the day and not having any sense of time, it was terrifying, but I was so glad to be able to fully trust in Huyen & Layla and let her guide us along the day. Layla also helped me out multiple times with wardrobe malfunctions and packed everything up for us and brought it to my car at the end!
We are so grateful for Huyen and Layla and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner or day of coordinator. We have already been letting all of our friends & family know! She is worth it even if she charged us double or triple what she did! She is simply the best.

Growing up in Houston, I knew at an early age I thrive in high-stress situations. The people who know me best would say I have thick skin and I'd tell them it's a quality built from my great sense of humor. I started volunteering as a wedding coordinator for Holy Rosary church and shortly realized that not only do I enjoy doing it, but I am proud to be good at it. It was intended as a hobby and I turned it into a profession.
I am someone who works relentlessly and will not sleep until the job is done. I understand that wedding planning can be an incredibly daunting, new, and frightening. This is when my years of expertise will swoop in. With my wide net of connections and collection of vendors to choose from, I can assure you that your vision (BIG OR SMALL) will become my top priority. I specialize in Asian weddings, but I am no stranger to any culture or theme. Fancy, modern, rustic, industrial, fairy-tale, eco-friendly - I've done them all.
