Our experience working with In-A-Flash Photobooths was not fun. It took us months of going back and forth for them to really understand what we wanted. It seems like the company is used to working more with big name casinos and other grand events, so they didn't seem to grasp the concept of a simple and elegant look for our photo booth backdrop. After much going back and forth, they finally got what we wanted. We booked them because we got a Groupon and although it made for great party favors, I don't know that I would do it again. It was such a headache. It would have been much easier if we could have just met with them and been able to show them what we wanted, but they insisted that everything be done over e-mail correspondence. This is typically not a problem, yet it was very challenging communicating with them. Again, for the price, the product turned out great and our guests had a fantastic time playing with the props and taking funny pictures. The service was okay I suppose but nothing to brag about. If you have the time and patience then this could be a great option for having a photo booth since many other companies charge a lot more, but if you're under a lot of stress (like most brides are around their wedding) I might caution you to not add the extra hassle. Overall, we are happy we did it because we have a pretty funny scrapbook filled with pictures but I would think twice before booking again.
First, it took 3 phone calls before I got a call back from someone at In-A-Flash. When I did things seemed to move smoothly, although at one point I recieved a response to an email that consisted of ONE word. Not very professional. As the wedding day got closer they had me pick out the background I wanted but after the fact never used it. On my wedding day, they were supposed to arrive and set up at 4:30--wedding set to start at 5:15. It was all outdoors and once the wedding started no vendor could come in due to the layout. At 5:00 I called them and was told the guys were running late. Because of that they didn't begin set up till 5:40ish which meant they missed the entire cocktail hour, then everyone sat down for dinner and by the time the party started it was dark (outdoor wedding) and no one really understood who or why they were there. It took a few announcements from my DJ to get it going. My guests DID enjoy themselves and they got to keep the photos that were printed out. I had to supply the tables for the props (come on, they should have their own tables) and pay for a fee for having pictures taken in the daylight and at night (which in the end I didn't because they set up way too late and didn't take any pictures before sunset). Basically, I paid for a full night of services but did not receive a full night of servcies and when I asked for half my money back I was offered $50. I will say in full disclosure I bought a coupon for their servcies and they were discounted in the first place--but discount doesn't mean I should have had to sacrifice half my reception. I guess I got what I paid for. I will reiterate, my guests had a good time with the props and the pictures, but in the end it wasn't worth dealing with them.
