Welcome to our storefront, we hope to enlighten you to our services, but mostly want to encourage you to contact us (and others) so you can determine the best fit for possibly the most important event in your life. So what will we do for you? Pretty much anything and everything! No really we are here to custom fit your needs. We certainly can do it all, find the best location for your big day, find all the right vendors and negotiate contracts with them all. We can design the layout of the day's activities and design the decor, and of course we will ensure that the whole day runs smoothly. We could even choose a theme and colors for you. This is fine and we will do this if that is your desire. I feel, however, that this is your big day and so many brides or couples want to do much of the planning themselves. I believe you should do most of the planning, without doing the planning. Wait what? I know, I know that doesn't make sense, but think about it. Your wedding needs to be your plan....your dream and ideals. Give us the blueprint and we will do the work. Yes we do have packages for full service, but also know we will customize to your needs. How about you do the parts you like and we'll do the rest. Reach out to us with your questions and thoughts, we would love to hear from you. As others said after reading all these good reviews it’s like we had different people. I finally gave in and hired her for a day of coordinator. She contacted me pretty quick and sent me over the contract me and my fiancé signed them and emailed them over and then she pretty much ghosted us. I emailed her multiple times asking about the next step and never got a response from her. She then emailed me maybe 2 weeks before my wedding asking for info and my vendor list. Thankfully I was already able to find another amazing coordinator that was able to relieve soooo much stress for me and we just had our amazing wedding last weekend. Would 1000% not recommend her services.

It is difficult to know where to begin. We feel we have been completely ripped off & bamboozled. One-star rating is already too high. The “Theresa” in the positive reviews is not the one we received, which begs us to question the validity of those reviews. Very similar to Jake G.’s review on 6/10/2022, disappointed does not even come close to the reality of our experience. The ineptitude & level of incompetence was astonishing. She was hired for the day of the wedding. Two family members & I came to help her set up that morning. At the beginning we wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt; however, that became increasingly difficult as the day went on. In the first 4 hours she was there, she ironed a handful of round tablecloths & set up a few glasses. Table set up & placement, decorations, extensive lighting set up, decor of cake & bridal party tables, and the details she was hired to take care of were NONEXISTENT. The additional bride & groom’s family members & friends who arrived ended up doing her job up until an hour from the start of the ceremony. She had zero knowledge of the itinerary & order of events for the day, which were provided to her well in advance. She was instructed to minimally decorate the church which was only 1 mile from the reception hall with a few flower placements that were already provided and did not fulfill these duties either. We were absolutely HORRIFIED!!! She did not assist in seating guests, nor did she perform ANY of the duties required during the reception. At one point the bride gave her specific instructions to place some finger foods out for the guests, and this did not happen, as we later found the food in the refrigerator. Her appearance was disheveled: hair uncombed, attire unprofessional for a wedding, mannerisms questionable. She did not have an approachable demeanor, she lacked leadership and did not direct any events during the wedding or reception. It felt like she didn’t even care. The hired food servers were unaware that a wedding coordinator had even been hired for the day. Several of our guests pulled us aside during the reception due to her strange behavior: A guest noticed she had gone to the bathroom & stayed absent for an extended period of time during the reception. Another guest found her sitting in her car on her phone in the parking lot for a long time and had to tell her to go back to her “job.” Needless to say, it felt like a complete waste of money!! She definitely added to our stress & did not fulfill all of her contractual obligations. Brides BEWARE!!! I would HATE for this to happen to another bride on her special day. AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
Theresa is a wonderful wedding planner. She helped us from start to finish. We had a 'blank slate' venue and needed to bring in pretty much everything, and she made sure nothing was forgotten. She recommended a team of vendors that were really great and brought a fun energy to our wedding. It was like having another group of friends with a good vibe that just happened to be working the event. She is great at helping you stay on budget, and I think her fee more than paid for itself. Theresa also decorated the space, which turned out festive and lovely. She made a beautiful balloon arch that looked amazing in all the photos!
Theresa was perfect to work with. Her attention to detail and ability to quickly resolve any issues during pre- wedding and all events was so helpful. She was very organized and professional and saved the day with getting undelivered rental items out to our hotel in an emergency. Excellent event and amazing support!
I have been a part of and a guest at many weddings. I am delighted to highly recommend Theresa Davis as a wedding planner and coordinator. She is very smart, incredibly creative and completely organized. She deals extremely well with every element of the process and will make sure that your wedding is the very best and that you enjoy yourself rather than stress about the details of the event. She can deal with unexpected situations smoothly and competently and deals well with all kinds of people, whether children or adults. Whether you need someone to officiate, take care of “day of” production or everything from start to finish of the entire process, I totally recommend you contact Theresa and see for yourself what a great job she can do.
I recently attended a wedding for a friend and was quite impressed at how well organized it was. From the flowers to the music and the photographer, it appeared that the wedding planner had thought out all the details. The venue was beautifully decorated and the food preparation was quite tasteful. The ceremony itself was quite romantic and tears of joy could be seen all around on the faces of the family and friends who were in attendance. Weddings can be stressful, but I sensed an atmosphere of peace and tranquility as I believe that In the Event did a fantastic job in putting my friend's special day together to make sure that they could have joyous and happy memories whenever they look back on that day.
