I will preface this with the fact that at the end of the day our wedding day at the Hyatt was flawless and an absolute dream. So many of our guests were so impressed by everything, the cocktail hour space, the reception room, and most importantly the food. The biggest issue I had was the planning with them. When we signed our contract we partly signed because the event coordinator that was handling everything was SO amazing. Unfortunately, about 7 or 8 months before our wedding, she took another position elsewhere, and that’s when everything went downhill. We went in for our tasting and only the manager was available, the tasting itself was great, but almost none of the details that discussed during that time were passed on to the coordinate, so we had to then go over everything we talked about for a second time. Also, the new coordinator was so unresponsive we got an extra meal on our menu because they didn’t respond to my at least 4 emails for at least 4 weeks and I decided not to wait to hear back about my meal questions and just sent out the invitations with 3 meal options instead of 2. Then this coordinator decided to move locations, so we were then passed to a third coordinator. I will say personally I really liked this coordinator, but nothing got easier from here. Again, barely any of our previously discussed details were not passed on and there was still a huge struggle with timely communication. This time a lot of the issues were on the Hyatt because our new coordinator was clearly overworked and was not given the appropriate support. When the planner took over, she also had these issues. Then there were SO many issues with the bakery they had outsourced for our cake it was insane. I will say I’m a perfectionist when it came to planning so that may have heightened my issues but the Hyatt added so much extra stress while planning during the last couple of months it almost completely wipes out the fact that the day of was flawless.

We worked with Robyn from Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor throughout the 14 months of planning of our wedding since initial contact with venue. Even with COVID-19 shutdown and restrictions she still made sure there was communication and execute the wedding day. She was always professional and listened to all our concerns. We felt like the Hyatt Regency staff worked effectively and safely. They put in all measures possible to still have a small wedding of 31 people. Guests made wonderful compliments about the staff from the doorman, check in staff, and staff involved in the rehearsal dinner and wedding day. Robyn worked effectively with all our vendors and made accommodations as needed. We felt like Robyn and the rest of the Hyatt Regency staff truly made our wedding weekend special and run smoothly.

Emailed them twice, called them all to just request information. They never got back to me- I couldn't imagine planning a wedding here when getting any information from this place is a struggle.
There are plenty of other hotels in Baltimore that have been more than helpful, this venue does not seem to want business.

I'm sorry I'm going to be a downer on this. We did not get married here but we were wedding venue hunting. We really wanted to have our wedding here but the spokes person Paula did not sell us. She also did not agree with our guest count and kept telling us repeatedly to cut it down. We would request things such as the parents have a slight upgraded room and she basically told us 'that's not happening.' She showed us the ball room and ceremony place after she wanted to discuss the money part. It did not feel like she cared about our special day. request

The Hyatt Regency Baltimore was the absolute best venue for our wedding day! When my fiance and I started touring venues, we fell in love with the Pisces Room on the top floor - it was so unique and modern, and had incredible views of the city. We just knew that it was the right choice, and would be the perfect fit for day and our guests. Our first wedding coordinator was Lindsey, and she was so great to work with from the start. She made us feel super special in our first meeting and even had a photo of the two of us set up with little treats and champagne. She was super responsive throughout the year of planning, and always quick to answer any questions we had. Lindsey ended up having a due date for her baby the week of our wedding (of course!).. but that didn't turn out to be an issue at all! We met Robyn during our food tasting in October (wedding in January), and Lindsey got Robyn up to speed on everything. PS - the food tasting was such a nice experience and we loved every bit of it!! Robyn took over in the weeks leading up to the wedding and she too was just as responsive and quick to respond to all of the questions. I was so happy to get to work with both of these ladies!
Our day came so quickly, and everything went so smoothly. Most of the guests stayed at the hotel, and were so happy with their rooms and service. My bridesmaids and I had a get-ready suite, and the groomsmen all got ready in our hotel room. Robyn checked in with me as soon as I checked in to the hotel the night before. She also checked in throughout the day to make sure everything was running smoothly. The Hyatt also totally set up the reception room and made sure everything looked perfect with all of the random items I had given them. We got to do our first look photos on the roof which was PERFECT for photos with great views. The hotel is also in a great location to get photos around the harbor. I really have nothing bad to say about our experience with the Hyatt - it was the perfect!

We held off a year to make sure that we could have our wedding at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore. From the first day we had a walk through until our wedding night, we had WONDERFUL people working with us. Our coordinator was Lindsey, and she was just fantastic. She was kind, sweet, funny, and kept me calm any time I started to stress out about details. She worked with us through the year and a half we planned our wedding.
I was able to bring in my wedding decorations early of the wedding week and Lindsey stored them for me. I also gave the Hyatt full decorating power with the supplies I brought in, and they did not disappoint us! All of our guests were "wow"-ed by our room (Pieces Room, 15th floor with an amazing inner harbor view) and had a great time partying. We had about 70 guests, and it was the perfect space for everyone to dance, and also relax.
Our wedding day turned out even better than we had imagined, and it was thanks to the Hyatt. Even when weather was an issue they were in full force moving everything into their atrium for a beautiful ceremony location.

The Hyatt is a beautiful location to have a wedding - from the modern ballroom, to the Pisces restaurant on the top floor, to the fantastically equipped guest rooms, to the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. Overall, we had a great experience from the Hyatt, despite a few, slight mishaps. The only thing I was majorly disappointed by was the fact that, though we had discussed it with our event coordinator, our guest place settings did not include wine glasses or champagne glasses. Therefore, our guests did not have champagne during our toasts and the place settings at the tables looked a little bare and empty. This mishap was made slightly better by having the staff acknowledge their mistake.

I had my wedding at the Hyatt on Sept 22 of this year. I used the roof deck for my ceremony and then the second floor for our cocktail hour. We had our reception on the 15th floor. The room is beautiful. One whole wall is glass windows that overlook the inner harbor. I worked with Shelley Bullock and she did a great job. You just have to know what you want and she will make it happen. I had a great experience. I would highly recommend this venue. The price is a higher than other places but you get what you pay for.

The Hyatt did a great job catering & hosting our cocktail hour and reception. The views of the harbor from the Pisces room on the top floor are amazing, and the ballroom is modern and spacious. Our cocktail hour appetizers were especially tasty. The only downside is that we had previously arranged for an afterparty after our dinner/dancing reception, and despite warning staff that it would probably get loud, they brushed off concerns until the afterparty itself. But, the staff seemed to do their best, and we had a blast!

The Hyatt offered everything we were looking for in a wedding venue - great room, great food, great service. All of our guests were traveling so it was nice to have everything take place at the hotel. The location was also perfect, as our guests could easily entire Baltimore's Inner Harbor.

We chose the Pisces rooftop room at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore as our wedding venue/caterer because of its amazing view of the harbor and outstanding cuisine. They lived up to our expectations as they saw to every detail. The food presented beautifully was a treat for the palate and the eyes, and we absolutely loved having such a stunning view as the backdrop for our reception. We just thought the communication with our planner prior to our function could have been more efficient and given us more peace of mind.

The venue is beautiful and is in an ideal location especially if you have a lot of out of town guests. If you choose this hotel make sure you have a strong advocate for you (aka Wedding Planner with Experience). The hotel was extremely difficult to work with and has a lot of turnover with the management. This hotel is geared toward meetings and conventions and not necessarily weddings. Multiple conventions and meetings may be held during your wedding if you do not have language written in your contract. Read all of the fine print and make sure you get everything in writing even if it seems like a basic requirement. We had 3 different coordinators because of turnover and each ensured different items. Everything worked out thanks to my wonderful wedding planner but if I had left the wedding to the Hyatt, it would have been a completely different day and most likely very disappointing due to their terrible service.
