Simply stated, Shanelle and ICS are truly amazing! Other than saying yes to my hubby, meeting and working with Shanelle is still one of the best decisions we made. I googled wedding planners and came across Shanelle - we met and that was it for me as there was no need to look elsewhere....it really felt like planning a wedding with a close friend who was so intuitive that you got what you needed before you even asked. Planning a wedding in 8 months is no easy task however with Shanelle, it became the case. My friends and family could not understand why I was so calm and stress free... Of course my secret weapon was Ms. Shanelle and her fabulous team! Shanelle had all the professional qualities and contacts I needed to make my wedding unique and my day special. She referred us to many vendors with varying price points which saved us thousands of dollars. She referred Patrick Martinez, stylist (gown), Pastor Nicholson, Officiant, Wicks Florist and Natasha Dennis, makeup artist. Shanelle is incredibly organized and and detail driven. She really spoke my language! Shanelle and team ICS was there for me and my hubby every step of the way and we could not have done it without them. She kept us on target and seemed to always be 5 steps ahead of us - at the end of the day shanelle delivered the wedding of our dreams which our friends and family are still talking about today. Little things can ruin your mood and your day and I have to say thanks again to Shanelle and her team especially Manuel and Rochelle for sheilding us from it all.... If there were issues I had no idea and all the last minute hiccups like the menus, programs, welcome table items, last minute dress steamings were all taken care of without my knowledge or input. I could write a book on how great this experience has been as a result of Shanelle but ill save you the time and effort - just hire her, you will not be sorry!! It truly is my pleasure to write this review and not only do I happily recommend all brides to hire a planner, I urge them to hire my planner. Thanks a million times Lady Shanelle and team ICS! ... Getting married in NYC can be an extremely stressful endeavor, if you let it be... My wife and I were blessed to have the absolutely fantastic Imaginative Creations team, lead by Shanelle coordinate our wedding. My wife explained to Shanelle the vision, and expectations for our special day and Shanelle and her team ran with it. It's one thing to hire a "Day Of Coordinator" and have them show up on the day and help out with the flow. Between in-person meetings, phone calls, emails, and text messages, it felt like Shanelle was with us from the day I proposed! What we experienced was top notch professional service, wrapped in Love. The beauty of Shanelle and her team is how they pay attention to even the smallest details. Its that attention to detail, combined with unparalleled customer service that makes you feel like you're dealing with family vs. a vendor. My wife and I could tell from the very beginning that we were dealing with someone who was personally invested in our special day. Shanelle's words of encouragement, and reassurance that all things will work out for good, was a much needed breath of fresh air. Thank you Shanelle, Manny, and Lizette for all your hard work, love, support, and patience with my wife and I! I was referred to Shanelle and her IC team through another vendor for my August 3rd wedding and was thoroughly impressed. Although my venue claimed to have a "Day of Coordinato" on-site, I am so glad I decided to go with Shanelle and her team. From a customized, day of schedule, contacts for transportation at every price point, ideas for the night of, assistance during the rehearsal, coordinating with vendors, to suitcases filled with steamers and sewing kits, the IC team really went above and beyond my expectations! To this day, guests are still talking about how seamless and organized the wedding was thanks to Imaginative Creations. I am forever grateful to Shanelle and her team (Jenny and Rochelle) and would definitely recommend them to future brides.

I was reffered to ICS by a friend. Shanelle was a blessing because I was lost and so behind on planning. She was very patient with me and help me organize everything from the guest list to all of my vendors. Jenny was my day of coordinator and she was great. She is so down to earth and cool. The day went so smooth for me and it came together perfect. Thanks to Jenny everything was on schedule and well organized. All of my guest had a great time. Looking forward to working with ICS again :)

Although I hired ICS for "Day of Coordination" services I felt like she was there from day 1. She is thorough, professional, precised, organized, personal and efficient. If anything went wrong on my day I never knew about it as ICS was on the job, she took care of the big things as well as the little ones. Shanelle was on point with everything, for instance she carried my lipstick the entire day to ensure I was picture perfect, she help me with my dress when I had to go to the lady's room, she ensure that we ate, the photographer took enoungh and the right pictures, and so much more. I would highly reccomend Shanelle and the entire ICS team for wedding corrdination services.

Shanelle and her staff were fabulous and went way beyond my expectations. She anticipated my needs before I knew what they were. Even before I booked her as my wedding coordinator, she answered all my questions, and gave me very useful advices. Even though, I had to change my wedding to an earlier date, she and her assistant Jenny were very accommodating, and made sure all the vendors were available for that date. I highly recommend her.

I already had a vision of how I wanted my weding to be. When I began planning I was sure I could not pull it off on my own. After a few days of begging and pleading I convinced my fiance (now husband) to let me hire a wedding planner. I found Shanelle on the knot. She got back to me very quickly and assured me from the very beginning that everything would be fine. Even though I knew she had other brides I always felt like I was her number one priority. The vendors that she supplied me with were also great and very professional. My wedding day was beautiful. Shanelle along with her Assistants Jenny, Rochelle, and Derrell were more han helpful. Alot of people said it was the best wedding they had been to. I know I couldnt have done it without them.

After getting engaged I knew instantly that I would need someone to assist me in planning my wedding. I had so many ideas and visions that it was hard for me to pick anything. So I went to my trusted computer and googled wedding planners. And by the grace of God I found Shanelle and ICS. I was blessed with a group of people who listened to me and helped me to hone in on what I really wanted. Shanelle is a wonderful person and that shows in her work. She is very assertive and with 10 bridesmaids, 10 groomsmen a ring bearer and 2 flowergirls being assertive is very much needed. Shanelle handle the job like the pro that she is. No one's opinion counted except for my husband and my self. She was able to help me find all my vendors, DJ, Make-up artist, Hairstylist, and florist all phenomenal. I would definitely recommend all my vendors. Yes Shanelle is fabulous, however what adds to her award winning work is her staff. Jenny, Shanelles assistant, is just as great. She is personable and has a beautiful personality and I loved all the time that her and I spent together, as well as the time I spent with Shanelle. I can truly say that these women helped bring out my beauty and there are no other ways to express my feeling besides saying" From the bottom of My heart I Thank You". If your looking for a wedding planner, look no further than Shanelle Walker and ICS, you wont find anything better.

It's been three months since my wedding and my husband I just viewed our wedding video for the first time. As we watched it I was reminded of the AMAZING job Shanelle and her team did on my wedding day. I don't know where to begin... When planning my wedding I decided I needed someone to help with the fine details and definitely needed a day of coordinator. I found Shanelle on The Knot and knew from our first meeting that she would be the one for me. Detail oriented, full of great ideas, respectful of my vision and a promise to be there more than the last month of planning really set her a part from others. What I loved is that I could call or email Shanelle any day, any time and she always got right back to me. I would call on her for any question I had or advice that I needed. Even my husband started saying, "call Shanelle." I remember calling her one time from the store to inquire about table signs - it was clearly outside of "business hours" but I was standing in the store debating between products and gave her a call. Not only did she answer the phone, but she happily gave me the advice I needed and made me feel like I could truly call on her for anything. Fast forward to the wedding day... OMG!!! Shanelle arrived with her team, Jenny and Manny, and I've never seen anything orchestrated so perfectly in my life! They took care of EVERYTHING. From making sure there were snacks for my husband before the wedding, to checking in with all of the vendors (which she actually also did before the wedding day), to keeping us on time, to passing out programs, to providing supplies the day off (toasting glasses, cake cutting set, unique card holder). At one point in the evening, someone hugged me, their hair went in my eye and my contact popped out! Shanelle was by my side before I even got her name out of my mouth, she wisked me off to the bridal suite, pulled out contact solution and voila! problem solved! It was so quick, no one really noticed I had stepped away. It was like that all day. Between Shanelle, Jenny and Manny there was someone always by my side or my husband's side ready, for anything. From my husband's perspective, he said their value was in that he didn't have to think about anything. He spent the moments before the wedding just relaxing and having time with his guys. Everything was taken care of. Our guests even remarked on how well we were taken care of. I can't imagine my wedding day without this team. I was a little hesitant to spend the money on a wedding planner, but Shanelle and ICS was well worth the amount! Shanelle was able to lend me several items that I didn't really want to spend money on for a one-time usage. That was very important to me. She also took care of many little things that I never would have thought about on the day of the wedding. Her staff was also great and everyone made the day run smoothly. A day of planner really relieves stress on the big day, and I recommend using ICS.

By the time I contacted Shanelle Walker at Imaginative Creations, I was already fed up with the idea of finding a wedding planner. I had looked for and spoken to so many planners already. I was looking at a bridal website that recommended her. As a final attempt at getting help with my wedding process, I called the number listed. I must have spoken to Shanelle for an hour and a half! By the end of the conversation I knew I had found my wedding planner. Shanelle and her team did not disappoint me. I chose her "hold your hand" package and that she did! I called her about every minute detail and received an honest opinion or alternate solution. She was there when I chose my wedding gown making her feel like a member of the family. She also introduced us to the most amazing vendors (Josua Dwain Photography, Chris Bryan of Emotions, Patrick Martinez of City Iris, Dj Kern) We definitely hired a top notch crew for our event. Aside from being a planner she was also a buffer between my guy and I! I would contact her about a wedding disagreement and she would say to me, "Ok, Dont worry... I will contact my boyfriend Garnel (we began sharing him) and i will speak to him" and voila: problem solved. The day of our wedding Shanelle arrived with two excellent staff members, Manny and Jenny. I have to say, Imaginative Creations is a well oiled machine. Everyone knew what they had to do and where they had to be. My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing or make any sort of decision on our day. Shanelle and her crew took care of everything! They were the first to arrive and the very last to leave.My husband was skeptical about hiring a wedding planner at the beginning, but by the end he could not imagine us getting to our day without Shanelle and her staff. He keeps talking about them and wondering what other event can we hire them for! We cannot recommend them enough. I can’t recommend Imaginative Creations by Shanelle enough. Throughout the planning process, Shanelle asked the right questions & made sure she understood our vision. She respected our desire to do away with a lot of the rituals that were not important to us & helped us think of things that we may have overlooked. Leading up to our wedding day Shanelle listened, provided guidance, & responded to all my emails & detailed questions. And on the day of, she did what it took to realize our vision – so that we could have a wedding exactly the way my fiancé (now husband) & I wanted it. She was simply wonderful! Working with Imaginative Creations by Shanelle made the wedding planning process – which can be overwhelming – much more manageable. I found Imaginative Creations on the internet, so I based my decision to hire Shanelle mainly on our initial meeting & subsequently on the glowing recommendations she received from several former clients. From the first meeting with her through our wedding day, Shanelle was a wonderful guide, a great help & a consummate professional. We wanted our wedding to flow & to be a Big Party. We didn’t want to observe many of the standard wedding elements which held no meaning for me or my husband. There was no cake cutting, no father/daughter or son/mother dance, no bouquet toss, no overwhelming décor, no cake. But this didn’t mean planning our Big Party was easy. In lieu of the standard traditions, we had various non-traditional elements that we wanted to include. Also, I am Nigerian & my husband is African-American so we wanted to include elements of Nigerian culture in our American ceremony. It was important to work with someone who would help us bring everything together & create an event that reflected our wishes & fit our style without leaving our guests at a loss or bewildered. Shanelle went above & beyond her agreed upon duties. She offered us help with securing vendors while remaining open to working with whoever we decided to go with. She met with us several times early on in the process & touched base with us throughout the year to make sure we were on track. Finally, while we were planning our Big Party both my husband & I a lot of traveling & Shanelle was great about dealing with long periods of quiet while we were away, followed by bursts of emails, questions & activity when we were in town. When the day of the Big Party arrived Shanelle was FANTASTIC & her staff was a pleasure to work with. My husband & I (& several of our guests) noticed & remarked on her seamless coordination of every aspect of the day, from sending her coordinator, Manny, to stay with the bridal party & keep us on schedule, to being aware of timing of various elements during the Big Party. Shanelle made sure we had all of the elements we wanted & kept us humming along right on time without making us feel like we were "on the clock". Everyone went above & beyond. At one point during the reception, Manny took a Polaroid camera that we’d provided for our guests (which they weren’t using much) & started taking pictures. He was so warm & personable that our guests really got into it. He captured wonderful moments for us & provided us with a guest’s view of the wedding that we could enjoy immediately following the reception. Shanelle and her team are amazing. Her guidance through the planning was priceless. Going into planning my wedding, I was not sure if I needed a wedding planner or not but Shanelle was referred to me by a family member and I decided to give it a try. Let me just say that in the first conversation, she gave me more information that I was able to gather myself in the three months before planning on my own. She kept in touch and guided me every step of the way. After over a year of planning the big day was finally here and Shanelle and her team were absolutely fabulous. I never worried about anything, I was on time, the vendors she recommended were perfect and professional. She thought of everything and her emergency kit even impressed my bridesmaids. I asked my mom to bring her portable steamer and when that stopped working, Shanelle had one. Shanelle and her team were in constant communication throughout the event to ensure my day ran smoothly. Everyone commented that I was such a happy bride and all I can say is, that is because of Shanelle and her team. I never worried for anything. Her services were priceless. She even handled the demands of my family with professionalism and trust me that is not easy. From the rehearsal at the venue until our wedding almost everyone commented on how wonderful and on point she was with her IPAD :) I would not hesitate in recommending her services to family, friends and strangers.

Shanelle is an AWESOME Wedding Planner. Her attention to detail is second to none. She did a fabulous job planning and coordinating my special day. Our wedding was phenomenal and if it had not been for Shanelle's expertise, caring and hard work, it would not have been such a perfect day! Shanelle is tireless in her efforts and very dedicated...no task was too big or too small. She was my everything leading up to and especially on the big day...she was my friend, my counselor, my teacher, my emergency hair/dress/make-up repair artist, my resource, my go-to person, my EVERYTHING!!! The way Shanelle treated my wedding was as if it were her own, the way she handled everything in planning and coordinating the day was as if she were me. And she is very professional and serious about her work. Shanelle gave me excellent resources and referrals for vendors as well. I could never thank her enough for such a fabulous job, she WAS my planner, she IS my friend! I would recommend Shanelle to anyone planning an event and especially for weddings:)

Working with Shanelle and Jenny for my wedding was amazing! Shanelle was detail oriented and treated my wedding as more than just a job from our first phone conversation. Shanelle knew I had my own ideas, never tried to steer me in other directions, just supported every decision and gave me information where I needed it. Shanelle found make up and a soloist for me who were also FABULOUS! Shanelle took her time to get to know me as a person, and as a bride. She was involved making sure she knew who people were, had to pronounce names correctly, and just overall a true professional. I will ALWAYS recommend Shanelle to any bride from this point forward!

Working with Shanelle from Imaginative Creations by Shanelle was an absolute pleasure. She and her team helped with make our wedding Fabulous! Shanelle was absolutly fabulous she paid great attention to all of the details that I had given her for my special day and made sure that evewrything was just as I wanted it. She set me up with some wonderful vendors and I must thank her for that. She is very professional and very easy to get along with and was always available to me when I needed her. Thanks to her and her assistant my day went exceptionally well.
