We cannot thank our coordinator enough for everything she did to make our wedding day run so smoothly! From handling last-minute changes to being there for us every step of the way, she was absolutely incredible. Even with all the chaos, she kept everything on track and made sure we could enjoy every moment without stress. Her professionalism, calm presence, and attention to detail made a huge difference. **Disappointed and Misled by Jennifer Jenkins with I Do Events**
I really wanted to have a great experience with my wedding planner, but unfortunately, Jennifer Jenkins with I Do Events fell far short of expectations. I was initially drawn in by her positive reviews, but my experience was nothing like what was promised.
Communication was a consistent problem from the start — Jennifer often missed calls, didn’t reply to texts, and blamed poor service rather than addressing the issue. She never attended any venue visits or made any real effort to meet in person until *March 2025* — months after we signed with her in *summer 2024* and only after our venue coordinator suggested a meeting. She never asked about us as a couple, offered no helpful recommendations for photography, videography, or décor, and failed to follow through on promised discounts.
She also gave very little assistance with building the wedding timeline, ignored the ceremony planning completely, and shockingly, posted a photo of me at the ceremony on Instagram — despite not attending. On the day of the reception, she was supposed to assist hair and makeup teams to our suite but didn’t show up. This caused delays, and my aunt and cousin had to step in and guide them instead.
Jennifer also complained about the seat covers I purchased and outright refused to set out our wedding favors (which were boxed cake), without helping find a solution. She left the venue without introducing me to the planner who was taking her place, leaving us completely in the dark on the most important day of our lives.
She rarely communicated with vendors — a key part of a planner’s role — and often told me to “DIY” things like signage and décor instead of helping connect me with professionals.
Jennifer ultimately came across as a very hands-off planner, and I felt abandoned on my wedding day. While I’d like to give the benefit of the doubt in case something personal came up, the lack of communication and professionalism throughout the planning process left a lasting negative impression.
I hope this review helps other couples make an informed decision.

Jennifer was amazing to work with! She checked in with me frequently throughout the entire process and was always available to answer any questions I had. She worked with me to set up a payment schedule for her services, and she was so accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding due to Covid. There are so many little things involved with planning a wedding that my husband and I would have forgotten if it wasn't for Jennifer. Although she is based in Orlando she planned our wedding for Tampa and never skipped a beat. She responds quickly to any questions or concerns you may have. She's experienced so she already has working relationships with a lot of vendors, which helps with negotiations and deciding what vendor you want to go with. We can't thank her enough for making our wedding day seamless and enjoyable.
Jennifer and her assistant were wonderful! We had a small wedding planned within three months and it went off without a hitch. She was available (easy to reach), pleasant, professional and provided great vendor recommendations when asked. You can tell she truly loves her job and I would hire her again!

Planning a wedding? I thought I could do this in my sleep, I thought I had it all figured out. Boy was I wrong! After a couple of months into planning, I was so stressed out and almost cancelled the wedding. My fiancé at the time said we should look into planners, so I did. The girls here make you feel like anything is possible! They always went above and beyond for us, delivered more than we asked, always professional yet personal. We first contacted Jennifer still living in Maine as we wanted a wedding in Florida. She worked with us from afar and to be honest I don’t know how she does it. Originally we had planned a wedding with over 200 guests with I Do Events and since COVID-19 happened, we were forced to reschedule or have an intimate wedding. We choose an intimate wedding instead and these girls were able to pull this off in such short notice and exactly how we wanted it to be. Here is a funny story! We have been planning our wedding for over a year now with Jennifer and her assistants. We had our venue picked out, dress, photographer, officiant and even the cake. It wasn't until all this happened with COVID-19 until I realized that I shouldn't wait any longer, I spoke to Jennifer and she was so kind and understanding and directed me to the right direction. I ended up using the company's Virtual program and I got married in front of all my friends and family, yet they all watched via their television/phones/computer. Honestly, I could of not done it without Jennifer and her girls. Im so happy I had them by my side all of this time and even though we are going through this crisis, I still got to marry the love of my life.
