Helena understood our vision and helped us navigate the floral and decor selection. We especially appreciated her tip about creating specific pinterest boards for each aspect of the wedding, rather than just a "floral" board. It made creating our vision a lot more manageable.

I worked with Helena at in bloom for my wedding in February this year (2023) and she exceeded my expectations! I came to her with a vision for an enchanted forest and she wowed us by providing tree sized centerpieces with whimsical branches- bustling with colorful flowers. She had the amazing idea for hanging candles from the centerpieces and votives at the base which elevated the table to the next level. The florals made the whole mood of my wedding- it was romantic and whimsical. From the ceremony open floral arch to the bouquets to the centerpieces- Walking into the room felt truly magical. Helena is easy to work with and worked within my budget to provide me with the best day of my life. I’m definitely hiring her if I ever do a vow renewal in the future

Helena with In Bloom through Powerstation Events, was superb to work with and the flowers were absolutely beautiful. We received endless compliments at how gorgeous everything was. Each time we spoke with Helena, we were always on the same page. Helena understood our vision and did not lead us astray at all. The boutonnières, bouquets, the pearl wrist corsages (our mothers LOVED), center pieces; EVERYTHING was gorgeous. We were all about details and creating moments and Helena captured all of it. We went into this knowing we wanted autumn colors (November wedding) and Helena just delivered.

Both Helena and Jenna from In Bloom were amazing to work with for our wedding on 9/24/22 at TPC River Highlands. The decor and the flowers absolutely won the day. The decor was exactly what we had asked for. The florals were better than I could have ever imagined. We grabbed as many bouquets/arrangements as we could and are just so obsessed with how they came out. Now we need to get them preserved so we can enjoy them forever!

WOW! I cannot believe how STUNNING the flowers were for our June wedding at The Barns. They were absolutely perfect and exactly what I had envisioned! I had originally planned on doing a simple white florals for my wedding, but quickly changed my mind to something quite different. After scrolling through Pinterest for hours, I decided I wanted a bright, colorful, wildflower look. When I met with Helena she was so enthusiastic about my vision. She took all of the inspiration pictures I had sent her, and made them come to life! All of the flowers were stunning, especially my bouquet! I have had endless compliments from those that attended the wedding or saw my pictures about how stunning the flowers were. Thank you so much for all your hard work. I can't stop staring at them!

We worked with Helena and had a great experience. Our wedding was in spring of 2021 and we were only able to meet virtually before the date. Helena was able to work with us to reduce pricing of some items, including posy bouquets (which were quite elegant) for my bridesmaids and using in-season florals, without sacrificing overall beauty and elegance. One of our boutonnieres for the father of the bride was forgotten and we noticed after delivery. My mom was able to contact In Bloom and a replacement was made and delivered to us in time for the ceremony. Our ceremony pillar florals were gorgeous and coordinated well with the florals at the reception and throughout our venue. I absolutely loved my bridal bouquet, with tulips, roses, ranunculus, forget me nots, anemones and greenery. It was stunning and I think about it often.

The flowers were beautiful and overall the decoration was pretty. They are also super nice. However, we didn’t have the best experience with them. They were the only vendor to stressed us out. I tried contacting them multiple times months before and I finally got to speak with them a week before my wedding. We had a lot of changes to make as our wedding was postponed and we wanted to kind of start over but I felt I couldn’t make too many changes because we were too close to the wedding date and we were told our order was already out. I felt I couldn’t make the changes I wanted to. They were a few details that we were unhappy with. For example: We were using the same arrangements from the ceremony in the sweetheart table. We paid a fee for them to stay and do that for us as I thought they would do a better job than any of our family or friends could but it looked like they just threw it in the table and they didn’t even centered it. Looking back at the pictures, it really doesn’t look good. Also, I asked for more candles in the tables and I sent inspiration pictures with what I was looking for and I was told they were sending me pictures of what they had available and never did but I trusted them as I sent the pictures so I thought “Oh they know what I want”. Maybe my wedding was just in a bad timing when they were so busy. **Brides that are reading this make sure you know the flowers on your bouquet. We got a white anemone flower and it has a navy blue center, it is a beautiful flower but not ideal for bouquets. My wedding dress got stained right before the ceremony when taking the formal pictures. We had to go through all the bouquets and plucked them out! This is just an advice as it was really frustrating especially before walking down the aisle.

We used In Bloom/Powerstation for our florals and décor for our September 2021 wedding, and absolutely could not have been more pleased with what they created. The big draw for us was the idea of having one team working on all of the ‘aesthetic’ aspects of our wedding, both so that we would have a cohesive look and feel, but also so we didn’t have multiple vendors vying to upsell us or ‘own’ certain things. It worked out amazingly – Sara, Jenna, and their whole team built an event more beautiful than we could have imagined, and matched our vibe perfectly! I had a consultation with Sara before contracting, and she and I walked through all of the aspects of the wedding that they would support, with her offering advise and guidance based on her knowledge of the venue and her understanding that we wanted subtle décor that would let our location shine. She was honest and thoughtful about what we really needed and what would add value, vs what wouldn’t, and wasn’t afraid to disagree with what I thought I wanted and point me in a better direction. We came up with a great plan, and as we got closer to the wedding, she and Jenna took the helm and helped us craft exactly what we wanted for our décor and florals, including reusing decor across the ceremony and reception, and being conscious of getting more ‘oomph’ from fewer elements. Sara took my very vague guidance of a few colors and some adjectives, showed me some pictures to gage a reaction, and ran with it to come up with the most incredible floral arrangements that really complimented our feel, and were showstoppers in their own right. Jenna was just as great with our lighting and décor – adding some wonderful touches that I wouldn’t have thought to ask for. When the lounge package we originally decided fell victim to a summer hurricane, she replaced it with something that was even better and really added some special touches. With that lounge package, some lighting, and some lawn games, she turned our venue’s firepit into the most magical outdoor escape that was truly the hit of the party in the eyes of our guests, and gave them an experience that made the evening!

Sara took my vision and absolutely brought it to life! I sent her my idea for a little more of a unique centerpiece and before we even hired her she responded with "I legit want to do these so bad!" We picked her because I wanted someone as excited as I was for my flowers! It's amazing how she took a few 'inspiration' pictures and completely hit it out of the park. Only downside is, because they don't have a traditional 'store front' in which they operate, they can't show you sneak peaks of what you'll be getting day-of. However, put your trust in Sara and it will be perfect!

Thank goodness for Sara. I was probably a bit more neurotic than the average bride, but she hung with me! I told her 5 million times "I don't like décor, only flowers" and she knew exactly what I meant. I had a clear vision of black + white, classic + simple and she made it come to life. When we selected décor, Sara and I did so meaningfully. I only wanted what was necessary. She never batted an eye at the multiple emails, changes in ideas or questions. I cannot say enough about Sara! She did the flowers for my sister-in-laws', my best friend, and my wedding! Sara is so knowledgable and is great when it comes to working within a budget. My husbands father had recently passed away, and Sara did an am amazing job incorporating his favorite flower into our already existing color scheme and floral selections. Highly recommend working with Sara for your special day!

Wonderful experience. Sara worked with me over many months to help refine our floral vision. We knew nothing about flowers (names, seasons, etc) but went on Pinterest, pointed out ones we liked and didn’t like visually, and she worked her magic! She made suggestions on different flowers to help us save on costs, made suggestions on sizing for centerpieces, and really worked with us instead of upselling us like some other florists we’d talked to during the quote process. Everyone commented on how incredible the flowers looked. Beautiful colors, large blooms, all alive and vibrant (no browning), and smelled so nice! We rented an arch as well, and votive candles, and the set up and cleanup by Jenna and Carley day of was seamless. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent arrangements for my wedding! The centerpieces were snapped up by my guests because they looked and smelled so pretty! I also put my bouquet in a vase and the flowers are still going strong a week later. Working with Helena was lovely. She was receptive to my concepts and really delivered!

In Bloom was hands down one of my favorite vendors to work with! I reached out to them in order to couple florals with drapery and lighting. Sara was my contact person right up until she was placed on leave and was phenomenal!! Kerri stepped in for Sara and didn’t skip a beat - she reassured me that Sara and her team had a vision board started for my wedding and she would pick right up where Sara had to leave off. I met with Kerri and had so much fun picking out the votives and centerpieces for my tables (Kerri made it not stressful at all!) and after meeting with her I had full confidence she knew the vision I was going for. I cannot say enough how amazing Sara was to work with from In Bloom Florals. Poor Sara was sick in the hospital and would still continue to answer my last minute emails a couple of weeks before my wedding. She completely nailed the rustic/romantic/ pretty look I was going for both at our Ceremony and Reception. We worked with Sara in dreaming up our wedding day and it was the BEST experience. Because of the pandemic everything was handled over the phone and we described our vision of whimsical spring fairytale with pinks, greens and babies breath. She sent us a mood board of what she envisioned based on our description and it was right on target. When the day of the wedding came, we were absolutely speechless. Words can't express how amazing Sarah from In Bloom/Powerstation is. By the end of the wedding planning process, Sarah felt more like a friend than a vendor. Like many other couples, my husband and I had to change our wedding plans due to the pandemic. When we moved our venue from Connecticut to Massachusetts, I was so relieved when Sarah said she would make the trip to Cape Cod. She helped me reimagine my florals to fit my new venue and literally made all of my floral dreams come true. I had a very specific idea of what I wanted in my head and Sarah brought it to life. Everything was absolutely beautiful and we got so many compliments on our flowers. Not only did she deliver beautiful arrangements, she also provided so much support along the way including hours on the phone making sure every detail was perfect. Planning a wedding in 2020 was no walk in the park, but Sarah was such a bright light and got me excited about my changed plans. She is the best of the best!

I don't even know where to begin in praising In Bloom Florals for all that they did during my wedding planning process. I worked with Sara who is a GEM of a human. With all the uncertainty around COVID, our wedding plans changed 100000x and Sara was patient, responsive, and lovely to work with. She provided so many different options and work arounds each time our date and venue changed. We ended up changing states and it was refreshing how honest she was about the price differences and logistics. She ended up completely reworking our floral arrangements and packaged them up so my mom could pick them up the day before the wedding. From the beginning, Sara has been absolutely incredible, from answering countless emails to hours on the phone and listening to my idea, to absolutely creating the most elegant florals for our wedding. Sara has been so accommodating, such a breath of fresh air during this process especially since the pandemic. My wife and I used In Bloom Event Florals based on the recommendation of our wedding venue. There is a reason our venue works closely with In Bloom--they help to create a wedding that will meet or exceed your expectations. My wife and I wanted to be practical with the floral arrangement, budget was a concern as well as not making the flowers (or lack of) a focal point. Helena Willis, our contact at In Blooms and we gave her our vision of the wedding day florals. We are not flower people by any means, I thought that our lack of knowledge in this area would be an obstacle for Helena to produce those visions. The flowers that were used were beautiful, yes, this groom did notice the flowers. We were very happy with In Bloom Event Florals and our experience with Helena.

Helena at In Bloom Floral did an amazing job with our flowers!! We stopped at the studio about two months before our wedding day and were able to talk about all the florals, and see and arrange my bridal bouquet exactly how I wanted it - and on the day it turned out even better than I imagined! All of my bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres were perfect, as were the loose greenery and roses provided for our ceremony and reception decorations. The delivery was also right on time! Finally, we were very grateful when we had a last minute wedding party change, and In Bloom offered to add on what we needed with no additional charge, which was a huge stress relief for us!

I am not a flower person, so when I say that I was blown away by the flowers from In Bloom for our daughter's wedding on August 3rd - it is really a statement. I booked Powerstation for 3 services for my wedding at the Barns at Wesleyan Hills (florals, hair/makeup, and photography) and every single one of them exceeded my expectations. I booked Powerstation Events for my wedding in March. I hired them for the decor, flowers, planning and coordinating. Prior to booking with Powerstation Events, I did a TON of research and received many quotes from other vendors! I found myself calling multiple vendors because not one vendor carried everything I wanted. At a time when I found myself getting extremely frustrated and wanted to give up, I found Powerstation Events! They designed, planned, decorated and executed everything that I had envisioned on my wedding day! My first meeting was a phone conference to explain ideas, go over items I was looking to rent, the vibe I wanted to set and so much more. I really enjoyed the phone conference because it was a nice introduction speaking with the team, explaining what they do (limitless, they will go above and beyond!), how the company started, etc. I really loved that they are you one stop destination! The next meeting was in person at their beautful office building! I sat down with everyone that was working on my wedding, the decorator, planner and florists. Everyone is such a delight and I felt like I have known everyone forerver, it is a family friendly environment and I felt right at home ! Being a bride is extremely stressful because you see all these didferent themes, colors, combinations, rentals, etc that you can implement at your wedding. I worked with closely with Sara, Helena and Nicky! AMAZING !!! I must have called them so many times changing things, updating things, going back and forth and they are so PLEASENT AND PATIENT ! They were so open to anything, but what I really loved was their suggestions! They have been doing this for so long that they have amazing experience and really know how to make anything work. The day of my wedding was just perfect ! I had a small wedding and had a lot of decor and flowers brought in! The owner and chef of the venue even stated how amazing Powerstation Events was, that she has never seen such professionalism and respectfulness of from a vendor before. They are pros at setting up and breaking down and extraneous clean! I am so very happy I was able to work with Powerstations Events and I cannot wait to work with them in the future for other upcoming events!!!!! Look no further! I didn't think it possible, but the In Bloom team managed to EXCEED my expectations and dreams. In Bloom Floral did such a beautiful job on our wedding flowers! My first meeting with Helena was 3 hours long! She patiently went through all of my Pinterest inspiration boards and wanted to know what I liked and didn’t like about each photo. In Bloom Florals phenomenal team made our daughter's vision of her wedding flowers come to life. She knew that she wanted bright colors, and sent the team at In Bloom Florals several photos which depicted the general idea of what she liked. Our daughter spoke to Jennifer Forino, Power Station's Floral Specialist, and described what she and the groom wanted as their "look." Jennifer took the time to meet us at the wedding venue so that she could visualize the different locations for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The wedding was on Folly Farm in Simsbury, so the the overall effect was to be summery, colorful and casually elegant. On the morning of the wedding, Jennifer delivered the amazing bouquets to our home, where our daughter and her bridesmaids were getting ready. She then proceeded to the wedding venue and worked her magic in arranging the florals for each area/facet of the wedding. The magnificent bridal bouquets, centerpieces and ceremony florals created by this talented team were beyond everyone's expectations! The quality, colors, variety and arrangements of the bouquets, centerpieces and additional floral decor were the most beautiful I've ever seen! I highly recommend In Bloom Florals to anyone looking for truly outstanding florals for a wedding or other special event!

I didn't have much of an idea of what I wanted for our flowers except that I wanted sunflowers and I like peonies. The only guidance I gave Helena was that I hated roses and I hated round bouquets, the rest, I told her, was up to her. I must commend and thank Helena and the In Bloom team for the MOST AMAZING floral arrangements and bouquets I have ever seen in my life. The Barns looked the best it ever has and that in large, is due to their beautiful flowers. Our guests and The Barns ladies could not get over how stunning every floral piece was. They were a great inspiration for the ladies to put the rest of the decor together and they truly made my pinterest dreams come true! That’s a lie- they were far beyond anything we could’ve ever dreamed or imagined. The flowers were perfection and were such a beautiful addition to our special day! Their hard work and beautiful imagination did not go unnoticed and my jaw still drops when I look at my bouquet in my kitchen.

In Bloom floral did the flowers for my wedding and one word: WOW. I was blown away! We had met to discuss my vision, which was open to interpretation with some guidance by my Pinterest board. I knew I wanted gold accents and greenery, but wasn't sure how to execute it. I also didn't have faith that anything would ever come out close to the magical world of Pinterest. I was proven wrong. The day of my wedding, when the bouquets arrived, I was floored. They were beyond beautiful that I was moved to tears! You can tell this team takes great pride in their work, only using the most quality flowers while trying to flourish your vision. People are still telling me how in love they are with my flowers. They lasted all day, evening and then some. The team even provided rose petals for the flower girls, no charge. If you want an extremely knowledgeable florist with years of experience and a keen ability to execute something spectacular, go with In Bloom.

The end result of our florals was excellent, however it was a bit of a challenge to get to that point. We met with our original consultant about 10 months prior to our wedding day - we went through all of our wants and needs, she took notes, and that was that. Several months later when it was time to put down a deposit, we learned that she was no longer there and had to go through the entire process of explaining what we wanted again as nothing was communicated to the new person. In the end, everything turned out nicely, but it wasn't as turn key as I would have liked it to be!

All of the flowers for my wedding were beautiful! The bouquets, the centerpieces, and the hanging florals were all gorgeous. I know they had some trouble getting enough flowers due to recent hurricanes but they still made it work and look beautiful without me having to worry. All of the other decor from powerstation was beautiful as well. Every guest was raving about how beautiful the venue looked. Thank you!
