We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue than the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino for our wedding! The location is absolutely gorgeous—right on the lake with stunning views that made our special day truly unforgettable. Lounging on the beach is amazing, and the pier bar is a great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. Every person we interacted with was amazing, and Caity and Brittany were especially fantastic to work with. They were organized, accommodating, and made us feel so comfortable throughout the planning process. As a same-sex couple, we appreciated how welcoming and inclusive they were. From the planning to the big day, the entire experience was seamless, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue. Highly recommend this beautiful spot for any special occasion!

We had planned a wedding at the Hyatt Incline Village this year, and unfortunately, they decided to pull the rug out from under us and canceled our wedding.
We meticulously planned every detail of this significant day and paid deposits to all our vendors. We were aware of the potential for the Hyatt to undergo renovations since Larry Ellison's purchase, but they assured us in writing that these renovations wouldn't commence until 2024. Regrettably, they failed to honor this promise and chose to cancel our wedding plans, moving the remodel date up to 2023. This unexpected change was profoundly distressing and created significant challenges for us.
What exacerbated the situation was the manner in which we learned about the cancellation. One of our vendors informed us of the impending cancellation before the Hyatt officially communicated it to us. This lack of transparent communication added to our frustration.
The most disappointing aspect was that the Hyatt ultimately did not proceed with the remodel in 2023, leaving us to wonder whether we could have held our wedding there as originally planned.
Our experience with the Hyatt Incline Village as a wedding venue was marked by unmet promises and a lack of transparent communication. We hope future couples considering the Hyatt Incline Village will receive better communication and service.

Contacted them recently, only got a generic answer and when I asked them questions I was ignored. Anyway, I'm not saying you shouldn't have your wedding here, just don't expect a response to your inquiry.

We fell in love with the Hyatt Lake Tahoe when we first toured it in June 2019. It was the first venue we looked at and by the end of a day of looking at venues, we knew nothing could compete and we booked it for our June 21, 2020 wedding.
From the day we booked it on, working with the Hyatt was wonderful. We had a dedicated wedding planner assigned to us, which really helped keep everything organized (Shout out to Jennell!) from food tastings to planning meetings, we really saw our dream wedding coming to life. From things like Jennell working with us for a custom pasta dish that I had my heart set on, to helping us plan signature drinks, Jennell was key to bringing everything together.
It was great to email with her and the team, and they kept me on track with deliverables, such as table charts and room arrangements. Jennell took care of working with the vendors the day of and making sure the whole event (from planning, to rehearsal, to the wedding) was seamless. She offered great recommendations for our guests around town for wedding weekend, and truly seemed invested in us having a great time. She was a calming force!
All that to say our wedding changed drastically about six weeks before because of COVID. The Hyatt was very flexible in helping us make many many many last minute modifications to ensure that our guests were safe and that our family was financially comfortable with the pricing given the changes. We moved the wedding from the ballroom to the outside cottage green (behind our ceremony) and cut the dance floor. They worked with us to still allow plated meals, since I really did not want buffet. They put up (cute) social distancing signage and sanitizing stations. The employees wore masks and it really felt safe. They worked with us to set up tiny tables for the reception for two and three guests to a table. They really did everything to make sure our wedding could be as close to our dream as possible.
I really would not wish a covid wedding on anyone. That being said—I am so very thankful to have chosen the Hyatt as our venue. They helped us through the whole process and I felt very confident they would take care of us: and they did. Thank you!

Selecting the Hyatt Regency- Lake Tahoe as our Wedding Venue was the best decision! We booked it over the phone without seeing it in person. However, the Hyatt Wedding Coordinator Jennell made the Wedding Planning process a breeze. She was the biggest blessing. She helped my mother and I plan every single detail throughout the entire year while living states away. We are so incredibly thankful to have worked with her.
According to our guests, the food was hands down the most delicious food they've had at a Wedding Reception. My Husband and I could not agree more. The views from the reception were unreal! The renovated ballroom was white, clean, bright and airy. Our wedding package included beautiful decorations which we loved. It was a dream come true!

We decided on a non-winter wedding up in Lake Tahoe as we did not want our friends and family to suffer through chain control. There were a few venues we were considering on the lake, but the responsiveness of Caity truly made the decision easy for us and we signed with the Hyatt. The venue books out quite early, but there was still some weekend availability for us to choose from and we were not picky about the date.
Leading up to the day, communication started tapering off as there were long gaps where there was little for us to do. We understood that our assigned events coordinator, Mackenzie, is extremely busy with weddings throughout the year and didn't mind the delay. You either need to be patient or remember to follow-up! The Hyatt offers a complimentary tasting before the wedding to sample the different menu items and the chef is very flexible in terms of working on special requests.
Our ceremony was on the Upper Cottage Green, which is surrounded by the lakeside cottages in Hyatt. It isn't very private as there are a lot of hotel guests in the area moving between guest rooms and the private beach. However, they are very good about closing the walkways during the ceremony to ensure there are no interruptions. The weather was perfect, and the tall trees provided enough shade that everyone was comfortable throughout the cocktail hour despite being in the middle of summer. The Lakeside Ballroom opens to a patio and onto the beach, where our wedding guests enjoyed the view (and sunset!) throughout the evening.
Pricing is a little high compared to other venues which were not right on the lake. We opted for a package, which included more decorative add-ons as well as the wedding cake. Having the catering taken care of by the Hyatt removed one headache from our wedding planning. Lisa, our banquet manager the day-of, was truly exceptional and really went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. All the staff were super helpful and friendly, glasses were always topped off, and all guests with reported allergies were taken care of without any difficulties. Everyone complimented the food and we still have guests reminiscing about how good the wedding cake was!
With the exceptional food, service, and location, we cannot recommend the Hyatt enough. It was the perfect venue for our wedding!

Caity and her staff did an amazing job! Chef Justin created a custom menu and excecuted it flawlessly. Our guests were raving about the casual food we served the next day!
Caity was always professional and so helpful the day of the wedding! Without her and her food service staff our event would not have gone as seamlessly. They were all very pleasant to be around too. We even had to deal with a citywide power outage before and during our ceremony.
As for the venue, the lakeside ballroom has a gorgeous on the lake view. Great views of the lake and sunset. Perfect for photos! We hosted our cocktail hour on the patio and then moved things into the ballroom afterwards. The weather was perfect!
Thank you Caity, Chef Justin and the event staff at the Hyatt for making our dream wedding go so well!

I will forever have a special place in my heart for this place. The team at the Hyatt is absolutely amazing. From the event planners to the bell hop and valet. I wouldn't have changed a single thing about our special day. Samantha Hall was our day-of coordinator. I can't say enough good things about her. She went above and beyond for my family and I, not just on the wedding day but throughout the months leading up to it . I am so grateful for her expertise. If I could review her alone I'd give her 5 stars and a double thumbs up. :)) If you're considering the Hyatt for your wedding I HIGHLY recommend it. The cost is worth every penny.

We got married here last weekend and it was about as perfect as you can get. We had our wedding on the cottage green and cocktail hour/reception in the lakeside ballroom and patio. Caity was incredibly helpful when we were deciding on the venue and Sam did a great job dealing with the flurry of changes and details that we threw her way. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I grew up going to the Hyatt for all of my family vacations. When I got engaged last fall, I knew it would be a dream come true for me and my fiance to get married there. My dream became a reality in October 2014 when we held our ceremony and reception at the Hyatt with our 150 guests.
We dealt mainly with Caity Hunt (Kimball) who was amazing to work with. We chose to get married on a Friday because it was less expensive than a Saturday wedding. Caity helped us by recommending other vendors, helping me realize my general vision and come up with menus, linen suggestions, line up a group rate for our guests and much more.
Caity is sweet and easy to talk to. She is a great communicator and was very accessible.
It is a pretty expensive venue, but entirely worth it. The grounds are so beautiful and our guests were taken aback by the beautiful lake views. If you can afford it, want a beautiful setting for your nuptials, and want to impress your guests, I definitely recommend getting married at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe!

Overall we had a wonderful experience having our wedding at hyatt regency. The coordinators were also very responsive right away to my questions and even though they switched coordinators couple months before the wedding, lauren followed up on everything and coordinated our event perfectly. The venue and staff were so beautiful and accommodating, I would definitely recommend anyone that wants to get married in lake tahoe to come here!!!

You really can't go wrong with having Lake Tahoe as your backdrop, but the Hyatt did everything they could to make the entire event unforgettable. Lauren Hall was our catering manager who also acted as a coordinator for the event and was there every step of the way helping with all the arrangements, responding to my mom and my my multiple emails, and being an amazing resource to local vendors as she is not only a Tahoe native but also got married this year. My husband came up with a particular buffet menu that their catering services had no problems putting together for us, our cake was delicious, as i said EVERYTHING was perfect.

I had my wedding at the Hyatt over Labor Day, so I took advantage of 'Fall' pricing and SUMMER weather! It was absolutely incredible. The perfect blend of rustic elegance. You absolutely cannot beat this venue in Tahoe in terms of the location, beauty, guest experience and service. All of our guests stayed at the hotel for the weekend, and everyone RAVED about it (although the room price over the holiday did turn some people off, once they got there they knew it was worth it). It was so nice to have everything in one place, and we really felt like we got to spend time with all of our family and friends throughout the weekend with get togethers at the beach, restaurants, bars, spa and casino. You get a lakeside cottage the night of your wedding, and we rented it an extra night so the girls could get ready there - SO worth it! The food was amazing and the service was (generally) amazing and the lakeside setting was unbelievable. Overall, it all added up to create our fairy tale wedding :)
The only complaint I had was that they scheduled another wedding for the same evening, and while they handled it pretty well, you never want to share your wedding day with another bride.

I had my wedding in february, and it was beautiful. but not due to the staff at this hotel. kaity was our contact and though she was very friendly at first, then you realize she hasn't a clue and nothing agreed upon actually happend. the banquet staff was helping themselves to plates of our seafood apps, which were quite expensive, thanks... we weren't allowed to take photos in the places agreed upon. and we were severly overcharged for the alchohal. over half my wedding didn't drink, and i had asked the bartender when i left where we were at on the total, she had said 1400 on 4000. then my deposit gets maxed out for going over on alchohal. thats funny the one who was providing the alchohal says we were under half of what i paid for. bottom line is this place will rip you off. lake tahoe is beautiful, and made for great photos and evening. but if i had to choose again, i would avoid this facility. the staff is not very honest and for the price its deinately not worth it.

I held my wedding ceremony and reception at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe and I don't think that I could have had a better experience. I worked with Caity Kimball in planning. She was extremely helpful from the second I called the venue (even before booking)! The Hyatt is one of the priciest venues in Lake Tahoe during the summer and fall season but is actually pretty reasonable in the offseason. My wedding was November 12, 2011 and I found the value of the Hyatt to be comparable to most of the other venues in Lake Tahoe that aren't even on the lake. I would highly suggest checking out the venue if you are considering Lake Tahoe. I received a ton of compliments throughout the weekend of my wedding about how amazing the service was. I used the spa at the Hyatt for my hair and makeup and everything turned out great. Its a great spot if you don't want to have to move around a lot the weekend of your wedding.

Just got married August 7, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, in Incline Village. We had a 200 person ceremony on the Cottage Green, followed by a reception in the Lakeside Ballroom. Our guests still rave about the venue - everyone agreed the Hyatt was the best spot on the lake. The view alone is worth the (admittedly high) price tag.
The Hyatt wedding planning staff (and my planner Caity Kimball in particular) were absolutely amazing. We were planning from across the country, and she handled absolutely everything, responded to my emails immediately, and was friendly beyond words - an absolute pleasure to work with. We were the first traditional Indian wedding they had hosted on site, and everyone definitely went the extra mile to ensure that everything was set up according to our needs and cultural specifications.
We were the first group allowed to bring in outside catering, but we also had the Hyatt cater half the food. It was delicious - the guests especially enjoyed the passed appetizers served at our cocktail hour.
I also really appreciated the way the hotel treated my guests. Everyone got VIP treatment from the moment they checked in - the groom and I were even treated to a Lakeside Cottage suite the night of our wedding as a gift!
In general, the price tag on the Hyatt is not small, but the service they deliver is very high end - I would highly recommend them!
