Working with Christian Crocker could not have been a better experience. Despite all of the last minute changes due to the pandemic, she worked with us every step of the way to ensure our guests had a great place to stay. She was attentive to personal detail and even left a sweet note and champagne in the bridal suite. The location of this hotel is also perfect! I would 100% recommend this venue for anyone who is looking for a room block for their out of town guest!
Best wedding ever! Caitlin and her entire staff are flawless. Caitlin is easy to communicate with and goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect! I got married in the garden courtyard and had my reception in DH HOLMES-- such an easy flow for out of town guests. This hotel has the best staff. BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE!!

I could go on forever about our wedding experience with Hyatt Centric. I was an out of town bride and Caitlin was helpful to answer every question and address any concern through the planning process. Everything was done via email and a few phone conversations and it all turned out perfectly. The service from Caitlin(event manager) and Justin(food and beverage manager) was perfect. I didn't eat much, but every guest raved about the food being the best they've ever had at a wedding. I highly recommend choosing the suite as your room for the duration of your stay. I have a few nit picks but NONE worth mentioning. Any concern/issue was addressed immediately which by far was the best feeling. Reception end we couldn't find our late night bride/groom hamburger gifted meal (the tray was hidden behind all of the wedding decor that had been brought up to our room after the burgers). I was one angry and starving bride!! After sending a grumpy email...I was sending an email with talk to text the moment we found the burgers and the subject line ended up as "Sandy Beaches". I guess that's what I said when I found the burger tray. My husband and I will forever remember the moment we found the burgers behind all of the wedding junk. Definitely a night to remember! Thanks to Hyatt Centric staff for making it perfect.
We are so happy we chose to have our ceremony & reception at the Hyatt Centric! We had the wedding of our dreams and owe a lot to the Hyatt staff and especially the Event Coordinator - Caitlin. Throughout our 11 months of planning, Caitlin and the Hyatt was prompt, responsive, and accommodating whenever we had questions or wanted to stop by the venue. Caitlin went above and beyond her duties to make sure we had thought about every detail of our wedding and it was executed PERFECTLY! Our guests loved their stay at the Hyatt, too! The hotel is so beautiful - with great food and sights only steps away! Also, the perks you get for hosting your wedding at the Hyatt (Cheeseburgers at midnight, Hyatt points, etc.) were just a cherry on top! The outdoor ceremony space is one of the most beautiful spaces I have ever seen and was perfect for our 100 person wedding. Thank you to the Hyatt Centric and Caitlin for making our wedding PERFECT!!
We booked the Hyatt French Quarter in October of 2014. We held both our ceremony and reception at the Hotel in May (Memorial Day weekend) of 2016. We worked with coordinators Vera and Caitlin and they were both nothing short of AMAZING!!!!!! Our entire experience, from the staff, the rooms, the location of the hotel, the food, the setup of the ballroom, etc. was absolutely PERFECT! My Groom and I visited about 6 different venues. We had our heart set on one particular location in the quarter. Until we walked into the Hyatt French Quarter. It just "felt" right, and we were so right about our choice! We were treated like VIPs during every planning experience up to our our wedding weekend. Our guests were treated extremely well and everyone had the best time. Our guests are STILL, and we assume will always swoon over how amazing the food was. I just can't brag enough on everything about this hotel and how wonderful the experience was. We will always stay at this hotel when we visit the Quarter for future visits.
My sister and I love staying at the Hyatt French Quarter for our annual Jazz Fest trips and so when I was planning my destination wedding in New Orleans I was very excited to have a room block there and have my friends and family stay at a wonderful and beautiful hotel. All of our guests loved staying there! Even better, they hosted our Sunday brunch the morning after the wedding. We held it in Batch, their hotel lobby bar, from 9 to 11 a.m. before the bar opened. We had a great brunch spread and literally the most amazing bloody mary bar I have ever seen. It was fantastic working with Vera and Caitlin to set up the hotel block and delicious brunch! I would absolutely recommend the hotel for a visit or an event!
Absolutely stunning!!!!!! If you want prime New Orleans location for your wedding this is your place! Right in the heart of it all- we had our own separate entrance on to Canal street during the reception. The hotel has everything mapped out for you from chairs linens to lighting. Amazing food and more than willing to accommodate everyone's taste buds. You have your own day of coordinator that helps you along the way with everything and our wedding weekend the entire hotel staff was than than accommodating to all the guests. All of our guests were from out of town and had loved every minute in the Big Easy.
Vera was incredible! The hotel was renovated and looks amazing. My wedding went off without a hitch! I did not have any problems with the entire process and when anything was questionable it was taken care of without a second thought. Thank you so much for making our day smooth and memorable!
Searching for a wedding venue can be very stressful and time consuming. We knew we wanted a New Orleans wedding in November. After doing our homework and visiting a few options we went to see what Hyatt French Quarter had to offer. We never looked back. From the moment we pulled into valet and walked into the lobby the hospitality overwhelmed us. Sales coordinator, Vera Faucheux, made the Hyatt love at first sight! She made it feel like home and instantly gained our trust. From linens of your dreams and food that will make your mouth water, Vera and the Hyatt will pamper you as a Bride and Groom. They not only met our expectations but exceeded them. We had our ceremony and reception at the hotel. This is great because there is no need to worry about transportation. Even if you want to be a tourist, the street car is right outside the hotel. We had inside and outside options available for our ceremony. I didn't worry about a thing on my wedding day. I just knew what time I needed to walk down the aisle. Vera took care of the rest. Our wedding day was PERFECT.
From the moment we called about this venue, we were blown away by Vera's helpfulness and willingness to make our wedding just what we wanted. Vera answered all of my emails, calls, frantic questions etc and gave me multiple options for how i could get costs down or look at alternatives for certain things. We used the outdoor area for our ceremony and it was beautiful! It ALMOST got rained out but we went with it and everything cleared up. I did not like the indoor space because you had to walk through guest hallways to get to the atrium. The reception was in the ballroom and gave us lots of room for 120 people. The drinks were awesome. I did not really taste much of the food unfortunately :[ My only problem was the traffic/parking associated with the hotel since its on Iberville and Bourbon (it gets a little backed up) so be sure to tell your guests to leave early! The bridal suite was SO huge (totally wasnt expecting that) and the amentities and personal touches that Vera put into our wedding day was awesome. She even made us a mini-smores station for our bridal table since she knew i loved smores :]
Firsts things first, Vera is fabulous! My wedding at the Hyatt French Quarter was everything I could have every imagined. From the time I checked in to the time I checked out I was constantly asked "Is there anything I can do for you." The entire staff from the bartenders to the servers were the up-most professional and truly made our experience wonderful. The decor was beautiful, lighting was dead on and food was delicious. I could not imagine my day anywhere else. I thank the Hyatt French Quarter team for making sure my day was what I have always dreamed of. If you are still looking for your venue, please do not miss the opportunity to work with such wonderful people. Happy Planning! -Mrs. Ignash
If you are getting married in New Orleans, don't look anywhere else. Pick the Hyatt FQ. Vera Faucheux their event coordinator is phenomenal. She is easy to work with, listens to requests and quickly resolves any issues if they arise. I've heard brides say wedding planning is the hardest part, but Vera made this an easy and wonderful experience. She is professional and prompt. I love her!!
Every inch of the hotel is gorgeous and the location is perfect! The food and drinks are delicious. I don't have a single complaint. I'm incredibly picky and occasionally have ridiculous standards. I've been to several luxury hotels in NYC and Honolulu. None compare to the amazing service and kindness we and our guests received.
Worth every penny!
We (MOB & FOB) hosted a brunch in the Batch Bar on Sunday morning following the wedding. This venue was a fabulous space, bright, open and airy. A perfect space that allowed our 100+ guests to mingle and catch-up on all the moments enjoyed over the wedding weekend. The food did not disappoint; true NOLA taste, beautifully displayed and they kept it coming until everyone was filled-up. ALL of the staff were totally friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend that you check them out for any aspect of your wedding. And on another note, the guest rooms are big and beautiful with really high ceilings. They also have a pool, which hotels in the area don't have.
We booked about 10 months ahead of time. I had several venues picked to tour and used Hotwire to book a hotel. When we got the Hyatt for our hotel, I decided to schedule a tour there as well. From the very first phone call, Vera was amazing. She answered all of my questions and was so welcoming and friendly. We toured the Hyatt first and we were blown away. The rest of the tours we did that day were a waste of time. The Hyatt was the perfect place for us! (it was also the venue with the most bang for our buck - but that was definitely not the deciding factor!)
The planning process was so smooth. Unfortunately, my father passed away 30 days before our wedding. Vera, was The MOST AMAZING wedding/catering coordinator/Manager I could ever ask for. (I'm not sure of her official title and would hate to use the wrong one, so we'll just call her WONDERFUL!) She was extremely patient with me during a most difficult time for me and during a time for her where preparations must be made. This was truly one of the most bittersweet times of my life, but Vera helped make it more sweet than bitter.
We were married in the atrium and it was absolutely beautiful! I couldn't have asked for anything else.
The food was awesome and the staff (at the wedding and throughout the entire weekend) was amazing. The attention to detail and anticipation of anything we could possibly need was exceptional.
The front desk staff was exceptional. Derek (I'm pretty sure that was his name) was a great help! There were several others that I cannot remember their names but gave us service far beyond anything we could have ever asked for!
If you're there in the summer, go see Chuck at the pool bar! He was the best! He made all of our guests feel like family and gave us the royal treatment!
I could not have asked for more. I wouldn't want to get married anywhere else!
Hyatt French Quarter is a great place to have an authentic French Quarter-style wedding. As a New Orleans native, I wanted my wedding to show my culture through the ambiance, food, etc. Hyatt French Quarter did just that!
We had our ceremony and reception at the Hyatt French Quarter in October of 2014. We looked at 9 venues in 2 days and the Hyatt stood out from the beginning. From the minute you walk into the front lobby you feel special and that treatment never stops. We accidently left the top tier of our cake in their freezer and one of the front desk workers who lived nearby delieverd it to our house! Vera was our wedding coordinator(and the main reason we decided on this venue) and I will never be able to say enough about her. From our first phone conversation to the wedding day she had every detail covered and took so much stress off of me. She goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect. They also allow only one wedding per weekend so there wasn't any competition for space or another reception going on in the next room. This was a destination wedding for my family so we loved that everything was within walking distance and no one had to rent cars because there was a shuttle service from the airport. I highly recommend this venue!
My husband and I got married at the Hyatt November 15th 2014. Vera Faucheux was amazing. Vera and her staff went above and beyond to make sure everything from the decorations to the food was perfect. My husband and I were so happy with everything, we couldn't have asked for more. Our friends and family are still talking about how perfect everything was. I would recommend this location to anybody!!
My husband and I were very pleased with Vera Faucheax and all the staff that helped make our day special. Vera went above and beyond all expectations. Any request that we had she made sure to find the best price and figure a way to incorporate it into our wedding. Vera is very helpful and accommodating. Our wedding was amazing and I could not have asked for anything better. She walks you through every decision to make sure that you feel comfortable. Even after our wedding, she continued to check with us. I feel very pleased and blessed that we had Vera helping us during the process. I highly recommend The Hyatt French Quarter.
We did go back and stay at the Hyatt French Quarter for our one year anniversary. Of course, Vera again surprised us with excellent service.
I had my wedding reception here on May 24, 2014, and everything was fantastic! When I was searching for reception vendors, Vera was the first person to call me back. She was very helpful and easy to work with!
I had a lot of out of town wedding guests. It was very convenient to have a block of rooms reserved for the guests at the same hotel the reception was located at.
The venue was beautifully decorated. Also, many of my guests raved that the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding!
My husband and I were married in Nov. 2013 at the Hyatt French Quarter's outdoor patio. First off, it's a beautiful space that required little additional decoration, and it served as an ideal spot for our 75 guests. Vera was great to work with, and even helped us position our brass band for our second line downstairs to meet guests as soon as the ceremony ended.
A truly great venue with a helpful, responsive and pleasant staff!
Vera was one of the first vendors to call me back right away and right off the back she was amazing. I planned my wedding while I was in Florida and made one trip to finalize everything. We got married in the Atrium and then had our reception downstairs. Everything was so beautiful, the food was amazing and the staff was the best.
We had our wedding during June inside the beautiful atrium. The setup and sun peaking through the glass ceiling on to the dark wood inside was beautiful. The hotel was remodeled and offered a very elegant yet modern feel. The pictures of the wedding inside the hotel (atrium, lobby, reception) were outstanding. Vera Faucheux, our Wedding Coordinator, was extremely kind and patient answering every question and guiding us along the way. She had tips for inexpensive add-ons that greatly enhanced the look and feel or the wedding. The food, presentation and taste, was above and beyond anything we could have imagined. We received many compliments about the wedding from the food to the venue and we would like to thank everyone at the Hyatt. If you pick this venue you definitely will not be disappointed!!
I held my small wedding and reception at the Hyatt French Quarter and loved it. We planned for an outdoor wedding in the courtyard but unfortunately had rain. So we moved it indoors to the atrium. The lighting in the atrium was absolutely beautiful... soft light from outside and plenty of candles around the room to give a beautiful warm glow.
