The entire i-do Weddings & Events team is amazing! They made wedding planning fun and as stress-free as possible. Brigid and Karen were both wonderful to work with. They are reassuring, consistent, and calm advisors on all decisions - big and small. They are promptly responsive and always polite. Brigid helped us select amazing vendors (DJ, hair/makeup, photography, rehearsal dinner venue, videographer, bakery, etc.) and brought everything together.
My husband and I don’t live in Cincinnati so we knew straight away hiring a wedding planner might make the process smoother but it turned out to be an integral choice. I-do Wedding & Events was exactly what we were looking for. They have the local knowledge, connections, and experience to basically predict our needs. Brigid and Karen were super patient with all of our questions during the planning process and especially during the days leading to the wedding. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better team of professionals to make our day the most amazing day ever.
On our wedding day, Brigid and her team were everywhere at once - always ensuring that our people were where they needed to be. Without them, I have no idea how anything would have worked at all. Half of our family would’ve been on the wrong floor and the rabbi would still be trying to find parking. Brigid collaborated with the venue coordinator and orchestrated the day seamlessly.
Members of the wedding party had only positive things to say about Brigid, her team, and the vendors we hired who had Brigid’s personal stamp of approval. I would go out of my way to recommend i-do Weddings & Events to all of my friends and family for any event they are organizing.

Brigid was a delight to work with for our wedding planning! She is extremely knowledgeable about all the aspects of a wedding and well-connected in the Cincy wedding industry. All of our vendors told us how much they love working with Brigid! She gave us great referrals and was always available if we wanted to meet with her. She frequently communicated with the bride’s mom who lives out of town which put her mind at ease. The wedding day went seamlessly because of Brigid and her team. Karen, who helped with the design process every step of the way, created beautiful invitations and decor. We cannot imagine saying “I do” without i-do weddings!

I am the father of the bride and the single best decision I made in helping to plan our daughter’s wedding was to hire Brigid Horne-Nestor and her staff at i-do Weddings & Events. Brigid and her staff have an accumulation of wedding and event related knowledge that is beyond compare. They can provide names, contact information, and reviews for both venues and vendors quickly and accurately. They are well known in the community and worked well with the staff at the venue and with all the vendors. They saved our family hours of time and effort, and stopped us from going down several blind alleys and dead ends. When we had questions or concerns, the staff at i-do Weddings & Events responded promptly. Whenever there was a question about how something should be done, Brigid provided an answer that all the interested parties accepted. Brigid and her staff are as much mediators as they are planners. i-do Weddings & Events created a schedule of tasks and deadlines for us and made sure we completed our tasks on time. Nothing was left to the last minute. Nothing fell through the cracks. They created a time line for the wedding day and had sufficient staff present at the wedding to insure everything (and more importantly everyone) was ready on time. As a result, all of us were able to thoroughly enjoy the entire experience.
You may be able to plan a great event when you make the final decisions on every item. With a wedding however, there are four adults and two families involved and each has a vision of how this day should be.
The point of a wedding is to celebrate two people’s love in a public commitment to each other for life. There are hundreds of decisions to make and each one affects the next. The bride and groom will always remember how they felt during that day and that feeling should not be one of a relief from stress. I am glad that we had i-do Weddings & Events help us plan our daughter’s wedding, so that we could spend more time enjoying the day with our new and old families and friends.
We had the great pleasure of working with i-do Weddings for our daughter’s wedding this past October 2023. Brigid and her entire team were professional and helped make our event very special. The entire process was extremely organized while providing excellent guidance and options for the event. The i-do Wedding Team communicated extremely well, ensuring we met deadlines with our vendors and venue. Working with i-do Wedding provided a seamless and stress-free process that allowed us to focus on our daughter’s wedding and provided an excellent experience and event that we will never forget.
Father of the Bride
Shortly after our daughter got engaged, we decided to hire a wedding planner. We knew that using a planner would make everything easier since our daughter and her fiancée both live out of town and are busy with their careers. After doing some research, I interviewed several planners on the phone. I instantly knew when I spoke with Brigid Horne-Nestor from i-do Weddings and Events that she was the planner for us and my daughter agreed. We all just “clicked” and felt like we had a true team of friends helping us with the planning.
Due to her years of experience, Brigid is extremely knowledgeable about everything necessary for planning a wedding in Cincinnati. She was extraordinarily helpful during the entire wedding planning process. She helped us to find the venue for the wedding and the reception and made suggestions regarding vendors such as the florist, photographer,videographer, DJ, bakery, photo booth, stationary supplier, hair and makeup artists, etc. Brigid even compiled an extensive list of possible Welcome Event venues, for the night before the wedding. Every vendor that we hired based on her recommendations was fabulous.
We’re all very detailed oriented and organized people, but Brigid never flinched at our numerous questions or concerns. She or her team answered always all of our emails or phone calls timely. She understood all of all concerns, whether they were legal, financial, religious, dietary, COVID related, or social. Brigid was always considerate of family dynamics and respected everyone’s opinion. I truly believe that Brigid is part planner and also part counselor, friend, and wizard.
Karen Montgomery, another valuable team member, expertly guided us through all of the design elements for the wedding - including giving advice and suggestions regarding color schemes, attendants’ clothing, flowers, linens, stationary, etc. She made excellent and attractive suggestions and was responsive to all budget concerns. We got rave reviews from all our our guests and we are certain that the wedding would not have been as lovely or the same without Karen’s assistance.
Brigid and her team assisted us during the entire planning process and on the wedding day. Everything happened seamlessly. Brigid and her staff handled all of the details on the day of the wedding, freeing us to enjoy the day. We’re so happy that we didn’t have to carry a clipboard and folders on the wedding day; instead, Brigid and her team handled everything.
Hiring i-do-Weddings & Events to help plan the wedding is one of the best decisions that we made since our daughter got engaged. She and her team helped to create a magical unforgettable wedding which everyone enjoyed.
From our very first phone call with Brigid it was amazing. The calmness and reassurance she and her team provided us throughout the whole wedding planning process and even on the wedding day was perfect. Their attention to detail and your personality as a couple is very well done. Katie and Jen were phenomenal on our day and our bridal party and immediate family were amazed with how things were manage. I myself did not have to worry about a single thing in my day from the timeline, to where my to-go bag would go, and where to place things. Karen, on their design team was very communicative and attentive to our conversations helping us make our vision come to life. I highly recommend Brigid and her team to plan your special day. To all brides and parents-of-the-bride: If you are planning a wedding in the coming year and need a wedding planner, go immediately to i-do Weddings & Events and sign up Brigid Horne-Nestor. It will save you time, energy, and worry. Best of all, you will be so happy with your decision.
In 2021, when our daughter began planning her June, 2022 wedding, our first suggestion was that she hire a wedding planner to help her. Not that she wasn’t qualified to do it herself, but we knew how busy she was. We also recognized our own limitations in being able to effectively help her with the massive amount of work that would be needed to assure a wonderful day for her — and us!
She wisely selected Brigid Horne-Nestor, and as a result, the wedding was beautifully choreographed, with innumerable moving parts, and a dizzying array of complicated aspects. For example, we surprised our daughter with Irish dancers at the wedding reception, and Brigid made it happen without a glitch, without our daughter knowing, and with cheers from our 225 guests. We had fireworks along the driveway of the country club as the happy couple left the reception, with everyone waving sparklers, and that, too, was a huge success, creating more once-in-a-lifetime photographs.
On the day of the wedding, everything unfolded as we had hoped, and my husband and I could relax and enjoy the day/evening, knowing that Brigid was quietly behind the scenes, making sure the hundreds of details were being handled. I know of no glitches in any of the intricate steps that began with breakfast for the wedding party, through lunch, the coordination of the photographers, the wedding ceremony at the church, and finally to the reception that has been described to us over and over as the “best ever.” The flowers were amazing, the band was sensational (the dance floor was jammed all evening), and the food was wonderful.
Our daughter and Brigid were the perfect team to create a magical wedding experience for the bride and groom and for our families and friends. For this, we thank both of them for the memories we will treasure the rest of our lives.

Brigid and Karen are truly the best! I can honestly say they made wedding planning fun and as stress free as possible. We attend a lot of weddings and truly nothing compares to the attention the give each aspect of the day to personalize the experience for guests and also ensure everything runs seamlessly.
Beyond their expertise in planning and design, Brigid and Karen were both wonderful to work with. They were reassuring, consistent, and calm advisors on big and little decisions. They helped us select amazing vendors and brought everything together.

Brigid and Karen are the dream team. We would have been so lost without them. They are unbelievably organized and had the very best recommendations for other vendors to work with. I loved how honest they were with me throughout the entire process. They were not afraid to say "that's a waste of money" or "I think you'll regret that choice". I truly cannot recommend them enough.
The best single example of their flexibility and can do attitude came during our reception. After the father/daughter dance and during the mother/son dance my grandma came to me and said my grandpa would like to have a dance with me too. I told Brigid what was going on and she was able to coordinate with the band to announce another dance and picked the perfect song based on my description of "slow and short". She did this in about 60 seconds. None of our guests knew that this dance wasn't originally planned as part of the evening. It was seamless. The dance ended up being something I'll always cherish being able to share with my grandpa and I'm so thankful Brigid was able to make it happen.
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and that wasn't because there were zero hiccups, it was because the team from i-do took care of any issue before I even knew something had happened. They are the absolute best!!

My daughter got married in Cincinnati on June 4, 2022. I, mother of the bride, live in Alabama and my daughter lives in New Jersey. Planning a wedding is difficult and stressful. What if it was a destination wedding!!
But working with Brigid and I Do Planning team made our experience easy, fun, pleasant and stress free. The whole team worked in a very professional manner, delivered on time and have always excellent ideas/advice.
The wedding day was a dream comes true!!

Brigid and i-do Weddings & Events were SO helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process!
Brigid kicked everything off working to understand what was most important to us for our wedding day and what we wanted guests to take away from the experience. She was then there to answer any questions and provide recommendations on additional vendors and plans for the day.
We were a COVID couple, so Brigid helped us navigate postponing our wedding until 2021. Brigid's helpful advice was what guided our decision and I credit her for helping us make the call early enough that we were then able to move most of our vendors from 2020 to our new date! She was instrumental in working with vendors to finalize the updated contracts at a time when everything in the world was so up in the air. We so appreciate Brigid's candor, advise, and calming spirt during such a chaotic time.
Once we FINALLY made it to our new wedding date, Brigid and i-do Weddings & Events made sure everything ran smoothly. This allowed us to focus on family and friends and truly enjoy the day. Brigid's timeline, attention to detail were super helpful and I also enjoyed the software she provided to help keep track of everything along the way.

Our day-of-coordinator was Clare and she was always one step ahead in making sure every minor and major detail were met. If there were any issues during the day, she handled them and we never know (exactly what we were hoping for).

A little over two years ago, we hired i-do Weddings and Events to help us plan a large wedding for our daughter. Brigid recommended wonderful vendors and helped us develop a timeline. Covid-19 hit hard just after we ordered invitations. Brigid was our guide as we figured out when and how to cancel, then re-structure our wedding…twice! We were one of her first COVID weddings and we appreciated her ability to think on her feet! Ultimately, we had two beautiful, scaled-back wedding events a year apart, both at our home. I would probably not have considered a coordinator for a home event, but Brigid and her assistant were invaluable that day. They worked with the caterer, bakery, florist, photographers, etc., and allowed us to truly enjoy and remember our celebration!

Exemplary! Excellent Coordination
Brigid went well “beyond the call of duty”...made sure all areas were covered..did quite a bit of trouble shooting and graciously made last minute changes/additions. Our daughter and her fiance's goal for the wedding was to be elegant--and yet fun.
That goal was totally accomplished. Feedback from guests was that the wedding was elegant; and yet, the most fun at a wedding that they have ever had (actually there was a guest---work colleague--that said it was the most fun she had ever had in her life!)
Brigid was able to connect us with vendors that not only met the new bride and groom's needs, but were fabulous-from the amazing flowers provided by Floral V Designs, The Indian Hill Little Red Schoolhouse Venue (my daughter & I are both teachers), Jeff Thomas Catering (most delicious food ever!), gorgeous photos by Megan Noll Photography, personalized design of invitations, etc. to renting a last minute wheelchair for an out-of-town guest.
My daughter's last words to me as she left the reception were that the wedding was "Perfect."
I thank Brigid from the bottom of my heart for making my daughter's wedding "Magical."

Where do I even begin?!? First of all, planning a wedding during a pandemic was not my first choice, but I would not have picked anyone better to have done it with than Karen Montgomery and the i-do Weddings team. In addition, planning a wedding in general is very stressful, and I felt at ease knowing Karen was there to help us the entire time. Her knowledge of the industry and local vendors is extremely critical. I felt I could trust her recommendations, which made the process a lot more efficient. We did have to pivot on one of our vendors later in the planning process due to a family emergency, and it was all hands on deck to find a replacement who was just as talented. I am also appreciative of the attention to detail the whole team gave. Even down to using a monogram “L” on the dance floor, chalk stencils and face masks we handed out, to the hotel and wedding welcome gift bags. I basically sent my Pinterest board and said, “I trust you,” and it paid off. Most importantly, during our wedding day, I didn’t have to worry about a single logistics issue or minor mishap, as Karen and the team took care of it while we could just be in the moment and enjoy the day. I am so grateful for all of the work Karen and the team put into our wedding. It truly was our dream wedding, and all of it can be attributed to the planning, coordination and creativity of Karen and the i-do team. As a mom of two daughters getting married in 2020 I can not emphasize enough how much I would recommend I-Do Weddings and Events. Our first wedding happened on August 15th and it was simply amazing. Every detail to have a beautiful wedding and to keep it safe for our guests was thought of. This was not the original date it was 6/6. Karen Montgomery and the team at I-Do Weddings and Events immediately stepped in and were able to find a date that all of our vendors were available and completely reschedule our daughter’s dream wedding to August 15th. We had to navigate through a lot of uncertainty and changes in our plan, but our guests could not tell and it was an amazing day of Joy! Every little detail was thought of and it was a beautiful celebration of our daughter Christina’s marriage to Jayson! There is nothing more than parents want than to to help support their children fulfill their dreams. When Christina told me that Jayson and her had their dream wedding the day after and that it was an amazing day and they wouldn’t change a thing, as a parent you could not be more happy, and this truly would not have been possible without Karen and the team at I Do Weddings. As our daughter Morgan and her future husband Taylor look forward to their wedding day in November we are even more at peace knowing that this team will guide us through our second wedding in 2020 and deliver Morgan and Taylor their dream wedding too!

We can not recommend i-do Weddings enough! We had Karen as our point person and she was amazing. I have a crazy work schedule and my mom and bridal party are not local, so communicating and coordinating with our vendors was difficult. Karen helped guide the way and took tons of stress off our plate! The day of, she was there to do everything from being our liaison between vendors, to safety pinning my dress after my bustle broke! Plus my mom and I got to relax and focus on enjoying the day. We are so grateful!

Our outdoor, tent reception ended up being a day of torrential rain. Karen and her assistant made Plan B, C and D happen with total ease. Everything was still beautiful and fun and most importantly I got to totally enjoy the party!

Brigid is the BEST! I’ve witnessed her proficiency in multiple weddings, most notably my sister’s and my own. She truly makes things seamless and handles all logistics in a calm manner. Brigid, of I-do Weddings is the BEST! She is an amazing listener and makes you feel at ease with knowing that she understands your vision. My daughter's wedding was a mashing success thanks to Brigid's understanding what we wanted and making sure that it came to life. My first thought was do i need a wedding planner? After working with Karen at I do Weddings I couldn't be more thankful we hired her. She was amazing from day one. My Wife and I can't thank Karen enough. We had a December engagement and knew we needed a summer wedding. We also knew we didn't want to wait a year and half for our wedding. I can't praise Brigid Horne-Nestor & Karen Montgomery at I-do Weddings & Events enough! They were the absolute best.
Me & my (new!) husband had quite the complicated wedding (eloped in Turks & Caicos, threw a large reception locally, tons of family & friends traveling from out of town). None of this phased Brigid at all & she went above and beyond to help plan things that weren't even part of our wedding package as they came up (ex: looking into flights for my family). Brigid is probably the most responsive person I've ever worked with, which really matters when it comes to a wedding! She's obviously smart, competent, and gets things done. She knows everyone in the local wedding industry it seems & put us in touch with the absolute best vendors. Super friendly and fun but at the same time able to handle the 5 million things at once that it takes to plan a wedding. My type A personality resulted in me e-mailing her multiple times a day sometimes as questions/items popped into my head but she never seemed to mind & was always helpful, prompt, & friendly when it came to taking care of things as they came up.
Karen Montgomery who is on the design team at I-do Weddings & Events has great taste & obviously paid close attention to exactly what sort of vibe/look we wanted at our wedding! It was the most beautiful wedding I've ever attending (obviously I may be just a tad biased since it was my own ;) but I actually received that compliment from several guests. Every single detail she planned out from the layout of the room, the linens, lighting, florals etc. turned out gorgeous & the finished product actually brought tears to my eyes.
On the day of I had the best time & got so many compliments from guests on how smooth and perfect everything was. They made sure each detail and request was taken care of & I literally did not stress even once on the night of our reception. My wedding & reception were absolutely wonderful & I know I couldn't have done it without Brigid, Karen, & the amazing team at I-do Weddings & Events. I would highly recommend them to anyone & sincerely hope I can use them for another event in the future!

Karen Montgomery and her team are fantastic. My daughter Alex loved Karen, which was most important. Alex told me after our first meeting: Karen is so nice and so easy to talk to!". I agree! I could e-mail Karen any question before the wedding and she had a practical, sensible answer. She helped keep us on budget and on a timeline, but at the same time design, plan, and execute the best wedding ever. We had such a great experience working with i-do Weddings & Events. We live out of town and had very limited knowledge of the city where our son would be getting married. No need to stress. Karen was so wonderful! She was our day of coordinator and we could not have had our day happen without her. Karen went above and beyond by helping my mother in law by picking up hundreds of cookies and storing them in her fridge in her home! She helped set up a beautiful cookie table all while helping to arrange our home made table centerpieces. Karen was very organized and prepared for anything and we highly recommend her to help make your day a reality.

With a tight budget, busy work schedule, and minimal interest in the "little things," I needed serious wedding help. Brigid was able to turn dreaded planning into a really special and fun experience. i-do Weddings & Events made our wedding happen. They thought of everything we didn't and had answers for any questions we had. They offered suggestions and solutions when needed and supported our view of the wedding we wanted. From the beginning, they were quick with their responses and eager to work on our behalf. From coordinating the hotel blocks to researching venues in our price range to contacting each vendor individually to discuss our day, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was planned to a T. They created a timeline with every individual's name and role involved that laid out what would happen at what time starting from setup the day before and the rehearsal dinner all the way to the end of our wedding night. As a young couple, we had no idea what it would take to put together such a huge event and they gave us the comfort and support that our wedding would go off without a hitch. I can't express how professional they were and fun it was to work with them throughout the entire planning process. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and we don't know what we would have done without them. Our minds were at ease knowing they had every base covered while we were focused on our bug day. Karen helped us so much on our big day. We had a very tight timeline and with so many vendors running around we would have never of pulled it off without her. Day of she wore so many hats. From making the center pieces to ensuring everything was cleaned up afterwards she was always doing something behind the scenes to ensure the party kept rolling. Weddings are incredibly hard to coordinate and the bride and groom have virtually no time the day of to manage things. If you have even a semi-complicated wedding I highly recommend Karen.

Words cannot express the gratitude, appreciation and admiration I have for Karen Montgomery. I interviewed multiple Wedding Planners because I had a vision, a vision that our wedding day would be perfect. After meeting with multiple planners, it was evident that I needed Karen on my team. Throughout the entire 13 month process Karen was there day-and-night to answer any questions, provide insight and give her support to me, my fiance and my family to ensure we were getting what we wanted and what we needed to plan our dream wedding. She met numerous times onsite whether to discuss linens, song selections, entree selection, etc. I knew I could count on her to be there. August 18th came and Karen was nonstop all day making sure everything went smoothly. She was popping in to the bridal suite to make sure we were being taken care of, down in the ballroom setting up place cards, placing wedding favors on tables, running bouquets back-and-forth for pictures, she did it all. Only being a couple days out, I seriously have major post-wedding blues! I can honestly say our day was PERFECT. Karen coordinated a detailed timeline for all vendors to ensure the entire weekend went seamless! The quality services we received is more than I could have expected, and I am so grateful I got to say 'i-do' with Karen leading my team!!

Karen is awesome! We planned our wedding with her over ~18 months and the process was great. She was quick to offer many options for any questions we had, and when the options didn't feel right for us, she was happy to talk it out. She seems to know all the best vendors and contacts and that made so many things easier. There were plenty of difficult, painful decisions to make, but Karen made them feel more manageable. In the end, our wedding was like a dream. It was amazing to see everything come together and run so smoothly. We didn't get to spend tons of time with Karen on our day, but we could tell she was behind the scenes, taking care of things the whole time. We're sad our time with Karen is over, but look forward to seeing her at my sister's wedding in a few months.

What can I say? Karen is the BEST! I reached out to I-do because we decided to get married 6 months after our engagement. I work a lot and am admittedly not a great "party planner". Karen put together our design, recommended fantastic and reliable vendors and made sure our "day of" went smooth and perfect. There was never one time that I thought "I could have done this myself" or had any concerns that things weren't going anything other than great. Karen had it under control. The level of detail and planning that goes into a wedding should not be left to just anyone. Please do yourself a huge favor and hire I-do to make the most important day of your life perfect!! I worked directly with Christina throughout our wedding planning process and it couldn't have been easier. She helped us to not only find the vendors that we needed, but helped us to finder cheaper ones that were trusted partners. For her day of service alone I am so grateful, I wasn't stressed even once! She either handle problems without telling me, or came to me with both a problem and its solution in action. She kept my(and my Mom, husband etc.) cups full of drink as we cruised the party trying to be sure that we got to talk with everyone there. Trust me, you need i-Do weddings and Christina in your life!
Words cannot express how happy we were with I Do and specifically Karen! She was PHENOMENAL, and even that is an understatement. A week after my daughter's engagement I found myself wide awake in the middle of the night wondering how I was going to juggle my family, my job, aging parents and enjoy planning a wedding. Someone suggested I look into a wedding planner, and so a little reluctantly, we met with Christina Penfield and Karen Montgomery of I-Do Weddings & Events. We knew from the initial meeting that this would be the best decision we made to ensure my daughters wedding would be all we had hoped for. Right from the start, they understood my daughter and her fiancée's vision and created a clear path to make that vision a reality. They had fantastic recommendations for vendors who were just wonderful to work with and made the night go off flawlessly. Our meetings were filled with creativity and detail, and my daughters voice was always heard and respected. We looked forward to every planning meeting and the organized and thoughtful way Christina and Karen kept us on track. They offered wise suggestions and were compassionate and professional in the few stressful situations that arose. They were our sounding board for decisions we were unsure of and kept close contact with our venue and our vendors. The day of the wedding was SO much fun thanks to Christina and Karen's organization and experience. Christina was the point person at the venue since we had worked closely with her on design. She made sure everything was perfect and we were so thrilled when we got to see our vision come to life. Karen was with us at our house, where the both the bridesmaids and groomsmen got ready and pictures were taken. She graciously kept us on schedule ( picture herding cats 😺) and both families got to enjoy the beautiful special moments that happened that day. They handled the distributions of payments and tips for the night so my husband did not have to worry about that. Christina made sure my daughter and her husband got off at the end to their honeymoon suite.
Thanks to I-Do Weddings my daughters wedding was just perfect. I can't tell you how often my daughter or I would say "Thank God we have Christina and Karen!"
Probably the best compliment of all, three weeks after my daughters wedding, we both mentioned that we missed seeing Christina and Karen. They are so very dear to us.
Hiring I -Do was by far the best decision and the wisest investment we made and we feel very blessed to have worked with Christina and Karen!
I-Do Weddings (and specifically Christina) was the best thing that happened to our wedding. I'm originally from Cincinnati, but planned my wedding from Chicago and Christina made it the greatest experience. She was always honest with us and helped guide us to making the best decisions for the wedding. She was always willing to help and answer questions. I trusted her to make choices for me when I couldn't be in town. It rained the day of our wedding and her professionalism and calm demeanor plus impeccably planning made the situation not even be a problem (which is the most a bride could ever ask for). Everyone at and in our wedding commented on how professional, organized and wonderful she was to work with. I would recommend Christina and I-Do weddings for anyone getting married (and not just in Cincinnati). Christina was not only my wedding planner, but she also became my friend.
I cannot say enough positive things about Brigid Nestor and Karen Montgomery of i-do Weddings & Events! When initially starting the wedding planning process, I didn’t really think that a wedding planner or coordinator would be necessary for us, but I am so thankful that I changed my mind. Brigid was very helpful during the beginning stages of the wedding planning process to bounce ideas off of and was a wealth of information for me as a Cincinnati bride. She had a vast knowledge of venues and vendors and was able to give recommendations based on our budget. She also provided a timeline software that was easy to use, manipulate, and made planning the wedding week/weekend a breeze. It was helpful to have all the information for the weekend in one place. Karen went over the timeline with me the week before the wedding and was able to provide suggestions on items that I had not thought of and also some areas where the timeline should be extended so that we would not feel rushed.
Karen was invaluable as a coordinator the day of the wedding. She eased any anxiety, was a calming influence and allowed my whole family to be fully present without having to carry the responsibility of the details themselves, which everyone was truly grateful for. She was there every step of the way and felt like a member of our family who we love. She arrived on time, made some last minute payments that were overlooked the day before, kept us on schedule and silently facilitated many other things that she didn’t bother us with. She was a point person between all of our vendors and helped the DJ queue up some of the important moments like my father’s welcome, maid of honor and best man speeches, cake cutting and first dances. She made sure everyone was where they needed to be throughout the day and was willing to help with anything. Karen provided our photographers a lot of assistance with keeping the process smooth and on time. She made sure that all requested photos were taken within the allotted time before and after the ceremony. We all feel very lucky that we had Karen by our sides on such an important day and are thankful for the special connection we developed. After the wedding we received a very special and personal note from her which brought me back to our perfect day. I thoroughly and heartily recommend i-do Weddings & Events. They blew me away with their professionalism, knowledge, genuineness and kindness. Their passion for helping others plan and execute their special day is evident the first time you meet them. They truly enjoy what they do and are who you want to help you plan and execute your special day.
If you're reading this review , chances are you're a newly engaged bride. With that, PLEASE, do yourself a favor and invest in I-Do Weddings for a wedding coordinator. It truly will make a difference on your day. I don't even know if anything went wrong on my wedding day because Karen and her team were there to make sure everything was PERFECT.
I was so fortunate enough to work directly with Karen from I-Do. Planning a wedding is stressful; No matter who you ask. Karen was amazing at taking the lead and asking questions that I would never think of. Ex. "how would you like your towels folded?" Crazy, I know, but those are questions you're asked leading up to the wedding day and believe me, that's the last thing you want to think about. Karen was a life saver. No joke.
I'm so thankful for Karen and her team because I didn't worry about one thing on my big day. Not a thing and that's how every bride should feel on their wedding day. Stress free and fabulous. :)

Working with Christina was great. She put out a lot of small fires during the process that would have turned into something much bigger. She was able to keep the secret videographer I hired and made it a huge success. Overall highly would recommend them.
We hired I-Do weddings to assist in planning our wedding. I am not originally from Cincinnati and my family and maid of honor lived out of town, so I was going to need help! Karen and Christina were AMAZING throughout the entire process. My husband and I were so impressed with their guidance to find vendors, setting up appointments, and keeping us organized and on track. They were both very professional and were quick to respond to questions and concerns. On the day of our wedding, we completely trusted Christina and Karen and knew our day would go smoothly and perfectly having them there, and it did! Now, 5 months after the wedding, my husband and I miss our meetings with them as they will forever be a great part of the memories we had planning our perfect wedding day!
Christina and her team from I-do wedding boutique made all of the difference on my wedding day. Christina was organized, prompt, and very flexible when it came to scheduling meetings around my busy schedule. She had great ideas and knowledge about wedding planning that I never would have had on my own. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and everything went exactly as planned!!! Having her as our wedding coordinator gave us so much peace of mind, so we were really able to enjoy the big day!
What can I say other than Christina totally rocked my daughter’s wedding! From start (a year ago) to finish she was energetic, hardworking, responsive, creative and professional. Everything we wanted our daughter’s wedding to be and had envisioned, Karen and Christina brought to life perfectly. Their design knowledge, professionalism and organization skills make them top-of-the-line wedding planners. We had so many ideas, decor and personal touches that we wanted to incorporate into the wedding day. They worked their magic in setting up and executing everything we wanted into a stunning, customized setting. From the minute we signed up with them, they gave excellent vendors recommendations that started bringing our dream wedding to life. Every recommended vendor we chose was perfect and the time savings in narrowing down those choices was significant! On top of that, Karen and Christina made sure everything was on schedule at numerous meetings we had with the vendors and our venue over a 12 month period. Karen and Christina helped develop a detailed timeline for us which helped everyone (vendors, venue, wedding party, etc) stay on schedule and made the wedding day flow flawlessly.
At the end of the night, the I-Do team packed everything up for us (27 boxes in all) as we went on with the post wedding celebration. I can’t say enough about everything they did for us and how they made our day completely stress free. We are truly grateful that Karen and Christina were by our side for the past year and especially on our wedding day.

Christina was wonderful to work with! We we're very much DIY-ing our wedding, but having an objective 3rd party keeping track of everything as well was invaluable! We were planning our wedding from a-far (Destination: Cincinnati!) so we spoke with Christina several times in the months leading up to the wedding as the plans for various elements became clearer. It was great to have her give us friendly reminders about things we needed to clarify and lock down. Then, the best part, was on the day-of, we turned everything over to her and we didn't have to worry about a thing! Our guests could be guests and the day ran very smoothly! It was a team effort and having Christina on the team was a big win!
I have used I do weddings for two daughters and have had an absolutely wonderful experience. From start to finish Brigid and her staff have handled every single detail for two very different daughters with patience , professional and very personal attention. I don't know how I would have enjoyed being able to focus on my daughters special day without them. Just make sure it’s “i-do Weddings & Events”. Trust me when I tell you, you will not be disappointed! Their expertise and professionalism are second to none. I cannot even begin to tell you how instrumental Brigid, Karen, and Christina were in bringing our dream wedding to fruition. These ladies are nothing short of amazing! My husband and I were able to plan our entire wedding from Louisville, amidst the craziness of everyday responsibilities with minimal trips to Cincinnati and little stress (yes…really)! There was no detail left unattended, and no request too large. From communication with all of the vendors, keeping us up to date on what needed to be done when, to a timeline of events down to the minute for the weekend, they really did think of everything! When the big day was upon us, the only thing I had to think about was keeping it together on my walk down the isle, and they even had great advice about that as well! It was so wonderful to be able to relax and enjoy my friends and family the weekend of our wedding, knowing that Brigid and Karen had everything under control. I saw Karen in action in August 2014 at my friends daughter's Wedding. I knew them I wanted to schedule an appointment to discuss hiring her for my daughter's Wedding. Best investment I made.
By Profession I am a Planner and have organized and coordinated many events. My goal was to be stress free and more importantly enjoy the most beautiful day fof my daughters life, her Wedding Day! And that's exactly what happened for me and my daughter.
My daughter at first, didn't understand why I was making this investment. However, after our first meeting she was overwhelmed with all that had to be done; deadlines, time frames, coordinating with all the vendors, etc. she herself was very happy that I hired Karen.
Karen and Christina were amazing to work with. They are so calming when you think you have a crisis, They talk through with you providing guidance, suggestions and most importantly keeping you calm. I"m not sure how they do it but they do. They never made me feel as if I was bothering them when I called with questions or asking for suggestions.
As the Big Day was nearing Karen stepped in and took complete charge, Dealing with all the Vendors and providing them with their schedules. Sending a Reminder of Things To Do Making sure you had the Rings, Marriage License, etc. the little small things. Making sure nothing fell through the cracks.
From the Rehearsal to sending the Bride & Groom off at the end of the Reception, they were there every step of the way. Coming to the house while the girls were getting ready, taking charge, keeping everyone focused and on time. Still coordinating with Vendors. If anything went wrong I can tell you I didn't know about it. Karen and Christina took care of it.
It was the most PERFECT DAY!
We used I-Do Weddings' Day-Of Coordination service. We worked with Karen to organize our vendors, create a timeline, and meet with our caterer prior to the wedding. The day of we worked with Julie and Teresa to keep things on track. Working with Karen was great, she responded to emails in a timely manner and was able to answer questions throughout the planning process. Julie and Teresa were also great, I knew they were there to keep the day moving and put out any "fires" that may have come up. If there were any "fires" they did their jobs very well, because I never knew of any and the day/evening went flawlessly from my perspective! It was great to know that they were there to work with our vendors throughout the day so myself, my husband, and our families could enjoy the day we worked so hard to plan and put together.
From start to finish, I-DO helped us to stay organized and ensure that our wedding day went by seamlessly. Karen was absolutely wonderful in helping us to plan our wedding weekend timeline and ensure that every detail was considered. On the day of, Julie was there to ensure that neither my mom nor me had to worry about a thing! It was wonderful to know that somebody was there for you so that you could focus on having the best day of your life!
