Hyde Park Strings blew us away! They’re very professional and sound amazing - you can tell they’re professionals who love what they do! The premade programs made it so easy to select a cohesive ceremony “vibe.” My husband is a trained classical composer, so the bar was high. They topped it!

I got married April 7 2018 in Austin and had Hyde Park Strings play for the ceremony! We had a string quartet and we are so glad we chose them for our wedding. First of all, the process for choosing ceremony music and size of musician group was incredibly easy. We love that their website has clips of the various songs! We chose the simple and elegant program. On the day of the wedding a surprise cold front came through and it was in the 40's for our outdoor spring wedding! This can make physically playing an instrument very difficult and can also impact the sound of the instruments, but instead of giving up they did some creative problem solving with our band to save the day. They ended up setting up inside a room in the venue and having their absolutely beautiful music projected into the ceremony site. For the cocktail hour guests could see them play in person from inside the venue area. We were so thankful for their flawless adapting on the day of and we really enjoyed their music which received many compliments from our guests, including guests who are talented players themselves! :) I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The music provided by Hyde Park Strings was phenomenal. It is worth the extra money to have live musicians play during the time leading up to the ceremony, after the ceremony and during the cocktail hour. I put my dad in charge of music for my wedding...he's a musician as well, so I knew he'd have high standards. Hyde park strings lived up to it! They were amazing and made the ceremony beautiful!! They even learned out two favorite hymns the week of the wedding:)

I have to admit, I was so nervous the day of my wedding...I don't even remember hearing the stringed quartet during the ceremony at all. I was more focused on not tripping over my train down the aisle than anything else. But I'm told the quartet was wonderful. I certainly know that working with them was seamless. They kept in contact with me over email as often as I needed and were even so kind as work with me when I accidentally mailed my final payment to the wrong address. My payment reached them about 2 days late, but the person I contacted was very gracious and told me not to worry about it. They were very professional and pretty evenly priced, I found. I was upset with having to pay an extra $20 per musician to have them travel to my venue, but I've let that go. I chalk it up to the infamous, unforseen costs of wedding planning. Overall, I'd easily recommend them to another bride.

Hyde Park Strings was some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard. I hired them just to play at my ceremony, and they were worth every penny. The only downfall and reason why I did not give them 5 stars is because they were really difficult to contact, and when my final payment was due they told me that they are not required to give you a notice (that actually costs more money to have them keep in touch with you--which I think is ridiculous). They were a little on the expensive side, but like I said they were worth it. But other than that, I was happy with everything.
