DJ Brian elevated our Star Wars-themed wedding to epic proportions! Despite our intimate gathering of 40 guests, his music selection and lighting set the perfect atmosphere. Cateri...
ng to guests of all ages, DJ Brian ensured everyone was on the dance floor. He flawlessly incorporated our favorite tracks, including Jungle and Post Malone, and even delighted my husband with some Star Wars mixes. DJ Brian truly brought our dream wedding to life, and we're incredibly grateful for his talent and expertise.
We chose In the Mix to do our lighting/draping and our photobooth. The lighting and draping that they did in the Moorpark Country Club ballroom was so pretty. Additionally, they pr...
ovided uplighting in our choice of color (blush), which really helped to elevate the room. Behind the sweetheart table, we set up draping with fairy lights and it was so beautiful. The photobooth was a huge hit! We worked with Sarah to choose the backdrop color/texture, and to design the photo strip. Our initial call was with Tim, and he was super knowledgeable and able to provide a lot of options and suggestions for how we could decorate inside the ballroom. Both Tim and Sarah were friendly, professional and easy to work with. On the day of, they were prompt in showing up for set-up, and we had no issues with the photobooth all night. The photobooth staff helped to keep the line moving, helped to set up the camera for different group sizes, and helped to organize our photo guestbook as best they could. We had a great experience working with In the Mix, and would recommend them to anyone else looking for lighting/draping or a photobooth!
We hired Tim at In the Mix Events to do the lighting at our wedding and he was awesome!! He was so organized and professional. We had our wedding reception in a grass field and nee...
ded all the lighting to be brought in. Tim had the perfect ideas to light up the area and create a beautiful ambiance. It was also unique and different from the other quotes I received. Tim was more than happy to go above and beyond for my special day! His experience in lighting shows and it was such a pleasure to work with him. The lights he used also looked amazing in the pictures. I highly recommend hiring In the Mix for any event!
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G - We used In The Mix for both lighting and DJ services. First off, the lighting set the perfect fun and romantic mood we hoped for. It was absolutely everything we im...
agined. We got married in a barn and the lighting was the perfect touch to our rustic feel. Can we just say we ended the night with MOST of our guests still on the dance floor. These guys kept everyone dancing and involved the entire night. We spent a lot of time making our wedding a reality and the last thing we wanted was for people to be bored or leave early. Thanks to Tim and his team, we were able to celebrate the entire night with almost all of our guests. They did our ceremony music, cocktail hour music, dinner music and party music. They were timely, no mistakes and everything we could have asked for! We HIGHLY recommend In The Mix and will absolutely be using their services for any other events we may have! THANK YOU!
I don’t think I can say enough about Tim and In The Mix. If you’re looking at them for any of their services, do yourself a favor and book today! Our February 2018 wedding was at t...
he Camarillo Ranch, and we used In The Mix for lighting, DJ/MC, and photobooth, and were beyond pleased with all 3. Our guests couldn’t say enough how beautiful and perfect the lights were, and had so much fun with the photobooth. (the girls working at the photobooth were fantastic by the way!) But by far Tim and his partner in DJing were outstanding. Before the big day Tim walked us through everything, making sure no detail was left out. And checked in periodically to make sure we had anything we may have been missing. Come the day of, we had A LOT of unexpected things come up that requested quick changes and movement on the part of the DJs. Needless to say, they were kind and professional and if I didn’t already know they were last minute changes, I would have had no idea. They transitioned so smoothly and made it seem like it was all part of the plan the whole time. We are so thankful to Tim and In The Mix for making our special day the success that it was! We couldn’t have had a better time, and cant thank you enough!
In the mix made my wedding seamless. Tim was professional and prompt even with last minute changes. We were able to create a wedding that was all our own with their help. Tim I c...

Our photo booth was amazing. The attendant was so sweet and made sure everyone had a blast taking pictures.
Everything about Tim and the gang at In the Mix worked out great for us at our wedding. Tim was our MC and held our schedule together while also managing to keep the party going at...
all times! We didn't want our DJ to be too corny or obnoxious, and Tim was exactly what we hoped for. Even in all the preparation stages, my husband and I felt very comfortable preparing for our big day with Tim as music was very important to us. We were very detail-oriented in that aspect, and it was well-received from In the Mix. We always had great communication with everyone from their team. Will definitely recommend using them to all our friends!
Great to work with! Super helpful! And gave me the best advice of anyone - let the guests run the schedule and don't worry about being exactly on time with everything, you won't en...
joy it if you do! Several things go pushed back or moved around because guests were enjoying other parts of the wedding or we wanted to take advantage of a photo opportunity and being flexible made my day so much more enjoyable!
Great DJ & MC. I was very happy about their performance. They played the songs i requested and were also great with requests from the guests. The MC made everything run perfectly s...

th, provided us with an array of options to choose from, and did a fantastic job of covering the bases! We had 200 person outdoor wedding/dinner reception at a Gainey vineyard in Santa Ynez. And yes, we had a tight budget and Tim was able to pull it off! Based on our experience, if you are looking for a seasoned professional, easy to work with , Tim is your guy!
We heard about In The Mix from my wedding planner and Tim provided us with a very detailed estimate and design for the bistro lighting we envisioned for our outdoor evening wedding...
. He also worked with us on the revisions to the contract I wanted. The service isn't cheap, but it was worth it: we were so impressed with the final product. The lighting looked so beautiful and created such a wonderful spacing and ambiance at the event. I would highly recommend In The Mix for custom event lighting services.
Tim was great to work with. He heard everything I said and threw in his ideas to help me out. I immediately felt like I would be taken care of. He was able to do everything I wante...
d from dance floor lighting to additional lighting for my venue. It all looked phenomenal. Don, our DJ, was phenomenal. He read the crowd so well. I asked for a party and that's exactly what I got. Everyone commented how well he blended the music for my diverse guest list. My friends and family have several times said they had an amazing time. In fact, I even have a friend who wants to hire them because of the great job Don did at my wedding!
We had researched many entertainment companies and we met with one right before meeting with Tim, but after meeting with Tim we could not have gone with anyone else. Tim was extre...
mely professional and at the same time, very down to earth. He talked to us about the whole process and what his company can do to a wedding's atmosphere. Well, we fell in love with his ideas and most importantly he made us feel comfortable and spoke to us like human beings instead of just another sale. When the day of our wedding came, we had Bryan as our MC and I'm not sure who the DJ was, but they both did a FANTASTIC job. Everyone told us we had the most easy flowing, well organized, and funnest wedding they had ever been to thanks to In the Mix Events!! Bryan kept the party motivated and having a blast and the DJ kept playing beats that the guests loved dancing to. Having GREAT entertainment was one of the most important aspects of my wedding and they made my wish come true! People are still talking about my wedding and how much fun they had!! Thank you Tim, Bryan, and DJ!!
I am SO happy my husband and I chose to work with Tim at In The Mix Events. Tim was one of the very first vendors we booked FOREVER AGO. We had a very long engagement *cough* 2 yea...
rs. We met Tim at a wedding expo and right away were drawn to his personality. We really wanted to avoid the cheesy, obnoxious wedding dj...and we did. We only had 2 meetings with Tim prior to the wedding and in that time he really grasped exactly what we wanted. The night of the wedding, he created the PERFECT energy and flow for what we wanted. Everyone had so much fun dancing together. Everyone was coming up to us saying "wow you've got a really great dj". And we definitely did. When we were trying to envision what our perfect wedding day was we decided that what we wanted more than anything was a PARTY. We wanted to eat, drink, dance and be merry. Tim helped us throw the perfect party. You won't regret working with In The Mix. ...We did go over our budget but it was money well spent.
In the Mix Events is such an amazing company. They truly feel that planning and preparing so so important, and I believe that the DJ/Emcee is the most important part of a wedding, ...
because they guide your special day and ensure that all goes as planned. In the Mix made us feel like we were their only clients, although we obviously weren't. Our DJ, Bryan, was spectacular and made us feel comfortable yet excited right off the bat, and made our wedding day so much fun and exciting. Tim, our lighting specialist was fantastic, and transformed our event into a magical day. Lastly, Monica, our photo booth gal (yes they offer photo booths as well) was so wonderful. She helped our guests all night with fun props, and really was so excited for us! The whole team made us feel special and made our day better than we could've ever imagined! Go with them!!!!!
Tim threw a great party. Great personality! The guests loved him.
Tim at "In the Mix" was amazing and did a fantastic job keeping things moving at our wedding at played exactly the type of music we asked for. We had many comments from our guests...
about what a great DJ we had and I couldn't agree more. Tim went above and beyond for us!

We used In The Mix for our wedding this October and can't express how happy we were with Tim for being such a great MC! He was a pleasure to work with and really knew how to change...
things up during the reception...he had people on the dance floor all night long (we extended the reception even because the whole party was out dancing!). Such a pleasure to work with...highly recommended!!!
Our DJ from the moment met was a joy to work with. He was encouraging and helpful and guided us to the right package with out trying to pressure the expensive packages on us....
His MC skills are amazing. He glided through the formal stuff with ease and was flexible when the informal requests came in.;He puts your needs first which may conflict with the needs of the venue
